Dichotomy of Angels and demons

One of the main problems of humanism, is the fact, that it does not have a clear credo.

Then again, off cause enlightenment as represented by the Statue of Liberty and the Socratic fight of Voltaire, is a centrepeace idea.

But the human understanding and caring of the individual does not really have a credo.

In my studies of the roots of humanism, I have come across an ancient paper, that must have been at the hands of the Rosicrucians, the founders of modern humanism.

It is an apocryphical treatise on Jewish magick, to be specific the magick of Solomon the witch king.

You can discuss the ideas of that, but attached to the treatise, there is this beautiful little allegory over the cabbalistic tree of life.

Cabbalism being one of the roots of humanism, and treatise being an obvious source to the Rosicrucians, it makes sense, that this piece of ethics is founding father material.

I won’t change it, but just post the ideas as I found them. So that you yourself can analyze it as you wish.

Some of the things that struck me when I read it, was the fact, that we are doings so much wrong these days.

Just take the intellectual inertia we are in, that is wrong. Or our low birthrates, that is wrong. The life that is supposed to be the result of humanism, the flourishing, the happiness is not there. We are going in the wrong direction.

We need that gospel of joy to be reignited.

For the Christians who are reading this material, this is some of the basic ideas of both Judaism, Christianity and Islam, so it should be safe ground.

What we need to usher in is not a decade of death, but a decade of life.

G-d bless the will to see life flourishing.

    Hello Asger
All Near Dead Experiencers agree that the religious duality of heaven and hell is an error. The afterlife, has degrees or levels, and you enter the level where you belong, depending what you have done with your life on earth.
Evil Does Not Exist – Only Stupidity. Satan Does Not Exist – Only Ego and selfishness. These statements will jerk some people’s chains, but please bear with me and continue.
Few erroneous beliefs and religious discombobulations hold to a dualistic system of good versus evil. It is the belief that there is only one force of goodness (God) and only one force of badness (Satan). In between are humans who are little more than pawns on a big chessboard for these two equally opposing forces to battle over.
Throughout history, this belief system has been held by millions and millions of people. But new research and testimonies are giving us much better insights into whether such theological and philosophical concepts are actually valid. Near Dead Experiences and testimonies offer us a much more realistic and logical solution to the classical paradox concerning “the problem of evil.” What the religious traditions of the world perceive to be “sins,” NDE testimonies reveal to be “mistakes” which God allows humans to make for the purposes of their higher education and spiritual evolution. What these religious traditions perceive to be “evil,” NDE testimonies reveal to be “ignorance.” What humans perceive as “the devil” NDE testimony reveals to be “our own ego, selfishness and negative thought process.”
The following insights reveal the true nature of human failings.
Mistakes are an acceptable part of being human. We are here to make all the mistakes we want because it is through our mistakes that we learn. As long as we try to do what we know to be right, we will be on the right path. If we make a mistake, we should fully recognize it as a mistake, then put it behind us and simply try not to make the same mistake again. The important thing is to try our best, keep our standards of goodness and truth, and not compromise them to win people’s approval. God loves us just the way we are, warts and all.
When we make a mistake, we should ask for forgiveness. After that, it would be an insult if we don’t accept that we are forgiven. We shouldn’t continue going around with a sense of guilt, and we should try not to repeat our mistakes. We should learn from our mistakes. God wants us to do what we want to do. That means making choices – and there isn’t necessarily any right choice. There is a spectrum of possibilities, and we should make the best choice from those possibilities. If we do that, we will receive help from the Other Side.
There really is no sin as it is known in the world. The only thing that has any meaning in the spirit world is what we think. The very core of our being is perfect love and light. There is no evil in any human Soul. It is the lack of love that distorts people. We are designed by God to self-correct, just like the rest of the universe. No one is lost because everyone is already saved.
The more we exercise our individual consciousness and free will for self-interest, self-gratification, self-centeredness, and self-righteousness, the more we heightened our sense of self apart from the Whole. This separation of self from the Whole is what people call “sin”.
The greatest enemy we can face is ourselves. Hell refers to levels of negative thought-forms that reside in close proximity to the Earth realm. It is where we go to work out, or remain within, our hang-ups, addictions, fears, guilt, angers, rage, regrets, self-pity, arrogance, or whatever else blocks us from the power of our own light. We stay in hell (and there are many divisions to this vibratory level) for however long best serves our development. There is no condemnation here, only the outworking of our own misjudgements, mistakes, misalignments, and misappropriations – what some people call “sin”.
Negative thought vibrations comes out of ignorance. High vibrations indicate love and spiritual development, while low vibrations indicate debasement and evil.” Evil and the devil do not exist. What people consider evil is really ignorance.
It is not unusual for near-death experiencers returning from clinical death to report having received information concerning their pre-existence before they were conceived in the world. Some experiencers report of learning how they chose various aspects of their lives to be predestined before they were born. Some of the choices people have reported having chosen before birth include the selection of their birth parents, choosing their mission in life, and even choosing how they will die.
This knowledge received by near-death experiencer’s of the past and future shows how some things in life are predestined while other things are not. It shows how free will and predestination both exist and work hand in hand. It means we choose our destiny in life before our birth into the world to live it. Because reincarnation is a concept found in many cultures and religions, the metaphor of life as a river which we chose before we were our birth, shows up in many of these cultures and religions. There are many aspects to a river which make it an excellent analogy to help us understand where we came from, where we’re going, who we are, why we’re here, and what life is all about. The following discussion will attempt to do just that.
As we (Souls) prepare for our own birth the choices are many, one life we may choose to be Muslim to experience that culture, in the next life we may choose to be an atheist or a Jew, Hindi, Buddhist or Christian, to experiences each cultures values and distractions. Sometimes we choose to be rich powerful and other times poor and confused, sometimes we are intellectual giants, at other times fools. We need the total variety of experiences to learn how to love unselfishly on all levels. Added to this your karmic accountability are making demands as well. Insights revealed shows we come here and choose to forget our higher knowledge so we can learn more effectively and faster due to the limitations that only a physical body can achieve.
We choose to forget so we can focus more on physical reality and complete our missions in life better. We choose to forget because we don’t want to be so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good. If we retained all of our prior knowledge, we may try to avoid the pain, thereby avoiding any gain. We choose to forget so that we can make decisions out of free will without being completely influenced by our higher knowledge. Any other way would be equivalent to a student being given the answers before taking a test. It is not a good way to learn.
We choose to forget because it allows us to make mistakes out of free will for the purpose of learning and growing. Forgetting our higher knowledge helps us to appreciate, benefit, and learn all we can from our physical life through re-discovering this higher knowledge – now in physical ways.
Through forgetting our higher knowledge, we can understand physical life better by re-discovering how to return to God. And re-discovering these things is not enough. We must incorporate and embody this knowledge into our daily activities. It helps us to make an effort to remember these things and re-discover our true selves as spiritual beings and that our spirits are one with God. We forget our higher knowledge so that we are able to succeed as normal human beings advancing our spirits. If we retained all our pre-birth knowledge, we would seem abnormal to the rest of society.
Some souls do inhabit bodies that are retarded or crippled because they have decided to maintain some of this higher knowledge in order to teach those around them lessons in love. As we enter, we forget who we are because we want to do everything humanly possible to fulfil our missions for humanity and God. We forget these things so we can make the most of the human experience for ourselves and God. We are spirits having a human experience. We are NOT human beings having a spiritual experience.
    I am Rene’ Descartes…. I still think I am
