All right, let’s see if we can zoom in on the peace efforts and the efforts to keep the Middle East on a good path. As the ancient Zoroastrians said (the religion of Cyrus the Great) what we need is good thoughts, good speaking and this will lead to good actions.
In other words, we need to recapitulate on the ideas that we are working on. What is it, that we want to do?
What are the essential aims of our conduct?
According to the ancient Persians, it is supposed to be something good.
What are the essential moral aims of this century?
It is progress, happiness and dreams realized.
We are living in an era where technology has the ability to move the world unto a better place. It requires us to understand the tech and how it may move our world in a good way.
Yet what we are doing right now is the opposite. We are blindingly just following our own instincts of hate and despair. We are not doing things that will make the world better.
I understand that the murder Hanyeh, that was a moderate voice in Hamas, in Iran, is a provocation without equal.
Yet, what good would it do to destroy the holy land?
These are some of questions we need to put to ourselves. We need to do in dialogue and hopefully reach some kind of understanding. Trust is hard to build, yet trust is the fruit of goodness.
G-d bless the will to do think good thoughts, speak good and do good actions and may we by that ancient principle find peace.
