How do we solve the Ukraine crisis?
We do it by looking and the basic conflict. The basic conflict is two fold;
1. The fight is over the parts of Ukraine that holds the most ethnic Russians in Ukraine. They have already voted to be a part of Russia. Hence the solution lie en the claim the POPULATION has to the ground. To make sure, that there is no colonization, one could look at a fair distribution of territories according to ethnic adherence.
2. The fight is also due to POLITICAL differences. Ukraine is a very western, liberal country that holds some lesser adherence to conservatism. Russia is VERY conservative, at the same line as Poland. So, the parts of Ukraine that is the most conservative, should go for that affiliation.
In other words, it is up to the CITIZENS of the contested areas and not all the powers that wants to control the territory.
That is the most adequate and fair in a very difficult situation.
