Mr. Zelensky and Mr. Putin. I know that the anger and the hurt is very deep in the Ukraine war.
It’s what happens, when you go to war.
However, the longer this fight goes on, the deeper the wounds.
You are very close in terms of history and roots. You are a brother nation to each others.
In a way YOU are an also caught in a vicious trap, the war destroying the infrastructure and the economy.
But the trauma, that comes from this will be deep. I know that you are valiant fighters and you fight for each of your peoples. Right now no one has the moral high ground. Both are equal in that moral sense.
That is why, with the interest of future generations in mind, I sincerely speak for reconciliation.
We all pay a tremendous price, our children will pay a devastating price. The longer this goes on, the higher the price.
It is matter of taking each one little step towards each other, step by step, and eventually meeting each others.
G-d bless the peace we CAN find, may the future generations of all the proud Rus, be safe and sound. May both countries prevail.
