All right, the Iranian people are not going to rebel. They can’t, because of the repressive system.
This leaves us with only one option; to incrementally reduce our attack on Iran.
I wish it was otherwise, but the premise for the attack, is the uprising of the Iranian people.
In the Western alliance, the strain is very much apparent, and even though we will have some kind of reckoning, all this anger within the alliance is a sign of true danger. People will get hurt, if the alliance is destroyed.
My advice is; take it easy. Breathe in, think about it. We HAVE reached the basic objective of weakening Iran, so an incremental release of pressure is good FOR US. We can keep some kind of control of the Hormuz, and keep the alliances in the Middle East. Also, the MAGA base seems to be strengthened in the US. So a material win is probably a strengthening down towards the mid term elections.
We have to be careful not to loose all coherence in the Western alliance.
This will have as an effect a recalibration of NATO, and the European nations will have to step up. The old guard is falling, and a generation is coming in. A generation that will fight for the future of Europe.
This is really times of Change in Europe and the Middle East.
