Okay, so we countered the Iranian grab for control of the Hormuz strait. It will take some time to get total control of the strait, but with control of the strait, the economy of Iran will stop functioning. This in itself will stop most attempts at rebuilding the nuclear facilities and so on.
If and when we control the oil valves of Iran, they are in a lot of trouble.
This comes down to the really good fighting going on. This is our true advantage; military edge, and my abilities as a strategist. All in all our chances of winning this bout has increased a lot.
The launch of the Apache helicopter and the Warthog is good. This will stop the Shahed missiles and the small fast boats used to harass the tankers. All we need to do, is to get rid of the machine gun nests along the shore line, and get rid of the mines, and also install some rocket defense.
After that we control the strait of Hormuz, and will be in a much better position to further the rest of the goals of the war.
