All right, so there is, essentially, just one more dangerous opponent left for Israel; Hezbollah.
What do we do?
First of all, I REALLY appreciate the new found alliance with the Phoenicians or the Lebanese.
This ancient people, from the city of Tyre, was a close ally when we here the last time with a nation, and it is only natural, that the allegiance is renewed.
The Lebanese are a good and peaceful people with an ancient history to support them.
They invented the alphabet, commerce and has always been a people of peace.
We are proud, from an Israeli perspective, to recommence such an illustrious partnership again, the Phoenicians helped us build the first temple, by he master architect Hiram. We are still in debt for that.
Perhaps the Lebanese will support a new temple build. King Solomon was a good friend of the Lebanese, and we welcome this alliance again.
But the problem is Hezbollah. They have dug in deep in the mountains close to Israel, and are difficult to get to the negotiating table.
My proposal for a process to make them find peace with Israel and Lebanon is a measure of SQUEEZING.
Squeeze them from the different fronts, until they parlay for peace.
They have a pretty staunch support from the Iranians. But even that will not go on forever if Hezbollah staunchly refuses to parlay.
The result should be one that sets the Lebanese free from pressure from Hezbollah and stops the ongoing rocket barrage into Israel.
Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy, and the Iranians actually have a lot of honor. So they will not abandon them. But Israel and Lebanon trying to make peace is not an aggressive stance, it’s a fair attempt and defusing the conflict. So hopefully the Iranians will accept this attempt at finding peace.
So instead of an offensive with the Hezbollah, a squeezing ground mission, to force a peace with Lebanon is the goal.
G-d bless the peace of the Middle East.
