Another thing that makes sense in the realization of G-d ALWAYS taking the side of the opressed, is why me?
Why was I the chosen, me. I mean, I get it that I am skilled and so on. But I am, by all means living under the boot of the local law enforcement.
But that again is exactly why. YOU are ALSO chosen, and will have the support of g-d, if YOUR fight is righteous and good.
As soon as YOU stray from that narrow path, he will get angry at you.
At least that is my own experience. And that can be easily expanded to the movers and shakers in the monotheistic religions.
To be honest, being in that situation where you fight for the weak, poor and suppressed is a tough call. A lot of my international friends they are living a privileged life. I have to look at each penny every month to put a roof over my head. Because I use all my time writing on this blog, and the danish blog as well.
But G-d sees this, the champion of the poor and the dispossessed. And we walk hand in hand, making my life full of meaning and content. But it’s really not easy. Privilege has its lure, to be honest.
But that is just the way it is with us who have faith in what is good. We sacrifice and fight for the little guy, in service of the almighty.
G-d bless the peace we can find by UNDERSTANDING the ethical choices of our ruler.
