The Iranians are many thing, but they are DEFINITELY not stupid. It’s a very wise people.

This means that we are fighting a Napoleon style type of war.

What made Napoleon the winner all the time in his wars?

It was innovative STRATEGY, he was much more flexible in his troop arrangements than the standard fixed wartroops of the Habsburg and other he fought.

What he ALSO did better than everyone else, was in planning each battle with contingencies and plans within plans.

This is the way you fight an intelligent adversary. By recognizing his strength in strategy and making the same with your forces. It’s a chess game.

Now, the “Mosaic” strategy has been applied, which essentially means, that the IRGC is acting in independent clusters.

It’s not bad, in fact it’s really good. This means that we may able to take one local group down, but the rest of the force would be intact.

Just bombing indiscriminately will only dent the actual forces of Iran. Also, it’s a bit waste of ammunition.

No, we need to fight smart.

How do we do that?

By identifying the leaders of each subgroup, and take them out. I am sorry, but this is war, I wish it was soon over.

Secondly, I would make a deliberate attack on the electronic infrastructure. Pull down the communication internal as well as external, to keep blinding the enemy.

They are TRYING to pull off a Gaza strategy. That is guerilla war, hiding underground and using the terrain to their advantage.

We should find SMART ways of countering that.

Shock and awe may seem powerful. But this a chess game not a brawl.
