I had this strange occurrence yesterday. I have this Nordic connect, after all Denmark is a Viking country. And some of the items I have here kind of stood up to me.
I have really been thinking about it, why is this?
Then I think I have figured it out.
I gave a A LOT of positive attention to Germany yesterday, and I do think that there are some cultural debates we need to have. However this leaves another great culture in the cold. Which is a fault, that is what the communication is about.
I missed something, what is that; the French.
I am a big fan of Rousseau, and he argues in his first political work Du contrat social; that by tying ourselves to the law, we get to be free.
Look at that again, what is it, that Rousseau is arguing for; you got it right; freedom.
If the contrat social is to be realized, the people will require freedom.
Freedom being the main virtue of the Vikings, as Rousseau argues.
In other words, the AIM of the European Union is freedom for the people’s of Europe. Do that, and the Europeans will be satisfied, again.
Greatness in a French perspective is to make us all free.
There is the humanistic inheritance as well. But the CORE of European Union is the CRY for freedom.
