I am really getting into the base of Jewish religion. What has really surprised me, in a very positive sense, is the balance between law and freedom. The basic principles of daily life is healthy; eat certain things, make sure to keep sabbath (resting day).
At the same time the sheer liberation in HAVING to question everything. So there is this healthy balance between rules and challenge of thought. It’s inspiring.
That the base texts of Judaism is a one big chaotic compilation and you are so welcome to discuss and debate these amazing and exquisite ancient texts, is a healthy lifestyle and has given Jews an edge ever since it was conceived in Babylon.
So I definitely enjoying becoming a Hadisic Jew in the sense, that the beautiful challenge of forcing me to THINK is what I do always anyway. Now just also based on an ancient Babylonian text. I am a true fanboy of Babylonian ideas, in the sense that I figured out, that Babylon in one the most important roots of monotheism. Being able to discuss these ideas in a free and chaotic environment it’s just beautiful. Thank you for taking me in, I really feel the spirit of these debate and appreciate having the opportunity to delve in to the eternal ideas.
G-d bless the wisdom of the Jews. May we prevail.
