To the discussion of the Ukraine peace deal, these are my reflections.
First of all, Mr. Putin is right in the observation, that it is very important for the European states not to loose face.
We have to be very careful for the European states to have a way to accept the current process, and give them a way out as a win.
The obvious win is the formation of an EU army. However this in itself is a very delicate process. The armies of the nationstates are very loyal to the royal institutions and they see themselves as defender of the crowns.
So, they will not accept a total allegiance to the European Commission. Therefor my advise is, as I have stated before; make a league. That is a more loosely connected organization of independent, sovereign states. Don’t push the armies in under direct control of the commission, accept and appreciate the identity and culture of the individual armies.
Cooperation and shared defense capabilities is a normal way to make this. It is more Roman, where auxiliaries often were drafted from non Roman countries. Like the Scythian cavalry, that campaigned a lot under the Roman banner.
This ensures a good balance.
Also accept that the individual armies must serve the crowns as well, and do things the crowns want.
Having a powerful army is a thing in itself, it is more an insurance than a thing you use.
So it will make it possible to defend the borders better and will be a deterrent.
Concerning the business proposals that Putin makes, it makes good sense.
Mr. Putin seems open for a good debate, and we will hopefully realize peace with him.
G-d bless the peace we can find in Europe. May the citizens of Europe be happy and live good lives.
