The current test of wills between the Iranians and the Americans is really tough.

But, this is Pesach and Passover, so my advice is to double down on the VALUES.

What are the values of Pesach? It’s FREEDOM. We the Jews were freed from slavery by G-d and Moses, and fled to the Sinai to find, ultimately, the holy land of Israel.

To the Iranians. This call for freedom rings a bell, doesn’t it?

Why, because you are ALSO descendants of the sea peoples who were induced to the Mediterranean by the Phoenicians some seven thousands years ago.

In our culture, democracy and freedom is at the core. It’s called a FREESTATE what we used to have here in the cold north.

Each man a free man meeting a the thinge to find justice or “retfærd”, a straight course.

This culture is at the deepest level, glossed over by aeons of ideas. But called forth, it rings a bell.

After this, my most brotherly and heartfelt wish for you, is to give freedom to all those who yearns for it.

At the other side. I can see the pain and the desperation. It’s tough, extremely tough.

But agains, what YOU fight for is ALSO the same virtue; that of FREEDOM. You are vessels of g-d trying to make the world free.

Double down on that, that is the beacon and hope. On that hill. Don’t forget who you are. FIGHT for freedom, and this will pull YOU back to your deepest roots as well.

Home of the brave, land of the free. That is the mission briefing, and it is as virtuous and beautiful as ever.

G-d bless the American way, and may it be the Iranian way as well. May we set the world free.
