All right, so I am beginning to see the plan in Iran. Here are my thoughts on it.

First of all, the Germans are getting skittish. I know, that it is a minor issue. But loosing allies is not cool.

Maybe we need to figure out a way, to make them feel a part of the war.

Secondly. There seems to be two objectives now. One is the geopolitical war against China, that revolves around oil and other natural resources. The second is the liberation of the Iranian people.

Both go hand in hand, one supports the other.

So the great question is; what about the oil. As we are speaking, we are targeting the Kharg Island, that is the key oil facility of Iran.

If Kharg island falls, the Americans will effectively be in control of the shipping in and out of Iran, making taking the Island a move against the closing of the strait of Hormuz.

This however requires boots on the ground.

Now is it a good idea?

It is cementing the siege of Iran, if we go in, we are committed.

However, it’s fundamentally different in scope and aim than the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. It’s much more small scale and it therefor gives less casualties. Plus the whole regime building apparatus is not made. In effect it is MUCH cheaper than Afghanistan and Iraq.

It will be a major blow to China, and will also influence India. Putting US in a much stronger geo political position.

Question is; will the MAGA base, that is the supporters of the Trump administration accept it. It seems that, as of now, they accept the air war, on the premise, that it will be limited.

Honestly, this I do not know. I have much less insight into the MAGA base than the Trump administration has itself.

I can hear, that a lot of the new media influencers; Tucker Carlson, Candace Owen’s, Breibart seems to have left the base. While as I and Victor David Hanson support still.

So it’s a generational thing. The old guard are still in. Victor and I are essentially philosophers and see the conflict in a much broader scope than the new generation.

We see it as an existential fight for the very base of western civilization with our roots in the Greek classical culture. While as the new generation is a bit more sceptical.

I would probably take a real hard and honest look at the political divide and figure out if the MAGA base will stomach a limited ground assault. Be REALISTIC.

And we need to wheel in the Germans again, figure out what they need to support us.
