All right, so the next move by Iran is to play the energy card. They seek to dominate the oil transport in order to strengthen China (paying the oil in Yen, thereby weakening the dollar in trade), and to make so much trouble, that the Americans loose the moral, long term, fighting will.

So, let’s try and straighten it out.

Iran seek to control the flow of oil with the few remaining weapons at their disposal, small, fast boats, some artillery at the course of the strait of Hormuz and mines.

So the natural counter move would be to try and eliminate these weapons. HOW we do this, is the question.

Here again, we need to figure out a STRATEGY, to counter these measures.

Maybe these new lasers that shoot down drones could be applied to moving platforms, maybe ships, to cover the strait. Also the artillery is a problem, shields of some kind must be applied, what do we have in that department?

The Ukrainians have a lot of experience with the shahed drones, so maybe their experience could work.

So it has to be a strategy, that takes the troops in consideration, how to counter them, with the aim as to CONTROL the transport.

Make a multi layered strategy, that includes all the arms of the war effort, from intelligence to weapons deployment to attack and removal of the weapons at the disposal of the Iranian side. Think LONG TERM. Controlling the strait of Hormuz is a true economic game changer.
