So the negotiations are in full swing in the Iran/American, Israeli peace negotiations.
First of all, what are the priorities of G-d? I was inspired to support the demonstrators of the uprising, because their suffering and problems seemed to be unacceptable to G-d. And I agree. A state is supposed to make the people happy and content.
What is really the issue here. I don’t really think that it is the individual person in the Islamic leadership. I have watched a lot of debates, and they seem wise, rebellious, good people essentially. However the SYSTEM is repressive.
I have fought for the interests of my own people, I truly understand the yearning to be free and content.
It’s a deep unease, when you know that the secret police is watching your every move. The feeling of being in prison.
When the secret police seeks to control you, your life is horrible.
So the CONTROL system is the problem.
The control system is modeled over the Crypteia, the secret police of Sparta. It is essentially a Platonic idea. BUT I think, one should see how the Crypteia really worked, it was never used to control the Spartans themselves. They were essentially a Viking, fierce, military lot being democratic. The real control in the Spartan system lay in the Community and the hard social control by peers. You could be ostracized, if you didn’t live up to standard. Spartans were hard to EACH OTHERS.
The Crypteia was aimed at the Helots, the enslaved people that Sparta ruled over.
To fix the system, and finally give the people freedom, the control of the people should be by THEMSELVES, that is democratic assembly, not by police control.
When the system evolves to ACCEPT the people more, it will make the people more content. And get the secret police to stand down.
Btw. That would include the DANISH secret police, that is trying to control me all the time.
In other words, the secret police should be given less control, and the people should have its philosophers and poets to roam free and debate the republic.
G-d bless the will of the people, which is the meaning of the term “re-public”; government by the public. May we have peace.
