All right, so it’s getting better with the relationship between Israel and the US.
We don’t agree with everything, but to me, we agree on most, so building those bridges is possible.
One thing that REALLY hit home for me, regarding the criticism of Mr. Carlson was; that he criticizes Trump for not caring about the rural areas.
You know, I work on an eco farm, and I am really accepted in that environment. And I really like it. It’s beautiful on the farm, and people support each others. It’s a healthy community. Good people.
And to be honest, I don’t know if the problems facing Danish agriculture, Israelis agriculture or American agriculture are the same.
I know a bit about Israeli agriculture, it’s REALLY innovative, it’s really amazing.
I have lobbied a lot for Israeli/Danish agricultural cooperation. It didn’t really work, but hopefully we can make it work in the future.
The problems here in Denmark are tied to industrialization. In the old times, farming was knowing the soil, the weather, the seasons.
Today it’s all about machines, gps, fertilizing. This creates a mechanical way of looking at things, and that is not ALWAYS good. Off cause it’s a business, you have to make a living and so on. But loosing the connection to the seasons and the mystery of nature, has not been all good.
Quality in food production also comes with care and innovation.
Add to this, few young people want to do farming, so it creates a depopulation problem.
So investing time and focus on the rural areas makes sense.
I will try to do some research into the issues of the American rural areas, and perhaps use some of my experience working with it here in Denmark on an international scale, if it makes sense.
But you are right Tucker, rural areas gets too little attention.
G-d bless the will to LISTEN to your fellow men.
