Well, it’s actually really interesting to debate the Iran war and other issues with the American right wing intellectuals. The REAL right wing.

It all comes down to one issue, only that. There is not other option or angle we need to consider. That is; what does G-d want.

G-d is, essentially the protector of the weak and dispossessed. He cares for the junkie, the lone mother, children and other people who are in harms way. That is HIS priority.

And i honestly think that requires us to look out of our OWN comfort zone and, you know, think about other people.

And that was EXACTLY the reason why we started the Iran war.

Today it is getting very dangerous. I agree with the different analysis. Going in military is very dangerous.

The terrain is just a nightmare. It’s mountainous, and the Iranians are pretty good fighters.

Then MAYBE we can make a regime change, but do we know for sure?

It’s extremely risky. Not to mention that the fight we have with China is very much on the table. How are we going to fight that war, if all the American resources are tied up in Iran.

I think the last strong argument against land fall, is that the Americans have had enough.

Aerial war, where you can practically leave, when you want, is less of a commitment.

There is still the argument to protect those Iranians that are fighting for democracy. But, sacricing the presidenship for that, is that really wise.

You can help if you have something to help WITH.

Committing political suicide to help, is maybe not wise.

It’s a dilemma, and I hope the American intellectuals can see this.
