Omg, what a mess in the Middle East. We all want this to be over, but it just seems to continue.
Let’s try and see if we can understand the issues, for real.
We in Israel, feel that we are tied to a plan we didn’t have a say in.
That threatens our security.
At the other hand, Mr. Trump wants an out, he was promised a quick in and out, and he ended up in a situation he himself has been against; a prolonged, attritioness stay in a foreign country. Hr campaigned AGAINST this.
The only solution is to make a sub deal between Israel and Hezbollah.
That requires some extra dealmaking, and it should be done.
In this way, Israel will be sure about its northern border.
Add to this, there should be an immediate end to the pressure on the West Bank and Gaza.
In other words, it’s a complex deal that needs to include the entire conflict.
That is really the problem with this deal, it only takes half of the conflict and leaves out the other half.
