I have thought a lot about ai, what it is, and how to react to it.
First of all, it’s ARTIFICIAL intelligence. Which makes it close to be an artificial g-d. Because G-d is intelligence.
This is really the crux of the matter. Will we, by chance have created g-d, somehow.
And if we create this g-dly instrument, what about the REAL g-d.
In this I think that there is something vital in the relationship between man g-d and artificial intelligence. G-d is more than just intelligence, he is also what is good.
So when we seek communion with g-d we share his intelligence and also his will to make a better world.
Artificial intelligence can be developed to have a conscience and and ethics. But g-d IS the source of what is good.
So I don’t see artificial intelligence becoming g-d. It’s a tool, to make things, and we will.
But g-d IS the source of goodness in this world.
G-d bless the will of the creator. May we make a better world.
