You know, Mr. Tate and I are not exactly on the same page in all that matters. I recognize his brotherhood intentions. I really like and respect that.

Man, Mr. Tate can be a good brother.

This is an advice I got from a friend of mine, a certain David of Cornell.

Mr. Webble was both a firebrand in academia and in real life. He can teach.

So, he made this amazing study into the relationship between sacrifice and love.

He studied it through the Bible (Torah) and philosophized a lot about it.

His conclusion was, there is a certain relationship between sacrifice and love.

If you are not ready to give some of yourself, that you would rather keep to someone else, you do not love that person.

This goes for brothers, wife’s, children and off cause most importantly; nation.

You have to be willing to make that ultimate sacrifice for your nation, if you put on your uniform.

But also children, the depth of their love is measured by the amount you are willing to sacrifice yourself for them.

You give, piece by piece, a little of yourself as they grow up.

That is how you build children, but taking something out of yourself and giving to them.

If you fail them, and you chose yourself, they will not love you. But if you sacrifice yourself, they will. You do not have to be rich or successful for your children to love you, you have to be able to sacrifice yourself.

And that goes for brothers as well.
