Making a deal

In any conflicts, often the anger and the emotions cloud the rational view on the conflict.

According to the Danish philosopher Mr. K.E. Løgstrup, who, among other things were the philosopher behind the internet and had faith in openness, any conflict is 80% misunderstandings and 20% real issues.

Let’s maybe see, if we can unentangle the current conflict in Ukraine.

First of all, it all started many years ago, when I had my first spat with the secret police here, who tried to kill me. Mr. Putin was angered and consequently attacked Sevastopol.

So, the outset was a Russian reaction to the persecution of modern conservatism in Europe.

Then the conflict was boosted due to the simmering conflict between the ethnic Russians in Luhansk and Donetsk and Kiev.

This also angered Mr. Putin, so he wanted to liberate the ethnic Russians.

Lately more reflections have become a part of the conflict. The Nazi squadrons of Ukraine, NATO expansion, old wounds in Eastern Europe not least Finland.

As in any conflict new grievances has been added to the old grievances and thus expanded the causes for anger and resentment.

Lately a full blown third world war is on the table, from both the Russian as well as the European side.

In this mix the Ukrainians are caught and is trying to swim. It’s not easy

However looking at the true grievances first is the rejection of conservatism by the Danish system, which has a symbolic meaning for not only Denmark but the rest of Europe as well.

It’s not me, it’s the content of the European political development.

Secondly is the fate of the ethnic minorities in Ukraine and third is the role of EU/NATO.

These are the issues to tackle in a peace debate.

Fix those issues, and a plan is attainable.

G-d bless the peace we can find in the war of Ukraine. And thank you Mr. Wittkoff, that is some serious deal making going on, pretty impressive. And also Mr. Trump for supporting Mr. Wittkoffs amazing skill at making a deal.
