It’s seems to me, that the current meeting in Beijing between the US and China, is a success in the sense that there is dialogue.
At the first Trump term, I wanted Trump to attack China, but I really feel that the Chinese government is maturing and is getting less hostile. We shouldn’t be naive, we still compete in areas as natural ressources and industry output, so we are competing.
Also, the theft of knowledge is less, it’s still there but it’s not so bad.
The confrontation has taught the Chinese that we are not stupid and can see a hoax when it is there.
So we should give them the benefit of doubt.
In essence, in the Iran war the US has really given the Chinese a lesson, siphoning energy, giving money to our enemies. Not on Mr. Trumps watch.
The Chinese are using the Iran war to apply pressure on Taiwan, which is the goal of the Chinese administration to acquire. So there is a feud going on there.
It ties into the Iran war; resources used in that war cannot be used in regards to Taiwan. But all in all we have won the energy game in Iran, so seen from that perspective it’s good for the West.
Hopefully the European partners are ready to engage in a cooperation of like minded countries, so that Europe gets its head in the game, and start competing for resources as well.
It is the topic of debate behind closed doors here in Denmark. Hopefully the new government ends up in a constructive stance toward the western renaissance, it’s still a bit up in the air. Somehow Mr. Lars Løkke is still fuming. He has to get over it, otherwise there is no real deal.
Anyway, we are actually turning the fall of the West, slowly but surely.
Will the European administration cooperate? Most of it, except for a small but powerful clique in Denmark. We just have to cross our fingers and hope the negotiations are fruitful.
G-d bless the will of the West, may we prevail.
