Israel has the potential of being “the light upon the nations”. Let me try and explain.

When I started my own voyage, it was a distant echo of types like Herzl and my own great grandfather Trier.

It was a stubborn, uphill, romantic defense for the nation. First the Danish nation, but after that all nations.

This brought us EDL, Mr. Barack Obama, Mr. Trump. A renaissance of the nation as an idea.

In Europe, we are under the administration of a federal government that we have very little power over. It’s not so black and white, the EU administration had its good qualities as well. It’s just, we want our nation to protect us and a country to be proud of.

Israel became the ideal, the start up nation, the nation that still held on to the ideals of late 19 hundred romanticism.

This is the potential of Israel, and why we come and salute Israel. Israel is, to us, more than just a place for Jews to find a place of security. It’s a place where the ideas that were left, are still alive.

IF Israel finds a way to steer this movement, not to its own benefit, but to the benefit of all nations, it will become a vastly popular country. As prophesied, a LIGHT upon the other nations.

It will require Israel to reflect on its own role, try to figure out how to be this light.

It’s about being an IDEAL. A place for other nations to look up to.

That is really the potential of our world right now, I know I may sound a little far, with the danger of constant war. But it is the Eden described in the ancient tomes that Israel has the promise to be, and this to shine for all of nations to be idealized.
