So it is Tisha b’Av today, the mourning of the fall of the temple.
It is a day of mourning, but it is also, as the world is changing a day of a bit of hope.
Let me explain.
I am the king in the sense, that I do all the things, that a king is supposed to do. I am so sorry for all of my stress, g-d is right, I need to take it down a notch. Sorry about that.
But the hope is like this.
The Middle East has a lot of potential. If we all just find a way to live together, then with all of its natural riches and ancient traditions, the Middle East could become a new and powerful region.
It comes down to forging a peace between Muslims and Jews.
When I roamed Jerusalem, I was welcomed by all. It was a bit of a ah ha! moment for me.
The potential is, that a king that is respected by all three religions, will be able to make Jerusalem a city of harmony.
It’s the key to peace in the city.
If Jerusalem is in peace, the peace will naturally flow to the rest of the world.
That is the hope.
I respect that it will take a little more time, and I need patience.
But we need more angels in the city, and that is what I bring.
