All right, so the great question Mr. David Hanson, a Swedish descent American poses is; what is western civilization?

To FIGHT for western civilization, you need to figure out what you are fighting FOR.

As a Dane therefor a close relative to Sweden, despite all it’s misgivings and corruption and so on. Sweden is a country of great humanity.

The wish to be a human man is prevalent in the Swedish ideology and faith.

It is one of the things that makes Sweden so amazing.

Add to this a massive talent for ORGANIZATION. Sweden is an impressive place.

However there are other virtues and values of the Scandinavian. Here in Denmark, we are VERY proud of our kings and queens. The tradition of fairytales and romance. It’s what we are. Norway has a bit of that as well. The Hamsun Victoria, the eternal romance. We BELIEVE in that. The princess and the dashing prince. It’s real.

At the heart of what we are, democracy is what we are.

The ancient traditions of the Vikings. Free men, proudly being in their farm. Cruising around in their boats. Cowboys before cowboys were invented.

But we have integrated Christianity as well, and that has a revival these days.

Not the least in southern Europe, where the faith is back.

It’s a renaissance, and we should water it, plant new trees in its fertile soil, and be proud of what we are.

And fight for what we are.
