Listen, a deal is only a good deal, if everyone gets something out of it.
When I am talking about victory, it’s a win, win, win.
Win for the American/ Israeli side for finally making real peace. Win for the clerical administration for recognition, and win for the Iranian people for freedom.
I know that the current constitution is deep and solid, but it is still flawed, otherwise the people would not have been so discontent.
That is the truth right there.
It comes down to a misconception of Karl Marx. He read the Spartan constitution wrong.
The current republic should off cause have a secret police to tame its adversaries. But the people is not its adversaries.
That is the flaw. It doesn’t require a rewriting of the constitution. But it does require another MINDSET.
Set the people free, and you will gain international recognition. Not before that.
