All right, so the midterm elections is moving close, and the American administration is trying to find new ways to tackle some of the challenges that faces the US.

One the most difficult issues is the country side. People are aging and new farmers have a really hard time getting a farm.

The main issue is the economical structure. The land itself is extremely expensive, so a new farmer struggles to get a farm, because he can’t afford the land.

This is an endemic problem for the West, it’s not just the US.

So I work on a farm, and I see these problems.

The only way to counter the development, is by making an environment that creates the right incentives for a repopulation of the country side.

We in Israel, really know how to do this. We have done that since the inception of Israel.

Ok, there is a bit of a crisis in the kibbutzes of a moral kind.

But building new cities is Israeli know how.

Let me try and give an overview, and this comes with an opportunity for Israeli settlers; give back to the US, by sharing knowledge and experience.

When you make a new city, what you do is, that you make sure. That the LEARNING CAPABILITIES are present. That is a small school for learning how to make a farm, but you also make sure, that you put a few old farmers in the town.

Add to this, you make the infrastructure around the families; church, schools, kindergartens and so on.

Then the economical side of the equation can be dealt with in different ways. One is to share the load, by communal banks and solidarity in loan making, micro loans and so on.

The other is to simply make loans that are REALISTIC for a new farmer. It’s essentially about security for the loan, the state should provide the necessary guarantees for the banks, so that loans can be made by people who cannot guarantee a huge security.

If you do that and make it a federal investment, you can turn the negative development into a positive development.

There are a few details that needs to be ironed out, but the basic idea; to use the skills and experience of the Israeli settlers in the US CAN change the development.
