I know, that many people are angry at me for many reasons. I understand.
I caused the entire mess. I stopped being the guardian and the king of Israel.
I thought it was a fleeting thing. I had had my international career under Obama, it was over and I could just do other things. Man was I wrong.
It’s for life. My position as king of Israel, the leading intellectual of the world and all of that, is for life.
Then about the peace deal. Yes it’s an Oslo accord type of peace deal. It’s not like we have made peace with whole world. It’s a preliminary, momentous deal.
If we sit back and expect it to make eternal peace. Well, we would be naive. It’s a step on the way.
If we just sit back, eventually we will be back at war with Hamas. It’s as sure as amen in any kind of monotheistic temple.
So it’s a warning to me, essentially. Either I get to it, and make a process that will keep us at peace, or just leave it.
However, the last time I just left it, we saw what happened.
I am kind of trapped by my own actions.
So instead of being angry at me, at least acknowledge, that I am here. Please? Is that too much to ask?
And then help me, keeping Israel safe.
