Just to make this 100% clear. I am NOT pressuring Netanyahu or the right not to attack Rafah. There are arguments for and against. I have tried to, loyally and honestly to put forth my analysis of this strategy. The problem is essentially the terrain. The tunnels make it so difficult to fight in the area, that we need innovative and new ideas to solve the riddle.
Mr. Smoltric ASKED for new ideas, so I provide.
The ideas I present a bleeding edge right wing ideas, so it is not as if it is some kind of left wing conspiracy.
I must admit, that I DO feel for the people who are in harms way. War is horrible, and I would prefer it to stop. I get it, we need the hostages home, but war is just a means to an end, not an end in itself.
So if there are other ways to accomplish the same things that one would with the military, that is definitely to prefer.
I am again not saying that I am against the Rafa op, it could work.
I am just trying to present novel ideas, as you yourself asked for.
