We are essentially standing at a cross roads right now in Europe, will we fall or will we come back.

Let me try and explain. For millennia the West has been dominating the world. First through imperialism after the reconquista of Spain, and lately by the much more civilized and humane American empire.

However, through a series of events, this domination is SERIOUSLY threatened.

Let us have a look at it. The most painful loss, to me, was the de facto loss of German intellectualism. Goethe, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and so on. Yes we still had Mr. Habermas, but to compare Mr. Habermas with Schopenhauer is just not fair. Schopenhauer, this eclectic, Platonic philosopher is just in his own category.

Through this loss, our intellectual capacity has been severely diminished. Wokeism as it is, is neither wise nor very intellectual.

However by sheer luck, this little reserve of Germanic thought somehow survived the Second World War. Denmark was the little brother of Germany, yes we had Kierkegaard and a few others, but NEVER the with and breath of Germany.

But as German thought virtually crashed after her Second World War, Danish thought just kept going on.

Untill we had the Mohammad cartoon crisis, that really was Denmarks stand against the collapse of the West. We didn’t know about our role or anything. We just refused to bend to Islam.

This has projected the last little remnant of Western thought to the entire Anglosphere, where first Mr. Obama took the Danish last stand and ran with it. And then Mr. Trump has done the same.

We are just a small country, with very few real resources, so it’s very difficult to be in this awkward situation. But we do our best, most of us. We do however fail a lot, because of the lack of political resources and general idiocy within Danish politics. So we are, by all means, a combination of Kierkegaard and don Quixote.

But the thing is, this little last bastion of western intellectualism is all that is truly left.

However, things are actually going reasonably. I know it’s not as perfect as most Germans would want it to be. We are not so systematical as the Germans. But the US IS getting their head back on, and the UK is as well. We will see with Mr. Starmer. But just a good advice. Being a craftsman, with a heart for England is not the same as being racist. It’s being loyal, honest and true to the background one comes from. That was the idea behind Change.

We need to CHANGE. That is, find our own cultural virtues and values again. In a respectful and honest way.

We have to be realistic and treat people in a humane way. But overlooking atrocities to little girls is NOT humane.
