I am a great fan of Germany. I LOVE the Prussian tradition of philosophy. Kant, that was manifested in Schopenhauer and Nietzsche.
German culture is an amazing culture.
Also when I toured with the dance troupe, I was in many German cities. Off cause Denmark has an ambivalent relationship to Germany, due to the Second World War. I am Jew, with all it contains.
Anyway, where will this magnificent culture go now?
Towards war or peace?
The Germans are the best at everything, ESPECIALLY war. I remember when I was at the carnivals of the German cities, both east and west, marching just came naturally.
Even doing fun, as a festival is.
It’s a tradition as ancient as Germany itself.
I am saying this, with a grandmother that had to flee Nazi persecution.
Now, as any German will know, true German philosophy is art and eloquence.
It’s renewing and builds new thoughts. I have just been reading Schopenhauer. It’s amazing.
I know that there is a lot frustration in Germany right now.
Yet at the core of it is a choice, a choice of war or peace.
May the great Germans with their amazing culture choose peace.
The Russians are ready for peace. They are also a great culture. Maybe these cultures can find a common place?
Just be careful, protect the Ukrainians as well. They are ALSO brothers.
G-d bless the peace we CAN find. May Germany be blessed for a thousand years.
