Well, welcome Mr. Walz. That was like to be thrown in a game, that seems to be already running for some time.
Yet, it seems like we are hitting the ground runnning. There is still some time to Election Day, so there is time to make an impression.
Talking to the blue collar voter is more important than ever now. Where other countries seem to go down in disorder and inner conflict, the strong message of unity and acceptance of the workers is extremely important.
We need to keep the country together, and avoid the division seen in other places.
The US needs to remain a free and humane democracy. Where people from all traits are living together.
The concerns of the workers must be heard. The outsourcing of jobs to China, the importance of families living simple yet profound lives in the suburbs.
The happiness over giving thanks and saluting the flag.
These virtues and values are as important as community work, black churches and respect for all colors.
I have two kids, one white and one brown.
It doesn’t matter, they are both my kids, and I do my best to make their lives worth while, so I know how it is to be a man of color. They are very suspicious of me in the harbor where I have my boat. So on and so forth.
Yet, for me, a well working family, and a supportive and stable family life is as important as anyone else.
The simple dream of getting up in the morning, go to work and get home to pick up your kid from the little league, it doesn’t have a color attached, it’s for everyone.
G-d bless the unity we MUST find.
