There are some of my readers that have this issue of having problems finding true love.
If you have everything, then why don’t you find true love?
The reason for this is quite simple. When you see someone that you identify with, it is a reflection of your own ideal character.
If you travel down the path of self destruction and abuse of all weird kinds, you support the worst thing in your character.
For some one else to fall for you, you have to make them see the good in you.
Remember good and beauty are two faces of the same coin.
People fall in love with inner beauty that is reflected in outer beauty.
People can see if you are a beautiful person or not. If you are a beautiful person, you have a lot of charisma and good vibes emanate from you. People fall in love with that.
So to find true love, you have to look at your inner self. Is it a beautiful? If there is room for improvement, put goals for yourself. Like, try to be more fair, just, true, honest. Try to be more supportive of those you love, support your local community better and so on. That is what true soul development is all about.
It takes around two or three years to develop your soul, but you will soon see improvements in your life. People will like you more and so on.
It is not that you should go somewhere to meditate for yourself. You should look at the closests relations and figure out a positive way to be with them. Money is important to have a life.
But improve your ability to give and support. Make your soul more beautiful and after some time, you will attract that soulmate that sees that soul, that is beautiful.
G-d bless the will to support a better world and find true love.
Well, I am really happy, that I am kind getting a relationship to Hollywood.
As an artist, I need friends and colleagues within the artist community. Here in Denmark there is a lot of conflict between right and left and a lot of harassment by the police.
If you support Israel, you have a target on your back and the police will harass you a lot.
A lot of my friends, or rather former friends are constantly going in and out of prison.
So it is a pretty difficult environment to be an artist in.
So, having friends in the US that is not as anti Israel as the police here in Denmark is really nice.
G-d bless the friendship you can have when you see the world as a positive thing.
There is a long way from the heights of Hollywood, to the true suffering of humans.
When you are an artist, you need something to fire your emotions and give you purpose. Truth, beauty and good are one, as Plato say.
So if you have a boring life, it is not easy to make deep and relevant art pieces.
The Danish writer Karen Blixen had this torturous experience in Africa, where she tried to build a farm. She fell in love with an elegant British aristocrat and even had the prince of Wales as a guest.
When she returned to Denmark, to live in her ancestral castle “Rungstedlund” she started writing stories.
She had an adventure to relay.
So that is, to my understanding the way to make art. You find something in your own life to express in a beautiful way. Your hopes, your realizations, your dreams.
The greatest danger, apart from having a life that needs inspiring, is if you fall for the political conmen.
John Lennon expressed some ideals, that he had no idea about the content about. That was what got him killed. Michael Jackson got into the higher hemisphere of politics, that finished him as well, he couldn’t handle it.
When you as an artist try to be political without the faintest idea about the theories of politics, you often end up being a target of some kind of enemies that you have no idea how to handle.
So beware of politics, you have to know what you are doing.
Yet, being an artist gives you a platform for Change. YOU can make a better world.
Inspire people to do good, share, be communal.
I truly believe, as Hillary Clinton, that a healthy society starts with a healthy family that lives in a healthy town that is in a healthy state.
Health being the sum of harmony and joy we share.
Sing to that, the unity of a country, and you will have done something beautiful.
The singers of yore knew these tunes, and they sang them with a lot of love.
G-d bless the will to do good with the voice you have.
I think now when we are in THREE elections in the West, the UK, France and the US a more thorough discussion on economy makes sense.
Let’s have a look at it.
Economy really means householding. Economy is the Greek word for householding.
This essentially means keeping the budgets, not overspending and, ideally, put a little to the side to save for a rainy day.
So as a politician this is really what is expected, to be able to keep the budget.
If there is a debt, a good politician is rewarded, if he is able to bring the debt down.
This however ties in to what the politicians are using the money on. Either welfare or guns.
In peacetime we can use a lot of money on welfare, but in wartime we use our moneys on guns. So war is very unpopular.
The citizens accept it as a necessary evil, but they do not like it.
Sometimes you have to fight, and you have to be prepared. But it is only if you can’t avoid it.
Then there is the whole discussion on progressive tax, that is about making equality that creates harmony in a society, because a very hierarchical society often creates a lot of unrest. Harmony.
But keeping the budgets and bringing down the debt, without hurting the weakest of our society and at the same time keeping a strong army is a very difficult balance to make.
That is the basics of national economy.
G-d bless the will to make fair and efficient nation states of Europe and the US.
G-d bless the will to make peace and still be very strong.
The connection between Denmark, England, even Scotland, Wales, Ireland and the US is a long and historic relationship.
In terms of poetic platonic love I guess that this is not the first time we have been there. Wolfgang Von Goethe was a romantic in the platonic mold, and he made a HUGE impression on the entire European culture in his time.
It sparked a whole epoch called romanticism that we REALLY held on to here in Denmark. When Germany travelled on in what we saw as gold rationalism Søren Kierkegaard made his own philosophical school called existialism. It was a Socratic defense of faith and G-d. This lead to Denmark being a bastion of spirituality in Europe, philosophically. When Niels Bohr went to the US and made the nuclear bomb, he concluded it with a famous letter to the UN where he argued for openness (what ultimately created the internet) this he did because he was friends with K.E. Løgstrup who was the leading theologian philosopher of his time here in Denmark.
So LØGSTRUP had this beautiful understanding of love, that might rhyme with the Americans and the Brits.
He held the strong belief, that when we have someone we love, we hold that heart in our hands. We are DEPENDENT on each other. That dependence gives us a moral obligation to protect that heart. We get a very great task as soon as someone falls in love with us. We have to protect that heart. Because as one of our singers said after that heart doesn’t carry any weapons.
In other words in a relation, we are so dependent on our spouse to be careful, because we are so exposed.
Realizing this basic condition to our love lives is a way to really realize the responsibility we have towards each other.
Often we hurt those we love the most, because those we love the most are the most exposed.
We should understand this, and turn our attention to it, and protect those feelings that our best friend has to us.
It is difficult in a life that is often riddled with ups and downs.
Life is not easy for anyone. Though if we get it right, the RELATION, and start protecting that heart that is given to to protect. We at least get that right.
Denmark, the UK, America is essentially the same Anglo Saxon culture.
My surname Engberg is a name my family got from Angels here in Denmark. Engberg is a small mound in Angels.
Yet, there is a deep difference in the cultures. Danish culture is essentially masochistic I think.
We always punish our greatest thinkers. Like in the ugly duckling, where poor Hans Christian Andersen were abhorred and picked on. Or Kierkegaard, the great defender of Lutheran faith in the face of secularism, he got the ice treatment. Me, I am as abhorred as I am loved here in Denmark. They love me, and yet nobody must know. It’s just so, I don’t know, old I guess and ancient and deep yet not always positive.
At the other end of the spectrum there is America, burning the midnight oil of true idealism and striving for the shared dream of unity and ethics. You are so young compared to us Danes. So full of joy and spirit. We are deep and mysterious, you are fighting for the thrilling dawn.
In the Middle there is England, the land of velvet meadows. Mysterious in its own mix of the ancient Gaelic powerstones, the deep seated Roman philosophy, permeating the land. And the brutal memories of Danish warriors who destroyed and fought like Vikings of old.
This amalgament of thought, idealism, deep seated pain is what brings beautiful dreams to the fore. Like the dreams of unconditional love and spiritual grace.
This is what we should put in our shared destiny and write stories about.
Stories of windswept sailors, bridging the abyss of sea to reach the abode where the beauty lie in her glory.
Things like that, dreams of both glory, idealism, spirit and let those plans and poetry lift us all to a place of joy and camaraderie.
Let’s do that.
G-d bless the will to find dreams to elevate us all. G-d bless the good we share and give for fellowship and wonder and joy.
Ok, I have been pondering how to make a Hollywood movie.
We could do it this way; a lot of the ideas that I have for eternal love and as a consequence of this family and community, is very much a part of the whole catholic renaissance.
The Catholic Church rests on, for a large part, platonism in the metaphysical realm.
A lot of the explanations of G-d has, traditionally, been of Plato.
We have been into these discussions for quite some time, and it has brought a lot of success to the Catholic Church. People are finding faith again.
So why not make this into a Hollywood film?
We could combine the metaphysical discussions with a true love story.
The Anglican Church could be a part of it as well, and we could all do it together?
Well, there is only one viable solution to the Haredi conflict, and the consequent split between the religious and the secular parts of Israel. That is to make a royal institution, that will have sway over the legislative and military forces of Israel.
The armies of Israel should be able to confer the power of the royal house in battle.
It does already in a sense, but it should be made into institutions.
In this way, we will solve the problem with religious Jews unable to fight in the secular army.
We could maybe work on some legions loyal to the crown and some legions loyal to the secular, democratic parts of Israel. But usually the armed forces are, traditionally, an arm of the crown. This is happening in Denmark, the UK, Spain that I know of.
So, that is really the only true answer to the problem.
If we can make it work, I do think we should start to discuss.
It’s the only way for Israel to survive on the long run.
I have given some thought to the whole Hollywood princess drama that has kind of happened lately.
I love films. To me films are a multilayered artistic expression. I have been a writer for many years, I started as a musician and then I was a dancer.
These are individual genres of artistic expression.
Until a little over a year ago, I had a tv station. So that was ok, but it was limited in terms of budgeting. I had to do EVERYTHING myself, from the interviews to filming to editing.
It was a success, but I have really wanted to expand on that and actually get a real budget and start working on all the internal genres that are within film. Each part of a film is a genre in itself. Editing is a genre, the music of the film is a genre. The drama is a genre.
Making good and deep characters is a skill set.
With my work on gender, and the mission of reuniting the world with platonic romance, this really makes sense to do in a Hollywood set.
I mean, if there is one place in the world where all the platonic virtues of love is really idealized, it is really Hollywood.
That is why Hollywood is so enamored by this whole process of giving a rebirth to platonic romance.
I mean, let’s do it.
G-d bless the will to save the world with true and everlasting platonic love. ❤️
If we look at the doom and gloom that is produced in the Israeli war, one thing is the ability to win the war, another thing is the possibility of loosing Israel as a safe haven for Jews.
Which one is the most important?
The true difference between loosing the war and keeping Israel alive lies in the amount of honor that is in the war.
We will have more wars in the Middle East, that is how things are in the Middle East and has always been.
Yet this war if we loose, will mean loss of honor. For Israel and for Mr. Netanyahu.
If we loose the conservative government will be mentioned as a complete failure.
So that will tarnish the legacy of Mr. Netanyahu.
But as Cicero says, who cares about honor in two generations.
Nobody will care.
What often seem as very important right now, is soon forgotten.
That is just how humans work, we are fickle in remembering honor.
What does have more implications that the honor in a few generations is the ability for Israel to survive.
We may have to wait another three thousand years for another shot at that.
So to me, there is really no question. Israel has to survive that is, by all means, the only true goal of the war right now.
Getting the hostages home is almost as important. But surviving as a state is more important.
G-d bless the will for Israel to survive, and may we bless the will to find peace in the end.
Ok, let’s see if we can figure this peace deal out.
At one hand, Hamas wants a permanent ceasefire to accept the deal. This is essentially motivated by a wish to survive. They are saying; we will hand over the hostages, if we get to survive.
At the other hand. Mr. Netanyahu says, that he will make a deal, but he will destroy Hamas. So that is why we are not getting a deal. Each side simply do not want to move on the basic premises.
Now however, for some reason Mr. Smotrich has really surprised me, and has taken my point on repatriation of the Gazan Arabs, by their own choice. I mean that is actually the best idea so far.
If Hamas and the rest of the Gazans simply move out of Gaza, and settle somewhere else, the problem would be solved.
So I must say, that Mr. Smotrich has actually made some of the best moves in terms of ideas.
I have somehow sparked a debate in gender and romance in a greater part of the Western world. It started with the princess, and it seems to have spread to all the princesses of Hollywood and beyond.
Princesses are princesses I guess.
I know it from my days as a dancer. Princesses are princesses, they dream of the knight on the white horse, and to be honest, that is good.
The ideal of the knight, the selfsacrifising warrior who protects the weak. Loving one of those is not a bad thing at all.
Yet, being a princess is a lot more than a pretty smile, it’s a life of virtue, and being a mirror of the knight with the shining armor.
You do not get true and deep love, unless you have a certain array of qualities yourself.
In these days of gender discussion and a lot of trenchwarfare, these qualities are quite rare in both man and woman. So a lot of women go about looking for the knight, and yet never finds him. Why? Becuase they can only attract a true knight, if they are a true princess.
Now, dont get me wrong, I am not against modern values. I have myself fought a long fight to protect women. I was a part of making a vast array of laws to protect women against harassment and rape in the night life.
My point is, if you look too long at the fight, that is all that you get. You HAVE to foster the good values and virtues of a princess to ALSO find the prince.
It is a balance. At one end, we have to protect things that has to do with gender. Men are also weak in some areas, especially when it comes to divorce and children.
These fights are for the men to take. I support this as well.
Yet at the middle of these fights is the healthy, good and happy marriage with a chosen in your life.
That comes about, if you are ready for it, and can handle the challenges that comes about with this.
If we become and nurture our inner prince and princess chances are, that we get at happy life.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world, and find a chosen for each of us.
Ok, so we are nearing the end of the Rafah op. Then what. I get it, that we are defending ourselves north and south, that is all good. The fights there will be relatively easy. Hezbollah are in no way as dug in as Hamas, so there will be some easy wins there as well. If the fight goes all the way to Iran, that is not as easy, but it is possible to fight that fight.
So, that is good.
Yet, what about Gaza?
G-d bless the will to fight this fight and end up in peace.
Well when we talk about economy, or rather state economy, there are a lot of answers to the question; how do we create jobs and money for the country.
At the heart of question lies the answer, that it is made by two general factors. First it is about the workethics of the citizens. They can be either hardworking or lazy. The Chinese are, traditionally, very hardworking due to the philosophy of the Chinese philosopher Confucius, combined with a rigorous school system that really brings out the best in people, and makes sure that talent rise to prominent positions of the societies. Something we could learn from in the West, where talent are often persecuted and put down.
In the North we have, traditionally, worked based on the work ethics of Luther, that were a munk before he became the changer of the Northern societies. This is still the back bone of northern business ethos.
Secondly it is about the ease of innovation. How may we do new ideas. This requires a good support of innovation, new business ideas and so on. Something the US is really good at with all their business angels and general freedom of business.
So that is the base.
On top of this, there are a number of manipulations you can do to FOSTER the attitude of production. You can make it more easy to innovate, and you can give those who are effective and successful some kind of recognition.
The last is the base of what Mr. Biden does right now. He calls it Bidennomics, which is unfair, it should be called Asgernomics. But that is all ok.
So Asgernomics is to recognize patriotic production. It works. It is behind the rise of American production.
We however have to compete with China, that has its own set of strengths, that they are all alleviating quite successful.
G-d bless the will to make a more prosperous France, UK and US.
Ok these are the two REAL goals, that we are working on.
1. Get the hostages home
2. Make sure, that Gaza is not a threat to the Israeli civilians anymore.
Hamas is just one organizations out of many in Gaza, so targeting them solely, does not make much sense, if we want to make sure the 7’october does not happen again. It’s because Hamas is just a current manifestation of the proxy war we are fighting. There will be other manifestations, if we do not make sure, that we stop the ABILITY of Gazan Arabs to hurt Israelis.
So if we broaden the aims to incorporate ALL of Gazans, then we will make sure, that in the future we will be safe.
The hows and whys is probably up to a new government, since the current government is really tied to the current aims.
But a new government can set new goals, that are essentially much more future proof.
G-d bless the will to make sure, that 7’th of October does not happen again, and may we have peace, with internal respect.
I think, that instead of fighting the national agenda of each member country of the European Union, a much smarter strategy would be to work WITH the European countries.
Both on a federal as well as on a national level the state has its strengths and weaknesses.
Finding what works best on each level is a part of finding peace between the national and federal level.
That would mean, that all in all, Europe would be much stronger.
G-d bless the will to find a positive way in Europe without total chaos.
The basic danger of the current war, is the danger of loosing sight of what we are doing.
A fight can end up being an end in itself.
Right now we are fighting in Gaza, and there is a storm brewing with Hezbollah.
Yet, why? Why do we do it?
We do it, to get the hostages home. Yet, this goal seems to get further and further away, as we fight. We could just finish the war, make a cease fire, and get the hostages home. So there are other alternatives.
This again will mean, that we have to accept that Hamas gets to survive in some form.
But what is it we want to make happen to Hamas. Hamas is a part of the Muslim Brotherhood, that is not disappearing any time soon. It is still too dug in in Egypt, and is a world spanning movement.
So, where does Hamas start and where does it end?
The basic problems here seems to me, that we have set too simple goals in a sense.
Getting the hostages back is off cause a viable and ultimate goal we all agree upon, but destroying Hamas. It sounds simple, but the fact of the matter is, that it is not simple.
Getting Hamas out of Gaza is more applicable. That we could do, but would that even make sense? Just because Hamas is removed from Gaza, does not mean that Gaza will be peaceful.
There has been a number of movements in Gaza that was not Hamas, and they were all dreaming of the destruction of Israel.
So what we SHOULD do, is REASSESS our goals. Discuss them, and then act on a more refined, realistic set of goals.
One of the major strength of a national oriented political movement, is the fact, that most business owners are very patriotic.
This means, that getting the business environment to actually make things, create jobs and support the Nation is really easy. This again filters into the discussion on jobs. Industrial, blue collar jobs are the real jobs in terms of creating a viable job culture. For each worker there are maybe two or three teachers, lawyers, administrators and so on.
The point is, working class jobs are really valuable to the entire economy.
This may be an idea for the French election to boost it?
Well we are heading for the end of the Rafah op. I dont know, if it will end the war. It could. I mean, what are the arguments for continuing the war right now?
Is it to get Hamas, an objective that has eluded Israel, is it to get the hostages, another objective that has eluded Israel.
To be honest, we are close, again, to lose all our allies. When that happens, if it happens, then Israel will be alone in a sea of murder and violence.
Are we ready to be in that position?
One of the truths of fighting is, that you do not always win. You win most of the time, if you are really good. But sometimes you loose, if you are in a situation, where you are weak.
The thing is, that in the Gaza war, we are making war in a terrain that is not to our advantage. Our tanks are like tubs floating above a dangerous reef.
Probably if the war ends, it will also be the end of the reign of mr. Netanyahu.
So there is that. Mr. Netanyahu is a friend of mine, so this is not easy.
We are still kind of walking on the brink of the abyss, and we need to get to a clear place, where we are safe.
G-d bless the will to be safe in this world of danger.
So, I have just applied for the Sheik Zayed sustainable prize. It is a very prestigious prize that elevates sustainability to I high level.
We have, to be honest, very little chance to beat all the other contestants. They are all industry leading behemoths of sustainability, and we are just the David of the whole application environment.
So, I hope, that a true intention in meeting over the aisle can actually further the peace and tolerance of the Middle East.
It is not so, that we HAVE to fight, there are actually a way of tolerance as well, highlighting the founder of the prize Sheik Zayed values.
We are proposing a plan to plant trees in the desert, so to make it green, and capture the imagination of the Arabs to something green and lush.
To do this, we are working together.
G-d bless the will to find peace in the Middle East through tolerance and understanding. May we finally be in respect.
One of the things, that European companies can help the world with is actually Green Change. I have been working on a fine project, that combines the skill of Europe with the dreams of the Middle East. Making the desert a forest.
Here the EU HAS a lot of skill it can actually make work.
I think, that one of the ways that the federal level of the European Union can make sense to the citizens of Europe, is if it actually REPRESENT European values and virtues.
As a way to grasp that, I have written my new book “Eden”, that focuses on these basic virtues, as a kind of primer to get to a more fair, just, loving and wise way of doing things.
So, if you want to really delve into the nitty gritty parts of the discussion on European values, take a look at the book. I promise you, it is worth your money.
G-d bless the will to do good, thing good and do good deeds.
I have been an adamant supporter of Israel for my whole life. I am a zionist and Jew, and I truly see Israel as the last refuge for Jews who are persecuted, like myself.
So, whatever I do is to keep Israel alive.
So, the discussion right now is; why is it, that Israel has a bad image in the world?
The reason is really quite obvious. People all around the world are not stupid, they can see a war for what it is. Sometimes the propaganda is really working in high gear, and the population will fall in line. Often though that is just because they are afraid to go against the official stance of their government.
So people are not stupid, and there are a lot of these “independent” new agencies of the blogger kind.
So how do you then work a war in a very transparent world? You do it be being MORE ethical than your opponent. You make sure, that civilians are out of harms way, especially children. You do not rape anyone and so on.
Photo opportunities are very important, in the sense, that you must avoid doing anything that will put you in a bad picture.
Now almost 40.000 Palestinian Arab have died, compared to a much lower number of Israeli. So just by this count, who is the bad guy?
A massive part of the houses of Gaza has been demolished and so on.
I am not saying, that the IDF did not take care, what I am saying is, that if you look at the numbers objectively, the Gazan Arabs have suffered more than Israeli. And I of cause I sympathize with the Israeli more or less living in a shelter all the time.
That is not the point, the point is, that the Palestinian Arabs have suffered MORE than Israeli.
This again is because the IDF is fighting a war on the surface of Gaza, while as the Hamas fighters are living in the tunnels. So the bombs and ordnance is destroying the houses above ground and not the tunnels.
So, you can make as much PR you want, if the battlefield is conducted with no regard to the media, it does not matter. That is exactly the problem.
The war never was intended to be a material war in tandem with a media war. So we loose in the media war.
Hamas however have always fought both wars simultaneously, often they have been MORE concerned with the media war than the real war, making Potemkin facades, some call it Palliwood, for the staged pictures.
THAT is one of the reasons I have proposed that we move the civilians out of harms way. Not only because that is the most humane, but also because that would be the most smart move in the mediawar.
This was not listened to by the current leadership. That is ok, I do not have any practical power.
But if you do not think in both wars in once, you loose. That is one of the reasons why we are loosing right now.
At the other hand, we will survive, as things stand. We will survive with most of our alliances intact, and we will be able to rebuild after the war.
You may take this for granted, but the wise reader would have remembered a month ago, when we were at the brink of the abyss, and I called all hold. If we had not stopped there, we would have lost all our allies, and then Israel would have been finished.
Also, a few weeks ago, our Arab allies were almost pulling out, I use my own political capital to buy us a few more weeks.
That is where we are.
All around the world, people see this as a fact, and are all just waiting for a negotiation to finish the war.
Hamas is there, they are open on it, but mr. Gvir and mr. Smotrich who are the ones to set the initial goals I think, are against it.
My advice, let’s cut our losses, and rebuild.
I know, that a loss is a massive defeat, and we are not used to that. But that is how the world is made. When you fight, you win some, and you loose some.
It gives you humility to loose, and that is all fine. Winning is not the true aim of a life, LIVING is the true aim of life. Having an existence that is sustainable.
We are EXTREMELY dependent on good strategists to win our wars.
Right now, unfortunately, and this is not pointing fingers, but saying out the obvious, we do not work with a good strategy, because we are not COMBINING the media war with the ground war.
The media war is the most important for a small country like ours.
G-d bless the will for Israel to survive, and may we prosper at the other end of this horrible war, G-d bless the peace we will eventually find.
All right, I have been pretty much in the conservative camp for the last few month, but it seems to me, that they are not really serious about the relationship with me.
Anyway, I truly believe, that we should see things also from a liberal perspective if we want the conflicts that are in our world to work out.
Not least the European Union. The principle of migration that I presented a week ago seems to me integrated into that French election, so that remains to be seen. How will it work?
Probably very good, and it should have been the base of the Gaza war, anyway that is not the way it is.
So, we also need to have a look at the power struggle that is between the national as well as the federal level.
Where do we find the sweet spots, and where are the red buttons.
So, this is where I will focus in the close future, and get closer to the EU in that process.
G-d bless the will to be realistic with our development.
So, we are, kind of, starting to discuss the blame of the 7 th October. At least mr. Netanyahu has started to point to the secret service not giving him a fair warning.
This may be, and honestly we are all to blame. But it points to the end of the war.
I do believe, that the unity we had in the beginning has run out, and it gives us a pretty dangerous situation. The right is very idealistic in one direction, and the left is kind of left out.
We have to find some kind of middle ground.
That is why I written the book “Eden”, that is an attempt at a discussion of the Israeli state.
We HAVE to be able to discuss how we find some kind of middle ground.
I know, that that role of keeping everybody in the middle is mine really, and that is not easy.
Anyway, as we end the war, there will be a discussion on who to blame, and HOPEFULLY also a constructive discussion on a positive path for Israel after the war.
G-d bless the will to find a positive way for Israel.
Ok, the current leadership of the Israeli government really got annoyed with me for telling the plain truth.
If you have fought in the same way for so many months, have made a Rafah op, that has exactly the same result as the first 8 months, you have to accept the simple fact, that the strategy does not work.
I mean, since the war is led in exactly the same way, by ground troops, supported by tanks in a city that relies on tunnels, there is really no development in the siege.
Why? Because Hamas is not living above ground, they are living in the tunnels.
So unless there is a way to dismantle the tunnels, we can go on for ever.
That is exactly what will happen, the war will go on and on and on. Lives will be lost, and we will still not be any closer to winning.
I am not saying this to discourage the leadership of Israel, I am simply stating a pretty obvious fact. I have another way, that to move all the civilians out of Gaza, and then just leave Gaza, more or less as it is. The conflict would, at least, move in an another direction.
So, it is not that I believe we couldn’t have won the war, it could perhaps be done, but as long as we continue the same strategy, we will have the same outcome.
I mean, it is not rocket science.
So, either find an another way to fight, or give up.
There is no other real way, I am sorry. But soldiers lives are lost each day, and we are not getting any closer to the goals.
G-d bless the will to do something else, at least.
Ok, things are looking REALLY terrible from an Israeli perspective. I am not saying that, to demoralize the IDF, I wish it was different, and it is really not the fault of the army.
The reason is the terrain, the tunnels beneath Gaza are impenetrable with the weapons we have today. I used to champion a tunnel drone, and we did make one, but I guess, it didn’t work or came out of use.
The fact of the ground however is, that as long as the tunnels are still active, we can’t get Hamas all put down, and we can’t get to the remaining hostages.
So, there is only one other option left. That is to stop the war, make a cease fire, and make a deal with Hamas.
This again means, that a lot of the initial goals of destroying Hamas will not come to pass.
Again, I destroyed ISIS, so I know what a victory is. It is to never have to worry about that threat again.
However, right now we are loosing lives every day almost, and we are getting virtually nowhere in terms of getting closer to the goals
So, we can draw things out, or realize that we have lost, and spare lives.
Those are really our only options, horrific as it is.
G-d bless the will to spare the lives of those soldiers who are now lost, and may we have peace.
Ok, just to clarify. The principle of citizenship is not conservative or liberal, it is a principle that can be either.
You can have a very liberal stance on citizenship, that is everybody can be citizens. Or you can have a very conservative stance on citizenship, that is, that no-one can be citizens.
So instead of making a political stance, my point is, that it is a TOOL you can use, to either be liberal or conservative.
This makes the tool quite flexible, and can be used in many occasions.
It is not easy, and you have to be very strict to make it work, but it actually does work here in Denmark.
Add to this it is fair to consider, that there are certain cultural principles you have to respect when you come to a new place.
With this you have a formula, that will work either way.
G-d bless the will to make a new tool in the debate of migration, and make it absolutely fair.
Well, I do believe, that one of the main challenges of the European Union, and also the United States of America, is the discussion on migration.
At one hand, we have the idea, that we are all equal under the law, at the other end, there is the idea of race.
For a long time, unfortunately we have focused all on race and not on rights of the citizen.
The left have wanted to mix races, and the right have wanted to keep the races pure.
The issue is, that this is really a false dichotomy. There is no such thing as more races within the family of man. There is only one race, and that is man.
That is really the fact of the matter. So mixing races or keeping the races pure is not really a valid argument.
So, we need to hark to other principles to understand what is on the line.
Here I have pointed to the rights of the citizen and also the duty of the citizen to follow the rules.
Civil rights of both ways.
To have civil rights, one needs to understand those democratic ideas, and then actually also be faithful to them.
Also, there is a very important virtue of each citizen. A Democracy can only work, if the citizens accepts and support said Democracy.
So in effect, you have to RESPECT the secular laws, to be a citizen.
If we work with this principle we steer clear of all the problems with speaking about race. It is equally poisonous on each side, and should be avoided. Talking about civil rights is much more sound.
There are peoples, and some of them have states, but this is still not the same as race.
G-d bless the will to be clear about the rules of a Democracy, and may we find a true, positive path.
The new anglican communion is under way, and what a beautiful moment! I had no idea, that we are moving forward with some of the perspectives I have had. Mainly the fact, that science and religion is no more separate.
The job that I have done, merging metaphysics and physics again, is now a part of the religious communities.
How wonderful.
This will lead to much more of faith in the churches, and then also thereby will STRENGTHEN the religious communities.
So have a wonderful Lambeth conference!
G-d bless the will to strengthen religion, and may we all, by that, have faith.
Ok, just for your information, my own life has kind of turned around in a sense.
The persecution has, more or less, come to stop, and I am able to look forward.
It is due to a number of reasons. First of all, the current PM, who were the woman behind the persecution, is finally getting out of Danish politics, and therefor she is not able to pull so many strings to make me suffer.
This is not to throw stones, just to explain what is going on.
Secondy my economy is stabilized due to a job I have, that I am quite happy with.
So, things should move forward from hereon. What that means, I have no idea, but from a spiritual perspective, it at least means, that the spiritual support I can give Israel will be steadfast.
G-d bless the will to be clear of persecution and in line with good in this world.
I just want to be clear about the whole discussion on the EU in relation to the peace negotiations of the Israel/Gaza war.
The EU has rejected all the ideas and projects I have had with them. This includes the Middle East dialogue project that I send to them.
Why they have done so, I have no idea. I think it is because they disagreed with the peace process I have stood for.
This means, that if we end up with a peace, that is based on my work, the EU have, for some reason or other, simply opted out.
Now we are looking at the new EU parliament, and the new balance that ms. Le Pen and Geert Wilders is presenting, which is, more or less, based on the ideas that I came up with after the Mohammed cartoon crisis. That is pro Israel, pro democracy, not racist, anti islamist, is in control.
I will not be the one to rock the EU. I will try, to the best of my ability to play a constructive role, and analyze the situation, so that the political parties may find a way to figure things out.
However, after having had rejected all my projects, as it stands, I am solely supported by the conservatives/communists.
They are really who keep me alive these days.
G-d bless the will to make a better and more simple yet good world.
Ok, so we are getting closer to some kind of deal?
I believe that the deal that is on the table, is flexible, realistic and gives the necessary room for negotiations.
The thing is, the outcome is pretty much defined already. So in a way, we are going through the normal steps of moving towards each other, we all know, that the aim is peace, and the priorities on each side is pretty clear.
Hamas wants to survive, and Israel wants peace and security guarantees.
There is still the aim of destroying Hamas totally. I get it, it’s an aim. I actually managed to destroy ISIS.
The issue is, that we are in a bad strategic situation, due to the terrain we are fighting in, aka the tunnels.
So that aim is very difficult to reach.
Now, in any negotiation each side has to make concessions, and the concessions are pretty clear.
Hamas needs to give up the hostages, Israel needs to accept that Hamas gets to survive.
These are kind of the basic priorities of each side.
Now, Hamas is a part of ISIS at least ideologically, so it’s not that I can’t see the problems with Hamas, I can.
However, compared to ISIS that was just a genocidal apocalyptic Muslim movement, Hamas HAS a claim against colonialism, and that makes Hamas different from ISIS.
Anyway, we will see how the negotiations will proceed.
It is going to be painful for Israel to go through these negotiations.
So, that is a consideration.
G-d bless the will to find peace in the Israeli/Gazan war.
Happy birthday Sasha, I didn’t notice, that it was your birthday yesterday, sorry about that. I have been kind of watching you and Malia over the years, being friends with your parents.
You seem to have all the qualities of both your dad and mother. Such a fine young woman!
You have a bright future ahead of you. So just to give you my “uncle” advice for you to maybe use on your path.
Always try to be a part of your local community. It may not be the most illustrious or fancy compared to all the blitz and high level attention you can get on the international scene.
You do not find love or purpose on the international scene, you find it in your local community.
That is where your dad got it, as a community organizer.
Its like Joe as well, he got it in his moms kitchen, watching people fighting for a pay check.
Its places like that, where real dedication and life´s purpose are found.
So, it’s good to have a good education, but the real lifes education comes after, when you try and go out and do things for other people. Helping, supporting.
Real life experience is where you really learn. Learn the true suffering of those who have little, see the struggle they go through to keep a roof over their heads and keep their children fed.
That is what life is about, making those around you thrive and feel that they matter.
So that is my life advice. Your mum and dad went that path, and I think that is where they got their best education.
G-d bless your 23 birthday, and may you have so many more years of prosperity and joy.
Ok, this is just an excuse. I think I managed to insult mr. Smotrich and mr. Gvir, by saying, that they were not on my wagon. That was really stupid, I accept that I am not in control of everything, and I am a religious zionist myself, so in fact agree with like 80 % of the views of the two good men. Where we differ is essentially on execution, I truly believe, that we could have done this war without bloodshed, if we had practiced some of the remigration ideas I have, we could have rescued everybody with little harm to anyone, and the Arab Palestinian would have been safe as well.
But on the integrity of Israel, we absolutely agree.
Sorry guys, my mistake.
G-d bless the unity of Israel and may we persevere.
So, the political landscape has REALLY changed all of a sudden.
What is going on?
Well, some of the basic challenges of 20´th century philosophy is confronted by a new political class. The new right. That is Ms. Le Pen, Geert Wilders and so on.
In the US it is Trump and in Israel it USED to be mr. Netanyahu until he decided to go with mr. Smotrich and mr. Ben Gvir.
In the UK it is mr. Sunak and in the US it is ALSO mr. Biden.
So what does it come down to?
It comes down to a recalibration of the current philosophical make up, that has, more or less, been unchanged since the Second World War. It has been kind of degraded in the US, where mr. Adorno had a beautiful, humanistic, spiritual, individual fight against Nazism.
Today this has become Woke. That is what happens if you look too long into the darkness, you become like it. The virulent, race, mysogenistic ideas of Hitler has morphed into the OPPOSITE of nazism. That is a virulent, race based ideology that sees race mixing as the goal of its political aim. Same, same just with different outcomes.
Just to underscore it, I have absolutely nothing against minorities, Jews of gays. I however do not think we should make everybody Jew and gay. Most people should live in sound communities with great family values and go to either the church, synagogue or mosque to keep the families together.
BUT, we should leave room for those who are different and have either problems with their sexuality, or belong to a a religious minor trend as I do, being a Jew.
The majority should really remain in their sound villages and be content in them.
Then, this new trend all comes down to migration.
This is a trend that comes off of, again, bad philosophy.
It is really Marx, that believes in a borderless world, where all workers unite.
Now, that is a great ideal, and in fact, I have been rooting for that ideal for a long time. This is really what is behind my advice to Obama and Biden, to root for the blue collar workers, who have been left in the dark.
Especially mr. Biden has been doing this, and it has become a whole economy called Bidenomics.
However, there is a flaw in the construct of Karl Marx ideas, in fact there are a number of flaws in his ideas. Being his heir, I find it fair, to revise his ideas, where they do not work.
We are in the same line of Jewish philosophers who originate from the town Trier in southern Germany. Ok, I am Danish, so I am also the heir to Kierkegaard, who is the spiritual opposition to German rationalism.
But I RECOGNIZE my own roots.
So, let me try to explain.
There was a town, or there is a town called Tyre in Lebanon. This town is the ancient hometown of the Phoenicians. A culture that has spanned multiple millennia.
The Phoenicians were a people without an army. And they were extremely rich due to their prowess in the area of the mercantile. They are the original capitalists.
So their problem was, that due to their richness, the warring tribes around them, continuously raided them, and took their wealth. It came to a point, where it was all expected, and the Phoenicians, planned for it, rebuilding their town very fast, thereby the idea behind the bird Phoenix, rising from the ashes.
Eventually they became too tired of the issue, so they build an almost impregnable fort in the middle of the sea. Tyre became a fortified city that could almost only be reached by boat. It held for thousands of years, only Alexander the Great conquered it, and that was the most difficult city he ever conquered, and he was known for his prowess in siege fights.
When Lycurgus made the Spartan constitution, that is the blueprint for socialism, he knew Tyre, and my theory it, that he modeled the Spartan society over the idea of making an impregnable fort. Because Tyre was THE example of a town (polis) that had stood for thousands of years.
So he made the constitution to be 100% closed to outsiders.
The community (communism) was a closed loop, for 700 years.
So this loops back to the discussion on community. If the original example of Sparta was Tyre, and Lycurgus made the constitution of Sparta 100 % closed, then how come we have open borders?
This is due to the fact, that that is the flaw in the system. A community needs borders to work.
This however does not mean, that we have to be racists, that is actually a whole other thing in itself.
The left however needs to realize, that community and border are part of the same equation.
Now, the Phoenicians, were actually the globe trotters of the ancient world. They were everywhere. So being international does not mean that you have to be mysogenistic and racist. You however need to support your community.
A sound community will have the ability to open its arms for newcomers, but an unhealthy community will not take in newcomers, it will segregate into subcommunities of different variation. Pitchfights will ensue, and the trenches will be dug deeper. This is what is happening in Europe right now, attacks on migrants from the original people of the country, and vice versa.
The community is too weak to make any coherence.
This is problem that the citizens of Europe, wants the politicians to solve, and then that falls back on me, because the politicians rely on philosophers to tackle their problems.
So this is really the essence of the problem.
This again, is not a call for a race war, but a realistic analysis of the problems we face.
G-d bless the will to look at the problems we face, without falling into the trap of mud slinging.
As a way to try and make rubicon.dk more of my main focus, I am working on a kind of professionalization of the blog.
When the blog began almost 15 years ago, Google had just started, and Facebook didn’t even exist.
In other words, it has been the same for a long time.
The subjects have changed, but the frame around it, has been the same all the time.
A project that is unfunded is however very difficult to maintain, so in order for the blog to continue living, it has to be professionalized, but off cause in a way that it is made better.
So I am working on making a way to sell my books a bit smoother, and make the blog Google friendly and so on.
All in all, if all things go right, the blog will grow in a positive way, have more readers, more income and so on.
The content will be the same, so there is not change there. It is just the ability to make money on the content that will change.
So we all need money to sustain our lives, and as long as the things I sell here are positive things, like books and other extra items, it will be a positive development.
G-d bless the will to make Rubicon.dk sustainable.
Ok, let’s have a look at the current dealings from a Palestinian Arab perspective.
What is really wrong?
What is wrong is the ORIGINAL sin made by some of the first settlers of Israel. They purged the land of Arabs by doing all kinds of nastiness.
Poisoning wells, driving the Arabs out of their homes. Most ended up either in the West Bank or Gaza.
That is REALLY the root of the matter. The heirs to that crime are the freedom fighters in the tunnels, they are fighting to right that wrong.
So, to make a peace deal, that will actually meet the true needs of the Arabs, this injustice has to be met from the Israeli side.
How to you do that? You do it by COMPENSATING the Palestinian Arabs. Paying money for the land that was stolen, giving back some of the land, and so on.
That is the only way, that we get to the root of the problem.
Add to this, make some PRACTICAL installations in Gaza, so that the Palestinian Arabs are truly independent. We have done that in the US by making som extra laws for the territories where Indians live and so on.
The US knows how this is done.
If we do that, we right the basic wrong.
G-d bless the will to find a way to end this horrible war, and the injustice done in the past.
One of the things, that I have noticed in my life of late, is the fact that somehow my person has been entered into the celebrities of the world.
I have a lot of women hitting me on Facebook.
So, you know, that is fine and all. To have beautiful women hitting on one, is truly a privilege. But, there is a deeper truth to what is happening, that I think is really positive.
We have just been through a Meetoo movement, where the trenches were dug deeper inbetween man and woman. This thing that is happening now, is a step in the other direction. Dont get me wrong, I am very dedicated to my ideals, and the girl I have found. I am with her. It’s just that, I can see, that it creates a trend, that is truly positive.
Men do not seem to have picked up on it yet. But when they do, we will have a world, where Meetoo and gender wars will be supplanted with knights in shining armor and princesses of beauty and strength.
I believe in equality. A harmonious relationship can only come through equal means.
So essentially the platonic romanticism that I believe in, is a new way of finding relations and love.
It goes beyond the fights we have, and creates a path that does not cater to either of the old ways of either patriarchy or matriarchy but finds true balance and deep, sound emotions.
These days it is either on the premises of the man, or on the premises of the woman. It can be different, we can be harmonious, loved, cared for, have a friend for life, fight together.
That is the path I present. It is actually Platos ideas, and they are as sound and life giving today, as they were when he wrote them, not to mention, incredibly beautiful and wonderful.
We get to live a life of romance, instead of this fighting all the time.
G-d bless the romance we can find, if we do Plato, real Plato.
Ok, let’s see, if we can look a little down memory lane, and find some examples to learn from in our current situation.
What is Israel in a historical context?
Israel lies in the very birthcradle of civilization. Babylon or modern day Iraq is close, Lebanon or really Phoenicia is just besides, there is Egypt (still called Egypt) Hellas, Persia, Assyria and a few more countries that have essentially made modern day civilisation, that is rule of law, religion, commerce, and nation states.
In other words, it is a place of proud traditions, and rightfully so.
Israel is in the middle of it all. To the north there were the powerful Assyrian kingdoms that later became Persia, in the south there is Egypt and the Arab countries.
So whenever a pharaoh wanted to honor his ancestors by “smiting the enemies”, he went to in and around Israel to conquer it, smite a whole lot of enemies (that is running their chariots into them, and kill them in many other ways), and when the Assyrians had a powerful king, the smite went the other way. In other words, there was a whole lot of smiting going on in the ancient time.
The reason why Moses (an Egyptian prince) could realistically take Israel was because no one really had any control of the territory. That is the historical fact. Getting over Sinai and make the first monotheistic state is a testament to the sheer power of Moses, so it is not to say that Moses was not extremely powerful, its just that Israel was and is the borderland between the north and south.
Its a bit like Poland in Europe, always run over be either the Central European states or Russia. It is an essentially a borderstate, and carries all the characteristics of a border state.
Now, after all the warring in the ancient times, Israel was run over by Assyria, in one of the constant warring back and forth, and has not been made until now three thousand years after. But a lot of things have happened in the meantime.
First Alexander the Great conquered most of the Mediterranean and the states ended up being divided by his generals.
After that the Romans came, and conquered it all. We have a lot of lore coming from that time, not least the Christianity, that was the pushback of the Jews onto Rome.
It later became an integral part of Rome, and still is to this day.
Then the area was held by the East romans for a lot of time, until the time of Muslim conquest in the 600 hundreds. The Muslim conquest held a lot of different factions, so you can’t say Islam, there were the Muslims of the Arab countries, they are still with us to this day. There were the mongols, the Ottomans and the Persians.
As an interim, we had the crusaders, who went to Israel to take it, and did hold on to it for a few hundred years. It was a push back on the Muslim conquest from the northern Christian kingdoms, and it brought a lot of suffering to the Middle East, not least, because it had a lot of viking christians, and they are brutal.
The crusades were also brilliant and heroic, so it is not a simple picture. The point is, that Israel was AGAIN a piece in the politicking of the time.
So Europe had a long time of progress and uptick, that kind of culminated in the First World War, that was truly brutal. From there on, Europe has been in decline, there are signs, that things are turning, so there will be a turnaround.
The thing is, the current Israel is a realization of Western colonial power.
I know that it sounds awful in this day and age, but that is the truth. The US the same and Australia. They are all the result of British colonialism.
So since the colonialism has had a pushback, in the most brutal of ways, in especially Rhodesia/Zimbabwe where we saw cleansing of whites, the scales of kind of been rebalanced.
The colonizers have suffered a lot. So the claim of Hamas is, in this light, not the same as thirty years ago.
Anyway, the whole point of the discourse is, that Israel has ALWAYS been a part of a larger conflict. How long did we hold on to the territory in the first place 200 – 300 years?
That is not long compared to the other nations around is. Egypt is at least 5000 thousand years old.
So my point is, if you live in a borderland (as Denmark is doing) you need to be VERY good at diplomacy to survive. Denmark has survived for 5000 years, at least, due to our strength of arms and ability within diplomacy.
I mean, do you seriously believe that the small area that Israel is, will survive by itself?
We have to play the game, and right now, we are just chopping up all the political capital we have painfully gained over the lifetime of Israel on the hunt of Hamas.
It is all wrong, you do not win over a foe by going against it alone, you do it by making the right alliances, so that the ALLIANCE fights the enemy you have.
That is how you win wars, just to take diplomacy totally out of the equation makes no sense.
G-d bless the will to think clearly in this conflict.
Ok, this is how you may see the current peace negotiations.
There are essentially two opposite ways of humans to do things. The first is the way named by the Italian renaissance philosopher Machiavelli. His is the ultimate cynic. He has absolutely no illusions about human beings, they are not to be trusted, and it is better to kill them, so that you do not have any problems with them in the next generation.
At the other end of the spectrum, there is the Spartan way. Spartans were the ultimate pursuers of justice. In Sparta, law was above man, and no one would challenge the law. The system of justice were impeccable.
It held for 700 years.
There is this story about a Spartan captain in one of the Peloponnese wars, that were so cool and just, that he ended up being the leader of both warring parties!!
So this is the example I have tried to learn from. It worked in the fight against ISIS, it almost seemed like ISIS wanted to be a part of the alliance as well. They did take a lot of my idea and put them into practice, like using drones and so on.
The same example is the one we use in the current war in Gaza, I TRY, to be just to all involved and not put someone above the other. That is the only way that we are able to NEGOTIATE a peace deal. The other option is the Machiavellian way, and that is just not Israel, with all its compassion.
G-d bless the will to finally find the right deal, and a deal that we can say will lay the ground for an eternal Israel.
First of all, the US and the US allies have put a peace deal on the table. My fingerprints are all over it, so I guess, I am invested in the deal.
Let me go trough the details.
The deal tries to find a deal, that gives BOTH parties equal preference. The Gazan Arabs are fighting for their freedom. They get that, by choosing themselves how to govern Gaza.
Israel wants security, Israel gets that, by putting a MUSLIM peacekeeping force in Gaza.
So both parties are listened to.
If we look at the alternatives. What are they. We can go on fighting in Gaza as we have done, that will lead to the destruction of Israel.
At least if we look at the history of the Middle East. Israel has always been held by the strongest power.
Maybe we can defy the historical lesson? But it is a HUGE gamble to live in an area without ANY allies. It would, if we consult history, be a state that will fall when we are out of bullets. Also it would be a state being in constant war with its neighbors.
My advise would be, take the first phase of the deal, negotiate some more, and see if we can get to the next phase, so that we are not promising anything final at any time, but continue to strengthen the diplomatic process, and see if we can find a solution that we can all be happy about.
I have a feeling, that the cease fire that Mr. Joe Biden has presented is truly an attempt at finding a balance between Israel and Gaza. Giving each side a fair treatment.
As Barack says, it is not the same as the total end of the conflict with two states and so on. But it is an end to the suffering of each side.
So I support the peace deal 100%.
G-d bless the will to find a end to the suffering of all in Gaza and Israel.
Listen Joe, if you want to win the next election, you have to come up with some innovative new ideas.
Innovative new ideas, are not easy to come by, if you really want to present them with quality. That is why most politicians somehow end up repeating the same ideas. I mean, free market theory is an idea that is kind of 200 years old, and somehow it is repeated, again and again as something new. To be fair, it is a good idea, and it works, just not when you compete with someone like China.
So my ideas of a reform of the police, is such an idea, you can use. Maybe put it through some testing, but I will tell you, the left will love it. After Black Lives Matter and all that, it will talk to their hearts. If you do it in the right way, you can also win a lot of the right wing voters. It has to be fair, we need to the policemen to be real policemen, and so on.
But you have a pretty good card to play there, that Trump can’t play, because I just made it up.
G-d bless the will to win the next election, may we prevail.
