Ok, this is a difficult thing to see, if you want to make peace. But, if we start focusing on the destruction of the tunnels of Gaza, although it will be a bit winded. We stop, in practice the killing.
When and if we get a peace deal, then we can stop the destruction. Hamas knows very well, that the tunnels are their true power. Without the tunnels, they are not really an effective fighting force anymore.
This will then make Hamas willing to make a peace deal. How this is structured we will have to see, but making the deal more probable as we destroy the tunnels, is a pretty straightforward strategy. We destroy something that no one needs anyway, if they are not in the business of killing. So there will be no civilian casualties, the refugee situation can be mended while as we aim at the underground threat and so on and so forth. To be fair, I have no idea how big the system is. But it should be weak to punctual destruction. If we sever the connection from north to south, then we are able to stop the flow and so on.
Effectively bringing an end to the war without damaging anyone.
BUT and this is very important. The peace deal we offer Hamas should be fair. We should not press on with vengeance. If we give them a fair deal, they will have less motive to continue the war. Fairness is always the most important in post war reconciliation.
It is not about revenge, it is about making a safe environment for Israel and getting the hostages back.
G-d bless the will to resurrect the peace negotiations.
Ok, we need to change the dynamics of the Gaza war. Mr. Churchill won, and made victory possible for the Brits. But do we have any idea, how he actually made those victories. First of all, he was a very courageous leader. At D day, he wanted to attend as a Marlborough (his forefather) at the front. He didn’t sit at the back, he fought at the front.
Secondly, he was a very INVENTIVE leader of the Brit’s, he invented the tank as a tool to change the trench warfare that was the main way to fight in the First World War. The idea was to make boats on land. A tank is really a small boat, as envisioned by Churchill.
So he was brave and he was inventive.
If we look at the current war I Gaza, what is really the problem. Well the problem is, that we are fighting in on a terrain that is not to our favor. What would Churchill do? He would, if I were him, change the terrain.
As of now the tunnels beneath Gaza is really the thing that is keeping Hamas alive. We can fight them in one end of Gaza, and they will just be wander to the other end.
It won the Vietnamese their war, and it will probably win the Gazans their war, if we do not start to be inventive.
In Vietnam the only response the Americans had to the tunnel warfare was to bomb the surface. Not inventive. So they lost.
What would be INVENTIVE in Gaza? Find ways to disrupt the tunnels. Use wired drones to boobytrap the tunnels. That would be inventive. Or use radar equipment to find the tunnels from above, drill down the to the tunnel and collapse it. That would be pretty easy.
If we focus on disrupting the tunnels, we will take away the only real edge Hamas has. That would stop the killing, and bring the end of the war much closer.
That would be what Churchill would have done. He had skill, intelligence and bravery.
G-d bless the will the change tactics and bring an end to this war. Let’s find peace again.
There is a new proposition on the table regarding the post structure of the reality of Gaza. The US has, together with our Arab partners, proposed a peace keeping force that encompasses the Arab alliance and the US.
There are good and bad things about the deal. The good thing is, that is shows an openness of the US and Arab allies to still work with us. The bad thing is, that with such a deal we give away a lot of the control we have gained in Gaza, at a great cost.
My opinion on the deal is, show respect for it. Enter a serious and honest negotiation, and be honest about our priorities that are essentially a secure border between Israel and Gaza. If the deal, in a probable perspective, can guarantee that outcome, we should at least try and find some kind of compromise. We really need our allies after this war, and therefor we need to show them due respect. They are actually trying to help us.
G-d bless the will to show friendship to our allies.
Well, we are looking right down the abyss. If we go much further down the very destructive path, we will be cast over the rim, and Israel will be gone. That is the hard truth. I am not saying this to scare anyone, it is the truth to use to make a turn around in terms of progression in the conflict.
The direction we have gone until now has put us at the rim of the abyss. That is the truth.
But the good news is, we seem to be aware of it, and can then act to avoid the problems.
The issue is this. The constant banging on the war drums does not do us any good, we end up being seen as warmongers. People are not that into more war these days. They RESPECT the fact, that we want our hostages back, and the need of security. But this is not the Second World War, this is an armed state against a resistance movement. Ok Hamas has ideas, that we do not accept, but that still not changes the fact that we are the big guy, and they are the little guy. That is just not how Jews fight.
I am sorry, and again this is not to put any negative blame on the IDF. The IDF is doing amazingly. It is to be clear about what the frame around the war is.
We can still make some kind of positive outcome out of this issue. We do it, by ramping up the diplomatic process much more, and much more earnestly. If we are seen as the part, that is trying, with all we have to find a peaceful and serious end to the war. We will, after a long time, turn the perception of the two sides.
That is more or less, the only advice I can give right now, and we should be realistic about our current situation, one more step, and it is over the rim.
G-d bless the will to survive.
Knowledge is a fickle mistress. She comes and goes, and more often than not, she leaves way for her evil sister ignorance.
We people are prone to follow ignorance, we love to do it. Put up the simple, easy answers to life. We fight for something that seems right, because of its simplicity and then we are seduced by ignorance.
To stay on the path of wisdom and truth, one needs to have discipline and be strong in one’s convictions. It is not easy to face the hard, barren, horrible truth that more often than not is right in front of us. But if we do not marry truth and are honest to ourselves, we are forfeit. That is the truth. Only if we have the will to be honest and look truth in its eyes, are we able to survive this world, ESPECIALLY when we are in crisis.
In crisis we often grasp at straws of simple logic and follow that, but the truth is, that simple logic will not save us. Only the ability to look upon truth in all its complexity will give us the ability to survive.
I have just survived a crisis. It was incredibly hard to see the truths of my own crisis. But because I am a bit of a prophet, these truths are hard smashed in my face all the time. I can’t not see these truths.
So, this is essentially my message to all my readers. Be watchful for false prophets who come with simple truths, it is better to look for those who will tell you how the world is, in honesty, instead of those who sugar coat the reality and gives you easy ways out. There are no easy way out, all ways out of a crisis is painful, hard, and unforgiving. But at the end of the day, you do not fight for yourself, you fight to keep those who you love safe of harm. Drag them out of the mud, those who are hugging your legs.
If you look at their needs, you do not save them by seeing the simple truths, you save them by being hard on yourself, and see how the world is, in all its complexity and horror.
Only then can you steer clear of all the pitfalls of life.
G-d bless the will to be honest about the situation you are in, to shield those who are most important, and that is not your own ego, but your children, and your children’s children. G-d bless the will to survive.
Well, I am working on my book to try support a more stable and future proof European Union. It is a really interesting job, and hopefully something, that can make a better and more stable world.
When you work as a philosopher, to try and further the development of the world. You always end up with ethics. There is the discussion between too little and too much. The discussion of freedom in relation to responsibility and the way of the state to keep it all sound.
I know, that the European Union is very bureaucratic, that is true. But at the other hand, it also really stand up for those rules. They are really into not bending rules to get what you want.
That attitude may be cumbersome, but it is very important, that the rules are NOT bend in this world.
Really this is what it comes down to, if we want a spiritually and materially sound Europe. Not bending the rules.
That means, not persecuting journalists, and not abusing power that you may have to further your own selfish needs.
If the European Union become a bulwark against the innate motives of those who want to enrich themselves at the expense of those who have very little. Then actually the Union has a raison d´etre. At least this is where I am with my ideas and discussion with myself these days. To keep the flame alight. The flame of humanism and enlightenment.
G-d bless the will to be sincere in the ways of the light and humanism.
Well these are my Purim reflections. I know, that mr. Benyamin Netanyahu has vowed to fight on to the last bullit. And, honestly, I am a supporter of mr. Netanyahu. He has had a lot of heat, that he has not deserved. His is, by all means, the best leader we have right now.
He has the skill, the mindset, he is tough, strong and all we need right now. Also, he is the leader of the right coalition.
So this is not a criticism towards mr. Netanyahu. The only thing that I can criticise him for, a little, was that he did not push Mossad to help me. But that is not easy. Apart from that, he has tried, with all his might, to keep the country a float and working. In this crisis, he has, as a brilliant politician kept the unity of the country, albeit at a great cost for himself.
People say, that he drags out the war. He is not the one who are keeping the pressure, over and over. He reigns over a COALITION that is trying to get to the best outcome.
So, I support mr. Netanyahu.
If he wants to go to the last bullit, I am behind him.
But, and you probably guessed, that there was a but coming. We need to see ourselves as a powerful nation, with a vast arsenal of weapons, not as rebels.
We have survived as rebels since the last nation of Israel fell. But remember what the prophets said when Israel fell. Israel is supposed to be a tool of peace, light upon the nations and so on.
What was it, that the ancient prophets were trying to convey to our time?
Well, it is pretty obvious; we need to able to shift from rebel mode to state mode. State mode is not a rebel process.
I am a rebel, and I have lived by the mechanisms of that way for many years now. Brilliant, arduous, super skilled fight against foes 100.000 times my own size. I have managed to survive, what most other people would have been killed by. Most of my friends are dead.
BUT, I survive, so I know what it is to be a rebel.
BUT, Israel is not a rebel, it is a country, that needs diplomatic relations to those countries around to survive. That is what the ancient prophets were trying to convey to the next Israel. They had a lot of experience with that. Essentially they put us on a path of rebel hood, until the day we were able to make another state. That day, we should shift gear, and do what the old prophets were used to; work with diplomacy and skill to make a stable state.
That is how states work, all over the world. It may be tiring and annoying that you cannot just fight, but you have to be able to shift gear from rebel mode to state mode, if you are really into making Israel a stable state in the long run. If you keep fighting to the death, at every challenge, you may win honor, but Israel will have a very little chance at survival.
G-d bless the wisdom, that we may all get from understanding the ancient prophets. May Israel live forever.
Ok, these are my further reflections on control of you, through your emotions.
Anger is a powerful feeling, and it can control you, if you are not careful.
If you are controlled by your anger, then those who control your anger controls you.
Fear is a powerful motivator as well. The same goes with honor and money.
If people want to control you, they have options to do that, through your needs and emotions.
But, there is a defense against this, and that is your character. The strength of your convictions and virtues. If you are 100% focused of the task at hand, and are not swayed by what other people may think, you can do what is to your OWN good.
Take money. Money corrupts, but you do need money to survive. Right now, I have almost no money, because of the mini pogrom I have been through. So the lure of money is pretty obvious. But if I were bought, then my integrity would be at question, and then I would not be able to be a part of the international discussion. So, I have to be cool about the money need I have, and make do with what I have. Dont get me wrong, I would love to make money on what I do. But it has to be legitimate sources of income.
If I am payed by the European Union to make a reflection on how the European Union may work better, and it is open and goes through the proper channels. Then that is fine, that is a good job.
But if I am payed to work with a specific partner in the world, that is bribery.
The same goes for the conflict in Gaza. There is nothing wrong in the fight itself, but we need to be absolutely clear about our motivation.
So, we need to think about what we want to accomplish, and be straight about that, to get to our objectives.
G-d bless the clear head, we have to have in this conflict, and may we reach out true objectives, and may we find solace after this war.
I am so sorry about the cancer that her royal highness has got.
I will try my best to support both his majesty the king and her majesty the crown princess.
G-d bless the will to support those who are sick and may they be healed again.

Ok, this is the situation in Gaza/Israel in the view of theories of justice and war.
First of all, we need, as Jews, to understand ourselves, to get to a point where we decide what to do.
Who are we? Well being a Dane, it makes it pretty easy to see, and understand. The tribe of Dan, is the tribe that lives here in Denmark. We Jews are originally raiders from the tribe of Dan, Göta and other.
Where does that leave us? It leaves us, with the understand, that to be a Jew is to be a raider, in the sense, that the warrior mentality that we have is essentially, for lack of better words viking.
When we fight, we do it with ferocity, skill and anger.
But, there are understandings of ourselves, that seem to be lost in the time between when we came to the Middle East, and now. First and foremost, we do not truly understand our anger.
We get angry, and we fight. That is how we react, and with the skill that is picked up in the Middle East, we are extremely good at fighting.
But anger is a feeling you have to understand. The deepest root of vikings here in Denmark are the few fishermen who are still roaming the north see. Hard, vicious fighters, who go up against the sea each and every day. Pretty strong men.
They say, that you should LISTEN to your anger, but never get to be controlled by it.
That is true wisdom there, from the deepest source of Denmark.
We should LISTEN to our anger, not be controlled by it.
Now we are so angry with Hamas that we want to destroy them. That is our anger speaking. It serves us well, we fight and survive.
But does it really make sense to loose all our allies going into Rafah? Saudi Arabia, the US, Egypt.
We would be at the risk of true eradication, if we had no allies. Then is that not EXACTLY the aim Hamas is working on?
See the ruse there?
Hamas wants Israel to cease to exist, if Israel goes into Rafah we loose all our allies, and then we are actually at the risk of getting extinguished.
The aim of Hamas is completed.
LISTEN to your anger, but keep a cool head.
Let me tell you another story about our own ways, that is to the core of what it is to be a raider.
There is this funny story about Svend Jernside. Sven Ironside. He wanted to sack Rome, so he sailed to Italy, found this amazing, beautiful city, and got into it by CUNNING. The funny thing was, that the city he thought was Rome actually was a whole other city, not Rome. So for all his cunning, he still failed at seeing the most obvious.
What can we learn from that story. First, we need to use cunning. If we can get Hamas out of Gaza, without loosing more men, that is the most cunning thing to do. It may not be the most honorable, but it will serve us in the long run.
Secondly, we need to see what we are really aiming for. Are we aiming for the eradication of Hamas, or are we aiming for the survival of Israel?
See my point? If we really want to conquer Rome, (in a symbolic sense off cause) we need to think, wisely and check out the situation.
Then there is the viking concept of justice. It is called Retfærd. Straight going, in the opposite of injustice that is crooked going.
My point with that is, we need to think about the straight way to our true aims, and that is, by all means, the survival of Israel and the hostages returned.
If we take the crooked way, which is revenge that begets revenge, that begets revenge, we do not actually get to justice that is the straightway.
The fault of this war were small, but important. We cannot allow one single Jew to be persecuted anywhere. If we do that, we seem weak.
Strenght is unity. Justice is using our heads and getting straight about the true aims of this fight.
G-d bless the will to get to a good solution to this conflict, and eventually end the war in a world that is stable and safe for Jews in Israel.
Well, it is not so bad, that there are coming good things out of all the chaos we witness these days.
I am really grateful for the extremely positive relationship I have been able to make with the Arabs.
First Abu Dhabi, now Saudi Arabia. This spells very good for the future of the Middle East.
One of things, that I have been working on, is to make the desert green.
I have a really good friend, that is an amazing forester. He is the number one creative inventor when it comes to green Change and raising trees. He has had his own forest for 50 years, and houses the local sun dance, indigenous summer festival every summer. He even had a good relation to Dalai Lama, pretty cool guy. Very reclusive, but just an amazing guy.
He has been thinking a lot about the opportunity to make Green Change in the Arab desert, and we have come pretty far. Things are really starting to shape up. We have a tree gene manipulator on board, and we have some amazing ideas for crops to grow in the desert. It has come from a Fata Morgana and become pretty real. It is evolving all the time, and we are more than thrilled to present our ideas for the Prince Zayed environmental foundation.
Add to this, I am working on an air engine. An engine that run on compressed air. This project has been presented to the Saudis, and maybe we can realize this project. There are still a lot things that has to fall in order, to make it happen. But there is a HUGE potential in working together Denmark and the Arab countries.
This is a result of the whole process of reconciliation, so this is really positive.
I dont know how it spells into the current conflict, but for sure it shows a lot of potential, if we can end this war.
G-d bless the will to find peace again, and start the construction to the good of all of Middle East.
Ok, this is the time to pop the champagne I guess. I have saved this information for a long time, because I were essentially under a lot of pressure from the secret police here in Denmark, not to share this information and also because I wanted the soldiers to have peace to conduct their operations without having to think about the things that led to the 7´th of October.
But we are so far in the war, and we are already talking about the how’s and the why’s, so I guess we can, just as well start the blame game. I know, that blame games are vicious, but we have to place a responsibility for the 7´of October.
I were the first fault of a chain of events that led to the 7´th of October. I have been the guarantee of the peace between Israel and the Arab countries, a role I still have, and a role that is expanding.
But this is not something, that is really understood in Denmark, and I had a very torturous experience with the cultural ministry, that tore down my little TV station due to political reasons.
Seen from the outside, it seemed as though, that the friendship that I have guaranteed between Arabs and Jews were threatened, and a month after the TV station was shut down, the 7 of October happened. I then fought with all I had to secure unity and stop the bleeding. I succeeded, and I know that we are in a muddy situation, but as soon as this horrible war is over, we can start the reconciliation for real, and make peace.
But, and this really the issue, who were behind the torture, that led to shutting down the TV station, that was the spark of the 7´of October? There is a menagerie of evil, horrible politicians, the civil servants who went away from normal conduct of civil service, and conducted a porgrom of me and my TV station.
The responsible for this were the prime minister Mette Frederiksen, the foreign minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and the cultural minister Jacob Engel.
You could say, that perhaps they did not know, that the consequence would be a 7 October. But they knew very well, because I BEGGED them to consider the fact that if they shut the tv station it would have horrible consequences for the Middle East. I knew that a weakened peace maker, would mean trouble for Israel and the whole peace process. But with a horrible disregard for human rights, the safety of Jews, they just shut the tv station down.
This was what led to the 7´of October.
So they knew, and they did it anyway.
There is also the role of MOSSAD, who failed to protect me. They KNEW that I there was a danger, but they plowed on not protecting me, prioritizing their relationship to the secret police here in Denmark. If they had protected me, the 7´th of October would not have happened. I got a lot of help from a lot of Jews here in Denmark, some of them with a security background. But MOSSAD as an institution failed miserably. They still are not really protecting me.
So, this is what we need to discuss, from the perspective of what started all of this.
Then there was the defense, that was not ready. MOSSAD had obviously not told them about the impeding danger that they put Israel in, because of their inaction.
So these are some of the issues that we need to relate to.
G-d bless the will to be honest about these issues, and take the necessary actions to make sure it will never happen again. G-d bless the peace we will find again, after this horrible war.
The European Union is discussing with itself whether ms. Mette Frederiksen will be a good chairman of the council.
I know her, all too well. She shut down my tv station, and she has made a career out of essentially torturing everybody around her to silence.
These stories are not yet out, but they will get out, sooner than later. And you guessed it, some the things she has done are beyond normal things. We are talking on holocaust level actions.
So, this is my advice, be very, very, very careful with her. If her past explodes as she becomes the chairman of the council, things will be very difficult for the Union as such.
She is nuclear, political green.
So, be careful, she can tear down the union as it is, and we dont need that right now.
G-d bless the ability to be vigilant and awake for the dangers against the union.
All right, I am trying to write a book. Great Changes has to be backed by books. Blogging is one thing, but truly world changing events has to discussed through by books.
So with my new job, hard as it is, it still gives me a little free time to write. So I am now focusing on a book about the European Union.
I am going to write it in two stages, first a stage is of personal ethics. What is good and wrong, and from there on, it will be focusing on the political discussion on what a federal government is, and is supposed to be.
So it is going to be my own interpretation of Plato, Aristotle, and a lot of the philosophers who were around these two main theoreticians in the ancient time.
Europa was a Greek goddess, so to make something that will apply to that starting point, I hope that those who truly understood Europa will the ones who will understand Europe today.
I also hope, that the angle, that of a persecuted idealistic philosopher is the right outset. So there is no power politics going on here. No gain for me, no one that I am supposed to make happy.
Off cause being a founding father is prize in a sense. But, honestly, who knows, I may all be forgotten.
Anyway, this is what I am working on right now.
G-d bless the peace and progress we will have with enlightenment and wisdom.
Ok it seems to me, that we, more or less, are going for the endgame in the current war in Gaza.
As I understand it, Fatah is coming onto the Israeli side. That is really a good sign. Good sign in the sense, that this means that the Gazans in general is pretty upset about the endless fighting. They are, which is right, pointing fingers at Hamas. So they are looking to ways out. Fatah is a very good option.
Then that gives the Israeli side an opportunity to win by pushing the dialogue with Fatah.
I know that we still need to discuss the aftermath of the war, but we have made quite a few inroads on that debate. So we may actually not be very far from some kind of conclusion.
Then there is the election in Israel, that points to the debate about the how and why’s of the 7´th October.
That debate still is in its infancy, so that is something that we need to find some kind of direction on.
So, all in all, it’s still pretty tough, and the soldiers are doing an amazing job.
But, there is a contour for some kind of solution to the war.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world, may we find peace at the end of this horrible war, and finally be friends.
Ok, so for me, there is a new chapter. I have left the Danish duck pond, and I am finally doing what I am supposed to do; work on international politics.
There are several burning issues, and I can’t fix them all. But I can definitely further progress in all.
To make my work transparent and, to be honest, also have some kind of academic career.
I will continue down a path, that I have not had the opportunity to do for a long time; writing books.
Hopefully, this can be a part of the wider academic discussion on the areas that I am currently involved in. Primarily the solidification and founding of the European Union, secondly, the progress of the Royal English house.
The American election is based, for a part, by my ideas. Specifically the economical ideas. But I will write a treatise of economy if by all possible.
If there are some Americans who have ideas on anything, please give me a call. Preferably with some kind of academic basis. Someone has to read the books.
G-d bless the will, to do good, speak well, and act well. G-d bless the peace we will ultimately find at the end of the current debacle in The Middle East.
Ok, this is the situation regarding the cooperation with the Arab countries.
First I had a really good connection to Abu Dhabi, and I have engaged my friends in the foresting community regarding planting trees in the desert, making the desert a forest.
They are actually really engaged, and we REALLY hope, that it is going to work. We have all kinds of genius ideas, that we hope to share with prince Zayed foundation.
Secondly I have had a connection to Saudi Arabia. Thank you guys, we are talking about investing money in green projects.
I have a really wonderful engine that I am working on, that run on air.
But from there on, I am working with the best engineers in Denmark, to try and combine the ingenuity of Danish green tech and Arab money.
BUT, and this is very important. It has to go both ways, we all have to thrive of this. So my idea is, that if we manage to build relations and get to know each other, hopefully the relationship will work, and we can make something really worthwhile.
It has to be in the interest of Saudi Arabia as well, a win win if you like.
So, it can actually thrive and grow. Making the Middle East more prosperous and greener.
Danish ingenuity and Arab determination may end up making the desert not only blooming but also a source of energy.
So, we will see how this develops. To be honest, getting into the energy sector is difficult, it is a little closed, but with some determination and will, it will happen.
So, we are slowly but surely building relations that will make the peace that we get after the war possible.
Everybody in the Middle East is so tired of war, and wants prosperity and abundance.
We should all work for that, and we can.
G-d bless the peace we can find in the end.
To really make the EU a place of success, people need to know, what it stands for.
I have tried to pinpoint a place, where the EU both is itself, and also has the ability to shine in terms of international recognition.
It has to balance the American ideal, but also has to be uniquely European.
What really springs to mind is renaissance philosophy. First and foremost Democratic humanism.
A quiet revolution in the ideas of Democratic humanism, is a point, where both European and American ideals merge and find a point of interest.
France gave the US the Statue of Liberty, to support the emerging American democratic revolution. So the French ideals can be a starting point for the EU.
But, and this is very important, it has to balance some of the other major European centers of ideas, mainly that of southern Germany, Frankfurt and the ideas of the Frankfurterschool.
Adorno picked up on the ideas of humanism, written in his very good book; Dialectic of enlightenment, that he actually wrote while he was in the US. A stream of ideas, that really impacted the US a lot, to this day.
So, to really base the new ideas to make the EU a beacon of exactly these ideals, would give the countries a deeper understanding of why we really need a federal level.
G-d bless the will to see the European Union as a continuation of the Frankfurterschool in the mold of both a German and French base with connections to the United States of America. May we find peace and prosperity.
When you are an artist, you have fans. When you are one of those top tier artists, you have a lot of fans, and become a player.
People like me, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift.
When you get there, what happens is, that you need to be RESPONSIBLE with you influence.
I get to influence world politics a lot, and in order for the other political players to feel, that they can count on you. You have to be responsible, transparent and serious about it.
More often than not, inexperienced artist players start to fight the government, go underground, stand up for weird ideas and generally have no idea what they are doing with their power.
That is why I try to be really responsible with the power I have.
I know, that I have to work within limits, I have to be constructive and work with certain limits to what I do.
I am not in it to be a revolutionary in any sense. I try to work for good in this world.
So, like now. The EU wants me to work for them, I do that. The Middle East is interested in my support for a more stable Middle East, so I do that. The American administration use my ideas to further their powers, so I do that. The British royals use my ideas a lot, so I support the royal house.
But always with respect to the other players in the field.
This is how, to my experience, you manage to survive in the long run. Too many of my friends have just ceased to exist, due to not listening to those around them.
Artists are naturally idealistic. This is often what drives their art. But you HAVE to be pragmatic in politics to exist.
This does not mean, that you have to sell yourself or cannot have limits. I have limits. By I always respect those around me, and respect their red lines.
G-d bless the will to be serious about the outcome of international politics.
This is the situation, from a personal point of view.
I know that this may bore some of you, but I thought, that you may want to know a little about the health of the blog.
First of all, I have moved server. I know, that you probably didn’t notice, but it is now hosted on a different server.
I did this, because the other server, though being very high in terms of security (yes there has been hacking attempts) was a bit too expensive for my current finances.
So the new host is the next best in the class in terms of security and half the price, so I changed to that new server.
Secondly, there are good news on my personal financial front. I have got a new job, actually two jobs. One as a caretaker of a young disabled boy with autism, and the other as a caretaker of a young noble man with a disease that takes his muscles away. So I have to look out for his respirator. It’s not going to be that easy. I have to work night shifts, and the pay will not be that good either. But it will definitely pay the rent, and there may even be a bit left for a humble vacation with the kids.
So, they are pretty happy with it as well.
All in all it means, that the blog will be continued at this pace or even a little more content wise.
It also means, that I have stopped any blogging or SOME production in local politics here in Denmark.
I am going to focus 110% on international politics and, make Change in the political sphere.
This means, that all those who are in the Obama faction, are still here to do something with the will of the peoples around the world.
I know, that Change, Green Change and so on is a basis of most liberal political life these days, so it will, for all intents and purposes be a way of compromise, trying to make unity and all the rest, that there is to say about that movement.
So, I just wanted to keep you updated.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world, and may sincerity and truth prevail.
One of the things, that hinder a solution to the war between Gaza Palestinians and Israel is the UNDERSTANDING of what it is each side wants to accomplish.
Let me try and paint the picture from each side, so that maybe we can shed a little light on some of the more deeper mechanisms in action.
Israel wants a victory. What is a victory in a European, war sense.
You can look at the Second World War, where the American/Russian alliance won over the Nazies.
Here Churchill declared victory over the nazies. It is here the Israelis have the term from. Since Churchill is the most successful leader of a Western alliance in modern time.
What happened after the Second World War? There was a dismantling of the nazi infrastructure and a rebuilding of Germany.
This is what Israel really wants.
At the other hand, Palestinian Arabs are not that into European war understanding, and just want to be recognized and have retribution for the colonization of Israel.
So this real issue here is, at least in terms of understanding each other. That each side do not understand the other part.
That is why I have pointed to chief Seattle as an idea. Instead of fighting. Try and find some kind of path to mutual peace.
G-d bless the will to see the Gaza/Israel conflict as what it is, a recalibration of understanding and acceptance of the existence of Israel as a true country in a Middle East frame. Israel is a part of the Middle East, if we continue to see this, it will normalize.
Ok, let’s see if we can deduce the structure of the current Gaza/Israel fight/conflicting points of view.
First let’s see it from a Palestinian view.
The Palestinian Arabs are loosing allies fast, and are in internal disagreement.
Quatar just threatened to let go of the Hamas foreign leadership, and there are no Arab countries that support them anymore.
But, the Iranian alliance is still behind them, though not really with a lot of support. The Iranians are still trying to be nice to the EU connections, and Russia is not that interested in another major conflict.
So, Hamas is loosing ground.
At the other side, the picture is to a degree, in the same dynamics.
The US is still supporting Israel, but the support is vaning. There is a lot of internal disagreement, and no real unified front.
Still there is support from UK, France, but it is not a strong support.
The EU is trying to support a dialogue between the two partners and in that sense is the mediator. Supporting me as well, so that is very good, thank you for that.
If we project this development further into the future, it will mean more of the same. The support will vane for both parties, and thus both Hamas and Israel will have less support.
If we look at the objectives of the war from an Israeli perspective, most if not almost all has been met.
We still miss a lot of hostages, but if I understand the military leadership right, Hamas does not pose any threat in a conventional way. It is a bit difficult to really get a clear picture. Some say that Hamas is beaten, others say, that they are still very active.
So, this is the situation before Ramadan.
In most conflicts you can project the current development to understand, what will happen if you do what you do more.
That means, less support for both factions.
The rest of the world and specifically the Middle East is tired of the conflict just wants it to be over.
I am not saying how and when.
But there is no doubt, that the conflict is effectively diminishing and not getting larger.
There is the threat of terror attacks in Ramadan, we don´t know when and how, but from a country power perspective everybody pushes for peace and are not interested in more war.
G-d bless the will to find some kind of end to this horrible war, and may we find reconciliation. G-d bless the will of the peoples of the Middle East, may they find respite and a possibility for a life with joy and hope and be finally happy and content. May we find the ability to settle the way to the end of this war and may we find peace.
Essentially, the strategy; to show the REAL accomplishments done in the term is good.
It is done without much fuss, but thoroughly, wonderfully appreciative of all that are doing the work.
It is done with respect for the tax payer dollar, and it is done to make a come back of the United States of America.
Really, really amazing.
There will be fights ahead of us, but we got the basic message across to the voters.
Now we have to reinforce this understanding.
Good point also about the visions, we are also doing things AFTER we win the next election.
Just over all, really, really good. 🙂
G-d bless the United States of America.
Serious, that was just an amazing State of the Union speech Joe. Candid, visionary, honest, refuting the criticism, and telling the American people of what you have actually done.
That is really the recipe forward.
Be on the offensive.
It’s going to be pretty tough, as these elections always are. But we got off to a brilliant start.
Well done, that is a beautiful beginning
G-d bless the will of the people, and may it be for us and recognize all that we are striving to do for them with honest intentions and truth.
When we talk about the European Union, we need to understand what the meaning of the Union really is.
Right now, very few think about that, but automatically repeat the political ideas of the time.
It is good, that the Commission thinks about the problems of our time, there is nothing wrong about that, I do it myself all the time.
But the idea of a federal government at the scale of the Federal European Union, is a vastly deeper and more complex architecture than the day to day issues we face these days.
What is a federal government?
A federal government is an organization, that tries to encapsulate the needs of the people of the Union. But more importantly, it is a system that aims at CIVILIZING the society that it controls.
As Rousseau says, we hand over our right to defend ourselves physically to the police, so that we are free of the right of the strong.
In other words, we need to think about the civilization that a federal government creates.
Are we humanistic, what is that, are we democratic, what is that?
We need to start on the deeper reflection of the very idea of the Union.
We can do that. In the US, the US were created by pilgrims, that wanted to create paradise on earth, an Eden.
Point being, that all the FUNCTIONS of government were supposed to be perfect. A perfect police force, and perfect government leading to the Eden on earth.
The Americans actually got pretty far, or is pretty far. They are able give people the dream of living in that perfect society.
Not only that, in many ways Americans live a great life.
Why, because they have kept on dreaming of a society that is perfect.
That striving of making a society that is truly democratic and truly humanistic is the tool to create succes.
G-d bless the will to do good deeds, speak well and have good thoughts.
When we talk about Human rights, I truly believe, that we need to understand what is going on.
Today, we have this FEELING that it is about seeing the individual, and protecting someone.
That is right, but there is so much more to it.
Human rights have two roots.
One is the Mesopotamian root, cities like Ur, Babylon and Eridu. If you read the Bible, a lot of these cities are mentioned. Abraham came from Ur.
The other root is classical Egypt, more precisely the temple of light also called Heliopolis by the Greek. It was called Un by the Egyptian.
In Babylon, the amazing war leader and king Hammurabi made the first laws in Babylon. The point was, that you curb the strength of the strong and help the weak. Thereby making a civil society, where the weak can be protected against the strong. In a society without law, the strong will rule over the weak, in a society that is described in books like “The lord of the flies” by William Golding.
Essentially law is the most important social institution in a society.
In the Egyptian version it is about light or truth. A famous story about the unlucky farmer, who went up against a rich man who tried to steal his land, the farmer cried, that it was the TRUTH that is supposed to rule the courtroom.
This is essentially symbolized in the torch of humanity, the Goddess of freedom, science. It is the same idea that is relayed through time immorial to this day.
So that sounds all fine and we LOVE to talk about it at parties and celebrate these ideas.
However, and that is really the issue. When you try to follow these ideas you always end with the corruption.
When that happens, things get nasty and difficult. Each journalist and sometimes scientists like Galileo get a lot of heat.
That is why it is extremely important that we have institutions, that are free of reins.
Someone who will truly wield these virtues in practise.
If that is the case of the current federal government, and to be honest, it actually seems to be the case, we have an opportunity to make a renaissance.
A rebirth of the ancient humanistic ideals.
Thereby saving Europe, again.
Rennaissances often do that in an ever turning process.
We need to REMEMBER what these ideals are all about, and put them to work. To protect those with no means, idealists and social workers.
It is difficult and ofter dangerous. But the very lifeblood of a civil society is the incorruptibility of the civil servants.
G-d bless the will to do good, thing good and speak good.
Ok, these are my reflections regarding the European Union, and its future.
First of all, as one of my American friends once said, she was a beautiful ballet dancer; you gotta work your A-game.
What is really the meaning of that? It means, that you should do what you do best.
Dont do what everybody else is doing, do what you are good at, and then you will succeed.
She became, apart from an amazing dancer, a doctor, a mother and many other wonderful things.
So, what is really the STRENGHTS of the European Union. First of all, what really makes sense is the energy development.
Europe is too dependent on energy from around the world. That has to change. So we are, feverishly, working on an agenda, to Change that.
This points to renewable energy, and getting all that to work in practice.
I am myself really engaged in this, and have a pretty cool project, that I hope to realize.
So, this area is really important, and something that everybody really benefits from, if and when it gets to work.
Good point.
The next is human rights. It really seems to me, that the European Union MEANS it.
The commission supports the Nobel Peace project, that celebrates some of the leading Human rights activists in the world.
So, the heroes of the Union are those, who are actually fighting for Democracy and the rights of the people.
Again a vital point.
The thing is, there are a lot of human rights abuse IN the European Union.
The protection of the rights of the citizens of Europe, through the legal system, is an open winner.
Why would the citizens of Europe support the Union? Because they know, that if their rights are not respected, they can call upon the European high court.
That gives the CITIZENS a motive to support the union.
I know, that it gives a bit of conflict between the national level and the federal level, but more often than not, the national system is not proud about the mistakes they make, and will accept the verdict.
So, these are, right now, two important missions of the Union.
We have to get into our A game, to realize the potential of the Union.
G-d bless the will to do good, think good thoughts, and speak well.
Ok, this is the situation, seen from a strategic point of view.
Let me give an illustration from my own hometown Aalborg, that really sheds light on the current situation in Gaza.
This is not a “choosing sides” post, but an attempt at understanding the pros and cons of the current situation.
500 years ago, we had a huge uprising in Denmark. It was a part of the 100 years struggle, where protestantism and catholicism clashed.
We had a king that supported the protestant faction, and a king that supported the catholic faction.
The “bad guy” of the time was a bishop called “Stygge krumpen”, or something like “evil wretched”.
The faction of the protestants were the ill equipped, and basically consisting of farmers with their scythes.
At the other hand, it was a professional army of knights from one of the German fiefdoms.
So the fight was heavily in favor of catholics.
Enter Skipper Clement, the leader of the Protestant revolution.
He amassed, single handedly, a massive farmer army, and put it up against the pro army.
The first battle was just outside Aalborg, where the two clashed.
To the chock of most of the world of the 15 hundreds, Skipper Clement won, and was the hero of the day.
We still have a massive bronze statue of him just at the outskirts of Aalborg.
What was it, that he did, that made him win the day; you may have guessed it; TERRAIN.
Terrain is the only thing that a farmers army can actually manipulate.
The farmer army was positioned just behind a bog. So, when the pro army of heavy knights came rolling at them, the bog sucked the all up, and the knights became sitting ducks for the farmers.
All hail to Skipper Clement.
Now, if we use this battle to reflect on the current situation on Gaza, what then springs to the eye?
Does Gaza seem like a bog, that sucks the pro army of Israel down?
Not to diminish the amazing bravery of Israeli troops, they are amazing. But they fighting in a bog.
The edge that Israel has in comparison to other conventional armies, is lessened to a massive degree.
So, this is the issue, with the current fighting.
The idea of making tunnels was an idea that was first invented in Vietnam, that was kind of the same fight.
So, what would be the most rational and strategic thing to do?
Get out of the bog, and find a way around it.
It is a simple as that.
Fighting in a terrain that gives you such drawbacks in terms of strategy is not wise.
But, and this is where the lesson of Skipper Clement comes to the fore.
If you change the terrain, you win.
What did the German knights do? They regrouped, and attacked the city of Aalborg (you can still see some remains of that fight).
So they won.
CHOOSING TERRAIN was the key.
So, this is just a tip for the current government of Israel, think about terrain, and you will win.
G-d bless the peace that we can find at the end of this fight.
Ok, this the situation, from a birds eye point of view.
First of all, Hamas lives and dies by the sword. The reason why Hamas provoked Israel is the first place, was because they were getting obsolete. Why were they getting obsolete? Because the entire Arab world were getting to a point where we are going to ACCEPT Israel, and live in peace besides Israel.
This process has been going on for at long time, and it is, in these days actually culminating in a uniform support of the cease fire from all the Arab countries. Even Quatar supports the ceasefire.
Now that this has happened, what are we going to do with Hamas, that has no backing anymore?
That is really the issue.
As soon as Hamas gives over its last bargaining chip, that is the hostages, they essentially have no more raison d´etre.
Yes, they are supported by Iran, to some extent. But Hamas is Sunni Muslim, and Iran is Shia, so it is an alliance of common goals, not of shared belief system.
At the end of the day, this is very important for the Israeli leadership to count into the negations. It is important to understand, that this is very last stand of Hamas. When they hand over their last hostages, they are, essentially, without any importance anymore.
So, we should not see their recalcitrance as an evil thing, it is their last stand, and they suffering.
G-d bless the will to understand the fight also from a perspective of sincerity.
Well, there seems to be a difficult time in terms of house of Windsor.
I have been a true friend of the house since the days of her majesty Queen Elisabeth II.
This is my advice.
The health of the royal family is the life blood of the nation of the United Kingdom.
It is very important, that all in the family are healthy and sound.
This is why a good support in terms of health is very important.
I therefor pledge my loyalty and service to the house of Windsor, and offer my help in any capacity.
How and in what way, is off cause up to the royal house, but rest assured, that anything I can do in terms of healing and support I really offer to do.
I really loved the late Queen, I cried when she passed away.
The current king and the crown prince are so nice and good people.
I therefore offer any help to support you, as you wish.
G-d bless the house of Windsor and may it prosper and be strengthened.
Well, when we focus on the EU, we need to make it progress on a path that is actually positive.
It is not easy, to make a collaboration of countries, that have, traditionally, been fighting, is difficult.
But there are a number of cases, where it actually makes a lot of sense.
I have been in the limelight of repercussion and ridicule in Denmark for a long time now.
The process is that of ostracism, and I am not able to get a job, my things are shut down, so on a so forth.
I the old times in Eastern Germany, it was called berufsverbot.
You can off cause discuss the ups and downs, I am not entirely innocent myself, to be honest. I have been pressuring the system for a long time, and they are wary about it.
I get it.
But the ostracism is getting out of hand, and this where the EU has been of tremendous value for me.
We see other cases of state persecution and the like around both Eastern and Western Europe, and it seems to me, that the federal level has taken this problem and decided to try and do something about it.
Because it is, off cause, against the very core of what we understand of an enlightened democratic/humanistic state.
The federal level, has the tools available, and can actually make the different countries behave, if they start to persecute journalists and so on.
As you have done in my case.
It is the right thing to do, and it actually gives the federal government a lot of plus points in the book of the citizens. Because they are scared and horrified by the state.
I talked to a friend after mine, a fellow documentarist. Her comment was; are we living in Northern Korea, and then she told me, that she was too scared to do anything about it, lest she would be targeted as well.
When the EU takes interest in these cases, it is really a tremendous help.
So, that is definitely a path that seems to be sound, good for the federal level, and will give EU a raison d´etre, that is very positive in this case.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world, and protect journalists as they are persecuted by the states for telling the truth about corruption.
When we discuss the political/religious content of the war. I guess we need to understand the complexity of these things, that we are facing.
When I made the current paradigm, that is the fight against political Islam, that is IS, what was brilliant about that, was that it gave all those Muslims who did not want to fight the West a place to put their understanding and allegiance.
Not all Muslims are violent and rapegangs. Some are, and we have seen that with Hamas, they are, by all means close to and islamists ideology.
BUT, it is VERY important to differentiate between Islamic State that is, essentially The Muslim Brotherhood and their supports, and the rest of the Muslim faith.
We are gatekeepers and controllers of the holy land. Not just tech entrepreneurs.
Not to say anything bad about tech entrepreneurs, I am myself a tech entrepreneur.
But our ROLE in Israel is caretakers of the holy land.
We need to make sure, that all monotheistic faiths and other who are a part of the Mosaic faith, have a fair share of the holy land.
That is Christians, Muslims, Bahai and others.
Confusing our role in Israel with a modern notion is very dangerous, because we make things go wrong.
We need to keep our role as peacekeepers and fair custodians of Israel, so that all that see it as their most holy have fair access to it.
Of cause troublemaking and violence cannot be tolerated in these most holy of places. That is also our role, to keep everybody safe, despite their ideas and religions.
That is a very difficult task, but a task we need to realize and do to be controlling Israel in the long run.
That is why I believe, that Muslims should have access to the Al-Aqsa mosque on Ramadan.
Thereby we show the Muslim world, that it is not about religion, and we still see ourselves as custodians of the peace between the three monotheistic religions.
G-d bless the will to see ourselves as what we are, the custodians of Israel. A people, to give access to all those who see Israel as their most holy site, if they do not do violence.
Ok, we have to analyze the regional relationship between Israel and the leading countries around Israel, to really forge a way forward.
The strategy; to support a dialogue and friendship with the countries around Israel is very good. It works, and has brought a stable relationship.
Even Iran is showing its openness to this, by reducing its chance of making a nuclear bomb.
I know that a lot of people are wary, and we should be wary, but we should also be a part of the diplomatic game, that is essentially what The Middle East is all about.
The big question right now is; what about Ramadan and the ability to access the Temple Mount in this religious festive commemoration of the revelation of the Koran.
My analysis is this.
We need to be really careful not to antagonize those countries around us, that we have found friendship with, and there is really no reason to antagonize the West Bank either.
If we can contain the conflict to a POLITICAL conflict between Hamas and Israel, we are all going to win with that.
There are massive political disagreements we have with Hamas, that we do not have with Egypt or Abu Dhabi or any other Sunni Muslim country.
Muslim countries are very wary about the power we have over sites of holiness to Muslims, the temple mount being the most prominent.
So in order to contain the conflict, we should make no problems for muslims IN GENERAL to access the Temple Mount at Ramadan.
This is not to take away the heroism of the Gaza war and IDF, but to make sure, that we are not antagonizing all muslims.
There is a clear distinction between Hamas and the rulership of Egypt. The muslim Brotherhood (the parent organization of Hamas) is extremely unpopular in Egypt. So we have a clear interest in keeping Egypt on our side.
So, be careful who we support, and who we fight.
G-d bless the will to see a 360 degree view of the conflict and take the wisest steps in action. With a massive respect for what IDF is doing as a fighting force.
All right, let’s just try to do the math according to the principles I have just mentioned. The principle of colonization against the blow back from those colonized that has happened in the last forty years.
Sympathy is quite simple. You get sympathy, if you are the underdog. If someone is brutalizing you and killing you.
This has been the principle of a lot of the colonial actions. In the Americas brutal wars were fought over the landmass.
In Congo pure hell was on it for the people living there.
But, and this is very important, it is a long time ago, white people have been doing amends for a long time, and now the atrocities that is done to white people, are actually making them the underdog in some areas.
So the underdog role is not just automatically given to the people of Gaza.
Add to this, there has been peace in the West Bank for a long time. Jews and Arabs seem to get along just fine.
So, if the war continues, and Hamas is not anymore. There will be little support for a massive condemnation of Israel, as in the South African case.
That is the reality.
Now Palestinians can continue fighting without much international support, or make peace.
If peace is made, the following process will be like this, if I understand the commitment of the EU well.
There will be bridges built and reconciliation made.
I know, that there is a lot of wounds and scarring. People have lost so much.
But the longer the fighting continues, the more lives are lost.
So, what about a deal, that is realistic and gives peace a chance?
G-d bless the will to find true peace among peoples who are essentially brothers.
Ok, we have to look beneath the conflict in between the Palestinians and Israel.
What is really at stake here?
The paradigm we are coming from, and the paradigm we are heading to are actually a paradigm that goes all the way back the the writer Joseph Conrads criticism of colonialism, and the consequent peak at the liberation of South Africa from white supremacy.
If we look at the terrors that were made under the colonial times, there were a lot. My father is from Bangladesh a firm believer in Mahatma Ghandi and his liberation war based on non violence.
But after the peak in the liberation war of South Africa there has been a change in the conflict. I have had a representative of the Suidlanders here at the blog for a few times, and now it is actually white people who are ending in camps.
This has been going on for some time.
And it has culminated in the atrocities that the Palestinians have done to innocent Israelis.
My point is, that many indigenous people have been victims to western colonialism. But the movement back has been very brutal, and we have reached a point, where the victims have become the bullies, to some extent.
This is a realization that the Palestinians have to reach. They are not victims, when they kill and slaughter innocents anymore.
In the US, Chief Seattle made peace with the white Americans, and after that. There has been no more fighting in the US.
The relationship has slowly become better.
So, what I propose is. Seen in the light of diminishing support for the Palestinians, it is only going to get worse. That we settle the peace deal, not as a scam, but for real.
After that, we can, hopefully, get to a point where we are ok everybody.
It has happened in the West Bank, and it is therefor also possible in Gaza.
But the motivation has to come from the Palestinians.
The world is changing, and you cannot, by default, point fingers on western guilt and colonialism anymore.
But you can settle and realize a peace between you and the Jews, who do not want conflict, but just to have their backs free of problems.
G-d bless the will to understand the conflict in between Gaza and Israel.
Ok, it seems to me, that the Israelis are kind getting over their “Sodom and Gomorrah” point, actually listening to the angels, and thereby saving the polis of Israel.
In the sense, that Israel is the IDEA of a nation that is supposed to be the light upon the other nations and a peacebuilder in the sense of the holy Torah.
This is my experience with angels, as I have worked a lot with the angels over the last ten/fifteen years as a part of my own journey to understand spirit.
Jewish angels reflect Jews. They are what we are.
So they are the best friends you can have, and the most destructive enemies you can have.
If you attack me, and many do, all the time. The angels will fight on my behalf, and usually that is as destructive as I have seen anything. But if you are my friend, they will support you, heal you, carry you over the mountains and over the desert.
They are usually much wiser than me. I can see, that in hindsight, some of the things I were inspired to do did not make much sense in the situation, but afterwards it made a lot of sense.
Like when we had to flee with Moses. We lost the “protection” of Egypt and were forced to wander in the Sinai for 40 years. Just imagine Moses, that powerful spiritual man, having to wander in the desert.
But it was a cleansing, and when we were ready, we found a place to make found a kingdom.
So maybe we had to wander for 40 years in the desert, but at the end of that road we found redemption and a nation, that has supported us ever since. Maybe, this may seem like a far away principle, if you live in Israel and it is just the way you life. But at the end of the day, Israel is the very thing that has kept Jews alive for thousands of years.
If it had not been the dream about Israel, there would not have been Judaism. Israel and Judaism are interlinked.
So in that sense, we wandered for forty years in the desert, but the effect of that suffering, was the eternal support of G-d.
Understanding the true power of G-d is difficult when you live in a secular world. But it is necessary, for the unity and wisdom of the Jews.
The current situation is the effect of forgetting G-d, and the redemption is to remember again, and not follow the angels blindly, but having a sound and real relation to the angels and G-d.
G-d bless the will to find solace in the fact that we can be secure in the embrace of G-d and his helpers the angels. They protect us.
I have often discussed with myself, what it is with Change?
Why has Change been such a success. Change being defined by the slow evolution of political matters, so that it makes a better world, without making anyone angry and avoiding the conflicts.
I think it is because, wisdom is a tool to make peace.
Take the deal that mr. Netanyahu is making in Gaza right now. It is wise. I truly think, that it takes into consideration all of the political players in the region, and secures the long term security of Israel. Well done mr. Netanyahu.
With that no-one is really angry or trying to make more conflict.
It is a compromise, and all those who are in the compromise realize, that they can’t get everything through, but are ok with getting a part of their demands.
So, problem is met with a compromise that all can accept.
We have a wise solution to the problem, and we can worry about other things.
This is not to say, that the conflict is over. But we managed to find compromise on the aftermath of the Gaza war already, that is very, very promising for the peace in the long run.
G-d bless the Change we find, and may we make it the way we do things. G-d bless Barack Obama, and his legacy.
Ok, Joe, as I thought, Mr. Trump has opened up with his first barrage.
He calls you old, oppressive and a lot of other things.
This is my experience with these things.
First of all, you need to respond. But you need to respond in a way, that highlights your own qualities.
People see you as weak, you are not. You are strong, so people need to listen to that, see it for themselves.
My best advice would also be to strengthen the REAL results you have made in your term.
You have made America great again. I know it sounds like a trope. But everywhere in the world, people respect the US.
So that would be reversed if Trump came back. It is a hard truth, but that is as it is.
So highlight your own achievements; International respect all over the world, a steady hand on the wheel, progress in all areas.
This fight is already dirty, and we need to respond to it, in a manner, that will elevate us, and not make us look bad.
G-d bless the will to be strong in the face of adversity.
Ok, this is the situation, on the blog.
Last year was a horrible year in terms of economics. I lost my job as a journalist, and, so far, I have not been able to get a new job.
It happens, when you are ostracized.
Luckily, the international community and all my dear friends, that I have been working with over the years, have been chocked by it, and have tried to help.
Especially the European Union have been trying to help. Thanks a million. I really, really, really appreciate it.
But things are not changing over night, and all the paper work that has to be done takes time. It is ok, that is how it is.
But as things are, Rubicon.dk is running on fumes.
It is very difficult to keep it running, as things are.
So, this is a plain funding plea. I have not done a lot of those pleas, I guess it pains me to ask.
But, I guess it is better to be honest about these things, so that my readers know the situation.
So if you feel, that rubicon.dk gives you something, consider giving something back.
Over in the right, there is a fundraising opportunity.
All funds raised goes solely to the blog. And if, by some amazing miracle, that the funding exceeds my humble needs, it will be send on to some other soul who is also trying.
Thanks on beforehand.
G-d bless the help we give with our honest intentions. Thanks.
Ok, this is a shout out to Elon Musk, well done Elon. You have, kind of, put your ship right.
The fact that things are calming down, is a good sign.
When you enter into politics, as you have, it’s a hard game, and you have to be really careful. You get friends and foes, and that’s ok. You just have to pick those with care.
Concerning Twitter or X, my advice would be, to be careful here as well.
Politics is, compared to entrepreneurship a careful process. You have to listen to everybody, while as in entrepreneurship, you have to use your will to push your product.
So, the dynamics are very different.
It seems to me, that you are trying, slowly to push the boundaries for free speech.
Again, that’s really perfect, but be very careful.
You have to pick your fights.
Right now, I have picked the Middle East fight, because I hope, that I can contribute with something positive and good. I am a jew, so off cause Israel is extremely important to me.
The Ukraine conflict is so poisonous. So I am hesitant to involve myself in that.
To be honest, I think it wouldn’t make much of a difference, if I entered into that conflict.
So I focus on where my advice, realistically, can make a difference.
So I am careful what I do.
That is very important in politics, to pick the causes that you can see, that there is a good chance, that your involvement can be of service.
At the end of the day. Politics is a humbling thing. You can only succeed, if serve the causes you fight for.
You have to put your own ego aside, and help where you can.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world, and give hope.
This is a recognition of the royal family. I know, that you have been through a lot, and things are still very difficult.
But it seems to me, that things have turned around, and everything is progressing on a more positive path.
Not least the crown princess has become much better, and all the prayers seem to have a very good impact on his highness Charles III.
All in all a positive movement.
So, what can we maybe learn from the crisis?
First of all, there is a very solid connection between the members of the royal family, that is getting much better.
The crisis has brought the human side of everybody to the fore, and I think, that this may just have healed some of the things of the past.
Everybody has new resolve and faith in the betterment of people around them.
This is what faith and prayer gives you. It gives you hope, and healing.
I have, personally been both really worried, and also praying a lot for those who were sick.
So for me, it is, personally really, really wonderful to see, how people are ok. It is also my prayers that seem to be heard, in a sense.
So the family is much better. There is still the treatment of his Majesty Charles, so that will take time.
But at the end of the day, we overcame this, and became stronger.
G-d bless the will to have faith and support those who are our closest.
Ok, let’s see if we can untangle the current situation.
And I must underline, that this not about me, but about the danger, that is pretty clear. An Israel without friends at all, is a dangerous place to be.
We are talking about a two state solution. What is really the problem with this, seen from an Israeli perspective?
It is the fact, that a sovereign state, that holds the right to bear arms, is a viable threat to Israel.
In the equivalent for Gaza, the Indian territories in the US, the inhabitants there does not have states, and they are not violent against the rest of the society.
This has lead to a situation, where there is peace between the rest of the US and the few remaining indigenous people. It was a choice that the indigenous people made themselves, they chose not to fight to be able to survive.
In these days, there is a great relationship between the territories and the rest of the US.
But it really comes down to the ability and wish to do violence.
If Hamas and other Palestinians did not want to fight Israel, it would not be a problem.
But they are still in it for the fight, and therefor it is a very palpable threat to Israel.
That is really the problem.
If Hamas and others that wish to harm Israel gets to build a state, and thereby have the means to fight Israel, Israel will not be safe.
So there are, essentially, two choices. Either we do not build a state, and keep Israel safe that way. Or we build a state, that does not have the potential to destroy or harm Israel.
The latter option is what the US is trying to obtain.
It is, essentially, a compromise. It gives Gazans respect, and thereby, hopefully make them become friendlier to Israel.
It is still in its infancy, the whole discussion. So we dont know, if it is possible.
But that is where we are.
G-d bless the will to do an enlightened debate on the Israel/Gaza conflict.
Ok, I get it. The Knesset and most of the secular Jews, do not want a King. So they reject my ideas, and want to do it themselves.
That is absolutely ok, it is a free world, and no-one will or can force the Knesset or anyone else to do something against their will.
I am not going to do that, and I respect it.
The thing is. It is essentially not up to us. We are the Chosen people. What does that mean?
It means, that G-d has Chosen us, to lead the world to peace.
In case you had maybe forgotten this. This is the goal.
Now, you can choose not to believe in the old myths, live your life as a cab driver or a police officer. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It is totally ok.
But when you are faced with the entire Middle East, trying, desperately to make peace.
Then you have to remember who you are.
Or should I say, who we are.
We are supposed to be special.
You may not believe in G-d, but that does not mean, that G-d does not exist. He does exist. And seen from the perspective of G-d. Are we doing what are supposed to now? Or are we forgetting what we are supposed to do now?
I am not saying this to be annoying, but to give you an angle on how you may be seen from a spiritual point of view.
If I am right, then we are in trouble. Because we are not listening to anyone, and we are pretty much just seeing the end of our own nose.
How does that rhyme with the aim of Israel being the light upon the Nations, and we being the ultimate peacemaker?
I know, that that is a hard truth to face.
But the thing is, we ARE the Chosen people, and we HAVE a frame and a goal we are supposed live up to and follow.
So we need to see it from the perspective of G-d, to really be seeing the whole picture of things.
When we stray from G-d and our services, then G-d will punish us.
The 7´th of October was a reminder of us not allowing ourselves to be divided.
Refusing to see the big picture is a problem.
We need to engage in the discussions of the future of Israel/Gaza.
I am not pointing a finger to anything specific.
But I am saying, that we need to look at the situation from an above perspective, in order for us to thrive.
We are supposed to bring peace.
G-d bless the will to find a solution to the postwar discussion.
Ok, this is how international politics work, or how any natural process works really.
To cite Empedocles the Greek philosopher, natural development is like a sphere. In the middle of the sphere you have strife in the outskirts or the surface of the sphere you have love.
That is how you can see nature. Nature then flexes between love and strife.
This is the idea that, most probably inspired Göehte, and was then picked up by Darwin to describe the evolution of nature.
Today it is a bit garbled compared to Göethe and Empedocles, all we have left is “survival of the fittest”, which is only looking at the strife part of the equation.
You have the same balance in the Kabbalistic tree of life.
Anyway, Empedocles proceeds, and tells us, that there is a kind of pulsing between the surface of the sphere (love) and the center of the sphere (strife).
In other words, we go from love to strife to love in ALL NATURAL processes. From the life of a deer, to the life of a seaplant. This is a universal model to encompass all life.
So, he has this nugget of wisdom, that we can use in the conflict in the Middle East.
He says, that when the process shifts from strife to love, the turning point is what will define the development of the new love process.
In other words, when you work with peace building, which is the natural process after strife, you have to be on point as when the development shifts from strife to love.
That is why you can’t just leave the peace negotiations by itself, you have to attend and push, because right now, the direction of the peace deal is what is formulated. See?
It is not about power of right to decides for ourselves, it is about playing the game to our advantage.
If we keep out of the negotiations, we will step into a negotiation, that is already defined, and probably not to our immediate advantage.
We have, kind of, progressed over the point of the start of the love process (in the words of Empedocles).
We need to keep up, and formulate our own premises. Now, not when we have won the physical war.
It is not about winning the debate. It is about planting ideas for the aftermath of the conflict.
To me, it is quite obvious what we need. We need at situation where we are safe from the bombs. Also we need the last hostages freed.
How this is formulated, is actually up to the discussion not only with us, but also our neighbors. If we do not get our neighbors into an agreement, how our we to ensure the deal?
We are a part of the Middle East. We should play that part to our best ability. We have an opportunity to get the entire Arab world on our side, if we play our cards right. That is an opportunity we will never have again, if we blow it.
G-d bless the will to play the part of the game, that will give us security.
All right, what is really the overview over the war in the Middle East?
The international pressure on both Hamas and Israel is very high. Everybody around just wants the war to stop. Egypt is pressuring Hamas, the Arab Kingdoms is pressuring Hamas, Iran is not really getting into the mix.
Why, because nobody really wants the war.
So what is really the intellectual framework we can try and put around the conflict?
At one hand, we have the experience of the First and Second World War. Here France put a very high price on the German economy after the first world war, to recompensate for the cost of the First World War. This lead to inflation in Germany, that then again led to the Second World War. We have to be careful not putting too much pressure on the citizens of the countries that we win over, or they will rebel, and do something even worse.
At the other hand, there is the whole Machiavellian stance, that is like “be real!”, if people have some kind of chance to rebel they will do it, you can never trust those you have conquered.
So the truth lie in-between.
My point is, we have to find a peace deal, that does not pressure too much, and not too little. It is a balance.
Looking at the negotiation position. We are late to the game, but we have pretty strong hand.
The Americans have, because they want to bring peace, already been negotiating with the Arabs, bringing a lot of pressure on Hamas, and that is absolutely a boon for us. BUT, the Americans have recommendations or demands. Mr. Biden wants a two state solution. So there is already a frame to the negotiations, that we cannot just put aside. So to be realistic, we have to find some kind of compromise within that frame.
To the benefit of our negation stance. We at one hand have a lot of backing, and nobody wants Hamas to lead the state of Palestine, they want it to be a state that is lead by someone who can secure a peace after the war.
And that is really the game changer, as I see it. The two state solution has to be a neutral version in the Palestinian end of things, to secure the peace.
War starts when diplomacy ends, and we have a strong hand right now in terms of negotiation. We should, at least be a strong part of the negotiations. I mean, if we stay out of the negotiations, we only loose the initiative, which was what happened in the sixdays war.
We won the war, but really lost a lot on terms of negotiation, because we did not start that process soon enough.
G-d bless the win we can find, if we play the game with determination and exceptional skill.
Ok, so there is a very positive development in the Middle East. The other regional powers are not really wanting an all out war with Israel. Even Iran is signaling restraint. Why?
Because they ALSO want peace. The direction of this development is pretty clear. We are working on a strengthening of mainstream religion, and we are all to benefit.
In this view, fighting each other does not make much sense.
Just imagine the peace potential in a shared platform of religion?
I am not saying we should all be the same, what I am saying is, that we can make a platform we share and thereby make peace.
It is going to really difficult, but that would be an amazing result of the Biden presidency.
Anyway, I get it. There is the fighting right now, and Mr. Netanyahu is split between the part of his constituency that wants victory, and the world, that wants the war to stop now.
My reflection on this is; define victory.
Will it be an eradication of all people in Gaza? I mean, probably no. Will it be a negotiated surrender?
All theories and experience with war tells us, that being magnanimous when you win, is key to holding the territories you win.
That was how the Romans built their empire.
Then what is a victory, is a victory not, that Israel gets to be safe in the long run?
Add to this, I mean, when all the atrocities happened at the 7 of October, that was a chock, but the Palestinians are the ones who are suffering now. The scales have been balanced.
What we need to get to, is to get to a situation, where we are able to live in peace with our neighbors.
And we are actually moving in that direction, judging on the what the regional powers are saying.
My experience is, when you get an opportunity for peace, and you have, essentially, reached your goals, you take that opportunity, and see where it leads.
This does not mean, that we should abandon our troops and stop the war. But we should see the development for what it is. It is a chance for a permanent peace.
G-d bless the will to find peace in a troubled time, and think about those who suffer in the war.
Ok, this is a shout out to the European Union. It seems to me, that we are, kind of, moving in the right direction.
The staunch and very invested support in the peace process in the Middle East, and the attitude to the new parliament that will be made after the election, shows a lot of ability and positive attitude.
The EU is moving, trying to listen to the those who are critical, and support a dialogue with them.
This spells a very good and interesting development. It will not be easy, and we have to be able to compromise ourselves also.
A dialogue is to reach out and try to find a way to meet at the middle.
We have done that before in the Liberal camp, and we are actually doing it again in the American election. Elections are always won in the middle.
But to see, that the European Union is open to humanistic dialogue and compromise is definitely positive.
So, props to you, well done, and we will continue down that track to reach across the aisle.
G-d bless the will to reach each other in dialogue and compromise.
Ok Joe, I have really been trying to figure out a way. How do we turn this boat around?
My basic analysis tells me, that it has to do with the RELATIONSHIP you and Trump has to the media.
Right now, your relationship does not IN ANY WAY give you the credit you deserve. You have been really successful in making US stronger, more stable. Everybody respects your voice in the world.
I mean, this was what you promised to do, that is what presidents do, and you did it.
So why dont you get the credit?
Because the Americans can’t see it. They do not see you, when you talk to foreign leaders, they don´t see you at the head of the table, making things happen.
They don´t see that, all they see is when you talk to the press.
In this situation, your strengths do not shine through.
At the other end, Trump is really good at new media, he can whip up a crowd like no other. But the fact of the matter is, that he is really bad at the administration end of the things.
He may have gotten a little better, but he is a showman, actually an amazing showman. This is his strength.
So what do you do?
You change the media.
This is my own experience working with television (I had a small television station, TV Freedom).
A lot of the issues with the relationship between politicians and the media is really soured. Why? Because the media is often not really ethical. They will twist your words to get to you, or get a good story. You have an easier time than Trump, but a good story is a good story, so if you can get something on someone as a journalist, you more often than not, do it. I know, I am a journalist myself.
This is where I wanted to change the relationship between media and the politicians, because I have a lot of good experience as a blogger with politicians which is full of trust and support. So my experience with politicians is really positive.
So I took this experience and made it a basic principle of my little TV station, to build on trust. It worked, and I had a lot of really good interviews with the MPs here in Denmark. I made sure, that they knew, that I would not cheat them in any way, and I respected them 100%.
That was so constructive. So I got to be a companion.
Maybe you need such a companion, someone you can trust, and bring him or her with you, to shoot some of the sessions you have, where you are at your best. Talking to foreign heads of state, sitting at the head of the administrative table and so on.
Actually I would be happy to do it, and we trust each other.
My point is, people need to see you when you are in YOUR strength. When you fight for world peace, oversee complex maneuvers and so on.
But it has to be a work that is STRICTLY controlled, so that no secrets are revealed and so on. The security level has to be really strong, so it is a difficult thing.
Anyway my basic point is, you need to show people what you do, when you do what they asked you to do. You were asked to work in a fine manner, to secure the reputation of the USA.
You have done that to a brilliant conclusion. And the thing is, Americans do not want chaos, they want stability and know what is coming tomorrow. They want to be able to be proud of their country. You have made that, made them able to be proud to be Americans. They just need to be able to see, what you have done, and how you do it, by your skillfull management of your presidency.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world.
Ok, there are a lot of potential donors that is trying to give some money, so that I do not have to find a job, and then not be as effective in blogging. Actually someone found my account and just put in 30 dollars. Thanks, that is really appreciated.
To service those who may want to contribute and support Rubicon.dk, I have put a fundraising bank account on the right, so you may support, if you want.
Any kind of support is very dearly appreciated.
What I am focusing on now is the reelection of Joe Biden, the peaceprocess in the Middle East, and the discussion of the EU, how to make it work. But I am also working on a lot of green energy and foresting projects, that you may find interesting.
So any kind of donation, will go to those endeavors.
Thanks on before hand, all and I mean any penny is REALLY appreciated.
G-d bless the will to be able to do good in this world.
Ok, we are actually getting somewhere. The negotiations in the Middle East is ok. Hamas is pressured by everybody else, as to do some kind of peace negation.
Why? Because the rest of the Middle East is not interested in fighting.
So, this strategy; to reach out to those regional powers, and get them on board in a negotiation bears fruit.
Well done.
Then it is back to the American fight for the next presidency.
The whole discussion on whether we are old and nice, is essentially just slandering.
We have done, for the most part, really good.
I know, that the border issue was a problem. But at least now we have tried, and was stopped. So they can’t blame us on that account.
But, this is the thing, we need to get in the offensive.
We need to have new projects, ideas, things we want to do.
One of the things, that was the linchpin last election, was the China issue. Where are we on that?
We have to be clear, that we are not backing down!
And also, we are actually seeing some kind of movement in the Middle East.
As soon as this bears some kind of fruit, we need to say it out loud.
So, we are moving, but we need to get from defensive to offensive.
G-d bless the will to win the next election.
