It is at once a great privilege and and terrible responsibility, to take up the mantle after great thinkers as Immanuel Kant, Jürgen Habermas, Søren Kierkegaard, Adorno and Karl Marx.
Being a centreal european thinker in the same mould as the Frankfurterschool and off cause Danish thinking, the schools that these predecessors have produced are pretty amazing.
At the other hand, it is also my privilege to counter and rebel against my forefathers. Maybe I am in the same family as mr. Karl Marx, but that only makes it more prevalent to say, that yes I do respect the man, but it is my job and right to discuss the man.
No, I do not believe in an international borderfree world, I believe, as the predecessor of Marx; Hegel, in a g-d inspired nation.
This does not mean, that I do not understand and respect many of the ideas of Marx, yes, there should be a social system in the state to protect the weak, yes, there should be a community to stem from, yes, workers are to be supported. But, it is, to me at least, folly to think, that we can have solidarity with people we do not know. We need to start with what we know, and then start from there, and expand it. This is the natural way. As Alinsky said, we need to ORGANIZE! This organisation is done by someone, with the aim of something. But also, as the old union leaders said. Let us work with people who make plants and produce stuff, if we can.
It does not necessarily have to be an adversarial relationsship, we can, if we try, make it work, and make sure, that things are still in the oven, both in Europe as well in the US.
No, not all workers are in love with the green change, some prefer to have a car, and live in a small flat. They cannot afford an electric car.
At the other hand, we should make it so, that we build a greener world, hopefully to the benefit of all.
G-d bless the will, to ORGANIZE, and make things, made in America.
Understanding Plato, is to understand academia. Academia is in a great crisis these days. All the things, that some see as a part of Woke, and most see as a part of political correctness, that is diminishing the ability to think freely at campus, COMES from academics, who obviously do not like the idea of letting other people talk about what they want to talk about.
This is a bit like telling a jew not to like Israel or a muslim to be unjust. It is a fault in that league.
Let me explain.
Plato was a quiet rebel. He had seen atrocities in his life, and decided to make a system, that would serve as a deterrent against tyranny. A deterrent against oppression and corruption.
Being the person he was, he didn’t do it by scolding anyone, he did be trying to build the most beautiful, coherent, idealistic system that man has ever seen.
He was all into beauty, good and truth, and many other virtues. He is THE philosopher to turn to, if you want to be an idealist.
He had seen it all in his own life time. His teacher, whom he REALLY loved, Socrates, was killed by the callousness of a class of tyrants. His other teacher Anaxagoras, was put to jail. He was surrounded by teachers who had been put into jail. The system he was living under, that of Democracy, was riddled with disgusting moral corruption.
So his attempt at solving the problems he saw in his life, was to, at one hand, point to Sparta for an alternative, which I personally thing is a problem, and then build this beautiful, marvel of a system, that we still see as the basic stone of all of academia.
Academia MEANS people who adhere to the crowd that was in the grove of Academus, a grove where Plato students hung out, as we still, in an abstract way do.
Plato was a QUEIT rebel. The tenants he gave us; the cave allegory as the main tenant is about GOING AGAINST the moral corruption of the society. His genius was, that he invented an institution, that, if it works, works against the corruption of Democracy, thereby being the very thing that keeps Democracy sound and well functioning.
It wasn’t Sparta that was the remedy for Democracy’s inherent danger of corruption, it is academia as such.
In this sense, if academia LEADS the corruption in a Democracy, something went just wrong somewhere. It is doing the complete opposite of what it is supposed to do. I mean, it just doesn’t make sense.
We still have bastions of true rebels within academia, as Chicago university, and Oxford.
But there is an inherent problem, in academia as such, and as a true platonist, I just know the ideas of this ancient person, and have lived with his ideas in most of my career, or whatever you can call it; his message is clear. We are supposed to search for the light, through dialogue, to hinder the moral corruption of society.
G-d bless the will to see things openly, and be honest and true. G-d bless the wisdom of Plato.

After the long symposium that I have just attended at Oxford university, a lot of good analysis and understanding have evolved as a result of the discussion.
First of all, I have been quite critical against woke for some time. The reason being, that I do not see this new cultural marxist idea to be very much in contact with the whole idea behind cultural marxism. Cultural marxism is, at its core a religious, humanistic, Jewish philosophy, that seek to further the right of the individual.
The mass movement of woke is against the very idea of woke, that is supposed to see each individual as something sacred.
How can safe spaces, and political correctness have anything to do with the sacredness of an individual?
Harking back to the beginning of cultural marxism; Adorno, Horkheimer is to realise that the opposite of nazism is not just the fight for a fair treatment of minorities, which I think is extremely important, but much more, the ability to treat people humanely. Freedom of speech being the main idea.
Enlightenment, that Adorno speaks about, is being true.
I also believe, as a result of the discussion, that there must be a certain faithfullness to the idea of non violence. I know that in Ukraine and the Middle East, we have to defend ourselves, but the point of non violence is essentially, that war is about the virtues of each opponent. If you find yourself fighting against a party, that is totally beautiful in terms of ethics, and carries the sacrifice that they have to endure with a smile.
Then you fight against someone, who are truly good persons.
Seeing each other for what we are, is important, and making safe spaces, to shut that important truth out, is a step in the wrong direction.
Thoreau, who came up with the ideas of non violence, was a principled person, who preferred going to jail, rather than obey an unjust law. He was a simple living guy, who just didn’t accept the rules, if they were unjust.
That is the true example.
G-d bless the will to truly find peace, in a world of conflict.
When you work for spirit, the aim is to make a better world. But how may that world look like? It is a world of happiness and joy. That is entire project of the monotheistic religions, to meet in joy, love and happiness. Dance, have fun, meet across the normal boundaries that set people apart.
G-d bless the Lambeth conference
For a long time, I had the good fortune to be so strong in my faith in humanism, that I did not succumb to the usual death trap of bitterness and vindictiveness that is often accompanied, with people that searches for light and truth.
Plato explains it like this. Humanity lives in a cave. It is strung to the end of the cave wall with strings, so it can only see the shadows of a small bonfire that is behind them. But, between the bonfire and the peoples, some guys walks back and forth with carboards that casts shadows on the cave wall.
The point being, that most people only see the manipulated truth, not the real truth.
So the task of the philosopher is to go down into the cave, cut the strings, and let the true light into the cave.
This story is the main story behinds things like journalism, science, a lot of religion and many other application, for thousands of years.
The problem is, when the philosopher cuts into the strings, people start to rebel, and are angry with the philosopher. Bringing truth into the cave is unpopular. The truth bringers are rarely popular.
So you do, as a philosopher, end up in a string of harassment, are put to jail even and even, sometimes, put to the stake and burned alive. As Galileo, and Anaxagoras.
You know, I have just been through another bout of persecution, by the city council, by the cultural minister, by some people of the antivaxx, by a ring of peadophiles and so on.
For the simple act of being honest about the problems we face these days, and for calling out the crime ridden underworld here in Northern Jutland.
Now even I do have my limits, and after a hectic spring, with a lot of struggle, I found myself in a position, where I fought on endlessly.
That was the trap, right there, the bitterness, the loss of faith in humanity.
Because, and that is a profound realisation, enlightenment is a HUMANISTIC tradition. It is about the faith in human beings, and the good we can do for the world. The minute you loose that positive and constructive focus, you are just a bitter old man, loosing your motive and idealism.
Luckily the red indian community was there for me, in my troubles. They tried to heal me, and showed me thet beauty of being positive and supportive.
Maybe this is where we have ended after Trump? Lost our faith in being honest, supportive and nice to each other. We have become bitter, the fight has caught us, and we let ourselves to places, that are not good.
Holding on to our humanity is the only thing that really matter in a conflict. Loosing our humanity will mean that we have, in a very real way, lost the fight for a better world.
G-d bless the will to remember our humanity in a world riddled with trouble and conflict, remain positive and supportive to everybody, even though it is immensely difficult.
The green agenda is not really going in the right direction. In Canada and Holland, we have these huge demonstrations of farmers, and all farmers in the world, are just waiting for their turn to be “the problem”.
To me, this has absolutely nothing to do with the idea of caring for nature.
Last weekend at had the supreme honour to be a part of a Sundance festival. It is a red indian ceremony that has taken a bit of root here in Denmark. Through some of my good friends, I was invited. It gave me an insight into who these people were, who was the origin behind all the green change ideas.
They were the absolute opposite of all the hard handedness that the farmers are handled with. Nice, peaceful, loving people who didn’t think about politics, but of being good people, sharing, having fun, singing, praising nature.
Going from that perspective to a harsh handling of the farmers just doesn’t make sense. What the green movement is about is positive, it is about the nurture the forest, the appreciation of the trees.
It is beautifully poetic and sees nature for what it is.
There is nothing wrong in learning a bit from the red Indians, and their beautiful vision. Me coming from a platonic perspective, I see a lot similarities, not least the beautiful, positive look on life.
We should remember this, when we are working on the green agenda. If we end up in methods that are not beautiful, we miss the entire point.
The green change is about love and light, and caring. For nature, but also for everybody else. It is the good guys, being nice to everybody around them.
The aim is a better world, where we share and dance and are happy.
G-d bless the will to be honest and light giving.
These days at the Lambeth conference, we discuss the idea of allowing gays and lesbians to be consecrated into marriage.
That is a difficult discussion, and hopefully, the conference will come to a conclusion without too much conflict.
The whole debacle stems from a discussion on woke, that see gays as a minority, that, among other minorities, should be protected.
This is an attempt at laying out the essence of the discussion to, hopefully, shed some light on the issue from an ethical perspective.
It all comes down to cultural marxism, that is the root of woke.
Cultural marxism was a branch of marxism that bloomed in Carl Marx own home country Germany, and has a lot of quality in terms of theoretical level. It is truly high level theories.
Some of the leading lights of that development was the German jew Adorno and his friend Horkheimer.
What is really going on? Well, the German marxist had to flee Germany in the Second World War, having seen the mass hysteria of Nazism. So, in essence, woke is a counter theory against nazism.
The minorities that woke see as supposed to be supported are those groups that were persecuted in the Second World War. People who didn’t fit in, and ruined the supposed health of the German Volk.
Jews, gays, handicapped persons and so on, and so forth.
This is really what wokeism is doing, it tries to find a counterpoint to nazism, by supporting those who nazism persecuted.
No, don’t get me wrong. I am VERY close to this idea. I fact, I am almost a copy of Adorno. I am myself a jewish scholar, who came from a marxist mould.
BUT, and this is where I disagree with woke. I do not think, that good is necessarily the opposite of what nazism see as good. In fact, I believe, that good in enligthenment, humanism, platonism, as described in the Bible and other good philososphical texts.
This does not mean, that we should not protect minorities, but we should not forget our humanity in the process. In fact, Adorno is quite clear about his stance, he sees humanism and enligthenment as good, as THE aim. Enligthenment is the opposite of cancel culture, because enlightenment is being true and giving space for truth.
This is forgotten today, where woke seems to have been cut off from the root.
In fact, what religions does, ideally is not simple, it is a flexible aim, that seek to find what is good in a situation.
Evil comes in many, many, many forms. It came in nazism, no doubt about that, but it has other ways. One of them, is tyranny, other is abuse. You can have tyranny and abuse in other areas of life than just minorities.
Understanding, that evil has many ways and not just one, is important, to be able to make a good world.
Because, as Adorno actually say, that is the aim. To create a good world.
G-d bless the will to find peace, and unity across the different parts of the church.
International leadership, is a bit like being a teacher in one of the smaller classes. You have to be the one who, by your diplomatic skill, ability to make good rules, and, in rare cases, a harsh response to some of the bullies of the class, make a class with peace.
I know, I did a lot of it, when I was a teacher in the smaller classes in Aabybro, while at the same time doing some of the work I did for Barack.
It was, more or less, the same dynamics.
Most of the kids are good natured, and just want to get along and have some fun. But occasionally there is the kid, that has bad manners, and then start making trouble in the class. For a teacher, that is difficult. You have to make rules, that make the kids wanting to go along, without being too harsh to the bully.
I will give you an example. I worked with third graders here in Denmark. Some of these third graders had severe psychological problems, and were, treated wrongly, extremely agressive.
So I had to figure out a way to make the kids behave and, at least, have some peace.
My solution to the problem, was to build a small computer cafe with some left over old computers. It wasn’t much of a computercafe, but the kids could play some games, and have some fun with the other kids. Boys at that age love being together with other kids their age, and play some computergames, as long as it is social.
So I did build that cafe, and then all the kids came to join, they loved it. But there was, as always, the obligatory bully, who wanted by the virtue of his strength, and swearing, to CONTROL the other kids. Kids that age is a study into the primitive behaviour of people, left alone, the rule of the strong is the rule they abide by.
Anyway, I had to find a way, to make the kids abide by some kind of rule, that they accepted and respected, AND had the support of the parents.
These kids loves playing football a lot, so I figured, if I made a rule, that resembled football (FairPlay), it would probably be something they could relate to. So I made this rule, that IF YOU SWEARED you would get a yellow card, if you sweared again, it was another yellow card, and that was, automatically a red card. Ten minutes away from the computercafe.
It had a wonderful effect, not only was it a lot of fun to scream YELLOW CARD at the top of our lungs, but it had the effect, that the ubiquitous bully spend a little time outside of the class room, and then accepted that he was not allowed to swear. The true aim; to make everbody accept that it was common law (that you are not allowed to swear) that ruled, and not the rule of the strong, was accomplished.
AND, to make it even more of a succes, the parents really loved their kids coming home, having learned not to swear. Everybody was happy.
The point being? You have to stop being the bully, and abide by the JUST rules of a class room. The world is exactly the same. Grown ups have bigger guns, and can make a lot more damage, but the rules are exactly the same. So, to my experience, ruling the world, is not about YOU ruling, but MAKING EVERYBODY ELSE ABIDE BY SOME JUST CODE, so that ALL THE KIDS can have peace sitting in front of the computer having fun.
See? It is not about winning, it is about making just rules, so that the world is at peace.
G-d bless the will to find peace in the world.
I am not white, you know my mother was white, but I am not. Having to grow up in a community where everybody else is white, has been difficult. But it has also given me an understanding of the possibility of being together with people, even though my skin had a different hue than those around me.
Anyway, you can either take the path of agression or you can take the path of reconciliation in a situation like that.
Sometimes, you need to fight. I do it all the time. Tough, life threatening fights. I have fought a vicious fight against some kind of marauders, who are trying to kill all the trees here in Denmark. They are trying to destroy all the beautiful, living forests here in Denmark. I fought it, with all that I have of energy and ressources.
But, there is another way, often, and it is when that path is open, the path of dialogue and understanding, that we need to follow that.
It takes an adversary or opponent who is willing to be open, to discuss. This is why it is so very important, to have good teachers and academics, who are willing to sacrifice their lives in the service of our democracy. Someone, who are using their lives, to further the UNDERSTANDING between peoples.
That is what I truly believe is the answer to all the difficult discussions and fights we have had lately. Instead of dedicating ourselves to the trenches, we should always, whenever possible, seek the path of understanding.
Doing that, will be a remedy to all the animosity we experience in the wake of Trump and the reaction from the Liberals.
We should unite under the flag of understanding, and dialogue.
G-d bless the will to breach the divide. G-d bless the will to understand those around us, and find peace.
There is a kind of change in the understanding of the liberal world view. We have had Trump, that kind of underlined the extreme animosity between right and left, and then we have had Woke and cultural Marxism being all the rave, after Trump.
These extremes, as it is, are not good for anyone. Not white people, not coloured people either, it makes people come less together and be less united.
There is a deeper level of understanding in these matters, that we have to face. Cultural marxism was a trend in the US, that came from Germany with the Jewish refugees of Frankfurt. Among them Adorno and Horkheimer. This is the root of Woke.
Being a Dane, I suppose I understand Adorno and Horkheimer better than most, because we stem from the same cultural intellectual ground.
But the difference between my perspective, that of unity, and that of mr. Adorno is, that I truly believe in the democratic and cultural foundation of the great nations around in the world.
What should unite us, shouldn’t be the animosity between different groups, but should be what we have in common. What brings us together.
Where mr. Adorno, the great thinker of the 50´es saw into darkness, to understand the light. I believe, that understanding what is good in its own worth, is what should unite us. What is beautiful and gracefull, what is kind and humble, what is sincere and honest. What strives to be true and not to be lying, what will help others and not just thinks about themselves.
These virtues are what should unite us, within a good systematical frame off cause. But what is good, is what unites.
G-d bless the will to see things from a positive angle.
Ok, international security seems to be a little better. After the succesful trip to the Middle East, by mr. Joe Biden, tempers seems to be a bit less severe.
It helps, that I am supporting the American administration, and being both a jew and with a muslim father, I get a sense of understanding both sides.
Anyway, what are really the things at stake.
Essentially, leading the world is not easy. That being said, it is not impossible either. But it requires a lot of deep understanding of the world as it is.
What it truly presupposes is knowledge, of the different peoples around the world, and their history.
How the Iranians are what they are, the Egyptians, the Arab and so on.
Peace is the aim of all the endeavours of the religious, and it is possible, but difficult.
The crisis in the Ukraine is not finished, and it will continue to be fought, but in order to make peace there. We should not see the conflict as a fight against someone that we want to win, but a conflict, we need to help, to our best ability, to settle in a way, that all parties feel that they are not loosing it all. Make people not loose face.
That is difficult, but not impossible.
At the end of the day, it is all about knowledge, thinking about the world, understanding the world, and by the token of value or virtue, propel the world to a better place for all of humanity.
G-d bless the will to find peace and prosperity for all humans.
The mechanics of the discussion with the farmers I was a part of here in Denmark are like this. On the one side, you have an industrialized food production, that has some quite severe consequences for the health of the nature around it. We had this HUGE discussion about the leftover nutrients of the farming that end up in the fjords, making the fjord absolutely unlivable for the fish and marine life in general.
AT THE OTHER HAND the farmers argued the fact that WE NEED FOOD. In a world where food becomes scarcer, cutting down one of the most effective farming industries in the world, is probably not such a wise idea.
So the solution became 1. A fierce focus on technological development to reduce the use of nitrogen or fertilizer. Robots to focus the use for instance. 2. The development of new ways to grow protein like growing grasshoppers and so on. 3. Reduction of the least productive farming soil, turning this soil into production FORESTS instead.
What is REALLY important is the way it was done, it was done with a massive respect for the farmers, and with an ungoing dialogue with the NGOs of the field, and dialogue with the responsible foresters.
We had this problem that some other project called rewinding came in and ruined the proces, so that was partly a problem of bad planning. But this is how it is.
But I will not lie, it was one of the most difficult political negotiations I have ever worked on, so there is ample room for problems. As we see in Holland right now.
The only way to make it work, is to really LISTEN.
G-d bless the will to be as democratic as possible in some extremely difficult negotiations. G-d bless the will to truly have faith in DIALOGUE.
Concerning the trouble in the Netherlands, where we have seen farmers protesting the green policies of the government.
We have been through the same process in Denmark, and it was a VERY difficult negotiation. But we managed to succeed. We have made a deal, where we SUPPORT the farmers in their work in the direction of a more sustainable growing system. One of the things we have done, is to partner up with the leading industry of Israel, that makes some pretty amazing things like protein out of grasshoppers and meat made in labs.
How did we do it? We LISTENED to the farmers. They are not totally happy with the deal we have made. But the deal is made with all parties of the parliament, and it is as balanced as possible.
It does not rely on force, but on economic incentives.
When I worked on the deal, I was fortunate, to talk with a lot of the farmers. You know, I really love this crowd. Hardworking, innovative, extremely liberal. They are, in all essential meaning of the phrasing the “salt of the earth”.
They know A LOT about the land, and they are nature lovers.
They are ALSO very independent, and hate anyone deciding for them.
So my experience is, let them decide. Of cause, it had to be a development, that increases food production in an ethical way. But they off all KNOW how to make a more effective and green world.
What you need to do, to make this work is to LISTEN. Don’t force these processes on them, negotiate, try and see it from there perspective, use their knowledge and wisdom.
It can be done, if you have the sincere humility of a democratic attitude. We don’t own this world, we try to make it better, hopefully, together.
G-d bless the RESPECT for everyone involved in green work in general. And then MAKE IT LOCAL.
It has come to my ear, that the pope of the Vatican is ill.
You know, things are like this. When you have lived a long life of accomplishment and truly great deeds. The end is not so bad.
Having lived a life of making peace, and contributing to the connection between the different groups of faith, has been a truly marvel to behold.
But don’t forget Francis, if I may call you so. The mission is to bring people to spirit, to save them from a life of misery and suffering.
That is done through all means possible. Good example, great help, guidance in the service for what is good on this earth.
That job is never in vain, and will always spur us, just a little further.
G-d bless the wonderful pope of the Vatican.
Dear Volodomir Zelenski, all international bodies have tried, whatever they could, to try and alleviate the situation in Ukraine.
It has come to almost nothing.
The reason is, that Ukraine has become a part of the international game. Where we, in the Arabic spring, tried to help the Arabs becoming more humanistic and free, the reason why we in the west try and support Ukriane, has nothing to do with political ideals, but what YOU project. That of a courageous individual, that tries to survive.
Therefor, the only way for an international solution to come, is if YOU change your rethorics.
Instead of calling for help, call for a time where we can negotiate.
This does not mean, that the help has to stop, but the only one right now, that can actually move the issue, is yourself, because you have become an international celebrity.
Use that sway over the international agenda, to argue for a plan, that will, hopefully, end in peace.
When Denmark had a long fight with Germany, we ended up in making a democratic vote, where each part of Denmark wanted to stay. That was painful. But in this circumstance, a stop in the war, will help us avoid not only blood shed in Ukraine, but also Third World War.
G-d bless the will to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine and a Third World War.
Ok, the problem about the situation in the world today is like this:
Nobody listens to the other side, and poor Ukraine is in the middle getting squeezed and mauled.
Here is an analysis, that takes the perspective of both sides, to try and relate the understanding from each side.
The aim is absolutely not to make a greater conflict, but to try and make people understand the other part of the conflict. As K.E. Løgstrup say, 80% of all conflicts are just misunderstandings.
So, let us first try and see this from a Russian perspective. Russia is, more or less, getting all the benefits of the war in Ukraine, a lot of new allies, an expanse in terms of political clout all around the world. Africa is going with Russia. Why? Because Russia seems to be the one who has the best case. Donetsk is a part of Ukraine, that is Russian, in any way that it makes sense. So people around the world see it as a just cause. They won’t say it out loud, to alienate the Western alliance, but that is their perspective. In other words, the strategy, that mr. Putin has made from the beginning, that happens to be copy of how my ideas was with war, always keep the moral high ground, is getting him a sound victory. Well, it is my idea, based on an analysis of the Pelleponesian war, so I can’t say anything else, that that it is a good strategy.
Zelenski, being new to the game, has no idea about the ideas that I, as I was the main advisor for Barack Obama have made, so he fights in his own way. He has some wins, not the least his media campaign, but the world still, more or less, seem to think that Russia has the moral high ground, and they therefor go with Russia.
Now, if you turn the perspective around, and see it from the western alliance, it is more or less like this. Zelenski is a good and just president, that we have a moral obligation to support. Not only this, he also gives us an opportunity to fight the Russians by sending Zelensky a lot of weapons. So, the justification for the war lies in the faith in Zelenski. Now Zelenski is a good guy. He wants the best for his people, and he is a liberal. So, I am not to criticise him as a person, but his and his peoples METHODS are not good. We have seen horrible pictures of people tied to posts, there is the problem with the Azov unit being openly nazi and using dark magic.
So maybe the over all cause of Zelenski is right, but his methods are wrong.
So really what it all comes down to, is that there is no real right or wrong, at least when it comes to moral high ground, but the world has, more or less chosen the path that Putin is responsible for.
That is the truth, right there.
How do we then solve this dilemma? We do it by trying to minimise the pain and suffering. Fighting is terrible, people are dying. So, if we can avoid people dying, that is the way.
If we have to fight, we have to do it, precisely and reduce all cost in terms of human life. That is the only way to fight in a world where all is transparent.
Going there, step by step, is the way.
Trying to reduce our faults, and then, if we have to fight, find an ethical way.
G-d bless the peace we can find, if we try. So try.
The current presidentship of mr. Biden, has been all about leading, but it has not worked, why? Because to lead, you need to represent all those you want to lead. In Baracks time, Barack had a really good rapport with most of the leaders of that time. They really liked him, so they accepted his vision.
Right now, due to all the chaos of the world, people do not see the US as someone to lead them, they see the war in Ukraine, and they do not want to get into the mess.
So, in order to get back into the game, we need to REPRESENT all of the world. Make friends, listen to people, give them a place at the table. That is how you lead.
When Barack started, it was after Bush, and Bush is a nice guy, but he was not that strategic. Not like Reagan. Reagan was a very capable president.
So, my idea was, to turn the things around, and make the US extremely wise. Make the US, the person in the room that people respected due to his or her wisdom.
That worked. We found a balanced way of doing things, that all in the world accepted and understood, all were happy.
So this is way we did it under Barack, and that was a succes. Now we have Woke, and to be honest, I do not like Woke very much. Not because I have anything against fighting racial prejudice. I mean. I am not exactly white myself. But because it is shallow and unproductive.
I midleaning Socialdemocratic stance is better, to my mind.
Go with rev. King, who wanted to change to world through understanding and acceptance, not all this fingerpointing as what happens with woke.
So, there is that choice, go with people who unite us, or people who puts us further apart. I am all for uniting with a unifying aim.
G-d bless the United States of America.
Joe, you see, you can only rule on truth.
Man is a special animal. If uncontrolled he or she will go into the trenches and start figthting from there. But if you base your rule on truth and justice, he will accept your wisdom.
This is really the problem with Ukraine. The truth is, that first Russia annexed Sevastopol, that was filled with mainly Russians. Then the breakaway republics of Ukraine, that is Donetsk and Luhansk wanted to join Sevastopol. But Putin stopped the war, since he was pretty much satisfied with Sevastopol. But the problem remained, and forces of Ukraine fought the rebels of Donetsk with guns.
So Putin saw, that we are weak due to migration from the Middle East and attacked Ukraine. What he did not count on, is the fact, that there are no migrants in Ukraine, and they have a seasoned army, so he came into trouble.
So there are no good or bad in the situation, to be honest. There is a lot groupthinking and animosity. But there is no upper moral ground really.
So, this is the situation. If you want to lead the world, you need to be honest about the situation. And try to find a way to solve the issues around.
If not, it will spread, and create the third world war.
G-d bless the will to be honest and true about the situation in Ukraine.
Ok Joe, things are not looking that good.
First of all, it is because you have started a war in Ukraine. I really support mr. Zelenski, he is a very nice person. But the war is devasting and pointless.
Why? Because it is motivated by the fact that UKRAINE has shelled and bombed the Russians in Donetsk. So the Russians REACT to this. If you see it as an unmotivated agression from Russia, you do not really get the motivation of the Russians.
They are there to protect the Russian minorities. As a consequence, Russia has a lot of support in the Russian populace, becuase, they are themselves Russian, so they support other Russians from being shelled.
So, where does this leave you? It leaves you at a situation, where you need to MAKE PEACE!
Senseless wars is not a good thing. Just sending more and more weapons to the Ukrainians just makes more violence, more deaths and so on.
So what should you do. You should MAKE PEACE NOT WAR!
If you do that, you can actually concentrate on the Chinese advesary, that is a true geopolitcal opponent.
The next thing you need to do. Is to support India. India is an ally, and they are going through a Mohammed cartoon crisis. To be a leader, you need to support those you lead in a troubled times. Go to India, not to directly go against the muslims there, but to show solidarity in trying times for India.
The third thing you REALLY need to do, is to donate some money to Rubicon, because supporting UN does not give you anything, Rubicon does, and it is pretty difficult to help you, while as the danish authorities are suffocating me.
Anyway, you are supposed to MAKE PEACE. Do that and things will, albeit slowly, turn in your direction.
G-d bless the will to be a peacemaker not a warmonger.
One of the greatest minds and strenghts of this very earth, is the Queen of the British. Or to be fair, the Queen of England.
This amazing beacon of national identity and integrity has held the post of queen for 70 years, the longest serving monark on the throne of the british, ever.
In a world of loss of identity and destruction of the national cohesion, such a strongwilled person is very important. She is always and will always be the endbar of all the dissillusionment.
I have fought alongside her, proudly, to bring to bear the independent of the british isles. An act, that will be seen, in the memory of those who come in the future as THE pivoting moment of England. Once again the british lion roared. To be a part of such an endevour, will, forever, be a mark of brilliance of her majestys reign.
To have been a small part of that endevaour, brings both pride and endless humility to me.
I am thankful for having had the opportunity to support the majesty and her best men in her fight for independence.
Thank you your majesty, and a humble kneeling I do, as one knight of the realm.
G-d bless the victory of the Queen of England!
I have not really been able to comment on the international news these past year or something. The reason is a volley of attacks. The minister of culture, the local mayor, secret service, the list goes on and on.
To be fair, I have had some help from the queen and the prime minister. Especially the prime minister seems to have been able to rein in the secret service a bit. So that I am thankful for.
The onslaught has been relentless, but seems to be vaning off a bit now.
The battlefield is just one big mess, and it will take years to settle alle these issues, but that is the way it is with power hungry bastards that are everywhere.
Anyway, thanks for the help I have had, and I don´t even really know who tried to help. So whoever did chip in to stop the relentless onslaugth by all the evil people seeming to try and circle me, thank you.
If and when the dust settles. I will try and support the peace process from here on.
G-d bless the will to follow the angels in their quest for peace and harmony.
Israel needs to wake up. We are slowly sliding towards a strategic situation that is not in Israels interest.
So far, we are still relatively neutral. But the push of Islamic Jihad and Hamas on Israel, is tearing at our relation with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the other Arab nations. This cannot continue.
Either we secure the relationship, or we loose the relationship. Yes, for now Israel still has a friend in mr. Putin, but if Putin is swallowed by the war in Ukraine, who knows what will come to the fore.
I know, that this seems pretty academic, but the fact of the matter is, that we need allies. As the situation is in the relation to the US, this is also getting a bit strained.
So we need to get the ground situation under control. Whatever it takes for a peaceful solution. Use force, coercion, whatever it takes. We need to be proactive towards the Arabs, to keep them as allies.
My own situation here in Denmark is getting precarious as well. I don’t want to be enemy of the Arabs. But if they ally themselves with Russia and starts to turn Sweden into a caliphate, this is problem for the entire scandinavian peninsula.
So, please, get into the game. Be a player, make friends with the US, and the Arabs, and keep the peace.
G-d bless the will to find peace in the world.
The current situation is heading for a mass war in Europe. That is really the situation. I am not saying this because I want it, absolutely not. But we need to be clear about the development to try and steer Europe away from the looming catastrophe.
I know, I have been more realistic in the latests posting. We have a two front war, or even three front war.
If we push the Ukraine war, it will spread, and the ground work is laid out for a catastrophe of a conflict.
If Sweden enters the war, Saudi Arabia will give the potential ok for a mass mobilisation of the muslims of a more right wing understanding in Sweden. So Sweden is caught between a hammer and the anvil. Sweden will never survive this pincer push.
Yes it is Swedens own stupidity and naivety that has brought it to this, but the war on Sweden will be devastating anyway. People will die in the most horrible way.
So, there is actually a small chance of nuclear war, but there is a very real risk of a caliphate in Sweden.
Not to mention the situation in France, that has been in a state of alarm since the Charlie Hebdo attack. These things are real. The UK is faring, comparably better, but to be honest, after Luthfur Rahman won the election in East London, who knows what will happen in the UK. The situation is dire there as well. We are living in a tinder box, and everybody are trying to light the fire.
It reminds me very much of the situation before the First World War.
We risk destroying Europe as such, at least central Europe.
Essentially it is all up to Joe, and the Democratic administration. How long are we willing to go Joe? I know that Russia is an enemy, but destroying Europe.
I might be wrong, and I certainly hope so, but the option of peace is still on the table, so please consider this.
G-d bless the will to find peace.
Well, it is a problem, that the US strategic concerns seem to be vacuumed into new constellations, that it is not really interested in.
Let us have a look at it.
First of all. Mr. Obama made a political shift from focusing on Russia, to focusing on China, as the main adversary.
To be honest, that was, partially, a fault. It made it possible for Russia, to grow and pose a much greater threat, than what we expected.
This ties into the gas pipe from Russia to Germany, that has made it possible for Russia to hold some sway over Central European politics.
At the other hand, it has made the case for a renewed, healthy competition between China and the US. There has been a lot of political will to get the production of American goods back to the US, and this is good for the US long term, and gives the workers a job, another good thing. The endless siphoning of jobs to China, is a great threat to working communities. Not only in the US, but also in Europe as such.
This creates, in practice, a situation, where we are kind fighting on two fronts at once. Since the tools are different in each scenario, it makes sense.
Mr. Kissinger was of the intention, that the US should focus on Russia and not on China. I was of the intention, that we should focus on China and not on Russia. Now the situation is, that we focus on both, at the same time fighting radical islam.
So we can actually do it.
The problem about the strategy of fighting three wars at a time, is 1. It requires some pretty amazing balancing to make it work. 2. It is a pretty difficult for our allies, to fight in all three scenarios at one time.
So what is the logical conclusion. We need to roll with the punches. If there is an increase in hostility in the pacific, we need to counter that. At the same time, we need to roll with punches in Europa as well.
So we need to be playing two or three games at once.
First of all, the great threat in Europe is actually, as mr. Erdogan pointed out, besides from Russian agression. Islamist agression in Northern Europe. Al Qeada, Hamas, Islamic jihad are, covertly, operating from especially Sweden. Incorporating Sweden into NATO poses a great risk therefor.
Seen from a strictly defense political view, this is a great problem. There are 30% muslims in Sweden, and they pose a pretty heavy threat to not only the political system in Sweden, but also to the surrounding countries. We are much better prepared in Denmark and Norway, but when the s…. hits the fan, things are going to get ugly.
Add to this, the newfound friendship between Saudiarabia and Russia. The coordination between the islamists and Russia is a potential.
This is not about racism, I am not talking color here, I am talking islamists and radical terrorists.
Sweden seems to have lost control of great parts of its territory, so that basket of problems is going to explode sooner or later. Sweden can of cause make a massive mobilisation towards Russia, and they are doing that, but this still does not tackle the islamists.
My idea has been to try and evacuate and repatriate the islamists out of Europe, before we get to a real war, and start killing each other. But this seems to be against some sentiment of humanism in Europe. As if war is much more humane. I have tried to defuse the situation.
But, this gets us to the main point. War is coming to Europe, and we need to be clear on our targets. We also need to realise, that there are two opponents. Russia and the islamists (not all muslim), and we need to prepare for even a more aggressive Russia.
In the Chinese situation it is the same. China uses the opportunity to curb the freedoms of Hong Kong, and seem to linger close to Taiwan. As Russia is, more or less, loosing the war in Ukraine, as it stands, China is waiting to put its bets.
But we never know, what will come out of it.
So we need also, to prepare here.
G-d bless the will to understand the threats of security in Europa as well as in the pacific ocean.
Well, first of all, what we miss in the face of Third World War, is someone, to talk people down.
This used to be my critical role, as an international agent of Change. But lately the wardrums are beating nonetheless.
But, and perhaps this is a small glimmer of hope, the theories are evolving, and eventually one says, that the pen is stronger than the sword.
As a part of the process of understanding g-d, I have contacted mr. Holger Bech Nielsen. Mr. Bech is one of the leading physicists of the world. The smartest man of Denmark, some people call him.
He was instrumental in developing quantum physics and has some thrilling theories on time and space that he has developed as the heir to Newton, Niels Bohr and Einstein.
The closest call to an Einstein character in the world. Very wonderful person, with a huge engagement in nuclear physics. He has a piece of the atom named after him, and so on.
So I gathered my fleeting courage to call this amazing person, and lo and behold, he actually called me back. I was in the middle of my evening routines with the kids, so I kind of had to talk physics and metaphysics while feeding the kids, and making the beds. That was multitasking.
Anyway, we had a VERY interesting conversation. Nuclear physics traditionally see itself as an heir to the greek philosopher Democritus, but the fact is, according to my research, that there was a few philosophers BEFORE Democritus, that Democritus was inspired by. First of all Plato who discussed metaphysics in his main work Timeaus, a theory that has a close relation to the theories of an atomic physicist called Anaxagoras.
Both Plato and Democritus was inspired by Anaxagoras, that I have done a lot of research on, relating Anaxagoras to Plato, Darwin and Democritus.
The thing about Anaxagoras is, that not only is he the founder of nuclear physics. For a long time the strand of nuclear physicist in Ancient Greece was called either atomicists or Anaxagoreans, he also devised a beautiful theory (the first recorded theory of nuclear physics). He has a much broader cosmology (theory of the universe) than what we usually know about the hellenic classics.
So, I told mr. Bech about Anaxagoras, and that I wanted to discuss the connection between theology and physics and my work on Anaxagoras.
First he kind of listened to what I was saying, politely. When he discovered, that I have dug up some ancient theory of the birth of nuclear physics, he was really interested, and when I told him about the cosmology of Anaxagoras, he got REALLY interested.
Mr. Bech is one of the persons, who have been quite active in discussion Big Bang theory, and when he heard, that Anaxagoras has a theory of the start of the universe, that is close to the Big Bang theory, but with som REALLY interesting twists, it really caught his attention. We may be able to further the theories of the birth of the universe with the theories of Anaxagoras. Mainly, what caught mr. Bechs attention, is the idea of Anaxagoras, that centrifugal power plays a very decisive role in the birth of the universe. Anaxagoras has this idea, that centrifugal power is a main power in the whole mechanics of the universe. Everything turns around. Planets, solar systems, galaxies. So perhaps centrifugal power is the missing link in Big Bang theories, that still has a lot of loose ends. Since mr. Bech is one of the main inventors of the Big Bang theories, it makes sense, that he may be able to use the ideas of Anaxagoras in his work.
So in the end, at least in our first conversation, it was actually the physicist who got something out of the conversation. Which I, for one, is quite happy with. I want to prove the existence of G-d in a platonic light, but I am very happy to share knowledge with the physicist. Perhaps in this way, we can find some common ground between religion and science.
G-d bless the will to find healing between religion and science in this modern world. And g-d bless the peace of the world.
What is going on with social media?
Mr. Musk has just bought Twitter, I have, for a long time criticised social media quite a lot, and everybody are essentially really tired of social medias political bend of censorship.
I for one, have been a proponent of control with social media, if it does not comply to basic rules of democratic dialogue. To put censorship in the hands of fanatical leftwingers, is not the way democracy is supposed to work. Democracy is a system, where all are free to speak.
I get it, the destructiveness of negative dialogue in social media often make social media so toxic, that we need to do something. But just censuring on the basis of cultural marxism, which is the de facto norm today, is cultural marxism tyranny. That is the truth of it.
A healthy democracy makes room for all opinions, in fact a healthy democracy keeps the world open.
I know, that now comes the metaverse and all that, but the internet was devised as a tool to make people speak across the aisle, thereby, hopefully, making peace.
This is very, very important to truly remember.
I know, that the IT tycoons are rich, powerful and often pretty good looking 🙂
But my argument is, that if we FORGET the ideals our world was built on, then the rest of society will react very negatively.
I know, that I am, in internet years, an ancient being. But mr. Niels Bohr, who founded the internet in terms of ideology, he wanted to stop world war three by making the world more open, he was dead before I was even born. So my point is, maybe tech develops with a scaring pace, but the ideals remain the same.
We have the problem of negative flaming and trolling. This I get, but we should still keep the dialogue OPEN.
G-d bless the will to find peace through understanding.

Ok Zelenski, this is your window of opportunity. The Russians have, in their violent and destructive way, tought you a lesson to their power. Don’t underestimate the Russians. Napoleon underestimated the Russians, Hitler underestimated the Russians, and the result was the end of both Napoleon and Hitler. Right?
Idealism has a strange way of finding its end ind the endless ressources of the Russians. That is the historical experience.
At the other hand, truth is, Russia is a REACTIVE force. It has spread itself east in a thousand years, not once been imperialistic in the other direction. Why? Because that is what it has been from the beginning, a viking culture spreading east. It started from Sweden and Denmark, and then just spread east.
So, seen from this mindset, the solution to your problem of mr. Putin, is to find a balance between your needs of security and peace, and the needs of mr. Putins of stability and security.
Putin is fighter.
So what he respects, is a man. A man of honour and integrity. He respects a man that talks and walks in the same way.
So in order to end the destructive war, what you need to do, is to make a small step, and then apply it. Make small steps, and then see, if Putin is ok with that.
Step by step, and then keep your words.
There is no figuring things out or being smarter than everybody else. I mean, I for one REALLY have the sympathy for BOTH Ukraine and Russia. I hope for a peace deal. And I am not stupid.
The same goes for mr. Putin. You can say a lot about him, but one thing is certain, you cannot outfox him. Being honest with him will work much better.
These are the ways of peace dealing. Finding trust, so that you can actually make deals.
G-d bless the peace we hope to find in the destructive wars of Ukraine.
Ok, so now mr. Musk has bought Twitter. To me, that is good news. I have, recently, criticised social media a lot, because to me, as a Democratic philosopher, it goes against what public dialogue is supposed to do.
What is public dialogue supposed to do? It is supposed to create a frame around the democratic institutions, so that the politicians are inspired to do good decisions.
In other words, if there is a problem in society, politicians try to understand the public debate, and serve the public by applying the conclusions the debate finds.
So that is why freedom of speech is such a vital virtue. Because without free speech, how are the citizens supposed to discuss difficult issues?
It is exemplified in the example of Socrates, who went to his death, because he did not want to relinquish his criticism of what he saw was wrong. So it became a pillar of Democracy.
Social media has not observed this basic tenant of Democracy, but has started censuring ad lib. This is simply illegal according to the very constitutions of the different democratic states.
I understand it, because social media is also just a business, and they are making money. So too much fuss and anger is not good for business.
But, as I have said before, Social media is the realisation of the very idea of the internet. The founding fathers of the internet were actually great thinkers and technicians, before social media, they had dreams and vision, of an open world.
To forget this, just to make money, is against the very idea of the internet.
So what we need, is a balance.
At one hand, discussion needs to be open. At the other hand, I understand, that the toxicity of the debate is often counterproductive.
What we need to do, is have an open debate on all issues, but ask for a good tone. Right? All this yelling and cursing that is going on, is not good for an open debate.
So ideally, there is a kind of school teacher process that needs to start. People needs to talk in a nice way, and if they start flaming and cursing people, they should, somehow, be told not to that, or..
But the debate should be free. Mr. Niels Bohr dreamt of a world, where we are able to meet people in trust, thereby creating peace.
These days, it works, to some degree. We are actually able to understand what is going on in the world, but the censorship based on a POLITICAL VIEW that is the norm in most social media, is a step in the wrong direction.
We need openness, in both code and dialogue, everybody should be welcome, as long as they search for truth and gives space for argument.
G-d bless the open world the founding fathers of the internet envisioned, and let be strengthened not weakened.
Dear Zelensky, the reason why Mariupol and other cities are destroyed, is because you have no experience with war and making peace.
As a result of the last peace deal, the Russians drew back a bit. To show, that they were serious about making a peace deal. It was a big chance. But, instead of drawing back the Ukrainian troops, you decided to bomb targets in Russia.
I mean, if you really want peace, you should show that you understand and respect the peace offering of the Russians. Russia have NOT used its full force yet, why? Because their main aim, is to occupy only Donbas, get Ukraine out of the negotiations with NATO, and then have friendly relationships with Ukraine.
They have relinquished their demand of demilitarization, still the denazification is on the table. And maybe that is not negotiable.
But you have to respond in kind with what Russia is doing. If you force the Russians to be cruel, they will, even though it is wrong.
So if you want peace, make a deal with the Russian, and draw back at the same pace as the Russians are. At least do not see the peace offering as weakness. It is peace offering, and not weakness.
G-d bless the will to make peace in the Ukraine\Russia conflict.
The new plans of mr. Boris Johnson of making camps in Africa, to send migrants to, has made a bit of a discussion in the UK. In Scandinavia it has led to an easter rebellion of palestinians, burning and destroying. So this whole idea, has had some effect already.
One of the main criticisers of the idea was the rev. Archbishop Justin Welby, whom I hold dear as a friend and see as a moral lighthouse. He is a good guy, no doubt about it. Also the bishop of York is against it.
This creates a division within the conservative camp, and lets see, if we can discuss this.
Morality comes down to protection of the weak. If you hurt someone, and you do it on purpose, that is wrong.
That is why we do not like the school bully, and have rules for social interaction. Law is there to protect the weak.
This is applied to the migrant, who are obviously weak. They have nothing, and nothing protects them.
At the other hand, the effect of mass migration to the UK and West Europe in general, has created, especially in blue collar communities massive conflicts of culture. Often spilling into civil strife of the worst kind. So blue collar communities are very upset with the development, and has therefor given their vote to mr. Johnson, since the socialists have no idea about their predicament, and seem to have abandoned the worker as a social group, supporting gays, people of color and lesbians instead.
This is not to say, that there is something wrong with being gay. I am just trying to discuss the moral base of the whole development.
So we have, in practise, a dilemma. On the one hand, we can stop the migrants coming to working communities, thereby protecting the workers, or we can protect the migrants, thereby putting the workers in harms way.
This is a moral dilemma.
The attempted solution to the problem, is to protect BOTH migrants and workers, by making a refugee camp in Africa that has all the facilities of a good refugee camp. A camp where the migrants can learn, have skills, and perhaps a route to a better life, with new skills.
This effectively solves the problem.
I know, that it has to work, in order for it to function. We have to see it in action.
There are many things we do not know about the project, if it will work. And we have to work on that. But we have to do something, otherwise we end up harassing and hurting the workers, who have no guilt, and we are supposed to support.
Leaving the poor working communities to their own fate is, in my view just as great a sin as not taking care of the migrants.
So, these are the arguments, and I hope, we can have an enlightened discussion on the subject.
G-d bless the will to be fair to all implied.
The UN does not make any sense these days. I really agree with mr. Zelensky. I mean, what is the point of gathering, if there is no effect?
We can talk and talk, but what is the point, if the horrors are just endlessly continuing on the ground?
To the defense of the UN one must say, that the UN has no military wing, and should not have a military wing. Because it serves as a diplomatic institution.
But what is it that the UN lack?
It lacks authority.
Nobody wants to listen to a gathering of independently warmongering countries, that all see their own ends as important. Authority lies in the ability and motivation of a party to throw itself into the work of making peace.
Israel is the way, as I see it. To make a new UN. Because it has the necessary authority.
Meanwhile, the UN is what we are supposed to work with, but it doesn’t.
Well, you all have me. A simple, poor blogger, to try and alleviate the diplomatic train.
And as that inferior blogger, and as Zelensky said himself, not always able to be the one to make peace. Because of my stupid situation. My message is loud and clear. There is a path to peace. It is the motivation, that is the problem.
Nobody in the international community really wants peace, because the war serves purposes of internal character. It is, to be absolutely honest, a healthy and convenient thing for the West European nations to have a supervillain in Putin.
The problem about that situation is, that what we sacrifice in our own internal process of vilifying Putin, be it just or not just, is Ukrainians.
To look at the conflict from a humane perspective, it makes sense to think a bit less about the unity that an external villain gives us, and a bit more about the poor, hapless victims of this war, that happen to be people, civilians and others in Ukraine.
I for one, understand the mechanics of war, and have tried to stem the avalanche of destruction, that is the effect of European wars.
Not vilifying, but still supporting of the Ukraine.
Zelensky is a hero to the world, he deserves our selfless support. Not a support that serves ourselves.
Otherwise WE are the ones who put the Ukrainians to the meat grinder.
At the other hand, Bucha is wrong.
That is the bottom line of the war. Bucha is wrong, and my hope is, that this war soon meets it end. Because at the end of the day. No one is served by a humiliated Russia and no one is served by a destroyed Ukraine.
Everyone deserves a shot at happiness and peace.
G-d bless the will to find peace, ultimately a peace with winners of all kind. Russians and Ukrainians. G-d bless the will to find a way to negotiate with the aim of a true and lasting solution to the situation in Ukraine.
In the Ukraine war, the situation is like this. First the Russians just wanted to make a deal with the Ukrainians, that is they wanted to demilitarize Ukraine and liberate/occupy Donetsk.
But at the beginning of the war, mr. Zelenski wanted to fight. So he fought, something that surprised the Russians, who were not prepared for a fight. So he won some inital victories. Also due to the fact, that the Russians fought under a strict non agressive order. They just wanted to force Ukraine to negotiate.
Then, as the war went on, and Ukraine did not want to negotiate, the russians changed tactics, and started a more agressive line. Destroying infrastructure, being less carefull. Add to this, a waning morale in Ukraine, the horrors started. Terrible sacriledge of humanity, as always in war.
Then Zelenski started to show inclinations of dialogue, and to support this the Russian drew back.
This was misunderstood by Zelenski, who felt he was winning, and started to feel confident in his chances. So he put away the notion of peacetalks, and started talking about not giving territory to Russia, that is the Donets region, that was the issue in the first place.
So now the Russians are angry, and threaten to eradicate Ukraine.
It all comes down to one thing. The Donetsk region. Who is going to control that region.
Well, in the end, the power that has the tenacity and firepower to hold Donetsk will be the ones to hold Donetsk. It is really as simple as that.
Then what motivates soldiers? They fight for something. The Ukrainans fight for their independence, and the Russians fight for their indepence.
Therefor, in the end, the most probable result will be a divided Ukraine. Divided into Ukraine proper and Donetsk, that will be a part of Russia.
If this is the case anyway. A good idea would be to make this happen instead of ending up in this situation as a result of a long a vicious war.
People from Ukraine and Russia are brothers, and should be their keepers and not their enemies. Hopefully this is the result in the end.
Until that we can only pray for peace.
G-d bless the will to find peace in the end.
Mr. Volodomyr Zelenski held a beautiful and extremely well composed speech to the Danish parliament a few days back, and it has kind of filtered down into the Danish society.
These are the main takes on the speech after it has been discussed in Denmark.
First of all, Denmark is REALLY supportive in terms of helping Ukraine back on its feet after the war. We know, that rebuilding the country will be an extremely difficult task. Especially the building industry have responded positively to a possible rebuilding of the city Mykolajiv.
We will rebuild it, however the people of Ukraine wishes it to be rebuilt. All the officials of Mykolajiv need to do, is to call upon the Danish officials, and we will make it happen. The war is entering its last phase, and after that, Ukraine needs to be rebuilt
The next thing you can think about Volodomyr is HOW to rebuild Ukraine.
Before the war, the country was riddled with corruption, and abuse of public finances. This is a true chance to change this negative dynamics.
How? Hire some of the best auditors of the world, to see the rebuilding through. Again, we have some very good auditors in Denmark, if you need help with auditing, we will support you.
But, my point is. If you make sure, from the beginning, to make the rebuilding to the very letter of the auditing process, you can rebuild the culture of Ukraine, starting a culture of incorruptibility.
Some of the best civil servants are supposed to be the British, maybe, Britain can help you in this regard. Open the schools of Britain, for the civil servants of Ukraine, to teach them how to make a good civil service.
Then there is the discussion on what comes after in terms of system. One thing is for sure. It has to be viking in some way.
The people of Ukraine are descendants of the vikings from Denmark and Sweden, so it has to reflect this heritage.
How, to do this? Well, Voltaire is pretty clear about this. It is about making a system where each citizen is FREE.
Again, what freedom, how to do this, is a many layered answer, but this is something we should discuss. How do we make a frame around the Ukrainians that gives them freedom.
And again. I know, that you want to be a part of EU, be careful of that. Because that is a straightjacket and they are immensely corrupt. So be careful.
Play the cards you have now, to make a Ukraine, that is strong and independent. In this way, you will satisfy the demands of the right wing, and you can path a way, where you have the most in terms of flexibility towards the powers around you.
Be free Volodomyr, and you will be able to make a state, that will survive and thrive.
G-d bless the will to make a free state of Ukraine.
In the war in Ukraine, the tolls of death is so high, that the suffering of people is almost impossible to fathom.
This is due to the nature of the conflict. Mechanised warfare at the scale we are witnessing creates these devastations.
In this situation, there should be no doubt about the stance of Israel. That of peace.
It seems to me, that Zelenski is finally ready to talk. This opportunity should not be passed over. Israel should use all is political capital, and try to reach out for Putin. Maybe this is an opportunity for peace to truly start.
But it has to be motivated and actually be put into action.
If anything seems to appear in terms of a true peace, then we all should support this.
Finding a peace in the end, is what is all it is about. People are dying, their homes are falling apart.
The human suffering is the meter we should use to understand what is right and wrong.
G-d bless a peace that is illusive, but yet not gone. G-d bless the friendship between Israel, Ukraine and Russia.
Listen, we have to have some kind of an idea about an endgame in Ukraine. What is it, that we wish to make of the war between Russia and Ukraine that is raging right now?
My experience is, going to war is easy, winning is difficult, but creating some kind of system out of the conflict is the most difficult.
When Barack and I went to a very idealistic war in North Africa, we had a huge succes in the war. Democracy was at the forefront of our thoughts, and we really, really tried to make Democracies out of the Northern African countries. But the fact of the matter was, that we did win the war, but we messed up the peace.
There is a very real risk involved in the Ukraine war right now, that there is no peace worth having at the other side of war.
So my best advice, right now, would be for the West, to think about what comes after. How are we going to rebuild Ukraine? What are the ideals we strive for?
Are we going to free the Ukrainians, and then if they are freed, how are we going to make a sound system afterwards?
My best advise would be to think about institutions from the beginning, and then be dead serious. Not just involve an ambassador or two. But make a full institutional remake of Ukraine, send them our best thinkers, and give Ukrainians the ressources to rebuild their country.
Also, make it possible for Ukrainians to come home, and start the rebuilding at once. This way, we forsee some of the conflicts that will come with all the refugees roaming around Europe. We need to help Ukraine on their feet as fast as possible. Make a Marshall plan, but include the motive to make sound, uncorrupted institutions.
Then, perhaps, we can give hope.
G-d bless the will to keep hoping.
Ok, the situation is, as it stands like this:
Both parties are, more or less in the same position regarding ethics. It is a war, I know, you loose a war, if you do not fight it. But Ukraine has the Azov batallion, Russia have the Kadyrov batallion.
At the wargames, more or less the same. I know, that Russian agresssion against Ukraine is most covered in the media. But the truth is, that Ukraine has fought a war, with some of the same amount of agression in the breakaway republics.
So here again, both parties are at the same level, when it comes to fighting against a people.
At the same time, both nations do share, more or less, the same culture, same cultural roots, and the same amount of wealth when it comes to richness of art, language, and history. You both come from us here in Scandinavia.
So, the similaritites, brotherhood and family is larger than they are small.
Such common ground is a basis to find each other, at least in the basic willingness to find some way to find a warm community of brothers.
That is really the heart of the matter, to understand what is shared. Not what tears a part.
The West is not trying to mend the fences between the two nations, but I, and the rest of the Jewish community would try and help you finding your brothers.
G-d bless brotherhood, not of man, but between Ukraine and Russia.
Zelenski. You want a compromise, fine. This includes you giving something, and Putin giving something.
I have hinted on the possibility of you remaining in power, at KEEPING a strong military precense in Ukraine. This is what Putin did not want. At the other hand, Ukraine needs to recognise the breakaway republics and the Crimea.
This will leave both parties with something that is actually worth each. AND it will make Ukraine independent from NATO. You can make your own future.
All this oratory, it serves no purpose. It is engaging, you are good at it. But, it is not about your speeches, it is about all those lives lost in the war. Each life lost is a father lost, a child lost, a friend lost.
So that is a realistic compromise, that you get your true independence, as will the breakaway republics. All are coming out with a partial win, which is a compromise.
Otherwise, what is your alternative?
G-d bless the lives of those lost in a war, that is terrible, but CAN find compromise.
Zelenski, listen. I have been a blazing hero once. When I started my work as a blogger and political philosopher, I shook the world. The dynamics was astounding, and I felt like riding a wave.
You know what happened. I ended in a corner, the system did all it could to shut me up, they still do, and I have tried to survive ever since.
And, in a way, I get it. Because blazing heroes end up making a lot of trouble for the world. So, the world will applause you, and try to steal some of your glory, but at the end of the day, most leaders are pretty pragmatic, and they do not want war. A little war perhaps, that can be controlled but Third World War, not a chance.
So, after realising this. I began to use my talent to create a better world, use diplomacy, strengthen the international trends towards peace and prosperity for all in the world.
So now my job is to make peace, and hopefully realise that in my lifetime.
Point is, in the heat of the moment, to be a hero is a beautiful thing, but it does not matter. What matters is to make a frame around the citizens of each country, that may give them peace and stability.
Now, what is the potential win of Ukraine, to still hold Donbass and Luhansk, is that is winning scenario?
Maybe it is, but at the end, it is up to the citizens of the rebel republics, not anybody else, they choose.
There is the most honour in giving up your own self to your people. That is the greatest honour, to sacrifice yourself in the interest of your people.
How to do that is up to you. Dont count on much support from outside, a little, but there will not be much, look at the interests.
The West has supported Ukraine in all ways that it could, but we are not into a Third World War.
That is the base line.
At the other hand, finding a peace, that will satisfy both Ukraine and Russia is the only way this conflict can end without loosing the honour of each country.
How do you make that deal? You do it, by sacrificing your own honour in the interest of your people. Your people needs to be safe, not win international honour.
This is the way of the hero, that has been through it all, and decided to find peace as an aim of ones project. Not a humiliating peace, but a peace, where Ukraine remains independent, with a strong army.
G-d bless the will to be at peace, but a honourful peace, and g-d bless the sacrifice that Zelensky is soon to make, may he live to be a hero.
It is not so difficult to understand what to do in Ukraine, IF you see the development of the European continent in the light of European history.
We are all descendants of the great culture that inhabited the Mediterranean in the classical times. Philosophy deriving from Ancient Greece, Egypt and even further away I the Middle East. Illustrious civilisations as the Phoenician and Persian.
So, what we need to ask ourselves in relation to Ukraine is; what is it we strive for? Ukrainians descend from Denmark and Sweden. So essentially this country is a viking country, with the traditions of the democratic constitutions that was here a thousand years ago. So a sound democracy is necessary to meet the philosophical and constitutional needs of the Ukraine. It should be a free country. Free in the way of the government. Free in the sense of the individual sovereignity, and free in the making of a true democratic country.
BUT, and this is where Ukraine needs to be honest with itself. Will it be able to make these things work? A democratic constitution demands a high sense of personal integrity. Each man is a tower of honour, in a good democratic society. This means, that bureaucracy, needs to be honest.
If you finish the war, and end up in a system that is ripe with nepotism and dishonesty, the whole conflict would be for nothing.
You should use the valour you have fought with, to infuse the new state, with integrity. Use your experience for a positive development of your society.
Make it a young state again, free and honest.
In this way, maybe it will be a war fought for something worth while, something that will make a better nation, and sounder frame around the citizens of Ukraine.
In this way, maybe the peace you win, will make you able to be friends with Russia again.
G-d bless the will to seek understanding of what is the right and wrong in this conflict. G-d bless the will to peace in the end. G-d bless the understanding of each of us, as essentially good, and not bad. May peace descend on the wartorn country.
The conflict in and around Ukraine has reached a climax. Either we start a really devastating war, or we find some kind of solution to the problem.
Seen in the light of the Second World War, this could lead to terrible mayhem, “peace in our time”, would be a word not remembered anymore.
But, if we see through our own needs, and look for a true compromise, that may give each part a victory on political priorities, that is important to each part of the conflict, we may be able to attain peace.
First of all, what is it that Ukraine really want. Have you thought about that? Is it independence, self satisfaction, justice, equality. What is it you want. If you are able to formulate that, in a difficult situation, with bombs flying around your ears, we can start the negotiation.
Secondly, how do we attain these goals. We do it, by making a sound plan, for the betterment of BOTH Ukraine as well as Russia.
It has to be a balanced peace deal. Not a deal, that one part feels more above the other. Harmony comes from equality.
Finding that equal terms, for both parties, is the only way to find peace in our time.
G-d bless the will to make peace, and stop the suffering.
Ok, so I have given some thought to the role Israel might play in the current conflict between Putin and Zelenski.
First of all, be carefull. Going into the conflict will risk the political capital of not only Israel but Jews in general. If it goes sideways, all Jews will pay, and it can potentially undermine Israels current role as a relatively neutral part that Israel has in the Middle East.
At the other hand, Israel CAN win some international political capital, IF we are able to fulfil the promise of Israel, and that is to BRING PEACE.
As of now, the UN does not play a role in international peacekeeping anymore, essentially Rubicon.dk has taken over the role of the UN, crazy as it sounds.
This is something that Israel can play a role in. Because it is absolutely absurd for a one little nerdy blogger to be able to make peace in all corners off the world. I can do somethings, but as of now, I am in a lot of fights here in Denmark, where the police is trying to shut me up, again, and my ressources are truly few. I have to put food on the table for me and my kids, so doing international peacekeeping is a hobby for me. That is a very shaky foundation to put the health of milions of people in.
Danes don’t get it, and they keep on harassing me, so that is my life and reality.
A pretty obvious step to take to strengthen the international clout of Israel would be to make a virtual office for me in Israel. Let Israel be the player that may underpin my efforts to make peace in the world.
This could, potentially, give me a more stable situation, and Israel a lot more clout in the international game.
And yes, it will realise the aim of both zionism and Israel, to be the light upon the nations.
I know, that this is a big and scary step for Israel, to really get involved. But Israel is what it is, the light upon the nations, and only if it realises this aim of its ideology, will it have a chance for survival in the long run. Right now, I do this in practise, and if Israel combines its purpose with the actual work I do, Israel will have a chance to survive in the long run. Making it a permanent house for all jews.
G-d bless the chance we have, to make Israel the light upon the nations, and may we realise this in our time.
The Ukraine conflict has become both extremely honourful for Ukraine, and at the same time shows the ambiguity of the Western alliance.
I have, from the start, called for diplomacy, but I understand, that the Ukrainian people and leadership fight for their freedom.
I hope, that, somehow, peace will come. The price in human cost is mounting, and those fathers not coming back from war, will never be replaced.
So, full respect for the Ukrainians, they have deserved the honour and respect from the world, as they have won. With that, also support in many, many forms.
The question remains, should the west enter the conflict? Well, we have entered already. But we have, so far, left out direct involvement. Especially air support is needed by the Ukrainians, and honestly, if there was something we SHOULD give the Ukrainians, it should be air support.
At the other hand, we have in the the West, become united for a cause, that is a new normal. The beautiful thing about it, is the fact, that it calls to the best in ourselves. Unity, freedom, solidarity. What we are, when we are at our best.
We should remember this lesson, and build on that. No more control of the population, just be ourselves, and invest in that vibe of French/American revolution.
Investment calls for more arms. I mean, it should be pretty clear, that we need to be able to defend ourselves.
Also it calls for a focus on independence in terms of energy consumption.
We need to able to make our own energy.
Combine this with an investment in green tech, we can actually use this terror, to propel ourselves in a positive direction.
We need to get the power to x system up and running. And build energy production, that can fuel our economies.
It will take a little while, but we are getting there. With the right kind of attention, in ten, twenty years, we will be independent in terms of energy production.
To explain. The new power to X tech, can take any electrical energy source, and make any kind of fuel. Fuel for sailing, driving and making things in industry. You can take atomic energy, windmills, solar panel created energy, and make it into fuel.
We also need to be honest about the threat of internal infiltration of islamists. Still a problem at large in most of Western Europe, and we NEED to face it.
So, if we use this kick in the behind in a constructive way, we can propel ourselves out of the quagmire. We need to be independent in terms of energy, and we need to be much, much stronger in terms of military prowess.
It will cost us, but it is necessary.
G-d bless the will to look things squarely in the eyes, and act for liberty, humanity and brotherhood.
So the world has changed again, in a sense. The old world order, where everthing was a cat and mouse game has finished, and we are again in a situation, where war is the effect of politics.
This has, on one side, become a much more transparent and easy world to navigate in, at the other hand, the violence and destruction is truly abhorrent. People dying, homes lost, pain and suffering.
At the other hand, we know who are friends are and who our enemies are.
The conflict in Ukraine is ultimately my responsibility. I started it ten years ago, by vilifying the danish system. Well, it is correct, they are still at it, the bastards. Trying to kill my wife, using all kinds of strategies to stop me from writing and so on.
But, the effect of me going ballistic on my blogs are too severe for me to do so, so I don’t.
But, and this is where I really want to share my thoughts, is it really so important to be in the centre? Isn’t it better to leave the world a better place, than what it was when you got into it?
And if making a better world is important, what is then the better option?
In Ukraine, Donbass and Lugansk. The better option is for brother to live side by side with brother in peace. How do we obtain this good? We do it by defining clear borders. Make a vote. If Donbass and Luhansk wants to be a part of Russia, fine, all is within the legal framework of international law. If they don’t, then leave them. The same with Ukraine, they obviously don’t want to be a part of Russia, then leave them to that decision.
The pain and the hurt, is due to the dedication of two peoples wanting to have a territorial integrity. They want to be masters of their own house. Well, let them.
I know, that Ukraine is slipping into the EU. But, I mean, the EU is much more awful place than the Soviet communistic world. It has become a cultural marxist hell.
It is much better for Russia to be Russia, to be a place of pride in itself, with plenty of young people feeling pride for their cultural heritage and nation. The same is with Ukraine. A place of wise vikings, making that bid for freedom.
Dont believe, that the EU will come and save you, they won’t, they are too corrupted. What you need to do, is to make your own sovereignty.
Be masters of your own house, and make peace with the countries around you. Be independent. Through this independence, you can develop your own way in life.
G-d bless the peace, we can find, if we are truly honest to what we are, brothers now in a senseless war. G-d bless Ukraine and Russia, and may these mighty and good nations both find peace. G-d bless the will to understand the fate of the nations of the East. G-d bless the will to talk to one another and make dialogue.
Ok, now the dialogue has begun, that is, truly, a good thing. Thank you Anthony for calling mr. Lavrov, this may just be the beginning of at least some kind of understanding. Thank mr. Macron for reaching out to mr. Putin, this may also give the peaceplan a chance.
But, one thing is to discuss the issues, another thing is to solve the issues.
First of all, what it truly comes down to, is the conflict between people of Ukraine against people of Russia, especially in the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces.
So the talks need to adress a permanent solution to the difficulties in these areas. How do we find a solution?
It will have to be some kind of territorial solution. Because people who have been to war, cannot live side be side the day after. So, to be realistic, you need to make a solution where each people have their own land.
How to do this, is really the central discussion, and we have to face it as well as put it on the table. Finding some kind of fair deal is the only possible endresult of these negotiations, if they are to suceed.
But, if they suceed, they might bring peace.
It has to be fair though, and that is the difficulty of the negotiations.
At the end the day, we may just win peace, and that would be preferable to all parties involved. This conflict has continued for too long, people are suffering, and if possible, a serious, fair and good solution acceptable for both parties, should be the product of these negotiations.
G-d bless the will to make peace.
Well, thinking about the Russians, one has to UNDERSTAND them to really make a deal with them.
Who are the Russians really?
Well, as the Americans, they are hard-nosed frontiersmen. When the Rus came to what is today Ukraine, they came with the joy of Scandinavian culture. Put up a Thing, and enjoyed the festive markets that we vikings enjoy.
But living at the fringe of European culture soon meant that Ukraine was invaded by Mongols who destroyed the beautiful cities that the Rus built. So the Rus had to pick themselves up by the bootstrap, and adapt to the difficult situation. And they did, they started wandering East, making the greatest country in the world in the process. Russia.
Russia is immense, it never ends. It has places people never go.
This hard-nosed people that ended at the pacific in their fights has NEVER forgotten their roots, but often feel forgotten by us. So they feel left in a place with few roots to drink from.
The beauty and joy of their ancestors is all but forgotten. So the plow on, survive in their own strong way.
Then, when we vilify the Russians, they feel left alone again, not understood.
At the other hand, they, even though they do not say it, really like some aspects of American culture. ESPECIALLY the vigilante, cow boy culture. The sixshooter lone rider. Putin is supposedly a great fan of Steven Seagal, why? Because the hard nosed kossack culture they themselves are heir to, is in many ways the same as the Americans.
Now Russia is older that the US. So, they have an older and bit more refined culture. Dostoyevsky, their own platonic church, the byzantine church, and Tolstoi. I like Tolstoi, he is a deep thinker.
So, a plan that may bring peace, should reflect these cultures. Make it a cowboy plan, a Steven Seagal plan, brazen, true, honest, American as well as Russian.
See, you may not like each other much, but at the end of the day, culturally, the difference is not so large or great. The likeness is very much the same.
It takes a Dane to see this, because we are in the middle, but you should actually find much more peace in understanding each other, than just not liking each other.
Russians are not materialist communist anymore. They have found their own roots in many ways, and the roots are beautiful.
It comes from that Thing, a place where the ancients met as equals, and maybe that is a place to meet again.
G-d bless the will to find peace again.
Now, at the time of the Obama administration, Obama and I did a lot of warring together. In the beginning with very little success. The Arab spring was, in general, a failure. There are still pockets of beautiful democracies, and liberty in the Arab world. But we overthrew states, that never really became whole again. That was a great mistake.
After that, we started being more focused, and more diplomatic.
That started to work. We made the peace in the Middle East, that is actually still holding. We started to fight Islamic state, by chopping of the heads of the snake. That worked too.
So, based on these successes, that really put the US as the leader of the world, what can we say about the current situation in Ukraine?
Well, first of all. Diplomacy is ALWAYS preferable over war.
Diplomacy needs a power base to work. I mean, as one my predecessors used to say, talk with a soft voice, but walk with a great stick.
So in terms of the Ukranie conflict. Off cause we need to be present militarily, but the aim of the conflict, should be peace. Some kind of accord, that makes the situation in Ukraine stable and to the benefit of that old and ancient descendants of my own descendants. The Rus.
How to accomplish that, is by making plans. Come up with at peaceplan, have good ideas on how to solve the situation in Ukraine, and especially Donetsk and Luhansk, the provinces that want to be a part of Russia, for a great part, at least.
Let me let you in on a secret, I realized in my service to Barack. The MOST effective tool in your toolbox of war is appraisal.
What happens when people fight, is that they picture their enemies as evil and vile.
If that enemy, all of a sudden, show respect for you, and shows, that he understands who you are, then the picture of you in his mind, will soften.
That is what it is. War is people becoming angry at each other, and painting their enemies as evil.
Few people are truly evil. A lot of people believe lies, that is true, but that does not make them evil.
Russians are not evil, they are a warm and strong people, that we often vilify.
Besides, a liberal perspective in this world, is a perspective of peace, right?
That was what the Vietnam war was all about, not fighting wars with no meaning.
The trouble we have with China is due to geopolitical reasons. Chinese are not evil, they are a good people. But they threaten our sovereignty.
So, diplomacy is all about UNDERSTANDING the world, and trying to make solutions, to the best of our abilities.
Now, maybe this mindset, the Obama mindset, will help you in the current situation. And just maybe we can avoid a senseless war.
That has always been a Democratic number one priority. I should still be so, to my mind. We bring peace, not war.
G-d bless the will to find peace in a VERY difficult situation.
The world is heading for the Third World War. The trouble in Ukraine, will, if we do not stop it, turn into a real war with guns, helicopters, tanks and ships colliding.
At the same time, these wars will turn into mayhem and destruction in the West, especially in Central Europe because the islamist insurgency is all but waiting for their chance. Here in Scandinavia, it was a hairsbreadth away from an islamist take over under the Covid 19 crisis.
In other words, we are weak in Europe, and do not have the manpower or fighting spirit to fight world war three. On the contrary, we risk a massive recalibration of the European mainland, and a great part of Europe to fall to islamists.
Now, in the last two decades, our enemies have grown much stronger. China is strong, and Russia is getting fit. To me Russia is a vital part of European culture. Russian descend from Swedes and Danes migrating to Ukraine.
Through vicious fights with mongols, and Japanese, Russia was built. But at the core, Russia is still a Scandinavian heritage. We appraise that in Denmark, and have had many connections to Russia through the time, not least with the Tzars and Tzarinas. Valdemar, the founder of the royal house of Denmark was a brother to the Rus, Valdemar is the Danish version of Vladimir.
Anyway, there is plenty of historical tradition to bind Europe together. At the same time, the English was a part of the same world. The royal house of the Brits derive from those same raiders, that hit the shores of the English.
We can choose to remember our shared history, or choose to see all the negative in each other.
The choice is our own. But we should remember, that what we are dealing with is a war that will reorder european mainland, and make countless of citizens suffer.
Are we ready to see that suffering as a consequence of our own actions?
That is really what we need to ask ourselves. Because as the commotion is started, it will not stop again.
G-d bless the will to find peace.
We are truly moving away from the Obama doctrine, that Barack and I made under his presidentship. Why? I guess conservatism reflects liberalism, and right now, we are reentering at very strict cultural marxist trend in the European mainland. Specifically in Germany and Sweden.
France is still very pro the Democratic/antiislamist ideas that was the heart of our tenure, and the UK is kind of wobbly.
This will create a devastating dynamics, that may end in a war with Russia and China. A war that Germany cannot win by itself. Just saying, and Sweden neither.
So perhaps you may want to think a little bit about what road to take. The cultural marxist ideas are kind of running out. It will destroy Sweden, and it will destroy Germany.
But the rest of Europe will have to make new alliances, and try to remake the continent in some kind of form.
Politics is like a pendulum, it swings from right to left, and will do that eternally, UNLESS, the state collapses, then it is a whole new ballgame.
Russia is not our enemy. It can be, if we push Russia too far, but as it is now, it is only defending itself. WE are the aggressors, and we have no armies.
That is a very difficult process to maintain.
Hopefully Trierism will win the day eventually. That is a conservative, middle leaning political position, that tries to reach bot ways. But right now, we are torn between the extremes of politics, and it is ripping the continent asunder.
The US cannot do anything right now, but be careful not to alienate Russia more that it has already been alienated. We risk creating a new Cold War, and honestly we ourselves are not at our best. We need to focus on the competition with China, that is the real threat.
We will see, but I fear the worst; revolutions, state collapses, general mayhem, as always in Europe.
G-d bless the will to find a balanced peace in the world.
So, as I have discussed before on the blog, the tech community needs to understand its role in history.
I mean, AR headsets, augmented reality, bitcoin all these new tech tools are, in themselves amazing. The meta verse and all that, BUT if we do not see ourselves in the long history of tech, we end up making mistakes. Like that of using too much electricity to make bitcoin and crypto in general, loosing sight of open source, it is only through the marriage between tech and ethics that we can succeed.
We Change the world, but if we do it without thinking about what the consequences are, we end up destroying the societies and the world. I mean to be honest doesn’t Facebook and many of the social media platforms feel like prisons?
So we have created platforms that people should conform to, and does not conform to people. How is that a good idea. I mean wasn’t computer/human interactions sciences, that I did my thesis on, supposed to make tech conform to human needs and not the other way around?
If we loose the sight of the human in the process, we will make systems, that destroys society.
I know, that I have been in the rails for the last 1 1/2 year, due to my circumstances, but the point, that tech needs to follow humans, and not the other way around, is still valid.
We need to understand, that what built great companies as Apple and Facebook, was the attempt to subdue tech, and make the human rule. HUMAC, remember.
Now when Steve is not here anymore, we are left to our own devises, and we need step up, otherwise people will get fed up with us, and start regulating here and there.
We need to remember, Human/computer interaction, with the total respect of the human. Make it easier to be a human, not create prisons for the human, but set them free, make them happy.
That is what computerscience is about, seen from an ethical perspective. We need to hold on to that, hold on to our virtues.
G-d bless the will to be fast in developing, but steadfast in application of computer ethics.
Joe, listen, I am not a true, rich opinionator of an international statue, I am just a poor guy living in Denmark, with a host of problems around my neck.
The police is after me, my ex. is a terrible problem and so on and so forth. I am friend, right, not much of a friend, but still your loyal friend. But don’t expect me to save you, in the state I am in.
I am locked up in Denmark, like in a prison. But you can bail me out, if you want.
All you have to do, is offer me a job somewhere, where it somehow fits my current life situation.
I can’t go and live in the States, even though I would love to do just that, but my kids are 4 and 9. I can’t move them around, and my ex. would go bananas, that’s the truth of it.
But I mean, give me a job at the embassy as some kind liaison, give me a low paying, insignificant job in your administation, that would allow me to go to the States once in a while and talk with you about all the host of issues that you are facing.
I am not saying this because I want a job, I have some of kind job, that I like. But the truth is, I am getting pulled down by the things I have to do here in Denmark, and it is difficult to find the ressources to keep up with the American agenda. I try the best I can. But when you are in a fierce battle between this environment group against the other, and you are part of the whole debacle, keeping up with what you are doing is really difficult. The brits are doing it in a nice way, inviting me to Oxford, making some kind of connection, that is all that is required. You do not need to come here, I will come to you, you are my friend. But I have to have some kind of connection.
Please Joe, for America, and the potential benefits I can give you, make that connection. Not in a fanciful way, just simple and yet effective. It does not have to be prestigious, just something that would work.
G-d bless the will to reach out and help your friends.
