Thank you mr. President, after decades of service, finally it is time to put the sidearm to rest besides the chair, and breathe for a second.
So many years of vigilance and service to Israel will be written in the books of us Jews, as one of the greatest leaders of Israel and the Jews.
My good friend Gal always tell me, that the Jews that went to Israel are the Jews, that are not interested in giving in, but are ready to fight whenever needed.
After coming from Yemen, going through the desert, his family arrived in Israel some 50 years ago.
The same with many other Jews.
Then there were the wars, endless wars with everybody around Israel, but now, the people of the Middle East, seem to accept us, as a part of the Middle East.
This is your legacy mr. Netanyahu, that Israel is founded on a solid rock, and is not easily flustered.
Now a new leader arrives, and also he will be of the same vigilant type, becuase we Jews seem to have found a recipe for Israeli leadership.
In the next two hundred years, there will be one Netanyahu after the other. Not in name, but in type. The fierce soldier turned diplomat, turned politician.
Not too bad a legacy to put to ones name.
After all, changing the world to something better, is what we can aspire to do, and so you have.
G-d bless Benyamin Netanyahu, and may your legacy never be forgotten.
Well, things seems to have quieted down a bit, to me, that is not a bad thing. In fact, it is a good thing.
All the turbulence of the Trump presidentship has been replaced by the quietness of the Biden presidentship.
It is not such a bad thing. I mean, perhaps people need a breather after all the conflict and stress. It is as after a long run, you sit in a chair, and wonder if you can ever get up again.
Domestically people seem pretty ok with how things are. OK, not all are happy, but the balance between supporting the conservatives and the liberals at the same time, seems to set people at peace.
They RECOGNIZE the attempt to find common ground, and heal the rifts. Not having people protesting in the streets is sometimes a very good thing.
Anyway, there are some problems arising in Western Europe, the Islamic State has just carried out an attack in France, and my feeling is, that we are nearing ourselves a final confrontation with the Islamic State operatives in and around Europe.
It has the very real perspective in revolting the states in Western Europe making Caliphates, especially Scandinavia is in danger.
Sweden being most in danger.
Denmark is still the best card to play in the fight with the Islamic State operatives here in Scandinavia, we have a Socialdemocratic leader here, who actually understand what is going on, trying to stem the tide of Islamic state infiltration and so on.
But we will see, what will come out of it.
There are, fortunately, a lot of good Muslims here as well. But Islamic State has a strong hold in Western Europe, and the final confrontation is nearing.
What is the rest of the world going to do? They are going to stand up for Democracy in the fight with some of the vilest anti humanist forces in this world.
So that confrontation is coming up, whether we like it or not.
But, fortunately we have the moral fiber and resistance to tackle this fight as well. We will prevail, even though it will be both violent and destructive as always in war.
G-d bless the will to do good.
Well, we have had A LOT of experience with the farming sector and how NOT to make a difference in terms of climate progress here in Denmark.
First our government put the military into a total destruction of the Mink industry, that was NOT the way to do it. In fact it has created a tempest of violence and destruction in the farming industry.
What was the problem, well using the military to put through your priorities is a bit out of line. I mean destroying an industry with the soldiers. That is just way out of line.
Then we have had the discussion on lowlying parts of the farming fields. Another great blunder. The aim was to create a better and more biodiverse nature, but it will just end up in more swamps. I mean can you see the Goethian beauty in that?
Anyway, there are other, much simpler ways to make a greener nature.
I have had the supreme honor to talk with an old woodsman. Mr. Hans Kjeldsen. Hans has worked on the most beautiful little piece of forest. It has otters, deer and an amazing wild life.
It has small biomes of plants, a great diversity. It even comes with a Indian ring for all the hippies to dance in the night. Imagine that.
Anyway, according to Hans, who has worked on true biodiversity for 50 years, it is about finding a balance between forester and biodiversity. Between economical gain and biodiversity.
Leave it to the ancient foresters to make biodiverse forests. They know how to do it.
And how? Change the support system, so that more farmers can make biodiverse forests.
According to my sources, many of them would like to make more forests, but the support system does not make it possible.
But be clear on the features of the forests. You can have a forest of Christmas trees, and that is not biodiverse.
So, change the support systems, and make it PRIORITIZE biodiverse forests. That will work, at least in Denmark, and probably also in other parts of Europe. But make sure, it takes a national concesus in consideration.
G-d bless the will to make a greener planet.
Well, we have to understand the crisis with racism and the way we can counter it in the US.
First of all, I know all about it. When I go to the swimming pool here in Denmark, people get out of the pool that I am in, and go to the other swimming pool, because I look ‘funny’.
I have several friends that are what you would call ‘black’, and they are harassed in numerous ways. Right now, the friends of my kids are not allowed to my home, because I am both ‘brown’ and perhaps even worse, a Jew.
My great grandmother had to flee to Sweden in the Second World War, because she was a Jew, and so on. The story goes on, and everybody seems to be so nice on the surface, but when push comes to shove, they dislike me, simply because of my skin.
That is it, I have the wrong color. It is not because of my atttitude or my understanding of the world. I am a very nice person, I never treat anyone in any mean way. Ok, I am a debater, but I have never treated anyone negatively.
So I know racism, how people look at you with disdain and a lot of prejudice.
I know.
But, and this where I believe we can learn a lot from rev. Martin Luther King, I never get violent about it, or negative in any way. I accept the disdain of other people, and try to turn it around. I try to be the good guy without any prejudice. I ALWAYS try to build bridges and help people around me without regard to any look at skin color. To me racism is a social construct, nothing more.
I have two white friends, two black friends. My oldest daughter is pretty dark in skin, my younger daughter is pretty white in skin. I mean introducing racism in my own family would be sister hating sister, and that would be impossible, because my two little girls they sleep arm in arm every night.
But what to do in this situation where people are eating each other up in violence and disdain.
First of all, I believe in Martin Luther King and HIS faith in the civil rights movement, and FOREMOST in the principles of non violence. That was why I was so critical against the Black Lives Matter movement. One thing is that poor Floyd was murdered, because he was, his own actions untalked about, another thing is to go raving in streets, stealing and plundering.
Both actions are unforgivable in a civilized society.
Finding closure and a way out this mess, is the recognize the POSITIVE principles of both sides.
On the civil rights side it is truly nonviolence, the acceptance of other people, them being white or black or brown.
At the side of the police it is realizing the aim of police enforcement, that is, ideally to protect the weak.
It is when the police forgets, that it is about protecting those who are too weak to protect themselves, that the police looses a dear and wonderful part of themselves.
We are all here, we all need a place in America, but we also need to see, that doing so means that we OURSELVES take responsibility of our own actions and follow the principles of our forefathers and founding fathers. It is when we loose sight of those principles that America looses its greatness.
Make America strong is to FOLLOW the ideals of the US. It is non-violence, protecting the weak and generally being adamant about following the principles that is the true constitution of the great America. The REVOLUTION continued. It is ONLY if new generations find the beacons of idealism and follow the creeds of the founding fathers, that America is TRULY great.
G-d bless The United States of America.
Well, now I have been doing some practical, live world research and bridge building when it comes to Climate Change, the religious aspects of progressing at a path ALONG science and not against it. That is NOT against physics that is the main contender to the monotheistic religions and the result is actually extremely, extremely positive.
It really is surprising as to the theoretical success I have had. But it is on such a convoluted and DEMANDING basis, that it definitely will take some time to realise.
First of all, my main idea with religion as to the competition it has with science, was to make a BRIDGE between religion and science.
The hypothesis was, that IF we from the religious community can make a theory, that elevates the ideas we have to a true METAphysical platform, people might actually start to take us seriously again.
Denmark is ideally suited for this, because we essentially made modern science. At least the greatest minds of Denmark did, mainly Niels Bohr, and at the same time, IN Denmark there has never really been a true split between science and religion. Niels Bohrs best friend was a theologian called Løgstrup, and Bohr himself was of a family of priests. Bohr also sported his own version of a chinese philosophy, that people haven’t really understood after Bohr, but the fact of the matter was, that Bohr was a religious man.
So what has actually happened when I started to work on all my religious/physical theories in practise?
Well, from a practical perspective it has all failed. Mainly due to the fact, that the left wing here in Denmark seems to dislike me some, and because what they decided to do (they have been in power for two years) was to initiate a maelstrom of destruction instead of making any real progress. A destruction that is taking them down as we speak.
They started out killing a whole industry here in Denmark. The Mink industry, that is, admittedly, an industry that can be questioned in terms of animal ethics. But what they have done is to use the military to KILL all the poor animals, and render the whole industry void, thereby taking out the meals of the mouths of countless mink farmers. It has been total devastation and numerous mink farmers have committed suicide, image that IN DENMARK! We are supposed to be the epitome of civilization.
It is beyond comprehension and is a true crime against innocent people, and they will, eventually fall because of the ferocious actions they have. They send the military after farmers!
On the other hand, my own experience concerning my work has been stupendously successful.
Like this. So I started interviewing all the physical geeks. A guy making a system that can turn cars into running on wind power alone, through a complicated chemical procedure, you can actually make fuel that runs on wind power. All you need to do, is to change a computer calibration of the motors specifications and you can run on green methanol made with wind or solar power. How cool is that?
Add to this the ability to take all the garbage of the farmers and turn it into green gas that you can then use in power plants or cars!
So the first time I met one of the green geeks, I kind of wanted to make my intentions known, so I told him, that I am a metaphysician, and I have proved the existence of G-d. He looked at me pretty incredulously. Ok I admit, I kind of had my own little reversed Nietszche moment there, instead of killing G-d og revived him.
But then something absolutely magical happened. The physicist started to warm up to my ideas!
Instead of debunking them as stupid a hoax, they loved my ideas.
So I sent one friend I got my papers from Oxford. And he started raving about how cool it is.
So the physicist loved my metaphysical ideas.
So while the whole left wing here in Denmark were busy slaughtering up to 15 million animals, rendering the poor farmers obsolete, I had a true metaphysical/physical heureka moment.
So I can say, that my ideas actually work on a scientific level. The physicists of Denmark are world leading.
Anyway where does that leave the religious communities?
First of all, it leaves the task to relive metaphysics. Reinvent and make it alive again as a scientific course.
THAT is the true challenge to my mind. Because religious people in general are really deep in their understanding of things, but a true metaphysical tradition really died with the dark ages in Europe.
Reviving it from the greek roots is what we need to do.
I know that there is a lot of discussion as to whether the greek ideas are the best, but we have to start somewhere, yes I know that in Kaballah there is a whole metaphysical universe, but the fact of the matter is, that the scientist are running on the greek ideas, and they have surpassed us in the depth of knowledge and in methodical application. That is the truth of it.
IF we are able to make a link to the physical environment of scientists, we can start from there and make that connection that will eventually elevate the religious community to a whole new level.
But it will be difficult, because the scientists are so far in front of us.
What we need to do is, to REMAKE METAPHYSICS as a line of scientific inquiry.
Did you get the Brian?
That is truly the task, and it falls on Oxford or Cambridge to do it, because Oxford and Cambridge are the world leaders with religious studies, as while Denmark is leading with physical studies.
So the bridge is there, it is extremely weak, could be broken any time, but it is there.
That would be the crowning task of your life mr. Mountford, to remake metaphysics after a dormant period of 1700 years. Imagine that.
G-d bless the will to make G-d live again.
Spot on Joe, a renewed focus on economy seen from a Smithsonian perspective is not to give tax cuts to the rich. Don’t get me wrong, we need rich people, and they need to be recognized for their contribution to society.
But instead of making a Keynesian attempt at just pumping out money to industry, we need to address, as I see it, the true problem of free market theory.
To me, that is UNDERSTANDING the theories of Adam Smith, and consequently try to find the solution we need to find, within the framework of the Smithsonian theories.
Adam Smith wrote two books, The wealth of nations, that gave us free market theory, and ethical works on how to behave morally.
His basic point is, that freedom has to be balanced out with moral views. That is, what we support, hold dear, sacrifice ourselves for and find virtue and value in.
According to Smith, this is an inner compas, your conscience.
I believe, that the workers are always very conscientious. They love their country, and support their local community. They sacrifice for a better world. They don’t send away production to China, they still are what is written so proudly on the boxes shipped out of the production hall; Made in America.
That is the true point of Adam Smith, according to my understanding of Smith, freedom has to be balanced with conscience towards the country you live in.
Someone has to be the pillar of society, and the ones who make things for the little ones to look up to, and be proud of.
The workers are the salt of the earth, and what we should concentrate about.
So invest in them, and other parts of productive America. Farmers, fishermen, bakers. People making things, because the truth is, to have a job is in itself a source of pride and self esteem.
But don’t forget, that the rich are not necessarily enemies, they can be partners, IF they stop the production flight to China.
This is really where I think we changed something in the last period, we stood up for the workers, and tried to keep their jobs in the US.
That gave us a job boom, and a much needed source of extra income.
To be an empire, you have money coming in from all around, but at the of the day, what you are, is what you do, what you make and how you do it.
Don’t forget those proud words, and make it even prouder; Made in America.
G-d bless the will to stand up for America.
Well, now we are at the eternal dance around the ‘golden calf’ Israel.
It seems to me, that it holds such a mirage of attraction due to its status as the hub of the monotheistic religions.
The power that holds Israel is the leader of the three religions.
So as a consequence all three religions fight for dominance.
But, and this is truly where things get interesting, what happens when the TRULY leading religion of the three, namely Judaism holds sway over the holy city of Jerusalem?
This is really what this fight with the Muslims is all about, do the Muslims accept the leading role of Judaism or not?
This is why, the ETHICAL conduct of the Jews are so important. How do we tackle the conflict. If we are less ethical than Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the perception of our conduct will be harsh and instantly condemning.
This is why I believe that the ethical or moral choices we make should be as best possible.
This does not mean, that we should just take all the beating, we should most definitely not.
But it means, that our response should be measured and precise.
WE should, by all means, avoid ANY loss of civilians on the Muslim side, and ONLY respond in equation to the attacks we receive.
We cannot be seen as the dominator but only as the defender.
Because at the end of the day, we should remember, that there is a HUGE audience looking at what we are doing, and in these social media times, lies have harder time flying, so most people around the world can actually see what is going on.
Yes Islamic jihad still have some supporters on the extreme left wing, but most sane people can see that Israel has been attacked, and is responding in DEFENSE.
So precision, only targeting military targets, sheltering all Israelis, the ethical way of war, and we will win what this war is REALLY about; international acceptance and support.
I mean, why is it, that Europeans should support Islamic extremist terrorizing innocent civilians?
G-d bless the will of Jews to survive and do what David did; use his sling to fight with precision and force.
So first act in the two pronged conflict I presumed has come underway.
The conflict in the Middle East between Sunni and Shia Muslim terrorist against Israel is under way.
Why do I call them terrorists? Because shooting rockets towards civilians is the very definition of terrorism.
War between soldiers and military infrastructure is one thing, using civilians as targets are forbidden according to the UN charter, and the Koran.
Civilians are not to be touched in war, it goes against all ethics when it comes to war.
This situation is due to the fact, that the Biden administration has not really touched upon the Middle East in earnest, so now the warring parties in the Middle East are trying to see how far they can go.
Will it be an apocalypse?
A realization of the ancient prophets as to the advent of Israel?
It remains to be seen, but I do feel that apocalyptic vibe in the air.
Anyway, my best advice to the Biden administration would be, to try and go BEHIND the proxi parties in Gaza and talk directly to the Arabs and the Iranians. Hamas and Islamic Jihad are nothing in themselves but the extended arm of Iran and the Arab world, or at least, that is what they try to be.
It makes sense, to reach the real powerbrokers instead of the pieces on the board that are simply moving at the order of the power brokers behind.
This is not to criticize either the Arabs or the Iranians, but to put forth a strategy.
G-d bless the peace, we will eventually find. G-d bless Israel.
Well, we are now entering the post corona world, which equals to Asger has to get back at international blogging world, or whatever you would want to call it.
There are several daunting yet possible challenges ahead. First of all, there is the climate change challenge ahead of us. This is a great problem, but there are a lot of solutions as well. I have worked with it quite intensely here in Denmark, and even though it is a bit of a potholed road to the end result of eternal climate bliss, we are actually getting somewhere.
There are some pretty interesting perspectives in using wind and solar power that we are looking into here in Denmark.
It could almost for certain end up saving the world, imagine that.
Next in line lies the fatamorgana of world peace, which, at the time being, is looking a bit bleak. There is the rising tension in both Israel as well as France, that is the hub of islamist uprising.
Where that goes is still to be seen, but it is going to be interesting to see, where it all leads. I hope for a peaceful solution, but to be honest I doubt it.
In Denmark we are working on a repatriation scheme, that will, slowly and surely repatriate islamist and criminals out of Denmark.
I know, it can be criticized, and it should. But if you come to a democratic country, and your first act is to try to change it into a fascist islamic state, well, then you are a terrorist, and should be treated like that. That is pretty obvious. Terroism is terrorism.
This process is still in its infancy, and it remains to be seen if it will work, but there are good signs.
We also have to be a bit realistic about the endless climate change migrants that seek the promised land of Europe and the US. It has to be conducted in an orderly fashion, and it is the choice of either the US or respectively European countries if they wish to have the new citizens, or repatriate these material refugees to a place where they can be helped without direct access to Europe.
I know, again a tense subject, but we have to make these things work, and not just be a slave to our own lack of imagination. Things change, and we have to tackle the problems we face in an orderly as well as humane fashion for all involved, but migrants/refugees as well as Europeans and Americans. It has to be done in a nice and humane way.
The last bit of discussion to my mind is the inherent issue of trying to make a welthfarestate and at the same time having free migration to the country.
This combined effort is a bit of a false idea. If you want to make a wealthfare state, you need to make pretty steep barriers to enter, otherwise the solidarity with the others who pay for the welthfarestate will stop.
It is a pretty deep fault that goes all the way back to Marx and his misreading of Spartan society, that is the ideal of communism or marxism.
In order to have solidarity, people generally need to know each other and feel a kinship.
At least this is the point of Lycurgus the founder of Sparta.
That is a dilemma we need to be honest about, if we want to continue or expand the wealthfare state. It goes against the current understanding of socialism, but it is nonetheless the point of Lycurgus and he built a city state that lasted for 700 years, so he is probably right.
We can’t really compete with the ancients in this regard, we have to respect their wisdom to my mind.
Anyway, we need a steady hand on the wheel, and the going is pretty soon going to get tough, so we need to stay alert in France and in the Middle East in general, things could just end in war.
G-d bless the will to find a way that will end up in peace.
Well Joe, you are doing quite well, and the classic Union ideas are MUCH better than Woke identity politics.
To me talking about Union Politics gives us a way to connect to Marxism in a way, that we can talk about what is good and bad about Marxism.
I think I have a bit of a unique view on Marxism, since Marx was one of my distant family members. Trier where I have my name from, is where Marx grew up in a Jewish family, so I feel a kind of kinship to him.
This does not mean, that I do not see his faults and flaws, I do.
One of his major flaws being the fact, that he threw out religion out of the window. That is a major fault, and one of the reasons that I have sought to support religion so forcefully. Without religion, there is no natural bend towards good.
This is why I believe, that if you want to make an Obamacare 2.0, don’t forget the priests.
I believe, that religion should be a part of a social wealth fare state. The reason why we have a state to care for the weak is found in the Bible.
In this way, you also reach out towards the Conservatives, making a bridge there.
I believe, that only through spirit, can you really understand the positive aim of society, it is about the angels. When you are inspired by angels, you naturally do good, right?
The reason why a lot of the social welthfarestates tend to corrupt is because of the materialistic basis.
There is the discussion on progressive tax as well, I have some ideas about that as well, you might want to use too.
It is all about fixing the faults of Marx, making a humanistic system, that will actually work and make people happy and content.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world. Be a better person and make a whole and happy world.
Well, things seems to be developing in a direction that will, at least for the eastern side of the US, be difficult to handle.
As of now, France is REALLY gearing up for a fight against islamic extremism. Twenty generals have publicly declared leftwing academics and many muslims enemies of the Democratic/humanistic state inadvertedly threatening the politicians with action, if they do not do something.
So, what does that mean, really?
Well, it means, that France is adamant in keeping its lead in fighting islamic extremism, and academia is in for a difficult time, to say the least. This is not a little insignificant country, this is France, mother of all revolutions, and a fierce defender of freedom. Its intellectuals founded the US, more or less.
Add to this, France has always keenly sought a role in world leadership. Here it has its chance, because the US has had a few years of problems.
What is it really that France is saying, it is saying, that it is willing and able to start a WAR against islamic extremism IN France, in fact the generals are threatening the politicians that if they do not do it, the generals will put them out of office and do it themselves. Since they are fighting for the integrity of the state, and the state is democratic, off cause this will not be the end of Democracy, but a protective action.
Where does that leave the US, again, I hope the US will get back in the lead, but to be honest, I am pretty smitten by France. Just imagine a French revolution in my time, and having a part of it. This like christmas time for any philosopher, it does not get any bigger. I know, then there is all the violence and the bloodshedding, but the vibe, and the courage. There is nothing like a French revolution, period.
So what do the US do?
Well, to be honest the US needs to see some action as well. But, there is the importance of recognizing the pro muslim part of the Democratic party. Bernie and his crowd. We cant just go on muslim hunting, and it would be wrong, trying to find a balance here is important.
Will it beat the french? Maybe, maybe not. But seeing the French in all their glory maybe is not such a bad thing, and we are sharing values like 1:1 anyway, so it is not that we have an ideological difference.
The French are ambitiuos, and they have a window of opportunity here.
We are looking at a war that is potentially a 100 years long, and definitely vicious, but the alternative is the fall of the Republic, and that is simply not an option, period.
G-d bless the way we will find, as the world is gearing up for more action, and France is leading the fray.
Well, now we are, at least, going in the right direction, but we must realize, that there is truly a long way to go, before the world is really under any kind of American leadership.
This I do not say to discourage, but to kind of prepare ourselves for the long haul.
One of the things that has been going on in the last four or five years is the leadership gained by France in fighting islamist extremism. They are fighting it in France and in the entire francophone world.
As opposed to the Anglo Saxons, France has never really had the same break with its colonies. They are stil kind of colonies, but since France have started out being a humanistic/democratic republic fighting for equality, the French colonies have never really been treated badly, not as the Belgian og Anglo Saxon Colonies, so there is still a great bond there, that is truly humane.
At the other hand, the french colonies, especially in middle Africa are really fightin against islamic extremism of the worst kind. The killers come down from Sahara and start their killing spree.
Point is, if the US wants to lead, there is a lot of catching up in this area, and with the softer tones coming from Washington, people are wondering whether the US is drawing of the conflict fighting Osama Bin Laden, IS and so on. A fight that is raging in Africa and Western Europe.
Again, we should be very careful not to push away good muslim allies as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and pro westerne democracies and allies, and find that balance.
But the fight is still very much alive, and right now France is leading.
Finding some kind of action and strategy here is really important, and cooperating with France is very important, since they are doing a very good job at it.
France wants to carve our its own legacy and honour here, and to me, that is just really good, leading is not about giving credit, it is about making strategies and supporting, selflessly for ones allies.
But, there remains to be done a huge amount of work here.
Then there is the border crisis. I know a hot potato, and ms. Harris is drowning in the job, I get it.
But it is, nonetheless a crisis building up steam, so we need to tackle it in a humane yet forcefull way. And in the current climate of animostiy that is going to be really, really difficult.
I mean Noam Chomsky is pulling out the big guns, and is calling anyone who wants to tackle the crisis with an iota of order and seriousness, evil.
That is the problem lying right there, and we need to solve it, to make progress and lead again, fix America for everybody, black and white and brown.
So what should we do?
First of all, I would initiate a dialogue with the involved countries that are loosing their citizens to the US.
Yes, some will cooperate some not. But some kind of communication should be established.
Then I would invest heavily in border control. Not a border control to run around and hunt people, but make systems that actually house migrants, make sure, that all rules are followed, keep the kids safe. Be serious about this.
Chaos is not doing any good, we need order to protect people.
So invest in border security, but with the aim of making the whole system humane.
In the UK, mr. Johson seems to have fallen asleep, what is going on Boris?
I know that being sick is a devastating experience, me myself have just had two years in bed more or less. But that is life. As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said; if you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hold on.
But now you are healed again, so you need to carry on brother. That is life, ups and downs, use your skill to further the interests of Britain and the Commonwealth, but in a nice and decent way.
So equality is not about one winning over the other, it is about harmony.
If you are truly equal, then you are supposed to be happy, that is the aim of the world today, to make a harmonius, equal world, where people are happy, right?
Not too much conflict, but respect and honesty.
G-d bless the will to heal the world.
We now have a new minister of transport, mr Buttiglieg, pretty cool guy to my understanding, has the right balance between liberal and conservative standpoints, and even educated on my favourite university Oxford, the magical place. But seriously Buttiglieg, a rehash of the normal Keynesian philososphy of borrowing money from the banks, investing it in infrastructure, which is essentially giving jobs to the construction business of the country. The money that is invested will give some jobs off cause, but what about the agrictultural business, IT, defense, and numerous other production companies, and most important the car business that is really in trouble, or at least was some years ago. Is that not also important? I know mr. Buttiglieg is only minister of transport, so that is his focus, but a wider strategy is also important, to my mind.
My take on it, that gave both Obama and Trump a massive boost in jobs was to diversify the investment to ALL production companies, BUT, and that is very important, ONLY in patriotic companies.
My good friend Jan O. Gregersen, the chairman of the workers union here in Aalborg, showed me a painting of one of the main founders of the Union, he was of the opinion, that workers and business work together for the furtherment of Aalborg.
That is a good thing, says the smith.
Point is, to make jobs, you have to diversify your investment, and not only use a lot of money, there are other ways to do it as well. Like cutting red tape for the businesses and really recognize those American companies that are loyal to the US.
It is about the old worker working together with the business owner to get the country on a right footing again.
To ORGANIZE! to cite one of the old idealists of the workers union.
With all respect for mr. Buttiglieg, that seems to me at really cool guy.
G-d bless the United States of America.
It is kind og working Joe, the Western Europeans are warming up to a renewed alliance with the US, and it seems to me, that people around the world are engaging in some serious soul searching. Having the US back as the leader of the world is something people need to think about. Because where does that position them in the game of thrones.
Making some kind of overture to Russia is a wise move essentially. It secures the eastern front, and then we can focus on Turkey, that is threatening Europe quite openly.
Here we have to be honest about how they are doing it. They are doing it, by smuggling IS fighters into Europe through the mass migration caravan that it has tried to initiate in the past.
This is a conundrum, because at one hand we need to take care of refugees around the world. My own father fled from Bangladesh during the civil war there, he was a freedom fighter.
At the other hand, abusing our good hearts actually makes it much more difficult for the real refugees to be accepted. Here in Denmark, people are pretty annoyed with all the mayhem, that the IS fighters of different kinds are making here. So people get pretty angry. Danes are fighters and wont leave it alone.
Yes, then sometimes, it is reflected in inhuman decisions and attempts, I agree, but handling this anger is very difficult. Finding the balances and so on.
But that is the lay of the land in Denmark, but also in Western Europe in general. Finding that middle path, is increasingly difficult, and may just end up being impossible, creating chasms of animosity and trouble. Trouble like shooting artists and the like in Charlie Hebdo.
But, if and when the US should and will take a leading role, it should be to find a equilibrium in the understanding of Muslims in general, support liberal Muslims, fighting the terrorists.
My father was a liberal Muslim, he was really into Mahatma Ghandi and the unification of a democratic Bangladesh. A liberal person in all ways, so to me, that is a prove, that it is possible to find a way in Islam towards Democracy.
BUT, and this is really important, we need to be serious and realistic about the challenge we face. When we made the Arab spring, we thought that just bold action would do it. But that was a mistake. Toppling the governments in Northern Africa, was a serious mistake except for Tunisia. We need to be careful, not to destroy the states that they have. Revolutions may be pretty cool, but they can go the wrong way.
Anyway, we are actually moving towards a renewed role of leadership of the West in the world. To me, that is a good thing, if it is based on true insight and wisdom.
In this way, we have created a leadership, that is to the benefit of all mankind. Ok, our system is the humanistic/democratic, and we fight for that. But that does not mean, that we do not UNDERSTAND other systems, and can have some honest and good relations to them.
Maybe it may not look new, shining and bright, but to me, what we need right now is not new shining and bright. We need to reestablish the leading role of the US, and using proven methods, something people know and understand is the best way. Then after some time, when people get used to us being wise and understanding, then we can start developing new and more advanced ways and strategies.
Good thing about the redrawal of the troops in Afghanistan. Well done mr. President. You are showing bold action, and linking the redrawal to a fierce action against terrorism is very good. Keeping America and our allies safe.
We shouldn’t forget the climate issues, and should be bold in action here also. And I have to get used to writing about international strategy again. It is very, very, difficult and a terrible responsibility.
But, and this is what I think is important. It is done from a free perspective. I am not bought by anyone, I pay for the blog I write, in fact it is done in opposition to the state, that seems to want to oppress me all the time.
That is, to me, a pure, idealistic democratic/humanistic perspective.
So well done Joe, you are starting to look good in the eyes of the world.
G-d bless the will to find peace, at the end of the tunnel.
Dear Elisabeth, sincere condolences with your late husband Prince Philip.
I have myself tried to be through such trials, loosing someone I really liked, and I must say, that I really sympathise. You cannot describe the loss you feel, when someone so close goes away.
So this is not a critical review of Prince Philip, but rather a call to all his strenghts and qualities.
Once a gentleman, always a gentleman.
What was it that that gentleman gave the world. Well, being a loyal knight of he Maltese brotherhood myself, my take on how I see see Prince Philips qualities, is seen through that filter, the filter of a knight of the realm. What was prince Philip really? He was the one, who still held the banner high even though everbody else seems to have lost their grip. It is in this unswerving loyality and honor to the crown, that I see his greatest quality.
He would enter a fight with a song on his lips, and an ode to England, holding the banner high over his head. And he had done it, in his own life, many times.
You have very few of those loyal, serving souls left in this world. To me, being able to serve one of those brave knights of the realm, has been a tremendous honor.
He was the very soul of Britain.
But the beauty of his life will be, that the virtues and values, that he had, will be carried over to new generations to come. Making sure, that there is an England also after his departure from the fight of keeping Britain whole and sound.
He was an ideal to many, and a stallwart defender of the realm.
Hail to him, and may he rest in peace, having lived a life of quality and sincerity, that few others have lived.
G-d bless the magic islands of the British, and may it prevail. G-d bless the living memory of his highness prince Philip.
Well, now the dichomoty between democratic islam, and kalifate islam is enhanced and underlined both in the UK in relation to the current debalce over the Mohammad cartoon in a school, and in the meeting between the EU and Turkey.
It seems to me, that the radicalists are trying to dominate and find conflict with the European/American democratic alliance.
At the same time, we have the conflicts with both China and Russia.
This is too much.
If we want to or not, we need to tackle these issues.
My take it is, as I wrote in the last posting, to PRIORITIZE the conflicts. So that we try to reduce the conflicts with the Russians and pick the anti democratic foes of China and the islamists.
That creates the necessarry balance with the Muslim community, makes a sound ideological basis under the fight, and it creates a situation where we have sound alliances.
The Democratic West is ready to fight the islamists, and we need to be able to hinder escalation with Russia. Russia are not keen on Turkey either, so there is a possible alliance there. To beat the Ottomans is a pretty old score unsettled with the heirs to the Byzantine church.
The Russian Orthodox church is an heir to the ancient Byzantine church that is still in existence in Turkye, albeit a shadow of its former selv.
So the lines of conflict are pretty obvious, we just need to initate a planned and organized response to the islamist in Western Europe and China, and make peace with Russia.
I know this is difficult, but these are the conflicts that are there, and we can pick and choose how we fight them.
G-d bless the will to be wise in strategy and bold in action.
Ok Joe, listen, I am certainly your oldest political friend in the current political life. You know, I cried when you didn’t stand for election at Hillarys run, I was so bewildered, because usually when I see something, it comes trough. But then Trump won and things never really have been the same since then. Not to say anything negative about Trump, I mean, I like him. But the diversion that his presidency has created are really dangerous. Getting back normal is really, really difficult.
Be as it may, this is important, if we want to secure a long lasting stability of the country, and the world as such.
I may not be the best to do these things, I am a revolutionary gone home cooking, and the itch is still there. Add to this, I have been practically imprisoned the last fifteen years, so my psyche is pretty torn.
BUT, I truly believe in unity, and in the ability to create a balance between right and left.
The challenges we face, are best faced together not apart from each other.
To me, the best response to the Trump presidency is not more division, but more unity.
Divided we fall, united we stand.
So how do we do that?
Well, being a philosopher, my answer is simple, or rather the idea is simple the approach is complex. We need to analyze and understand how to find the middle path between left and right.
All great presidents and PMs have been a middle path finder. It goes for Churchill, it goes for Obama, it goes for Reagan and it is probably the same these days. Mr. Cameron had the same, he was a little of one side, and a little of the other side. Damned shame he left politics if you ask me.
Politically, on my side, its the same. Lawrence of Arabia, that CREATED the Middle East as it is, was an Oxford Scholar. Rev. Brian Mountford, that is a blazing liberal theologican of Oxford that I have had the honour to meet is the same. A wise man and a deep thinker.
So in order to find unity, you need to find that middle path between left and right. On each issue.
I mean, remeber when you fought for Detroit? The motor city, that is old school Socialdemocratic policy. Obamas fight for the family, at the same time a socialstate. Beautiful middle ground policy. Or Churchill who started as a conservative, then was a Socialdemocrat, building the british welthfare system, and then went back to fight the Narzies.
This is a task for you as well. I know, that most of the Liberal world have gone half crazy and are gearing up for an anti Trump movement. This is as wrong as going anti liberal. To me, that would be the division that would have won.
What we need is not more division, but more compromise, cross the aisle dialogue, also internationally. Finding a middle path between terrorist and most muslims, and also support the dialogue.
Finding a middle path with the enemies. Not fighting Russia, only fighting China.
In this perspective, people in th US as well a abroad will see, hopefully, a unifier and not a divider, as a contrast to Trump.
It requires dialogue, discussion, reflection on each issue. It is really difficult, but it is extremely difficult to be the President of the United States. The most challenging job of the world, I suppose.
Anyway, please Joe, do not go down that road of division, but try to unite the world. Fight those fights you need to, but not more than that. And be predictable, so that people understand what is going on.
Be a unifier.
G-d bless the will to be a unifier.
Ok, it seems to me, that the Biden administration is finally taking up the idea of doing an advanced, complicated yet possibly successful strategy in foreign policy.
This is what we did in the Obama era, and that was, one of the most successful phases of American power.
There have been other successful phases of American power off cause, this is not to diminish the vast and world changing role that America has had through history, just to try and link this period with the last period.
Ok, where do we start. In fact, to Change things a little let me start with an inverted Trump citation made by one of the philosophical founding fathers of the U.S. Alexis de Tocqueville. A French philosopher traveling the U.S. at its inception, more or less.
He said, ‘America is good, and that is what makes it great. The day it is not good anymore, it will cease to be great.’
In other words, what we do, both domestically as well as in foreign policy MUST be based on an ethical understand of the acts that America. America will loose its greatness the day the ethics is abandoned.
That is why, we have to make some kind of solution to the IS problem, that does not involve spreading these marauders all over the place.
I get it, the Kurds have a problem, we need to fix it. But we could send them somewhere else, where they do less of a damage, and ceases to inflict much harm to anyone. How we stop them of being radicalized, beats me, but they shouldn’t annoy anyone, and not the Europeans, they are really dangerous.
Then the Russians. I know, that it was a Trump era policy to have some kind of alliance with Putin. But it started in the Obama era, and I supported it. First of all, because as Russia have become a Democratic and Christian nation, more or less, then we do not have any ideological differences anymore. Secondly because in a fight with China, not having to worry about Russia is pretty important.
For Russia, they are ok with not being a part of the worlds conflicts. They are either asleep, og wide awake. Don’t poke the bear, as someone would say. Because the bear is pretty strong and lethal when it wakes up. It happened to Napoleon, it happened to Hitler, and they both lost. In a way here after the Cold War, with Western Europe more or less collapsing due to the induced corruption, Russia also won that war. We just never really realized what they were doing, and the process to get back on track is pretty difficult, though we are getting somewhere.
Maybe this is boring, and not new, but the fact of the matter is, that we have China as an opponent, and we need to strategize according to that.
It is no secret, that what we are doing is to our own interest. But at the other hand, neither are everybody else’s.
So, that is my advice, play the international game with skill, otherwise, we definitely will loose.
G-d bless the will to be smart in relations to foreign as well as domestic policy.
Guys, we are in trouble, again, if I may be so bold.
Ok, let me be absolutely honest with you, where did this strand of “Change” come from, and where does it lead.
Well, it comes from a European Socialdemocratic tradition that has developed under the yoke of different fascist enemies.
My first political mentor Per alias “Tom”, was a freedom fighter in the second world war. He was a part of the tradition that gave us the freedom fighters of Spain and he himself had fought vigorously against the nazis.
Pretty cool guy.
I met him at university where I studied history at that time.
His version of Socialdemocratism let him to fight, and risk his life in the organisation BOPA, Borgerlige partisaner.
What he fought for, was a world, where people are free from opression, living in a democratic world.
So, when I initiated my own career or whatever you call it, I tried to look into the problems we have had with socialism as well as liberalism.
My conclusion was quite clear, when Stalin abandoned the democratic cause in the Spanish civil war, socialism fell. It is the component of democracy, the “republic”, that needs to be in there, to make it work.
And, another thing. Marx abandoned faith to make “dialectic materialism”, that is a communist idea without faith.
That takes out g-d out of the equation. Another fault to my mind.
Without G-d there will be no drive towards goodness in life.
So I wanted to fix these two problems of Socialdemocratism.
That is the basis of Change.
G-d bless America, remember. We fought islamic fascism, remember?
This has given Socialdemocratism a breather, and it is rebounding in Europe. Denmark where I live, it is all healthy and sound.
France as well, it is finding its way as well. A new fascist enemy, the rebirth of Democracy and so on.
I fixed the problems.
But in US, due to Trump, not to be mean to Trump, but just to state the pretty obvious, Change is somehow seen as a Trump thing. And the Socialdemocrats there are rapidly going down the old, sucking, corrupt hole that were sucking the life out of Socialdemocratism before Obama.
The Change that I and Obama did is rapidly evaporating.
Now, I cant do anything about it, it seems to me, that you guys have gone pretty far down the rabbit hole, and that is understandable due to all the trouble of the Trump presidency.
But seriously, taking all the good things of Change and ditching that as well. That is a problem, and it seems to me, it is actually accelerating into an even more destructive version of Socialdemocratism.
Guys, a sound society is a society based on healthy families living in healthy cities. All based on a small but efficient state, to help those in need.
A good, hardworking population that shares the same ideals and dreams.
The unity that heals is yet to be seen, and it is getting further and further away.
What will happen in four years, I will tell you what will happen, destruction, mayhem, revolution, animosity and lack of cohesion.
What did we dream about in the Spanish civil war? We dreamt of a society that was sound and healthy, a society with amble room for everybody and peace within the republic.
That and a sound faith in spirit.
Raise that ancient motheaten banner that Stalin took down, and you will have a good society, where people are truly happy to be in, because that is what it is all about. The happiness of the people, right?
Not your own satisfaction of winning the game, but he people, remember?
G-d bless the will to be a unifier and not a someone who makes chasms of disunity between people.
Ok, so the world is really changing, one of the main changes, I suppose is the abandonment of Obama principles that lead the world before Biden came to power. Trump didnt change much of the Obama ideas in his presidency, if anything, he enhanced them. So for me, being an Obama supporter, and having envisioned many of these principles, that was actually ok.
But now they are, rapidly being abandoned. The economoc ideas behind Obamas ideas, the “Obamanomics” is abandoned. The fight against Isis is abandoned, the only thing that is left, is the fight against China.
But not to support Taiwan and Hong Kong, two democratic enclaves in and around China, but to help and support Turkish muslims, that happen to be islamists.
Ok, talk about a 180 degree turnaround.
Add to this the animosity between the US and Russia, we have a new world order indeed. But just a skewed, unatainable order in the view of at least us Europeans. I mean, what is really the idea about fighting Russia. Yes, there is Ukraine, but apart from that, Russia is a partner in business, and they like us.
At the other hand, why abandon the fight against Isis? I mean here in Denmark, we democratic fighters against islamism have, some of us, almost made it out of solitary confinement, because we fought Isis, so now we should be in on the acceptance of Isis?
Seriously, there hasnt even been a acceptance of what we did, so the reconciliation should be between free Isis members, and jalied democratic/humanistic islamcritics?
Are you totally out of your mind. The wounds after Charlie Hebdo and the attack against the Vilks comitee hasnt even remotely healed, and we have numerous, daily attacks against the civil population all the time. So you want to talk peace to someone who are still jalied. At least, let us out of the jail, recognize the massive work we have done for the west, and maybe then we talk about it. Oh, and by the way, please stop the daily terrorattacks as well.
This leaves Denmark in a really hard spot. Maybe rest of the Europeans powers kind of feel the same feeling of unreal we feel here in Denmark?
This again leaves a power vacuum to take up for the European powers, becuase IS is still a very viable threat in the Middle East, and the process of abandoning the slavery of being tools for the world powers proxy war has begun.
I mean, whý is it, that the Middle East should fight the wars between Russia and the US?
There must be a middle ground here somewhere. Maybe the Middle East should just step back a bit, and leave the worlds bickering and problems. Maybe that is not such a bad idea.
I dont really know, but I do know, that abandoning the fight against IS makes absolutely no sense from where I am standing, and I hope, that at least some of the European Powers can see the folly leaving a fight we were actually winning.
G-d bless the fight we will continue against a foe of unimaginable terror.
Well, now the West seems to have stopped supporting the anti Isis coalition of most of the world including most major powers in the Middle East.
Add to this, the Kurds are kind of caught in the middle.
What is essentially happening. It is, sorry to say, the West that is reverting to its default state of not really understanding the Middle East, and not really caring either.
The nuanced, respectful, deep, religious understanding that the Obama administration showed in the Middle East has been changed with a numb, disrespectful understanding, that really puts the sacrifice that the Kurds did to fight Isis in a poor light. 50.000 men the Kurds sacrificed to fight this evil, a sacrifice, that is now forgotten by the West, as it is importing Isis to the West to give Isis safe haven.
What do we do? I mean, the peace project, the stability that we gave the Middle East. Israel as the great harbinger of truth, honesty and peace.
It is not understood or respected by the West anymore.
So what do we do?
The only reasonable course for the Middle East is to do its own thing. I mean, maybe the West have gone back to not understanding the moral maze of the Middle East, the “Lawrence of Arabia” process is over, seen from the West perspective.
For now at least, hopefully a new administration in the White house will accept and take up the beacon of peace again in a future constellation. At least to me, it seems, that some of the liberal future candidates seems to buy into the advanced understanding of the Middle East as a possible solution to the conflicts.
So my advice is, forget about the West right now, and let us just continue to make an serious ecumenical attempt at finding common ground. Perhaps the newfound sympathy for Islamic State will vane after a few years, and the inevitable terrorist attacks.
But the rest of the religious world should, to my mind, try to find common ground, and find peace.
This will be difficult, especially for Israel that is traditionally allied with the US. But this process is something that should last for more than just ten years, it should be an eternal process to make peace in the world.
It is difficult, but we need to think ten, twenty and a hundred years from now. To a time, where there is a common ground between all the monotheistic religions, and we can choose to do it ourselves.
With a heartful thank you to the Kurds, that made this possible, essentially. They should be considered the good guys, as they are.
G-d bless the peace we can find.
My Bangladeshi family have always been a staunch supporter of western values. My father Mohammad Liaquat Hussain attended a British led boarding school, and was a freedom fighter in the Bangladeshi fight for freedom.
He always talked about Mohatma Ghandi, and his fight for freedom. But he still supported the British institutions that are still in place in both Pakistan as well as Bangladesh.
It was quite an eye opener for me, to talk to mr. Parviz a Pakistani scholar, and the identity crisis that is there in Pakistan these days.
At the other end of the spectrum, there is Isis and Al Quada, the Muslim Brotherhood and all the other pro islamists parties.
To be honest about these conflicts, there is an internal discussion within the Muslim community on to how to understand Western culture.
Here I believe, that we in the West must truly understand this discussion, and be a viable as well as honest partner.
I truly understand what it is, to lose ones religion. I have fought a vigorous battle to keep my spiritual identity, I still do.
Being active as well as constructive partners in the internal Muslim discussion, we in the West are not helping, if we do not understand it, or pick the wrong alliances out of ignorance.
Right now, the Danish system, represented by the police, seems to pick Islamic state as some kind of protected minority. They actively help them, saying one thing doing another.
This is the opposite of understanding Sunni Islam.
It only adds to the difficulty of the liberal Muslims trying to get a hand on their own identity. It is really destructive. We need to understand what is going on in the Muslim community to be a viable and serious partner.
Supporting Isis is not such a way.
Supporting the Kurds and fighting Turkey is much more supportive of the Muslim liberal world.
To be taken serious in a complicated world, requires insight.
These days, it seems to me, that only the liberal Muslims are supporting me, that is a problem, right then and there.
To my understanding, we need to resaddle, and fight the Islamists, as we have done so far, and support liberal Muslims.
Only then do we actually further the internal process of the Muslim community.
You know, they are just as us, some are grappling with their own identity, some are going berserk radicalized, others understand and like our humanistic democracies.
Finding that middle way is pretty important, I think, not only for us, but especially with Muslims, that are, quite frankly in two minds these days.
That is hard, but important.
G-d bless the will to be honest and wise in these matters.
The main enemy of the Obama administration was ISIS. We did that, because these guys are a murdering lot. But also because by pointing out precisely the extremists of the muslim world, that most other Muslims despise for their radicality and lack of humanism, we protected most other muslims.
So it was a win win.
In this fight, we had a tremendous help from most of the world, and specifically the Kurds, that fought so bravely against the Islamist. They fought for humanity and human rights.
Today, nobody really remembers them, but they are left with all the islamic state fighters in vast camps on their territory.
This is something I personally belive to be a great shame, but I also believe, that it could be a possible way to remake the American leading role in the world.
If the Biden administration picks up the fight against Isis, it could actually draw some of the other power with it.
So where do we stand with Isis?
First of all, it is not over. Isis still holds vast alliances around the world. Not least in the Middle East, where Turkey is still a direct donater. This is off cause unacceptable, and should be fought, vigourously.
At the same time, a lot of the European countries, and not least the European Union itself have been playing a double game.
I have been persecuted by the state for many years, and that was because the secret police the “KGB”, secretly supported ISIS.
It has been unofficial, but lately PET, as it is called, is more open with its direct support of Isis. They have just launched a pro isis campaign within Denmark, and are, again, trying to put the pro democratic fighters down.
Add to this, in Mozabique, they have just opened a new front.
So they are not beat, and they still have allies, not least my own country, sad to say, that tries to create a safe haven here. As an example, one of the fighters, that have actively raped, killed and murdered Kurds, lives in a secure environment here in Denmark. See the picture attached, at the same time, the PET is actively trying to put down pro democrats.
One of the difficult twists of this, is the fact, that the brave Socialdemocratic PM of Denmark, ms. Frederiksen, is hardpressed by the PET to support Isis, and she is really in trouble.
How we deal with this is difficult, but at least the PM knows this, and have the power to change the prioities of the PET, if she is strong enough.
Maybe a warm hand from the Americans would serve as a good support, after all, we are trying to survive the zombie apocalypse here, so to speak.
Anyway, regaining an international coalition against Isis is a good way to create bonds and share values. We fight for at humanistic/democratic world. Against slavery and a deathcult.
G-d bless the will to fight for a better world.
Trýing to pick up where Obama left is pretty difficult, there has run a lot of water under the bridge, so to speak, so we need to relay the whole security perspective to this.
But, the essential stratifications are still the same. On the right flank the greatest threat is the rise of islamism, or rather traditional sunni islam (the shias seems to be less agressive in a strange way, or it may just be the essential Zoroastrianist vibe of that country, that makes it positive, I dont know). Anyway, Islamic State, Al Quada, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas all these branches of a pro califate Islam threaten the integrity of the Democratic State.
Most obvious is France, where the French Republic have been waging a blistering war with the brothers, and lost momentum. The main Churh of Northe Dame has been torched, a french teacher have been beheaded and so on and so forth.
That is war.
If the US is to gain a presiding role over that conflict, it must deliver a Democratic answer, and at the same time reach out to moderate muslims, who are open to dialogue. To be honest, I was personally very positively surprised to talk to mr. Parviz, that is honest about the conflict and seems to want some sort of reconciliation.
That is real progress there. We at the other hand, have to respect, that the G-dlessness of our systems can be difficult for Muslims. The lack of family cohesion and the aim of society to be good.
These things are something we need to work on, to my mind. The divorce rates are through the roof, our families are really suffering, and the loss of spirituality is a problem to me. Not that it should be a repressive spirituality, but we have lost sight of what life is about; kindness, healing, selfsacrifice, solidarity.
But security wise, fighting Al Quada and the Islamic State is important, if we are to regain a leading role in Europe, because that is what is happening here.
At the left flank, there is China, and again we need to understand this fight in ideological terms. When Alexander the Great fought his wars it was all in the name of freedom for the hellenic people, he won, because his people believed in him, pushing forward to free the greek.
Any fighting force needs a why and a how to be able to fight, especially the American military that is essentially a humanistic/democratic force. Fighting for Democracy.
Now, as Alexander the Great went along, in the end he fought becuase he was good at it, for no reason really, and the troops wanted to go home.
That is a lesson learned there. Soldiers need a motive, and the best motive is Democracy.
We should off cause defend the American Democracy, but it makes sense to pick a fight over Taiwan and Hong Kong, in defense of their Democracy as well.
Because where China goes, Democracy fails, not least in Hong Kong, that is suffering these days, they need our help.
That is a difficult task especially in these days of digital warfare, but possible for the prudent and wise.
So, we need to figure out a strategy for the west and for the east, and each have to include a multilayered approach, so that the soldiers are in on it, and we achieve important goals of ourselves as well as our allies.
G-d bless the will to be prudent in thouhgt and bold in action.
The international perspectives are getting along, the US is trying to find a way in this new situation, or rather to refind its momentum.
Let us be honest about the cause and aim of an American lead world, it is Democracy.
It is something it has in common with both France and the UK, in fact it is a common cause it has in common with most of the free world.
The difficulty lies in the understanding of how this mission is to be applied in the world.
Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former PM of Denmark and a great fighter for Democracy rightly points to the fact, that the twist over the Taiwanese island is a Democratic fight. Therefor, going in, at supporting Taiwan makes perfect sense, and it would aling the US with all its former allies.
There is still the fight with Islamic State. I thought, that it was more or less over. I had just been to an amazing symposium at Oxford, where I believe, that there was some kind of understanding initating.
Then I return to Denmark, and to my horror i realize, that the leftwing has mounted a campaign FOR islamic state. I mean, we have some kind of reconcilisation going on here, and then the Islamic State manages to worm itself in with the communists and some of their hangarounds.
This is a problem, if we have a IS/Communist alliance in Europe, the fight is not over yet.
Add to this, it seems the KGB of Denmark, PET is actually supporting the islamists. Imagine that.
So the fight on the right flank is not over. The means to fight the islamic terrorist will be different, but we are fighting a two front war.
This is a problem, we need to put pressure on our European allies to stomp out the communist support of IS in the European mainland.
But that should be possible. Going to war with Denmark due to its support to IS is absurd, but if things get more out hand, an attack may be necessary to stomp out this new ally of the islamists, we should consider it.
But lets see if they rethink their ideas, if not the Spetznas may just be mounting some kind of attack on Denmark and the other IS supporting countries in Europe, but hopefully we do not get to this.
Anyway, the fight for Democracy has just begun, and it is about to get bloody, we need to be prepared for that.
G-d bless the will to be bold in action, and ready for at fight against those who value freedom.
I have just finished a Symposium on Oxford with rev. Brian Mountford.
I have attended before, but this time, it seems to me, that the dialogue have been going on so long, that we are really beginning what I suppose mr. Mountford had inteded in the first place with the Symposium, some true ecumenical progress.
We have to get to know each other, and as the dialogue progresses, we actually do get somewhere.
I had a very interesting conversation with mr. Parviz a muslim scholar on the difficulty of Pakistani development in terms of accepting secularism and humanism.
I am a classical humanistic philosopher, with long hair, and a rebellious attitude. So for me, that was quite the opposite of what I have of problems. My problem have been the inhuman terrorist of islam, that seek to undermine the democratic institutions through violence against civilians here in Denmark, and in the West in general.
So it was interesting to able to see it from the perspective of a midleaning muslim scholar.
That was real progress, and I hope that mr. Mountford sees this as a fruit of his labor. Well done mr. Mountford!
For me, I have been thinking a lot about the crisis of the organized religions, and how we may find a way to tackle it. Here again it was quite enligtening, to hear that mr. Mountford in his new book recognizes the basic difficulty of trying to fight for a philosophical perspective in a world of absolute superficiality.
I mean, from Plato to Tik Tok there is an abyss of difference, that we in the religious community have to talk about and find a way to undertand and tackle.
His holiness pope Francis have initiated a “rennaissance” within the Christian chuches, going to the core message of Christianity. In a reflection of the difficulty of closing the gap. I believe that that is a good way, because, the competition of moderne media forces us to show the public, the value or religion.
I believe, that people cannot live only with superficiality, as rev. Mountford argues, off cause people need to have a connection to the deeper stratifications of their own soul. People are complex beings, and reducing them to the superficial level, that they are today is unhealthy for them and for society.
It may be easy to sit and exchange emoticons on the internet, but having children and caring for them, is still difficult, and requires knowledge of how to sacrifice yourself in a harsh experience.
The role of the family as an insitution is still extremely vital, not least the children, that often suffer in this new digital world.
So there is a place of religion in our world, we just need to figure out a way to understand and tackle this new world of digital competition, and superficiality.
Not by becoming more superficial, but by being honest about our own qualities, and giving them, in some way to the public.
We still need profoundness and kindness in this world, healing. We just need a way to understand how we do that in this new confusing world, not least for the children, who are the true victims of this new world.
They are growing up in a world, where grown ups are in a tablet, and not as a supportive living person close to them.
We need to Change that.
G-d bless the will to be honest in a difficult situation.
Joe, you have to release Kamala. I know, that you yourself try to reunite the country across the different political understandings. But, you need help, and that help is right besides you; Kamala.
She has all the vibrancy and charisma to reach right and left.
So, let her do her thing. Let her go here and there, let her speak up and do all the things she is best at.
I know, that this might be intimidating for Kamala, but that is politics, it is so increadibly hard. But there is only one way to Change things, and that is to get out there in the mix, and start the speaking and reaching out.
Kamala has the potential, she just needs to start doing it.
Healing is about outreach.
Let Kamala go to the Trump camp, and initiate the dialogue.
Ask them for at cup of coffee or a cup of tea. Let them know, that you and Kamala LISTEN to them.
Healing is essentially about dialogue and communication.
Dont just do your thing, but try to listen to the disgrumpled and angry.
Here Kamala is your best card, hands down.
G-d bless the will to do good in this world, and try to listen to the other end of the table.
Climate Change can be many things, but one thing is for certain, it is a question on how we use energy.
Energy comes in many forms; electricity, kinetic energy, the sun, wind. We use it in many ways; to propel our ships, cars, the industry, our laptops, lawnmovers. We use to it wash clothes and get to the moon.
Using energy to our advantage is what defines the greatest leap in mankinds development.
I mean, we can talk so much about how we organize ourselves, and we have been doing that for thousands and thousands of years, but using energy to serve us, is a very new thing, only 170 years, more or less of progress.
We Danes invented a lot of the core technologies, how to use electricity to move things, nuclear energy, wind energy and are still the leading civilisation in this area. We are a bit closed about it, but it is here in Denmark the true revolution in terms of energy work really resides.
So we, as Danes, have a great responsibility to develop these standards to help mankind.
Here, I really hope that the Americans will be partners. Well, they will, we just need to figure a way to do it.
First of all, we need a project, here is one.
Denmark share a huge Island in the north with the Americans. Trump was famous for trying to buy it off of Danish hands, which, in a Danish view is just totally absurd. But the interest is noted, and instead of the Americans buying the island, we could make some projects together, that would make much more sense, and be a boon to both the US as well as Denmark.
The thing about Greenland is, that it contains immense ressources. First of all, there is an abundant amount of floodpower. That is, there are numerous rivers and waterfalls, that could, quite easily be used to create almost free energy. That is a type of energy, that is without any fossile footprint.
Put up endless hydroenergy power stations and create energy.
The greatest barrier have been, that in order to use the energy, one needs to contain it, or send it over wires. Containing energy requires a lot of batteries, sending it from Greenland requires a huge network of wires, and that is costly.
BUT, and this is where the innovation of the Danish mega geeks are interresting. We have been working a lot on power to x, that is energy conversion. It is within reach to take electricty and make shipfuel, carfuel, and a lot of other kinds of fuel.
So, a way to get rid of oil and coal as the only way to power of vehicles of different sort, is to make a huge investment in Greenland, make it a powerhub, Danish and American capital together.
How do we come about that in practise. Well, it is easy Kamala, just call my PM Mette Frederiksen and discuss the ins and outs of it.
Cooperate on the PM/VP level, and we in the background can make all the necessary preperations and coordination.
I know, that cooperation between countries can be a little hard, but this is a global problem, not something local, so we need global solutions, work together.
Anyway, there are many other cool projects to try out, and Greenland is really an interesting place to start, start the Change 🙂
G-d bless the will to Change the Climate.
Well, in order to rebuild the American economy, we need to get back on track.
As I understand, someone thought it was a good idea to make a normal Keynesian investment in the country. That is, use a lot of money to put people back at work.
That is a a way, and another way, is to do what Barack did, the “Obamanomics”.
Trump actually continued the Obamanomics, and it was almost enough to get him elected the second term, before Corona, it works.
If have collected some of the core texts here in this PDF, put it in a beautiful magazine form, so it should be enjoyable.
That should be a serious basis for a renewal of the American economy.
So, remember Joe, when Barack held those speeches of “Made in America”?
These are the core texts that underpin that ideology and thought.
So, that would probably get you to the next four years of presidentship, it almost did for Trump, so you could do the same.
G-d bless the will to be bold in action and intelligent in choosing means.
Now, we need to start moving. I know, that Covid 19 is a major issue right now, but it seems to me, that is going in the right direction, and will be more or less solved within the next two to three months.
So we need to focus on the next few issues. First of all, there is the economy. Here we have Obamanomics, that is focus on the industrial part of the US, and a massive support for that. That focuses on the needs of the worker as well, and we need to able to say those few wise and strong words; made in America.
Add to this, we need to start talking Climate Change.
Here again, Kamala Harris called my PM Mette Frederiksen. Mette promised, that Denmark would support the US in an insteresting area, that is energy conversion.
So Kamala, here is an idea, to make it work in practise.
Make a small council of American and Danish leaders within Climate, and make the nerds do the calculations and thus the practical discussion of the nuts and bolts of the development.
The best candidates to such a council would be, to my mind; Bill Gates (he is really doing a lot of research in this area, and his ideas are really, really good.) Elon Musk, here again a brilliant and bright mind, that has all the force and ambition of a true warrior of light. He is a genius as well. Me, to relay all the ideas from Denmark, and perhaps Mark Zuckerberg? Mark is a bit of a wildcard, but he has ambition, and he would be welcome to my mind, he is a genius in his own right, and he is a contender for the presidentship in the future, getting him really into the mix this early would give him a good chance to develop as a political person. And I like him, which is perhaps a stupid reason, but you have to work woth people you like.
This council could push the agenda on Climate Change, take all the developments of Danish energy research and make it global. To contact me, just ask Mette Frederiksen, I am a good friend of some of her MPs.
When this has happened, it could be distributed to the rest of the world, thereby getting rid of Carbon emmission and just make a cleaner world.
So this is my advice, so maybe Kamala can use this as a tool to get a little farther in her ambitions??
Else, I will try to figure out others ways to support climate change, as Bill Gates say, it is much harder to do than fighting Covid, because it is complicated. But we have the research done here in Denmark, we just need to refine it, and get it distributed.
That is a way to move a little further down the road in the interest of the planet.
G-d bless the will to be able to see the world in new perspectives.
Climate Change is the great redeemer or, the best answer to some of the priorities of the left wing in the world these days.
There is only, essentially, one serious problem, that is the fact, that in order to do anything about these developments of negative application of man made progress, you have to be really, really smart.
There are good things, but the few successes illustrates, how difficult it really is.
The greatest success, so far, is the invention of the electric car as a viable option.
We have had electrical cars for a long time, but it really took the genius of mr. Elon Musk to made a system that really made any sense for people in relation to the fossil fueled car.
Anyway, this just shows the difficulty of this.
But my first advise concerning climate Change is to focus and help the carindustry in its efforts to make electrical cars.
BUT, and this is where there is a crucial development that needs to be addressed.
If we fuel these cars with energy made with fossil fuel, there is no real idea with the whole endeavor except that we get some cool cars.
That is why ENERGY PRODUCTION is really important. We need to create ways to make energy that is truly renewable. There is solar power, there is wind power and a number of other ways to do this. But a focus on making power that is truly renewable is important.
Here is where the catch is; the technologies that is behind the whole system are immature.
Take wind power. You get power from wind when the wind blows. Sometimes it blows a lot, sometimes it doesn’t blow at all.
This means, that is a source of energy that is highly volatile. The consequence is, that we need a way to STORE the energy.
Here there are a lot of ideas, but what we really need, is a cost effective way to do it. It has to be cheap in order to work.
The more we focus on making renewable energy, the cheaper it gets. This is something that I can see here in Denmark, where we have been leading in energy development in. Oersted realized the connection between magnetism and electricity. An invention that gave us the electrical motor. Niels Bohr gave us atomic energy, and actually worked on a safe way of making energy from splitting atoms by using a material called Thorium instead of Plutonium. That is an interesting avenue of research there.
These days, the rave in danish energy research is something called ‘Power to X’. The idea behind the research is to make a conveying material between the windmills, solar farms etc. and real use.
What the researchers are working on, is hydrogen as a conveying form. They convert the power to hydrogen and then from there it can be converted to many different forms of fuel to be used in cars, shipping, power plants etc.
In fact, it can be converted to Methanol, that is pretty easy to use in just normal cars. In fact Methanol can be used be any car really, just by a simple computer upgrade. AND it is a fuel that makes the motor run 25 % faster. The fuel is normally used by race cars and race bikes. I know this after doing a series of interviews with the geeks at the different research institutions in Denmark.
So, that is the way to go forward, if we want to make a flexible energy grid based on renewable fuels.
I am working quite focused on this development here in Denmark, and hopefully this development can be to the good of humanity. But, and this is very important to me. If we can work with our friends around the world to make it more green, we are so open to this.
We invented most of the modern energy consumption based on renewable energy and are still leading in this field, but that only makes it a good way to share our knowledge and insight with all who wish to be a part of this interesting development.
So, you are most welcome, especially our American friends, who are really interested in this, but also off cause Germany, France and England. Anyone who world potentially benefit of this new and exiting development.
We can fly to the moon, maybe we can actually put some ways of making energy when we are on the moon, or Mars.
G-d bless the will to do better with green energy consumption.
Understanding the international game of politics requires some understanding of the internal conflicts within the Muslim world.
There are, essentially, two main directions of Islam; sunni and shia.
But within each branch, there are several subdivision. The sunni world, which is essentially Arab islam, there are many different strands, not at least the Arab countries themselves. Here Saudiarabia is the leading light of the Sunnis, with its most sacred sites and the leading ideologies.
At the other side, there is shia islam, which is essentially the Persian version of Islam, that is a mix of Zoroastrianism, liberal ideology and Arab Islam. The leading light of this strand of islam is Iran.
The third, but not least power of islam is Turkey, that calls for its own right, since it is the heir to the Eastern Roman Empire.
Now, we have, more or less, peace with the Shia and the Arab sunni.
Especially the Arab Sunni have become greats friends. We are still in trouble with the Persians, but the most problems we have is the Turks, that still envision the might of the Ottoman Empire.
The Uighurs are turks.
So, in order to find some balance in this game, we need to balance the different interests off. We need to be seen, as someone who UNDERSTANDS the internal game of the Muslims. That is the only way, that we can be seen as some kind of viable partner in the Middle East, and in the conflict with China.
It is difficult, but necessary.
The good news is, that we are here already, and we have made a lot of progress. In fact Trump continued the development that we had under Obama, so we are a very respected partner.
So, small steps, no revolution, but a careful approach, should hopefully develop a better, more balanced view on western attempt at playing a constructive role in the Middle East.
We shouldn’t abuse our power, but we shouldn’t be seen as weak either.
So there is the problem with Turkey, that we need to address. Here the Europeans must get their game together. If not, soon floods of migrants will start again. We need to be seen as a positive og forceful partner in the Mediteranean.
G-d bless the peace we can find.
The current ideological and strategic choices the Biden administration makes has to be professional, founded on a deep understanding of the issues, and hopefully pull the allies with it.
Otherwise the US will be diminished in power, lose the leadership.
Right now, France is battling ISIS on its own home front. We have teachers standing up for freedom of speech a Socialdemocratic president gearing up for at confrontation, all in all brave, wise and intelligent playing the international power game.
France is a rising force in international politics. If France can cooperate with Germany, Europe will be leading the fray.
This is why a thoughtful, multilayered strategy is important.
They Uighurs are persecuted due to the fact, that they seek their own dominance over their land. That is perfect, and respectable. But what if a caliphate will be the result of a American pressure on China. I mean, one thing is, that we are in the hairs of each other, but are we really going to war to make a caliphate?
The Uighurs are not Turks through and through. But Turks seem to be their natural ally, and right now, Europe and Russia seems to be pretty annoyed with Turkey, so an alliance with a ally that will potentially push the Europeans away, giving Europe the mantle and leading role of the world, is that really not something we need to think about.
We Europeans are, in a strange war, much more used to fighting on our own turf, so we will not be shying away for a battle with ISIS here in Europe. We have been cut down and demoralized. But we are pretty good at fighting when it comes to it.
I mean, we have conquered the entire world not more than 70 years ago, because essentially we are fighters. It goes all the way back to our Viking ancestors. France is named after a Viking tribe called the Franks.
My point is, we need to be smart about this, to get back in the game and lead. My natural inclination is to back the US. We have been friends, we are both humanistic Democracies and so on. But France, Germany and the UK are all pretty awesome powers add to this Russia.
So my point is, maybe it is important to think about all the details and the possible inclinations. Look at the game four years down the road, who are we hopefull to be allied with, and what is most natural.
The most natural is to ally ourselves with other humanistic democracies, not possible terrorists.
Just saying.
G-d bless the will to find solutions to difficult problems.
The main confrontation right now, is the confrontation between the US and China.
Why? Because it has the potential to develop into an all embracing world war, with nukes and the whole ballgame. Armageddon.
So we need to be really, really careful how we tackle this conflict.
Ok, so now we ally ourselves with the Uighur. That is fine, really, just the other day some smuck wrote to me; first we take the Uighur, then we take the Jews.
So, there is definitely a parallel there.
BUT, this is where we have to tread carefully. If we paint ourselves into a corner, we will start a atomic war. Say that the Chinese ignores our pleas to help the Uighur, and rhetoric builds, where will we end?
The problem is, that we are not really facing a liberation war of the Uighur, we are facing a geopolitical struggle for sovereignty in the pacific. So using the Uighur as a cause can win over some hearts and minds, but it will also, potentially leave us in a corner with the wrong allies. Because who are the Uighur allied with?
So my take on this would be; tread very carefully, be predicatable, so that we avoid the nuclear war.
We are in a war with China, that is as it is, but finding bad excuses for throwing nuclear warheads over Beijing, is a very bad idea.
Add to this the fact, that Europe is gearing up for a war with ISIS, the US will loose the initiative in the European theatre.
So, leadership is about getting real about the different priorities in the world, it is not in the interest of Europe, Russia or any other coalition to support the Uighur 100%, but it is a priority to tackle China for most large powers, so a balanced and skilled priority here is really important.
Let China feel, that there is a certain liberty in their affairs, but push them hard economically as well on humanistic values. See that China liberates the Uighurs, but don’t threaten to nuke Beijing if they don’t.
See? It is a diplomatic dance, that needs to lead to somewhere.
G-d bless the peace we will find in the end.
To understand the way of the US, one needs to understand what it really is. To me, this was realized, when I attended the symposium in Oxford a few months back, and heard a lecture of two esteemed gentlemen on Johnny Cash. One thing really sprung to attention, and that was the dream of the US as of being a new Israel.
This is really the background story behind the unwavering support of the US to Israel, and the reason why Israel and the US is so close. Because as Israel is the home of the Jews, it is also a part of the American dream.
Now, before we start lecturing on this topic, which I believe is pretty much what the US is all about, I believe, that we should go back a step, and look at what Israel really is, or is supposed to be.
It is all written in the Bible, in the story about Adam and Eve. It says, that Adam Kadmon, as we call him in Jewish circle, the first man, was a man living in Eden.
So this is really the key to understanding Israel, because what is Israel? It is the religious attempt at coming back to Eden as a place here on earth.
And this is really where things get interesting, because then the next logical or obvious question is; what is Eden?
If you look at the Bible or the Thorah from a superficial perspective, you do not really get it. Eden seems to be a place in heaven or something of that nature. But the true perspective is, that Eden, or rather Eridu, the first city of man, actually existed.
So what is really the interesting thing about this city of Eden?
The thing is, that according to my research, and other research done in the Middle East, Eridu is the home of all the mechanisms and lore of mankind; religion, city state ideas, law and so on.
Eden is, if we perfect the ideas given to us in the Middle East by the city states that sprung up there.
See? It is something real. Something attainable.
That is the truth behind the American Dream, Israel is real and attainable. We do not have to be forced to go down as miserable, unhappy people. We can actually, by building a good system according to all the eternal principles of Eden as a city, make a Utopia, it is real.
So that is what we need to remember and tell ourselves from time to time, the job is not finished, it has just started, the dream needs its builders to finish the job. There is still some way to go.
G-d bless the United States of America and Israel.
The European attachment to Russia through Germany seems to bear fruit when it comes to Turkey. If Germany and Russia allies itself against Turkey, the whole European theater will look very different.
Why, because then the European defense contractors would have a reasonable levy against Turkey.
War is possible, but instead of being the punchball of everybody as we Europeans are right now, we would be able to muster some defense.
Since Germany holds the chairmanship of the European Union, through the alliance with Russia, Europe would be on a good course.
This is the crux of the matter, and a possible way to change the dynamic in the Mediterranean.
But, and this is really the most difficult problem, the European countries are infiltrated on all levels by Turks, but also other potential enemies from the Middle East.
We need to be able to do something about this, purge the spies.
I know, that that seems a bit harsh, but spies are enemies, we need to remember that. They are here to destroy our systems.
Anyway, the alliance with Russia through Germany shows a whole lot of promise, and can we at least start purging some of the Islamist infiltration, then that would be a start.
This is really what the defense cooperation is all about, and if it works, we may just start playing a role internationally again.
But we need to be very tough on the spies and infiltration in general. Shut down the infiltration points like radical mosques, Islamist dens in schools, if we find spies in the ministries and so on. We need to get going on this, catch the spies, before they do more damage.
G-d bless the will to be a big international player again.
Praying is one of those tools of the faithful, that is more than just idle past time.
We do it to be heard by spirit, and to change our lives.
Now, Christianity is very much on its heels in most of the Western world. I see this, and I understand, as a Jew, that this is a challenge for the West. Because without the beating heart of the culture, things demoralize and corrupts.
We need to understand, that spirit is a part of the way society should be understood. Because if we stop looking for goodness, what is left? It is the valiant fighters for good, both in the army and as a democratic force outside the army, that are the pillars of society.
Now, don’t get me wrong, goodness is always supposed to be understood in the situation, and should never be a cold truth. But it is something we should strive for.
Here again, prayer is the most important tool, why? Because it keeps us on the path of spirit, and on the path of righteousness.
How? Since g-d is what is good, then praying will let g-d inspire us to do what is good. And if he helps us, from time to time, then it will always be in a direction that will either heal or further the goodness of man.
So the more you pray, the better the environment around you will become. This is why we are demoralized right now. We do not have faith.
So, what should the church do? It should project faith, and seek to further beneficial solutions in society. Help, do good deeds, and inspire people to pray.
Because through prayer, all will be much stronger. The Christian church, the clergy, the people around the church, and the solutions good politicians do.
Strength in unity and prayer, is a main focus for all who see themselves as good Christians. I say this as a Jew, and to further the mission of Israel; to be a home for all monotheistic religions.
G-d bless the struggling Christians, and may they prevail.
How do the US pick up the beacon of Democracy that it once held, and should hold again, to my mind?
Well, we need to start all over again, a lot of the progress Barack and I did in his presidency is now pretty much gone, and to honest, we did make some mistakes, that we did try to mend after.
Anyway, what do we do?
Well, as I see it, we need to find the right things to do, and then do them.
I believe, that the support of the Burmese democratic insitutions is a step in the right direction, but we need to do more, and we need to be able to say; well in the US the system is good, look this is how you do Democracy, by having freedom of speech and a robust protection of the laws of the founding fathers. Add to this a humanistic attitude, there you have it, a great way to make a policy.
In this way, by being a good example, things may just move forward. But we need to be able to look at ourselves, and be very ethical about how we do Democracy ourselves, being a good example is pretty important when you seek to bolster and further an ideal.
So, it is both an internal process of trying to live up to the ideals ourselves, as well as projecting Democratic power where it is necessary. But it is a narrow ethical path to walk, and it is the best system of government so we need to bolster that idea again and again, being good persons, thinking good thoughts and making good acts.
G-d bless Democracy.
It seems to me, that the UK environment generally is getting a bit better. The depression and misfortune has been turned around, and we are working towards brighter times.
The basic reason of this development is the fact, that the entire system can now refer to itself, and not to a greater organisational unit.
The wounds are slowly healing, and we have had the incident with Captain Tom, that somehow reminded us of what we are. The resilience in the face of danger, the sheer bravery and the family of the beautiful Moores.
The ‘we shall overcome’ seems to be heard as a faint echo in the soul of the nation. Soon spring will be there and the nation will lift itself up once again.
This is something special, only the brits could have done it, and it will be a very beacon of hope to others whom will want to be like the brits.
There is a lot of work to be done, and hopefully, when we get out of the depression, this is possible in a focused and serious manner. A ‘can do’ spirit.
Captain Tom showed us that, let us follow his example.
G-d bless the fair isles of the British, and may it overcome.
We are trying to find our feet again in the Middle East, and since, I have become a player again, these are my ideas about the Middle East, that gave a lot of progress the first time, so maybe it can continue.
We need to be very careful not to be involved in the feud between the Arabs and the Persians. We are supposed to bring peace, and we can only do that, if we do not play the internal game in between the Persians and the Arabs, that is Iran and the Arabian kingdoms including Egypt (they are not Arabs, but have a close relationship to the Arabs).
The continued infighting between the sunni and shia is one of the main motors of the conflicts of the Middle East. So if we want to make peace, fuelling these conflicts is not the right way to do it.
Contrary, we need to find a way to balance the interests off, and be the man in the Middle.
To me, that is what Israel is all about, not taking sides, but making the holy land a place for all monotheistic life.
Again we shouldn’t be naive, but we should not fuel any conflicts either.
So a diplomatic, balanced yet forceful view is to my mind the way forward. Make small steps, not long strides, and make peace.
G-d bless the peace we can find in The Middle East.
The world is turning a lot these days, and one of the main places where things Change is the Middle East.
Since trump took over, not much has really happened in the Middle East, yes I know that mr. Netanyahu has attacked Iran, but it has been a pretty one sided action from Israel towards Iran, and not very much the other way.
Don’t get me wrong, I believe in the advent of a safe haven for Israel, after all, where would I go myself if things ever got more hairy here in Denmark for me.
So the whole mission of making a safe zone for Jews is, without discussion, the most important for any Jew, period.
But be as it may, there are many roads to peace.
When Barack and I left the Middle East four years ago, the framework for how things are today were pretty much in place. The Arabs were warming up to Israel, and actually even though it was a pretty one sided deal, the Iranians agreed to a peace accord concerning atomic warheads.
This has not changed much, only the fact, that the Arab world has recognized the whole process and has become friends of Israel.
There is just the one fact that Israel needs to be realistic about. The whole peace process is not really a process initiated by Trump, it was initiated by Obama and me.
So the framework rests on the foundation we laid out, which is the whole idea and vision of the great Lawrence of Arabia. That a recognition of the valiant desert warriors of the sand and the homecoming merchants of the Jewish tribe would find some common ground.
But at the very heart of the deal lies the fact that both I and Obama had Muslim fathers.
For me, I have a Jewish mother of sorts, at least the Jewishness of my family that goes back to the founder of my mothers family Mendel Levin Nathanson, I have a kind of dual background.
That is the bedrock of the deal, not Trump, not anything else, but the fact that there is a true Jewish leader with a paternal Muslim background. It makes the Arabs trust us, right?
So, looking at the peaceprocess coming up, my recommendation would be, at least for Israel, to be realistic about these circumstances. The day I fall, the war will start again. I am the keeper of the peace, and due to my doublebackground it is possible.
You guys need to keep me working, otherwise war will start again.
At the other hand, concerning Iran. Going 180% and reinstall the JPOAC, would be hazardous. Mr. Netanyahu has tied so much political capital in keeping Iran at bays, that we cannot, without loosing mr. Netanyahu just gong ho peace accord again.
We need to test the waters, and hear mr. Netanyahu out. He needs to be in the loop.
So that is the lay of the land, add to this the rising conflicts in Europe, you have a difficult game to play. But if we look at it from outside, we can find peace, if we are realistic and honest about these issues, and not least have a realistic and profound strategy.
That is what this phase is about, trying to figure out the boundaries of the conflict, and where they may lay.
For me, it is about being a player in the Middle East again, that is what my understanding is about.
G-d bless the will to find a smart and honest solution to these problems, G-d bless the stat of Israel, the safe haven of the Jews.
It is getting increasingly difficult for me to comment on the world situation.
The conflicts are rising, and being a man of peace, this is a problem.
I believe in a liberating war or a war to solve conflicts, where no other option is available.
If one side keeps on fighting, the other side needs to fight as well, that is the way the world works. We all live in the same world, and believing that paradise is easily available is a folly, it can be reached through hard word and sacrifice, but truly the material world will put up barriers for us to climb.
War is a part of the material world, and only if we get to have a wise and honest approach to war, will we reach a peaceful world, that is the paradox of the world.
You have to be able and willing to fight evil, to have peace.
This in no way means, that we have to conqour the world, and subdue it, but it means, that we have to defend ourselves.
Wartidings are rising and the drums are beating, not to hear these drums is a folly. Putting our heads in the sand, will not be of any use to us. But an honest appraisal of the conflicts we approach is the only way forward.
We have lived in peace for so long, now it is over.
China rises to meet our challenge, islamists in Europe are threatening the integrity of the democratic state.
These challenges will lead to war, one way or the other, and we need to be able to address them. Be what we also are; warriors of light.
Sad as it is, this the world we are living in. Ignoring it, will be at our peril, rising to meet the challenges with candor and wisdom is the sad, but only true way.
It really saddens me to convey these tidings, but as the Romans said; if you want to avoid a war, you have to be ready for war at all time. We need to be ready for war to be able to avoid it.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
G-d bless the peace we strive to find.
Well here we are again, back at the helm, trying out very best to Change things in a direction that seems both viable and serious.
I sincerely believe in compromise. I know that that is in fact what was lacking in the last presidential cycle due to mr. Trumps unconventional style, but be as it may. He was a fighter, and he fought for what he believed in.
Loosing an election is difficult, I tried it with Hillary. But, seriously as any independent businessman will confirm, loosing is a part of the game. There will be a turn of events at some time. I mean, now I am back as a central intellectual after four years, I mean, I thought it was over.
So Donald, as the highlanders used to say; Scotland is never defeated unless you yourself is defeated.
Now, there is a host of problems we need to address. First and foremost the difficult situation with China.
War is probably going to come, so we need to be prepared for that. Not least the military, that needs to have all the necessary preparations in order. How the war is going to start, we will see. But it will be a very difficult war and since it has been peace in the US since the south/north wars 150 years ago, the Americans have grown accustomed to peace.
What we need to do, is to make sure, that the war is as small as possible, and we do not end up in an annihilation scenario as the fight between Carthage and Rome. We may, at both sides see this as an impossible thing, that China will disappear or the US will disappear, but Carthage is no more, and it was a thriving culture for millennia.
So a predictable show of force, and a focus on our own strength, building our production base again and trying to compete with China is very important.
The Chinese are definitely not stupid, they had just grown accustomed to the fact that we did not treat them as an enemy, now we do, because we have to.
So they are wising up.
One of the main strategies we could use, is to be a part of alliance building, something Barack started on. Find our friends again, and make sure, that the Chinese tech and money stays out of their countries. This should be done in a diplomatic way, but it should certainly be done.
The UK is in a dire need of an ally, and Denmark will always be with you, so that at least is a good starting point. But make friends and reach out.
We are all in a state of competition.
Lastly there is the peace deal in the Middle East, again here is an option to reach out to the EU. Again, here I have a stake, because I live in the EU, and they are also a part of the game, but the EU was very much invested in the Iran peace accord. This is a very delicate diplomatic work however, involving Israel, so we should be very careful not to ruffle the feathers of the Israelis, they are the number one ally in the region. I am a Jew myself, and my family almost got guttered in the Second World War, fleeing to Sweden, so I can very much empathize with the project of Israel, I am a Zionist myself.
But I am able to have a dream of peace in that region.
So here again, there will be a lot of going back and forth, but with the right mindset and with a good friendship with European countries, it can be done. But it has to be diplomatic.
Finally, be careful with the identity movement. It is too far out to my mind. What the Americans need to president to be, is a symbol of the republic. An honest, g-d fearing family man, who care about the country, and tries to defend its interest.
That is the American way, and going too far down the identity track is very dangerous it will fan the bipartisan flames again, and people need to see unity and things working again, not the opposite.
Try to find the middle ground and help both the poor, the middle class and strong, together in unity.
G-d bless the peace we can ultimately find.
Welcome Joe to the White House. It is pretty strange, I remember, that I prophesized it many years ago at the Obama time, but was pretty put down when you didn’t run for president.
Not only was I sorry that you didn’t make it, but I was questioning my own ability to read the political landscape.
Be as it may, here you are, and congratulations.
First of all, I had you back when you needed it the most, and so I will continue to stay a true friend through your service. When everybody else is abandoning you, I will still be there. I don’t change my loyalty very easily.
Secondly, be careful about angering the conservatives right now. I know, that you feel an urge to change all that mr. Trump has done, but be careful and test the waters before you change too much. What we need is healing and coming together again, that requires diplomacy and the ability to listen.
Doing what Trump did again will tear even greater rifts in the fabric of the nation.
Then there is Kamala Harris, the true heir to a lot of the Obama era politics in terms of uniting the people, reaching out to the people of color and staying on the path of rev. Martin Luther King.
She will be your anchor and good friend.
She will be formidable.
So instead of changing so much right now, take it easy, reach out, mend fences, talk to people, be the exact opposite of mr. Trump in terms of forcing your way.
Be the uniter not the divider.
Be a man in the middle.
Concerning all your threats and difficulties with China, that will be on the table before long. Here again do realpolitik. They are a threat to US interest, so move your troops and test the waters with them. But don’t go gong ho pressure on them, show your might, but don’t be too much. They need to know, that they have an adversary that is rational and do things within reason.
Be predictable.
I will try to forge a support for you from Europe and the UK. But we have our own problems over here, and so we may very well need our troops in the vicinity.
But this is not a Napoleons first 100 days, this is a mission of mending fences and feelings, and supporting what is most important of all, that of the American soul.
It is wounded make it heal.
G-d bless the will to do good, do good actions and heal the rifts.
The world is really changing in the face of the American change of leadership.
In fact, things are going to change a lot due to the fact, that both Central European countries as well as the UK is trying to change its focus.
Where the US simply set the agenda in the Obama era, Biden will have a hard time dealing out the cards this time. The European allies are pretty reluctant and the UK seems to be lickings its wounds after Brexit, so I do not see any ambition to try and change the world in a US direction from the UK perspective.
In fact the most promising military alliance right now is the Central European one, and that is in fact good.
You can be for or against the EU, me I have always been a bit reluctant about it, due to the lack of Democratic legitimacy. But a strengthened military alliance actually do make sense. I mean all the challenges we face are more or less the same, and so it makes sense to pool our resources.
Add to this, it seems to me, that the leaders of the alliance, namely mr. Gomes Cravinho is both open for my advise, and seem to be pretty courageous. That is a start, though the development of the alliance is very difficult and will imply some massive changes of policy to succeed.
But with diligence and diplomacy it may just be possible.
At the other hand, the US administration is starting more or less from scratch, due to all the bridges that mr. Trump managed to burn. But, also the US is a formidable force, and a major player in the pacific region, where the UK administration have to move soon to be a serious player there.
Looking at the Mediterranean that is the true proving ground of a possible European alliance, one major shift in politics needs to be adresssed. That of forced migration to the European countries. Don’t get me wrong, I have no idea about racism or any of that sort. I am a pretty brown Jew with a Muslim father, so I can definitely empathize with the migrants here. The thing is though, that the forced migrant policy of the EU, that is importing people from Muslim country into Europe, is a failed policy. Please read that again and let it sink in, it is a failed policy.
There may be many good reasons to start it in the first place, but as of now, it has created massive turmoil in Western Europe, and we need to be honest about that.
It has also created a very difficult security situation, most of Western Europe is infiltrated on all levels. Especially France is totally infiltrated, even the security apparatus.
Gettting rid of all the spies and infiltrators will be a massive task in itself.
But that is important to be able to deliver the necessary security to the populace, they are getting pretty annoyed with terror attacks, and well, that is fair enough. It was not the project of the people to do the mass migration, it was the elites that thought it a good idea.
It has come so far, that the very integrity of the states and not at least the federation is at stake.
Changing that position will be pretty difficult, but again possible if the system wants to survive.
So you see, making an alliance and making weapons is not the real deal of an alliance, the real deal is to change the policies to meet the security challenges ahead. These policies may also be a boon for many political parties around Europe. Here in Denmark the Social Democratic government is sitting pretty well with a large lead in the polls due to a more realistic change in the face of Islamic extremism.
Terrorism is the main advesary to tackle for the new alliance, and that will be extremely difficult, but possible.
What we need is a renewed focus on it, and a best practice mindset. See what will work, and make it work.
Add to this difficult process, we have the peace process in the Middle East, that is very important to balance with a focus on Islamic extremism or islamism.
We have some pretty good allies in the Middle East, and peace is forthcoming, even Iran is within reach of a peace accord still.
Why? Because they are not really interested in a fight with the entirety of Europe, and we are not interested in a fight with them.
So a part for Turkey, we need to bolster the diplomatic discussions with the African countries and especially in the Middle East. They must see, that we are not trying to be mean to Muslims in general, but stop the atrocities done by some islamists.
That is a very difficult balance to do, and will require a lot of skill.
So these are the essential challenges ahead, add to this an attempt at stopping the mass migration, then we have our hands full.
But a dedicated, incorruptible advancement in the interest of the European countries, and true moral force, can do it.
It is about finding the right way, and stop being for sale, then we can Change the narrative.
G-d bless the will to Change the world.
I have just watched a webinar with the esteemed defense minister of Portugal mr. João Gomes Cravinho.
Thank you for a nice reference to Hans Christian Andersen the loved fairy taler of Denmark.
The question of the seminar was; how do we envision the defense of Europe in the future in the light of the transatlantic relation and the other issues that pester the European main continent.
First of all, one has to consider the main question in all earnesty.
The Mediterranean. The Mediterranean has been and is the main problem of Europe right now.
That is obvious, just to name a few of the problems; Turkey, migrants and the conflicts in Africa that seem to spill into Europe.
Now, the main issue is migration. This issue has been very poisonous for a long time, and will be for much more time.
The problems in Europe are many; massive problems with intercultural conflicts often of a horrendous level. Just to mention a few; the killing of the writers of Charlie Hebdo, the killing of a member of my own union the Vilks committee and a rise in crime all over Western Europe.
Add to this massive problems in the islands of Greece, and the poisonous fight with Turkey.
Now Covid 19 has bought us a reprieve from these issues, but that will not last forever.
So, how do we go about seeing this issue.
First of all, I believe, we need to understand the shift of opinion on war. Ten years ago, diplomacy was the only option between European allies and enemies. Even in the relationship with Turkey, that is a vehement enemy of mainstream European identity, the only option has been diplomacy and we have bought peace with money.
Now, why have we done so? It was because we were war weary due to the atrocities and destruction in the second and first world wars.
Two wars that brought immense destruction to European mainland due to its mechanistic component. Mechanization brought mass killing to the table.
So, things change, and now the Second World War is so far away, and hardly remembered by the new generations, so a more aggressive stance in politics of war is acceptable by the populace at large, in fact a lot of the problems that the mainstream political forces have had in the last ten years, have been a discrepancy between the will of the European people and the will of the political life.
Because as while the politician were busy building the European Union, essentially a Second World War project, the general populace left all the horrors of the Second World War, and wanted to fight again.
That realization is something that the politicians need to condsider. Just look at the Italian defense minister mr. Salvini he was enormously popular in Italy, why? Because he wanted to fight the migrant streams, that are essentially breaking down Europe from within.
Now, you can have many opinions on the matter, and to be honest, I am not one of the hawks, I believe in a balanced approach to the issue, mixing diplomacy with intervention.
But, not recognizing the shift in public opinion would be essentially hazardous to the whole enterprise.
So my essential advice to mr. Cravinho would be, to find a more aggressive stance towards Turkey, and find a way, with diplomacy as well as intervention to stop the migration.
Fighting with Turkey is a viable option, and partnering up with Russia in this area is also an option. But finding a way to do it, is the important question to address.
The rest will flow from that, a professional and aggressive yet diplomatic stance in the Mediterranean will give the European armed forces the credibility it needs to further develop its scope.
Here I sincerely believe that mr. Cravinho is suited to the task, he seems professional and able. So good luck with the priorities.
Fix the problems in the Mediterranean and you will have a great star in the halls of all Europeans.
G-d bless the will to do good and fix things before they get out of hand.

Portrait of Socrates. Marble, Roman artwork (1st century), perhaps a copy of a lost bronze statue made by Lysippos
There has been a lot of discussion regarding the state og policy lately in the US. Don’t get me wrong, I try to embrace a balanced view of things. So that we do not get into excess with anything. But rather seek to find the middle ground, so as to make a sound balance between too much and too little.
In the heat of the argument, often we believe that the other one is evil, and that he or she is morally corrupt.
But listen, how do we know? How do we know that our political adversaries are evil?
Most often they are not, but seek to prop up their own political agenda somehow.
At the end of the day, Democracy is about trying not to have predetermined ideas about how things are, but try and listen to the other end of the table.
Socrates is the epitome of this idea. When he went around in Athens, he said, that he was the wisest of them all. He knew, because he had been around talking to poets, politicians, scientists and so on. But he was most wise, why? Because he knew, that he did not know anything.
It is this humility in the face of political discourse, that most often create a better course.
Knowing that you do not know anything, but just try to grasp at straws, and do your very best. That is a wise way of looking at the world.
That is why we safeguard freedom of speech so fiercely, in order to be able to have a chance to know what other people know and how they see the world.
Now, I don’t agree with mr. Trump with everything. There are a lot of things, where I really disagree with him.
But the end of the day, he does not strike me as evil, but as a vicious fighter for what he believes in.
I can respect that, as well as he can respect my idealism.
Sometimes we need to fight due to geopolitical reasons, as we need to fight the Chinese. I understand the Chinese, perhaps better than most. I have read a lot of both Taoism and Confusianism, and off cause I understand Marxism, my family created that idea.
So my point with fighting the Chinese is not to see them as evil, but avoid a greater world war. Create balance in terms of geopolitical development.
That is a very difficult task.
Anyway, staying calm in a situation, where you work up your emotions is good, and right now, we need to stay calm, and look at the situation from a more levelled point of view. Hopefully in a few month, we can have a feeling of a certain respect for each others perspective.
Mr. Trump said at his inauguration, that he respected the legacy of mr. Obama, maybe we can learn a little from that and seek to improve rather than just destroy, build things rather than deconstruct.
We have an economy we need to rebuild, we have a climate Change strategy to develop, and we have China, that is a formidable adversary.
We need to stay focused, and determined to face the new challenges ahead.
And most important, we need to bolster the reputation of the US in the entire system, build bridges and improve image.
We succeeded in the terms of mr. Barack Obama, maybe this time it will be a bit more difficult because Obama was one of a kind, but it is possible.
G-d bless the United States of America.
We are in a kind of crisis in the American public. Everybody are screaming at each other and in the moment of warfaring, we may do things, that we come to regret after some time.
Let us have a look at this from a open source perspective.
You know, the deeper story beneath open source, and the idea behind the internet has a beautiful and enriching story that most have not a clue about.
Today at the most of the big tech companies they life and swear by the ‘Copenhagen spirit’, that is, in essence the way of working that mr. Niels Bohr brought to the US when he did the Manhattan project, that is the invention of the atomic bomb.
He had this wonderful idea, that if you trust people, they actually are able to lift their responsibilities themselves.
For me, that is the epitome of working as free persons in a network.
There are wonderful stories about the physicist on the Niels Bohr institute, that played ping pong in the basement, and went and saw a lot of cowboy movies. The books they used as bats were advanced physics books and in that wonderful atmosphere a lot of great wisdom was envisioned and proved. Today Quantum physics and the development of that last strain of ideas is the end and the poor line of thought that we can muster.
At the other hand, the dreams and ideas of Bohr, are really here with us. The open network to create peace and stop us from going into nuclear Armageddon.
So what lies at the heart of this whole system of organization and ideology?
Well, Bohrs good friend, and the philosopher who inspired him to think about openness as the answer, a philosopher called Knud Ejlar Loegstrup, had this belief, that 80% of all our conflicts are misunderstandings. So UNDERSTANDING each other’s motives and worldview will actually hinder most conflicts.
This is the driving force for my cry for reconciliation and stopping all this senseless warfare between the right and the left. Perhaps, there is a lot of misunderstandings going on. Perhaps mr. Trump is not such an evil person that we believe, perhaps the left are not devils either?
UNDERSTANDING and trying to see the view of those we tend to hate can be a way to solve the conflict.
I am not saying, that people do not things wrong, they do, and should off cause be corrected. But an honest try to understand the world, and see people for what they are, is the best start on any attempt to solve a conflict.
So this is what open source is all about, to be able to give a window of understanding to those who try.
Look at people from an unbiased view, and find a way to solve a conflict without ending up with war and misery.
Don’t get me wrong, sometimes you need to fight, but actually most of time most of conflicts are just your own imagination running wild.
Should we examine peoples true intent or just go on banging the drums of conflict?
My idea is to be faithful to the tenants of Borh, and keep the internet networks open.
G-d bless the will to be honest and humble in our approach to the world.
There are a lot of things going on in the US right now, and many worry about it. Which is off cause both natural and good.
But as one of those, who have forged some of the ideas of the development, I am not worried, on the contrary, I believe, that what we are seeing is essentially a vibrant democracy in action, and not a tyranny coming into form, why?
Because the reason why mr. Donald Trump is so unpopular, is because he has tried to root out the corruption of the higher echelons of society. That is, in all its simplicity and daring, a great service to Democracy.
Yes, I know that there was the desecration of Capitol Hill by someone who saw themselves as Trump supporters, but at the end of the day, what really matters is his fight against the corruption of American Society; Weinstein, Epstein and all of these disgusting corrupt individuals of the rich class.
Why is that so important, well it is really the bane of any Democracy to be corrupted, this was what felled the Roman Republic, and in a sense was detrimental to the UK in the sixties.
Bible abiding, law abiding, families are the core of the Republic, and if they fight against some kind of corruption, namely that of child abuse and other kinds of abuse, well, that is good.
In all this tumult, one perhaps need to understand what really created Donald Trump. Mr. Donald Trump is a creation of the internet. Q Anonymous, that is a unity of the right and left wing internet warriors and seekers of light, are his creators. These guys were born with the internet, and baptized in the light of the understanding of how and where corruption is and was. So they sought a champion to wage their war against that corruption.
That is not going away, why? Because essentially these guys are the heirs to the whole idea behind the internet, that of open communication in a computer network. An idea coined by the likes of Niels Bohr and others of his postwar generation. The idea is, that if we live in an open world, war is less apt to happen, as theorized by mr. Niels Bohr in his famous letter to the UN, where he called for an open world after the Second World War.
Yes I know that the big tech giants seem to feel that they start owning the internet, but they don’t, and they never will.
All the mechanics of internet control via Facebook and the other Social media platforms, will never again stop the opportunity of the true seeker to know truth.
So, people in power now worry much more about getting caught, and that makes the world better and less corrupt.
I am not picking sides in this conflict, and be as it may, somehow I have become that defender of Democracy that Plato envisioned as an integral part of Democracy.
It needed an open internet network so make a basis that I can work on, but now I am truly free to defend our Democratic ideas.
Rooting out moral corruption being the most important task, and mr. Trump did just that.
So, please, from the mouth of Plato, and his plea to all who believe in Democracy, look at what is important for the Republic. It is to be honest, true and just in a world of self interest.
If we learn that from the presidency of mr. Trump, we have learned an important lesson, and we choose to do it ourselves.
Forget about the censorship, and anger and keep faith in the open source.
G-d bless the will to be faithful to Openness.
So we are free, it took four ardous years, or was it even more?, to get here, but here we are.
The question is, what now?
Here I believe, that looking a bit on Russia is actually not such a bad idea. I mean, we have been foes, but Russia is getting along pretty well, and they have a thousand year long tradition on keeping the realm together.
What is Russia really?
Russia is a Viking state that started at the rivers of Ukraine, and spread to the east. Along the way, there were a lot of fights, and it really changed the Russians to what the Russians are today; strong, vicious fighters that sleep, but when awaken are unbeatable. That is the lesson learned by both Hitler and Napoleon.
The sleeping bear, as they are called.
At the height of Russian empirialism, because that was what it was, Russians beat everybody even Japan.
Now, how did they manage to keep the realm together?
A lot of the states that was swallowed by the Russians are still ethnically and religiously not Russians, but Muslims and other ethnicities.
They did it by tying a strong bond between the NATIONS of the Russian empire. Somehow each citizen in what we understand as Russia have a Russian identity. They are part of Mother Russia.
The same is probably a strategy that we could try with the British empire. Create a strong identity. A British identity. An identity of people reflecting and idolizing the British culture and ideas.
That is a difficult thing right now, because we have been going in the other direction for such a long time, and just starting a racist Anglo Saxon banging on the shield idea would be out of this world, not to mention both wrong and totally unethical.
But a British identity does not have to be simple, rather make it complex, beautiful and strong in ideas.
Take the ideas, that I have worked on with Oxford, the ideas of climate change in relation to the Anglican Church. This whole ideology ties into Darwin, Goethe and Classical Greek philosophy. It reclaims the land of the Church, and seek to make people believe not only in the church again, but also in G-d.
This is a possible British project to try and unite the different nations of the British empire under.
A good idea, and a way to find some common ground, and it reaches out to the young as well.
We still have to remember, that building nations in an empire, requires nation building, so of cause we have to be in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and all those nations, and inspire and try to improve the nations in a way that creates a sustainable as well as steady flow of happiness.
The British empire was created on the back of the philosopher Adam Smith, that is a banking empire. But now we need to talk content in terms of national ideology, spiritual ideology and the likes.
Don’t get me wrong Adam Smith was a genius, but we have come to an end with his ideas, and the true enigma we have to solve is to understand how to get on from his perspective and SOLIDIFY the empire in terms of stability and happiness for all the citizens.
It can be done, the Russians did it, so we can perhaps learn from them. They seem to be interested in teaching us.
The key here being philosophical development and Change.
G-d bless the will to be honest and solidify the empire that is struggling and honestly crying out for help.
