Appreciation

5195ZE2UO-LWell, here comes the proposal of mr. Trump on how to change the economy.

It seems to me to be, in some areas along the lines that I have put out; I put out the ideas that trade has to conform to a base of patriotic business producers. In other areas, it seems the same old same. Trickle down economics, that does not do much good.

Talking about patriotism in business is not, to my mind problematic. It is the way business sees itself on a good many areas, and it is simply the way the business should work.

Saying that these ideas are non Obama is not true, I mean we introduced these ideas in the last election, it was actually one of the main attacks on mr. Romney, calling him “outsourcer in chief”.

So these ideas are Obama, or at least, Obama/Trier.

To win an election, you need new ideas and find a balance between freedom and moral. This balance of free trade and a patriotic production environment is not my idea, it is the idea of Adam Smith. So it rests on a pretty sound basis.

At the core of the discussion lies one specific item; motivation. What motivates the producers to keep production in the nation?

This answer is pretty straight forward following the dichotomy of Adam Smith. On one hand freedom that is money, or resources to expand, and at the other hand honour. That is moral.

Honour and moral are two sides of the same coin. A man that is honest, benevolent, supportive and helps other people has a high honour . A man that cheats, runs with too women and you can’t trust, has low honour.

A company that supports its nation has a high honour, and often giving them that honour is all that matters. I mean, in Denmark you are summoned by the Queen if you have contributed to the nation, you get a medal, and in some rare cases you are knighted.

The queen shows you that what you have done in service to your country is appreciated. You can the show your medal to your grandchildren, and get the respect such a medal naturally gives.

You have in American military, you can get a purple heart if you do something very valourous.

The same idea could perhaps be used in the US, give people who deserve it a medal. Its is not about the money, it is about being appreciated, being special, being seen for your service.

G-d bless the will to appreciated what people do.

Jeweler using a blowtorch while he works on a ring

It is really interesting watching the American election from Denmark. Mind you, even though we have strong connection, and we have been allies forever it seems. I am still a Dane and not an American.

But I suppose it does not matter much, because we agree on many things, most importantly to make a better world and solidify the development that mr. Obama has started.

I would like to give you an idea on how I think about philosophy, because even though that I am an academic, from a long line of academics, I did not grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth. I grew up in a dirty ghetto. In a very poor area, because my mom and dad were divorced and being a single mom did not bring a lot of income.

Anyway when I grew up, I was not surrounded by other rich and wealthy people, in fact I was surrounded by normal people, and a lot of misfits. I was a the greatest misfit, because as a budding academic, I was all alone in that that dirty ghetto.

In a place like that, there are however some good things to learn. Let me give you an example.

One of the greatest experiences I had with my ghetto school, was a time we were send to some carpentry to learn a little about making things. This ancient master of the craft, was supervising the whole session, and he was not a teacher really. He was a master craftsman.

I remember that we were put to work on some small bowls, and I realised if I could use the tools just a little different, I would get to make a good bowl.

As a result of my innovative use of the day to day tool, I made the best bowl! I still remember the pride and joy of making that little stupid bowl. The master craftsman, our teacher took my little bowl and shoved it to his peers.

I know this goes against schoolroom equality, but still, it gave me so much inspiration to build. And it tought me, that to build something of a high quality, is a good thing.

When I studied at university, I continued my research and tried to be innovative all the time. But at university it was mainly frowned upon, there you are not supposed to think new thoughts, but just learn what other people have thought, chew at it, and spit out a resume. It never really worked for me, being an artist at the core of my personality, not being creative did not work.

But then again, the lesson I learned from the master craftsman still held me on a course of quality.

Because that is what I believe I learned from him; what you should build is an item of quality. To do this you have to be innovative, use you tools in new ways. But just being innovative is not good, it is when it gives you a result that stands out, that it is of value.

Craftmanship is about that; making a quality product.

I think that sometimes when you may be reading here at Rubicon it can be a little confusing, and you may have difficulty seeing the connection between the things I write. But behind all the items of thought, there is a master plan. I aim at not a utopia, but a system or a building of the highest quality.

I build Mercedeses or B&O not papercastels. Now a Mercedes may not bring you an exhilarating joy, but it gives you a solid and good life. A life of quality.

So if you want the utopian ideas, this is not the place. This place is for the persons who wish to build things properly, the old fashioned way, where a house is built on a strong foundation, and we take our time to make things right.

It may be a little boring, but hey, the house has to last for a long time, our children will have to live in it as well, so we need it to work for them as well.

G-d bless the willingness to take our time doing things right.

Economy

August 8th, 2016 No comments

There seems to have been a turn around in the elections mechanics. The people who vote for Trump, and are within the reach of the Democratic constituency, namely traditional socialist votes, workers, are within reach. They have been left behind for many years, we need to be there to pick them up again. If not for strategic reasons, then because if we lose the connection to who we are at the core, the core will be hollow.

At the core, stout, strong honest and hardworking men and women stand. Let us not forget that, and let us protect them so that they may keep us alive as well.

Then how do we do that. First of all, we need to be realistic about economical methods.

Traditionally there has been two. The conservatives have been fighting for trade freedom, and socialist has been, since Keynes, working with boosting the economy by inducing money into the system. Building things mainly.

The problem about this way of doing things, is the fact, that there is a very profound unbalance in the mechanics.

What is balance? Balance is, philosophically speaking, if there at one hand is freedom and the other hand morals. Any relationship needs both to work. So often we have liberals at one side and conservatives at the other side, each serving a vital part of the equation, making things work.

Traditionally, before Keynes was theorising, it was like this: There were free markets and the producers, factory owners and people of wealth were very patriotic about their wealth. Trying to fund a lot of social work and support the local communities. Still this is very much how many rich people of conscience think.

Take Steve Jobs at Apple who made the iPad to make people read again, and make schools focus on teaching from books.

There are numerous examples. Bill Gates from Microsoft is another great philanthropist.

At the heart of the matter is a true caring for where they are, and a patriotic spirit.

The system is in balance. We trade freely and we produce locally.

In order to make a balanced approach again, we therefor need to support those who are not outsourcing, but those who are loyal to the country.

This will enable a slow but solid growth of the economy. This has been proved by Obama in the last presidential cycle.

The thing about this is however, that it takes time to rebuild faith in a system. It is easy to tear down, but to rebuild is difficult. But the result is lasting.

There are other considerations to take into view, among them the state sponsorship of production by China and other international players, it leaves our producers in a weak position. We need to discuss how we solve that problem. Perhaps by limiting products that are state sponsored. But then again that goes against free trade. We could also sponsor our own producers to give them an equal playing ground, but state sponsorship is usually bad for research and development, it kills innovation.

But we need to tackle the issue.

Lastly, but not least. There is a good thing in sponsoring building in a Keynesian way. But we should not fool ourselves. It is only temporary. For the long haul, we need a sound and healthy production environment.

But at the end of the day, these things are just superficial adjustments, they have to be done to counter the threat of China, but the true strength lie in our civilisation. The education, the morals of the people, the harmony between citizens. The rule of law, science and so on.

To reach our true potential we need to invest in education, civil services, infrastructure but most important of all, we need to have faith. Faith in our democracy, because basically this is what brings us all the goods we have.

G-d bless the will to preserve and develop our democracy.

Enlightenment

August 5th, 2016 No comments

There has been a lot of fuss about corruption in the Democratic party, and related to ms. Clinton. Honestly, I doubt it is so terrible as people say it is. There is a lot of people wanting to throw mud in an election.

What do we do about it, because this issue is going to reappear in this election?

We need to come up with a plan to tackle it.

First of all, we need to relate to our own values.

Let me give you an example. When his eminence Pope Francis, whom I hold in extremely high regard, started his office, he was met by a corrupt organisation. This is no secret, and the reason he was elected was basically because no-one else wanted to deal with the mess. So the electorate chose someone who was clean, had a long experience with conflict in his constituency and a man founded in one of the most ethical parts of the Catholic Church; the Franciscans.

What mr. Bergoglio did was to find the corruption and root it out. There were some in the Vatican bank, and some in relation to young choir boys.

He got rid of it, and he did it fast.

Now the Vatican is accountable, and not seen as corrupt anymore, thanks to pope Francis. In the long run, this will be a very important step in the right direction.

You see, disciplin is at the heart of the Roman church, and it has become a disciplinen church again.

The US has another very important virtue, that enshrines the very lifeblood of the Nation; enlightenment. Symbolised by the statue of liberty and again enshrined in the very first amendment.

If a party is seen as creating someting unenlightening, the citizens will rebel and take offence.

What I am proposing is to do the same as mr. Bergoglio did with the Roman church, to a great succes and do it to first the democratic party and then wherever possible; to enlighten, to create transparency in the governmental structures.

This would be a bold move, and it would silence the critics.

G-d bless the will to enlighten.

Criticism

August 2nd, 2016 No comments

After the convention there will be a next bump, and that will be the release of news on some morally questionable things done by someone in the party.

Well, if you have done something wrong, the worst thing you can do is to ignore it or defend yourself on a basis that is unfounded.

We need to listen to what the accusations are, and act accordingly.

We may have to sever ties to some who are working against us, in terms of ethics.

You see, the USA is based on one single value, that is tested again and again, and should be tested. It is the true medication for a sovereign democracy, it is symbolised by the statue of freedom that is at the helm of New York.

That burning flame, kept alive by desperate philosophers and young heirs to our glorious democracy, is called the flame of truth.

It is by putting that flame at the forefront of our sight that we keep the nation sound and safe.

If there are perhaps someone who may have done something morally questionable, it is the right and the privilege for all who are true enlighteners to put forth those questions.

Sometimes in vain. But if put out with the truth at morality as the purpose, it will cleanse our democracy.

What if you have done something wrong, then what do you do? You admit it, and then try to correct your wrongdoings.

A bad person has no sense of morality, a good person will listen and try to remedy. Noone is perfect, we are all sinners to some degree. So failing is ok, but not doing anything about it, is not ok.

So let us see what the present to us, accept the reprimand, and be happy about it. Criticism is what makes us better persons. To be criticised gives us the opportunity to realign our actions so that they may become more aligned to the truth and justice.

G-d bless the willingness to accept criticism and do something about it.

Southern borders

Ok, there is one last point I think is important to bring up this early in the election; the pressure on the southern front.

We need to tackle this problem, we cannot just ignore it. If we do that it will just grow and grow out of control. People have a right to be heard.

Lets cut to the facts. The Americans some refer to as “white”, I do not like putting race labels on people. But those who see themselves as classic American citizens, they are loosing jobs and security due to migration.

I know that that is hard to talk about, and difficult to tackle, but that is the way it is. As a consequence they are thinking about voting for mr. Trump. That is the way it is.

So, at its core, it is actually not a problem of race that is beneath the frustration. It is a problem of insecurity and social derangement.

Things that are pretty scary, and needs to be tackled.

There is one problem however, there is nothing in a socialist ideology that is for borders. Marx thought that all workers should unite all around the globe.

Well, at the end of the day, American workers are not so keen on the idea after all. How do we go about thinking about that then?

Well, we need to discuss it at the base. The base of Marxist thinking is Sparta, the ancient greek city-state that Marx thought as the ideal of his commune.

If we look at Lycurgus, the philosophical founder of Sparta, there was one thing he was very, very specific about, and that was the fact, that Sparta should be hermetically closed. Not international, national.

He argued, that a commune will only work if people actually know each other.

He was right about that. The basic downfall of all communist societies has been two things, that it was not stable, but too open, and that it got corrupted over time (another thing Marx overlooked in Sparta, Sparta was about justice, that is law).

Ok, enough of the lecturing. There is an argument for closing the borders, that is actually socialist, and that is, that in order to to have communal welfare or Obamacare, we need to shut the system to some degree. That does not mean shut it completely, but we have to control it, in order to make it work.

You may have to build walls, but other less dramatic solutions can do as well.

But we have to realise, that Trump is right at this point, and then make a remedy that is humane.

G-d bless the will to be realistic in a very difficult situation.

Production

Talking about the Middle class, lets talk about the relationship between the middle class and production.

You see, today healthy middle class existence rests on the ability of the production environment to create jobs.

As we see in Detroit, motor city, where all the healthy middle class jobs are tied to the factories. No factories no middle class, factories; middle class.

There is nothing revolutionary about that, it is just the way things are. There is a revolution in the fact, that we fight for democracy, but still let us not forget all those boring people who live day by day, going back and forth to their jobs, serving loyally their company, creating wealth for the entire society.

What has happened to these jobs? They have gone to China.

That is the base of the problems facing most of the classical democratic voters, namely; the workers.

We are talking about honest to G-d people who serve with diligence their community, who take their kids to football, and cooks dinner at home.

These are the people that we are fighting over.

There is one central point that will win them over, and that is; get the jobs back from China.

How do you do that? First of all, it is about supporting that part of the industry that is still patriotic. Who care about the local communities, who have the honour to serve the country also.

They may not be so boastful, and they do not talk about all the good they have done, they just do it. They are truly the lifeblood of industrial America, talk with them, and make them comfortable to the fact, that they can and will support the old U.S. of A.

Secondly be clear about the challenge of China, you need to tackle it. I support free trade, because that is how business evolve over the long time. But free trade should work both ways, if China puts up all kinds of restrictions to our goods, then that is a problem we need to talk about. Perhaps cooling the down a bit and restrict as they restrict.

But at the bottom line, we should be realistic about the chances of an international fight with them.

If we are at war with, them, having half our production made by them is a very bad idea.

So start pulling production out of China by telling, very loudly to the American business men, all businessmen, that having things done in China is high risk, because in five years time, you may bomb the productions facility, so it is better getting out now.

G-d bless the peace we have to find at the end of the China confrontation.

The middle ground

Listen, it is easy to win this election, if we only realize one basic premise of winning elections; elections are won on the middle, not on the fringes. It also reflects the fact, that the greatest part of the election are not running around in rebel gear and shouting slogans, they work in a respectable business, send their kids to school, and collect their older parents at family reunion at thanksgiving. It is called the middle class.

To win this election we need to find the middle ground and the middle class.

I know that the most natural reaction with an opponent as mr. Trump would be to swing all the way to the left, at pitch a fight there. But remember, the electorate did not elect mr. Sanders, they elected ms. Clinton, so they want a middle leaning politics.

This does not imply that we cannot we very idealistic on some points, talking about Wall street. But we need to be realistic about central challenges that we are meeting,

One of them the threat of radical Islam. Mr. Trump has chosen a right wing position that I do not condone. Remember in Europe, I am seen as conservative. I have fought radical Islam for a long, long time. But it has always been with an eye to keeping an equilibrium.

That is why we talk about “Islamic state” and not ALL muslims. This is a balance point between those muslims who are loyal to our democracy and those who are fighting our democracy.

With this Barack and I caught the middle ground on that issue and kept it.

With the rise of Islamism in the world, and also in the US, it does not take much imagination to realize that we need a balanced take on the issue to win. There might be another attack between here and the final election day, and if people see us condoning or supporting that in any way, we are toast.

So we need to fight Islamism, and support democratic muslims.

This reflects the stance we have on the international coalition that we are leading in the Middle East, so if we do not do that, we will loose the leadership we currently hold on fighting one of the most important fights on the globe. Another thing we simply cannot afford, especially with the problems we are having with mr. Putin,( thank you Vladimir for your patience).

So we need to find the middle ground on the issue of Islamism, and not waver when it comes to defending our vulnerable minorities as gays, Christian, and Yazidi.

Remember how IS hunted these poor people up in the mountain to die?

The same will happen in Europe and the US if we are not vigilant.

So FIND THE MIDDLE GROUND.

G-d bless the will to be simple and honest in our way.

American election

Adam_Smith_The_Muir_portraitOk, listen. The greatest knife that mr. Trump right now holds to the throat of ms. Clinton is the understanding of economy.

This is where he has his number one chip; he is a businessman, and where ms. Clinton is he weakest, she is a teacher.

Well, first of all, the great news is, mr. Trump is not a national economist, so the understanding of international trade is not his strongest. The bad news is, ms. Clinton has not really grasped the true mechanics of international trade, and hence is vulnerable here.

Ok, being of a great line of teachers myself, my own mother was a teacher, her father and mother were teachers, their parents were teachers and so on for five generations, let me give you a crash course in international business understanding.

There are two axis in trade; First there are the ideas of free trade. Secondly the national production environment.

The idea of free trade is, that a larger area of trade where nations trade internally will benefit all. In essence what happens is, that a large area of trade gives the producer the possibility to specialise, and then still make a profit because there are more buyers.

Let me give you an example. The good manufacturer of robot parts mr. Smith plans to produce a specialised robotarm to make pigeon cages. Since few people use pigeon cages, only if China is a part of it, there will be a market big enough.

In history however the idea of free trade was a part of the expansion of the British empire. The way it worked was by opening up new markets, in the colonies for british goods. Remember the British empire was mainly run and expanded by British business and banking.

In essence the superior goods of the Brits outperformed the local goods of the colonial markets, bringing af hefty profit to the investors.

This is actually the story behind the link between the critique of Wall Street and its colonial aspirations, though unfounded now when there are no more British Empire.

But, you see, the free trade ideas are really colonialism clothed in finer garbing.

Today the world is different, the time of the weak colonies in terms of production methods are over, and free trade is not such an economic wealth bringing thing to the empire. Not anymore. The world has changed.

The new situation is, that the rest of the world has catched up. Especially China has done it, and then, with a few tricks up its sleeve, has bested us.

You can call it poetic justice, that a former colony has bested its master and is now using its own weapons against it, Jiu jitsu.

But the fact of the matter is, that free trade or no free trade, China has emerged as a competitor to the hegemony of British/US sway over the Asian hemisphere.

This is a problem short term and long term. At the end of the day, we should not be so naive as to believe that there is a higher justice to the power play in the upper hemisphere of superpowers, there is only one rule; rule or be ruled. There can be some soothing influences as religion and the UN, but at the end of the day it is all about military power.

This is where it all ends; military might. Because as mr. Obama says we are heading for at war with China. They are challenging us, and we need to respond. This war will not be with islamic terror capabilities, that is needle attacks, but a conventional war with arms.

This is what you should focus on and think on, what about the war with China?

I mean mr. Trump can talk about trade agreements, but if we have a war with China going on, who cares?

So be specific about this, be honest about it. Say it as it is, we are heading for at war, this means several things.

1. We need to disentangle ourselves with China in terms of production, economy and trade.
2. We need to prepare for the war in terms of military buildup, that is start thinking about a possible war with China.
3. We need to close the gap to Russia, because we cannot fight a two front war, and fighting Russias humongous nuclear warhead arsenal is not in our interest.

One of the things Barack and I have worked on is the cyberwar, China has been using its hackers to sift information and data from our weapons producers, this has been stopped now, but we still need some years to be prepared.

There is another chapter on business production and loyalty that I will cover in the next posting, an area of study that has boosted the American production in Baracks presidency.

G-d bless the will to be a very good teacher.

Peace

For a long time, I have not wanted to meet IS as a religious enemy. I still do not, my dream, together with Barack, has been to create a platform for all three monotheistic religions.

But the attack on a catholic priest in France has changed this.

We need to acknowledge, that IS targets religious targets. As they target many other things, among them democratic targets.

But to ignore a religious target out of strategic considerations, is not right.

IS hates Christians, as they hate other religious minorities.

The fight we are fighting is not only a fight for democracy, it is also a fight to protect religious minorities, and vulnerable religious leaders. As the rev. Jacques Hamel.

It is a fight for common decency, for a world where we can live together in peace, side by side.

In this world the IS strategy to kill innocent spiritual servants is wrong.

Christians need to wake up, and defend themselves.

G-d bless the will to be vigilant and yet to seek peace as the aim.

American election

I had decided not to help anyone in the American election, and I will not do much, but it really seems to me, that the Democratic camp really needs some advice to get on.

I will do this a little, just to get you going, I owe you this, and you are really using all my philosophy to the best extent, so I will help.

First things first. You are doing yourself a great disservice by alienating all the voters that are attracted by mr. Trump. You do not win elections by vilifying someone, you win elections by having good answers to the problems that trouble the nations you try to be elected to. Voters look for answers not for mudslinging.

I mean, if you start the mudslinging, who are you to point fingers? It is not to say, that you do not point to weaknesses in your opponents armour, but mudslinging is stupid.

Then, another thing. If you have strong opponent, you need to learn from him. This was what Mitt Romney did at the last election Barack and I did together. He learned, and almost beat us. Mr. Trump is truly doing the same. The main part of his election content is something Barack and I cooked up; the economical fight against China, the fight against IS. He even talks about Change. Do not get mr. Trump wrong, he is a very centerleaning conservative, he even likes gays!

What he has brought to the table is the problems about migration in the south. I do not know much about this problem, I live very far away from it. But is must be a pretty big one, otherwise he would not have been able to make such a strong political platform on it.

We need to come up with some serious answers to this problem. Something that will solve the problem within a frame of humanity.

In Europe we have just have a bit of the same problem, a lot of migration, a bit more serious because in the migrant train a lot of the IS fighters were hidden, but migration brings a lot of instability. We tried to tackle it by closing the borders, and so far that has helped even though we still live with the aftermath of the problems. Problems that seem to tear the European Union into little pieces, so it is pretty serious.

But, basically you probably need to do the same; get control of the borders to some extent. Or rather to the extent that the voters and the citizens accept. This does not imply that you have to throw out all mexicans out of the US. But you need a measure of control, if the trends are the same as in Europe.

We need to listen to the worries of the people, otherwise we are not truly democratic.

Then there is the IS strategy. Well, mr. Trump has, more or less adapted the strategy that Barack and I develop. It meets several basic requirements, it is pretty responsibly in terms of ressource using. We truly do not waste lives, it works as a strategic umbrella that has a place for everybody, even Russia, and it keeps the flame of humanistic democracy alight.

So we need a strategy that is serious, supports the economic turnaround Barack has given us, and then looks ten or fiveteen years ahead.

So we need to keep production flowing into the country, not out, we need to prepare for a war against China, and we need to fight down IS. While we do this, we need to gather the ressources needed to fight these fights.

In the Middle East, Barack and I are popular. To the extent, that there has been no major wars apart from the Syrian civil war. This may sound not much, but this area has been alive with war the last 6000 years, so it has been a very calm tenure mr. Obama has presided over.

We need to understand what he has been trying to do. He has been trying to create an equilibrium between the warring factions in the Middle East; Sunni against Shia. By supporting both factions, he has brought peace.

Mr. Netanyahu of Israel has not been too keen on that arrangement, and has been a bit angry, but also acknowledges that it is a new angle on peacekeeping the Middle East.

The greater objective being a common foundation under all monotheistic religions. That being a messianic aim.

Pretty ambitious right?

Being a man of great grace, mr. Obama has never said it loud, but this has been his claim to fame.

When he is gone, there is still me to keep the flame alive and keep his legacy, and I will do my very best.

So you see, there are many little strategic considerations and moves you need to take into consideration if you want to live up to what Barack has done. It is complex, and difficult to get a grasp on. You will need to read up on all of it.

Mr. Trump has done a lot of reading on Rubicon, I can see it on his moves. And off cause, I do not vilify mr. Trump. Do not get me wrong, mr. Trump is a viking reborn, and that often not pleasing to the eye. But he is tough, very well read and extremely intelligent. We need to respect this man, and also his courage to listen to the needs of the people. It would be very dangerous to not listen, people are frustrated. In this situation we need to listen, not to shut people out.

G-d bless the will to listen to the will of the great American people.

Too much time behind the computer

Things are really heating up, and I feel I should write at least five postings a day; Israel, the US, France, Denmark, the UK, Egypt, Iran, Russia, the Vatican, the Anglican church, the Copts, the Assyrians. There is only so much I can do, and remember, this is a job with no pay. I do this freely to support all those who might benefit from it, as a service to G-d and a service to mankind.

So, I wish I had more time, and less hurry. I have a major job coming up in a little more than a week that I have to train for (a music playing job), so I use a lot of energy on that. But I hope that this will mingle with the philosophy a bit further down the road, so that I can do some gigs that support the philosophical development, talk about my ideas at koncerts, and perhaps get a bit broader audience. Dont get me wrong, I love the readers I have, I feel humbled by all the good I can do with such illustrious readers. But at the other hand, it can, sometimes get a little lonely sitting behind my computer all the time. I need to get out and meet people.

So, I apologise for all the postings I should have written, all the readers that are dependent on the blog, but there is only som much time each day, and with family, daytime job and a musical career, I can only do so much.

I hope you like my dedication however, and I will do my best to support you all, to the best of my ability.

G-d bless the will to be free in thought and mind.

The will to fight

Things are really heating up in the West, terror attacks everyday. Ladies and gentlemen, we are at war. We are not at war as in the old days when nation states of immense power clashed on battlefields of a magnitude unbelievable. We are in the opposite; personal attacks, here and there, always with a moral aim. To subdue, to scare, to show supremacy.

This is a war with the dark sides of islam.

In the first and second world war there was a war in-between ideologies as well. Nazism, Communism, democracy.

In this war the ideological fault lines are more opaque, but they are there.

We need to stop asking our selves what we are fighting for and against, and start fighting. Stop being so much in doubt.

We need to start understanding, that we can put labels on, and we can stop. But, the main problem right now is not the ideological fault lines, it is the will to fight!

Stop being in disarray, and start to fight!

Be vigilant and strong.

G-d bless the will to remain steadfast in faith on our democracies and constitutions.

Barcelona

Antoni_Gaudi_1878I have just reached my home after a week in Barcelona. It was a bit difficult because of some problems with my friends, I was there with, but the city itself was just amazingly inspiring.

Barcelona is beautiful, has good food, and things work. But what really inspired me, to the point where I actually shed a tear, was the workings of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi.

I know that it is pretty touristic, and yes, I did do the obligatory guided tour in the Sagrada familia, and yes, I did stand there with my camera googling up on the high vault. But I think that perhaps I do understand the secret message that Gaudi tried to convey to us, because of his obvious base in mystery.

Gaudi was a man of a profound faith. He thought about spirit everyday, and at the same time he was able to create, inspired by spirit perhaps.

The sheer genius of the Sacrada famila cathedral is a testimony to this. It is innovative in so many ways, it leaves you baffled.

Gaudi was a man of a time where everything in Europe was industrialised, and we lost our innocence. A time where the slow means of transportation was changed to fast transportation, where people started living in smog and industrial waste. The same time when Joseph Conrad blasphemed in a sorry tale about the old sailor coming ashore, because noone needed his girth and strength anymore. A time when the shallowness of fast travel started creeping in on us.

Gaudi rebelled against this, and started building edifices that was inviting to the craftsman, quality beyond what had ever been seen in the world. To put up a fence against superficiality and lack of faith.

Today we have come full circle, right? We cannot even defend ourselves against the most absurd crimes, because we are so hollow, so left of all faith, have nothing to hold on to. Everything just was left in the trenches.

Gaudi tells us not to believe so. He built a cathedral over hundred years in the making. Knowing that this sickness would be long in flourishing, and difficult to trample down.

He built an edifice to faith, beauty, craftsmanship, doing things slowly and depth in faith that would stand there when we are again ready to latch on to our own roots and culture.

When we stop to be demoralised and are ready to take up Göehte and Kierkegaard again. When we start defending our faiths again.

We would be able to look at the genius of the work of Gaudi, and say; ah now we get what you were trying to say. You were trying to tell us not to lose faith in the beauty and eloquence of our own culture.

G-d bless the genius of Gaudi and the beautiful city of Barcelona, and thank you.

Peace

I have been in a prolonged war against the secret services here in Denmark. Part of it my own doings, and part of it the secret services. Remember how they tortured my little daughter? How they use all the tricks in the book to silence me up.

It has actually come to the point, where I truly have a good opportunity to do something about it. I have had a contact with the local chapter of the human rights organisation. An organisation that helps people who are persecuted byt the police, in Afghanistan, Iraq and in Denmark.

They are actually interested in helping me.

There is only one pretty big problem, and that is the fact, that we need to work together. The secret service and I. We have reached a point, where conflicts between the states and local islamists are really dangerous. Just look at what is happening in Germany in these days.

In this situation, we need to work together, not apart. I will continue criticising and shelving out advice. But I will stop the outright war a escalation between my person and the state, with the human rights advocacy in-between would be.

We need to stop this, and bury the hatchet. The war is on our streets, and we need to focus on what is happening there, and not on warring each other.

I will help my friends Dan Park and Uwe Max with their cases, but the confrontation between me and the police should stop now.

G-d bless the peace we must make, in order to confront the hostility of the islamists.

Angels

Sword of GileadI think a lot about angels these days, on one hand because I am having a holiday in Spain, in the beautiful city of Barcelona, and at the other hand, because I am working a lot with Kabbalah.

Kabbalah is really the secret basis of Jewish culture. It is the well that we Jews use, to connect to Jewish identity, history and ethics.

It has roots as deep as to when Abraham came from the Assyrian city of Ur to teach us about his first ideas of natural science (amazing is it not), and then really a culture that is enveloped in a classical Middle East frame. It is extremely ethical, spiritual and focused on the good of humanity. These are truly the ancient hippie ideology, though truly a bit more tough and a lot more confrontational. We want peace as Kabbalists, but Kabbalism is not at all peaceful in the naive sense, but peaceful in the sense, that it understands what the world is, and how we can truly achieve peace.

But back to the angels.

Kabbalah is about calling on angels to help the Kabbalist in his work. Angels help those who fight for G-d, that is, to make a more just and good world.

But the Jewish angels are not benign, amourous beings, they are strong, warfaring destroyers, fighting on the side of the good.

We know them as Gabriel, Michael, Uriel. But there are many, many more. Angels as Ezekiel, Kolach, Nazeriel. Strong, spiritual beings, that help those of us, who wish to work on the good of humanity.

Then what are these angels? This is really the question I have been pondering. Remember, to make sense in these issues, we have to connect to a natural science basis, in order for us to make it true, and make people believe in us again.

G-d is intelligence, and angels are in between G-d and man. As messengers, as helpers.

I believe that angels are us selves. That is the way we form our little piece of intelligence in the spiritual realm. Remember, if we theorise, that the soul is embedded in our bodies, but still retains a faculty to connect to the original soup of intelligence, that we came from, and is G-d. We can assume, that this connection can have a specific form. We can put form to our own soul.

Angels are then our own soul formed in a specific frame.

Given that it receives strength and connectivity with G-d, this part of our soul can be extremely powerful, if we are ourselves. It is a reflection of ourselves in the realm of G-d.

Then we come back to the Jewish angels. If this theory is true, the Jewish angels are really the reflection of what Jews are; strong, justice seeking, ethical beings. Protecting those who fight for G-d.

This follows the prophesies of the Jewish prophets quite well. Jews are supposed to wield the power of G-d in a manner, so that he lives here in earth. To this end, we have our strong angels, that helps us on our way.

This is what it is to be a Jew. We should remember this when we see walls of hatred all around us, they are the sons of the dark one. We need to, as the Chosen people, to confront these abominations. But we also need to seek out those leading lights around the globe, who fight for a better world. As we are tasked to bring G-d back to humanity.

This is difficult, because seldom are those who are on the surface good, the real companions of G-d. Often it is the little guy, the David, fighting monstrosities with his sling, that is the friend of G-d.

We should therefor seek out the Davids, all around the globe, and lend our strength to him or her, in order to help them making a better world.

That is what it is to be Jew, and we should be so very proud of that, and do it.

G-d bless Israel.

The gentlemen

We have a problem about talking about the true depth of the terrorist issues.

I know why, because I have just started reading the book; The gentlemans guide. We all like to be gentlemen, at least those of us who aspire, to be a part of some sort of civilised society.

The problem is just, a lot of the migrants, be it islamists, christians or druze, do not aspire to be gentlemen. They aspire to carve out a piece of territory, they can claim for themselves.

This is the truth. So while we strive to be civil, not step on each others feet, treat all with courtesy, the newcomers do all they can to step on our feet, to make us move.

This inequality is the basis of the true conflict. Because, not being able to tackle the problems in the first place gives room for the conflicts to grow. Where it in the first place was truly harmless small conflicts that we have shied away from, it has now grown to some truly devastating conflicts.

That is why I have, as a truly civilised person, insisted on discussing the problems we have with migration. Not on a racist base, or a inhuman base, but on an enlightened base. One example; it has been very difficult to discuss the persecution of minorities within many migrant communities in public. The outright persecution of gays, blacks, whites, women, christians, and all who deviate from the norm of the migrants.

Discussing this has been taboo in the mainstream. Well, that is not helping the minorities. As a consequence we see atrocities done to the minorities in Denmark. As an example we have seen the Gay pride being stoned out of a part of Copenhagen.

The list goes on.

I know that this seems ungentlemanly, because why bother with these things? We ruin the tone and so on.

Because, I believe that there is a deeper conflict between our rules of being a gentleman and the rules of enlightenment.

To enlighten, that is to insist on the rational debate on all issues of state, is in opposition to the rules of not stirring up the public.

Therefor I think we need to realise, that in some areas, we need to stop being gentlemen, and start, seriously, to discuss the problems at hand.

It will seem uncivilised, but the consequence of being gentlemen, and not truly tackle the academic problems, will cause harm to all who deviate to norms that I as a liberal, will not tolerate. The weak are supposed to be protected by the state. Our minorities are the weak, and we need to protect them.

G-d bless the will to be true.

The solution to the current crisis

In the crisis we are in right now. On one hand the direct attack by democratic fighting islamists, and at the other hand the rising fear for racism, is the problem. I can feel it myself when I walk the streets. We need at strategy, that, at one hand quells the enemies we have, and at the other hand counters the budding racism.

This is really the difficulty we face.

It is a very keen problem, and doing nothing will just end us in absolute chaos.

What we need to do, is to face islamism. We need to look it into the eyes and do something about it.

This is what everybody agrees upon, there is just one major problem; the secret services, that are tasked with the problem, does not seem to live up to expectations.

Whenever the political class asks the police to do something about it, the answer is, that they do not have the tools.

Well, when I worked with programmers in the IT business. We often met problems we could not solve. My answer was always, well that is not my problem, you need to solve it anyway. That is; get creative.

Securitywise, we are facing a new threat that cannot be tackled with the tools we have, well then we have to make new tools.

The problem here is just, that the secret polices are extremely uncreative, and when they do come up with something then it is always pointing the gun in the wrong direction; that is on islamcritics and not on the islamists.

At least that is what I experience myself. I cannot say if that is a general trend in other countries.

Anyway, to make new tools, you have to work within the limits of the constitution. We are not tyrannies or corrupt police states. We are democracies, so we obey the law.

Here is when it gets difficult, because what is within law?

When we are talking about islamists, remember we are not talking about religious groups, we are talking about groups that are mainly political. They use religion, but their aims are not religious, they are political. They aim at a political system called the caliphate, with an undemocratic law system called sharia. A POLITICAL aim.

That is very important, because within our constitutions, religions as such are protected. But political groups that seek to overthrow the democratic state are not protected by the same democratic state, they are enemies.

This principle will ensure that we are within the bounds of human rights and the basic ideas about a democratic states. It is not all muslims, but muslims that are fighting or supporting the caliphate and the connected sharia law system.

When my predecessors Rousseau and Voltaire worked on the first French republic, there was one part of the Aristotelian framework of a democratic institution, they did not work much with, that is the DEFENCE of the state. This gave us a problem in the Naziera where an antidemocratic part (the Nazis) could use the democratic system to hollow it out and change it into a tyranny.

What is the real defence against such a scenario? It its the control of the citizenship. A citizenship is really a green card to the democratic process. What you get when you get to be citizen, is a vote in the election of government.

The defence of the democratic state is then simple; if you are not loyal to the democratic institutions, the you are not entitled to a citizenship.

If you are not a citizen, then you do not have a permanent claim on residence in the state you may be in. You can be thrown out.

That is, in all its cruelty and radicalism, the tool that is envisioned in the defence of democracy. It is not my idea, it is the idea of Aristotle, and therefor an idea of Athens, the first true democracy.

Now reality is never easy to handle, and if you do not do anything, then the consequences are often worse than doing something.

So let me repeat. The secret services needs to round up islamist, and supporters of islamists and send them through a legal process, if they are loyal to our democratic institutions, then they may stay, otherwise they will lose their citizenship and must find somewhere else to live, that is closer to their political aspirations.

This will work. But it will be tough. The alternative is however, full fledged racewars.

G-d bless the peace we will find in the end.

The will to act

July 15th, 2016 1 comment

The time is ripe for government action against the infiltrating islamist fighters, if not, civil war will erupt. It is as simple as that.

If the state does not deliver on security, the people will look elsewhere.

This calls for some pretty tough decision making, and some tough action.

Let us have a look at it.

There are one overwhelming danger right now; the threat of islamism. The flag carrier being the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas (for some), Islamic State and a number of connected groups to this ideology.

They hate our democracy, and fight for the muslim caliphate.

An idea, that did work until it was dismantled in Turkey about a hundred years ago.

Well, if you fight that fight, you are an enemy.

What is the situation? First of all, we do already fight them in Syria and Iraq, and we are winning. All of us, that is Russia, the US, France, Great Britain and the rest of the coalition.

But the imminent victory brings new tactics to the islamists, that primarily being of mass killings of westerners.

They hate us, and therefor they kill us.

What do we do about that. First of all, we continue the fight in the Middle East, but we now need new tactics in Europe, the US and Russia. That is old democratic, viking heartland. Even Australia and New Zealand is in problems.

This is not about race, it is the traditions of democracy and freedom that was, and is a part of viking culture, that they hate.

How do we then tackle this threat?

We differ between those muslims that support the Islamic state and the muslims that support our democratic ways.

That is, basically, a sound and simple principle, but the effect is, however, much more complicated. Why?

First of all, because there are two other principles we then have to discuss as an effect of this decision. Firstly we need to discuss the breath of the problem. That is, how many islamists do we talk about? If you are an islamist, that is a caliphatist, do we then target you if you are violent, or also if you are nonviolent? That is, what about the great background of peaceful islamists, that create the frame and the nourishing of the violent islamists. What do we do about them?

Secondly, what do we do? Do we repatriate them, that is throw them out of the country? Do we emprison them? Do we put them in ghettos? This is an ethical discussion. Because they are enemies, but they also human beings, we have to treat them with dignity.

This is a discussion we need to have, in all spheres of power, right now, not tomorrow, not yesterday, but now.

The states need to show the populace, that they are able to act, and will do what is necessary to tackle the situation.

The discussion should be open to interpretation, and should be public, in order for people to have their say. It should be the people who decides, not only us intellectuals and politicians. We have a dangerous situation, we need the consent of the people for our actions, otherwise they will act on themselves.

So we should launch ideas and models of action, and listen to what the people says, and then take action.

At the same time, we should realise, that we are in for a long haul. This will take time, and we will be in this fight for some years. The outcome is not given, and we will end up a bit weaker than what we were in the 18´hundreds just after Napoleon, but we will be reasonable strong, strong enough to solve the problem.

But we need to act now, otherwise it will be civil war, and that will end the Western civilisation as we now it, and probably leave the scene to Russia and China to fight over. With all respect to the two nations, but it is not in the interest of Europe or the US to be torn into pieces, just because the states did not have the capacity to take charge.

We have the material means, but we need the will to do something about it, we should take that will, and do it.

G-d bless the peace we are striving for, and will only win, if we act to curb this problem before it gets out of hand.

France

Old_Frayed_French_Flag_(6032746234)Not again, this is the first thing you think when you hear about another terror attack, not again. Now another one in Nice, one of the most beautiful towns in the world, now smeared with blood.

Orlando, the Vilks committee, Charlie Hebdo. Attacks on innocent civilians. This is disgusting.

But I think, we should wheel this around, in our grief, we should not only think about what we are loosing; our security, our peace, but what we can win; our values, our freedom our democratic rights.

Because this fight is more than a fight against terrorists, it is a fight for our own democratic institutions. The islamic state wants that exactly; an Islamic state. We have our own perfect state, called the democratic state.

And all these attacks are not only on people, they are on the idea of the free man in a free country. Able to do what he wants within the frames of a just law, be free in his speech and honest in his daily business of his political views.

Let us fight for something, instead as against something. Let us fight for what we believe in, what we have inherited from so many brave women and men before us, who shed their lives on beaches and in trenches.

The fight for our freedom.

G-d bless the republic of France.

Sparks of G-d

I am sad, about what is happening in the US now, just seeing all the films and the movieclips about people who are devasted, makes tears flow down my cheeks. It is horrible.

However, you need to turn this around. It is bad, but it is in no way irreparable. You need to turn it around and see, that each day, in all across the country, there is a wonderful nation full of hope and positivity.

It is not the end of the world.

Use this to enforce your own humanistic values, where is it written, that each man is the same. There is no such thing as different races. There is no such thing as strangeness because of colour, we are one, under the gaze of spirit.

When we came into this world, it was without any colour on our skin, it was as a spark of G-d.

Then someone put different meaning to us due to our skin colour. This is wrong, there are not difference in our ways. Just difference in the pigment of our skin.

Let us walk that walk, where we, hand in hand, shed our differences, and look at each other as persons, not as black or white or brown. But as individuals, as sparks of G-d.

Because in the realisation of what we are lies a truth. We are, as men, much too elevated in what we are, as to succumb to the race fight.

We should remember who we are, by the grace of G-d we came into this world, and so we still are.

G-d bless the pain and suffering of this who lost their dear ones, may G-d bless America.

Harmony

July 10th, 2016 1 comment

0503-martin-luther-king-quotesIt is really with great sadness I hear about all the race infighting in the US. This is not how the US was envisioned in the beginning. The equality between the peoples of the US, is the very lifeblood of the founding fathers ideas. The idea, that equality between people would bring harmony, is true.

I am not saying, that you cannot control who gets in to the country and who do not, but those who originally made the country, should be able to live along together.

What does that require? As the great rev. Martin Luther King says, it requires that all are protected by the rights of the state. Civil rights is for everyone. That is why it is so extra important that the police are the most non racist in the country. Because they control the rights. If they veer off on a racist cause, then the civil rights body is not neutral as it is supposed to be.

I know that you may feel that “whites” have it less good. I know that there is a such a feeling. But sometimes you feel like going haywire and start shouting and just do whatever you want. It is like that with human beings, there are initial feelings that has to do with our natural inclinations. The problem is just, if we follow these natural inclinations, we end up in a society where the strong rules.

Civilisation, or civil rights, is about refining our inclinations, and bring a higher level of society. A society where we are able to live side by side red, white, green, yellow, whatever the colour.

This is what the US is about, being civilised and thereby having the opportunity to be free from violence and the rule of strong.

I believe it is about looking at the positive ideals, instead of getting sucked into the negative blame game. The US is a harmonious society, where people live side by side, despite their colour.

G-d bless the United States of America

The highlanders

Scottish-flag_2109121aNow there are pitfalls for Great Britain, and there are potential benefits for the realm of the sovereign nation of the Brits.

First of all, there seems to be a great threat in the composure of the highlanders against the rest. With the usual Celtic highlander spirit the great clans are not greedy, and yet not satisfied either.

Scotland is the land of the Picts, and though it has been long gone, the days of the druids and holy water, the unique cultural difference is still there.

We, vikings has dispelled celts from all of Europe, and as a consequence there is still bitterness.

But we as who hail from the strong G-ds, do also understand some of power and the beauty of the celtic spirit. We may not take it all in, but the bonny tale of the young hero is something I believe, we have learned a bit from.

But now we need to work together again, and that will only mean one thing; understanding across the threshold of cultural differences, to be open to strengths of each culture, to meet on common ground.

Lest all the differences will grow into war.

So I believe, that the way forward now, is to meet with openness and trust. We know that the Scots dreams of indepence and freedom, but let us be honest. This dream is unrealistic in its true sense. There is no way that the Celts will inhabit all of Europe again. That time is over.

But there is a possibility to throw down the axe, and make peace. For now, until the great highlanders agree to fight again. Let us hope, they find a worthy foe, someone, that truly wants to kill them. Because we do not anymore, we are long passed that point.

G-d bless the Celts, and may they live and prosper.

The EU

To understand what is truly going on Europe right now, we should also look a little of the roots of the Union, that is method wise.

I read a lot of books on magic, I know many people think this is weird and probably occult in some way. But to me, after having read Jung, I realised that the roots of psychology is the magical tradition of hermetism, Kabbalah and so on. The discussion of magic is really where a lot of the groundbreaking ideas come from. Things that are then going mainstream under different forms. NLP is one of them, there is a lot of Kabbalah in the music industry as well, and so on.

Back to the EU. EU uses magic in a convoluted and warped form. Magic is often the use of spells, specific words and so on. The EU uses this in abundance, power words as; integration, islamophobia, Brexit. They probably do not know that they are using a form of magic, but just sees it as tools of statecraft that they can use steering the public in certain ways.

This is really the problem. You cannot use black magic, if you want to steer the way onto a path of light. It is black magic, if you use spell casting to your own advantage and not to the advantage of good.

Black magic is perhaps an arcane word, but you get my idea, right?

Acting behind closed doors, using manipulation to steer the general populace onto a specific path that you see as good, does not work in the 21 century. In these internet times, openess, honesty and the fight against injustice is really the best path.

We are the warriors of light, and therefore, by the grace of spirit, do we stand by the little man, the persecuted, the left behind. We stand for openess and trust. If the tyrants and sons of darkness veer their evil heads, we will fight it.

I know that the EU does not see itself as evil, but if you manipulate, use black magic, and hide behind closed then you are, well; evil.

G-d bless the light of the creator.

The Brits

4_invadersa.originalIt is hard to predict the future the saying goes. But let us have a look at what is going on the UK now, and the potentail ramifications for the rest of EU and of cause for the English.

First of all, things seem to wheel off from the EU mainstream, immediately. It is like the Brits can’t wait to get the shackles off, and get going. They talk about the promises they made, and how to react to it. These are serious gamechangers.

Secondly, if we truly look at the perspective of a rebounding UK, there are, in those cards the potential for a reemerging superpower. UK has connections to all its former empire partners, and is still seen as the leading light in terms of philosophy, new ideas and political savvy.

Go to China and see how they revere the UK.

So looking a bit ahead, I think there is a good chance that the Brits will once again roam the seas on their viking vessel, though this time a bit more sophisticated than a thousand years ago.

But, all hail to the Brits, may you live and prosper!

G-d bless the fair islands of the Brits.

Good

When we are confronted with the chaos and the insecurity of a world that seems to lack meaning, it can be a good thing to take a step back and truly understand what we are good at, us humans.

One of the problems of the Socialist revolution, was, that we forgot one very important thing from religion, what religion is truly about; finding meaning.

What is meaning? Meaning is to understand what is good. in socialist societies the rejection of G-d has taken this basic tool away from us, and the result is a world where we are reduced to animals. We do not strive for anything better, we just go on our daily businesses doing what we are supposed to do. We are, as Weber says, repeating the moves of protestantism, but the idea; that we work for the good of spirit is lost to us. At least this is how it is in Scandinavia and perhaps in some of the Anglo – Saxon world too.

This is what gives us humanity; to strive for something good. If you take it away, life becomes meaningless.

Probably there was a deeper idea in the theory of Marx and Engels, and I do believe that many of the principles are good. But to take away G-d in an equation is not good.

Maybe it is time we started looking for good again, not the superficial good, or the easy good. But the true good of our societies.

What is really good for the citizens of Europe for example, what do they need?

What is good for the Middle East, what does it need?

What is good for the planet, the rising child, the new dawn of man?

These questions could be asked, and perhaps not all answers are easy to swallow, the Brexit was one of them. But instead of pointing fingers, maybe it is time to look ahead, and take some of those difficult questions and answer them honestly.

Honesty takes courage, we need to build that courage now addressing the problems we encounter.

G-d bless the peace we are loosing, but will win again.

EU?

Ok, let us stop the panic, there is no such thing as at major crisis. Let us put things in perspective. For at about forty years the European Union has expanded incrementally, one little step at a time.

This has been done, mostly, with absolutely no care about what the citizens of the European Union thought about it. Perhaps the bureaucrats and the political elite thought that they could somehow talk people into the ideas after it was there; fake it until you make it, seems to be the idea.

Well, politics is not Hollywood, it is the thin glacing over war. If you do not play your cards wisely, you will be killed, or someone else will be killed. The actions you do, will end up giving you a boon or a basket. Either will be your crown or demise.

You take chances, as the elite has done with the European Union, and you either win or loose. All is not lost yet, but it is pretty clear that all can be lost, due to the fact, that you may be good at manipulating people into accepting your premises, but such behaviour does neither breed nor attract good leaders. Good leaders are where there are challenges and ethics. Because good leadership is based on ethics.

Is it possible to change the tide?

Well, I do not know, and, honestly I do not care much. It is not my project, I have never liked it due to the dishonest content, and I see it more as a problem for Europe than a problem solver, at least seen from the perspective of Denmark. We have gained nothing and payed a lot. To the point where Denmark seems to stop existing.

Things will have go on its way, and perhaps someone will pick up the pieces, but why? What is really the basic idea?

It all just seems altmodisch and very little connected to the fight for freedom and justice. My grandparents idea of a just world, based on the experiences of the second world war.

It is over, long forgotten, the second world war, and we are standing on the brink of the third world war. The war of the western democracies against islamism. That is my priority, and an ancient hegemonic structure to wheel in European Nationsstates so that they do not fight each other, does not meet the demands of the current threat. At the contrary it hinders it.

But, let us at least be careful not to be too angry at each other, at least in the Conservative camp. We have a fight to fight, and a another day to win. Because the rules are new, and the enemies novel.

G-d bless the peace that we hopefully will find in the end.

Mr. Cameron

I just realised, that mr. Cameron is leaving Downing street 10. That is a blow, and I did not see this coming. After all he has done what was good for Britain, turning the economy around, putting up barriers against uncontrolled migration, paving the way for two momentous elections.

I really think that it is a pity that he has to go, instead of staying and picking up the pieces.

You know, of cause mr. Cameron has campaigned for a stay, but he was the one who gave the opportunity at the first place. So he is really the one who served the people by giving them a voice.

Dont be so sorry David, you did the right thing, fighting for your shire. Dont be sad, you won as a moral character and a renewer.

What we need now is to reunite and find a way out, we all supported your way of doing things, and it with great sadness that we see you leave. I think I talk for all Conservatives when I say this.

May mr. Cameron find the path that he so chooses as his own, and may that path be blessed.

Great Britain!

Great-Britain-Flag-great-britain-13511739-500-313I stood up, 5 am to see what the British in or out vote was going to be. I sat there with my glasses on, looking out through sleep depraved eyes, and lo and behold! The Brits are leaving the EU.

At one hand sad, because we like to be in the same family as the Brits, but at the other hand, good for Britain.

Let us have a look at the implications.

Great Britain, will have to take that back again, the “Great”. Great has not been in the favour of Britain ever since half of the empire broke down sixty years ago. But now, as a sole system, it is entitled to the “Great” again.

Symbolically referring to the fact, that the Brits used to rule half of the world, but now only rules one third of the world. I mean, if you really look at that, what is there to be so depressed about? Britain is the sole ruler over so much real estate, that it is extremely rich.

What really caused all the problems after the Second world war has now, more or less, been removed, and England with its cousins and friends, can yet again enter the world scene with the proper sense of greatness.

Once again, lo and behold, I for one will look forward to see what it develops into, and be a partner in this development. Most prominent as a true friend of the Anglican Church.

You know, when you live on an island, often you feel that you are alone, and I know that Brits are not very fond of “Continentals”. But there is an irony in the fact, that you had a strong helping hand in this case. We Danes helped you. So maybe there are friends on the Continent after all. We like you, with all your quirks and your wonderful ways. We like your magic and history, we like your personality, we like your boarding schools. We like your fried fish and bacon, we like James Bond, your aristocratic ways, your blue collar heroes. We like you, and at the end of the day, it may be, that your only reference to someone to help you is placed in the story of Beowulf, and it took a Dane to give you another shot at independence, but so what? Let us take this wonderful opportunity and use it for the best of who really matters; the peoples of fair islands of the British.

G-d bless the windy meadows of England and beyond.

Condolences

ap_orlando_nightclub_shooting_hug_jc_160612_16x9_608It is with great sadness that we here in Denmark hear about the tragedy of the Orlando terror attack, or as mr. Trump rightly calls it; an attack by islamic extremists.

Let me clear about this; this is war. It is a war we have not wanted. We never challenged radical islam in the first place, they challenged us. So, by all means, it is a war that is right and just.

However, war is just that; war. It is killing, raping, destroying peoples life and livelihood. It is broken families, and friends lost.

That is war.

But one the other hand, it is also a possibility to find new friends. The enemy of your enemy is my friend.

Since IS has a lot of enemies, well there are a lot of potential friends out there for us to win; Russia, Egypt, Saudi-Arabia.

Even Iran.

But one thing is clear, the enemy is among us, and instead of covering under the threat, let us be strong in our conviction, steadfast in our steps ahead, and clear-sighted as to what we should do.

Let us be bold and free.

G-d bless the United States of America, and may spirit keep it safe.

Mr Sanders

Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent from Vermont and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, smiles during an interfaith roundtable in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015. Sanders said figures like Trump attempt to "divide" Americans. "A few months ago we're supposed to hate Mexicans and he thinks they're all criminals and rapists and now we're supposed to hate Muslims, and that kind of crap is not going to work in the United States of America," he said. Photographer: Drew Angerer/Bloomberg via Getty Images

It is with great sadness that we hear that the presumptive nominee of the democratic run mr. Bernie Sanders has lost his chance to get into the White house.

We, the people, mourn it, and we hope, that you will set free a movement that will Change the entire American constitution, so that it will remain free and abundant.

Idealism will only work, if there are ideals to strive for. Funny thing is, it is same the same values we always fight for, but, at the other hand, it is also the same value that is threatened all the time; Freedom.

Freedom is at the heart of mr. Sanders pledge, a beautiful, volatile, blazing torch og the purest light.

Put that torch to your very heart, and you will never go wrong.

Because, though our societies are based on freedom as a virtue, there are always a threat to it.

Sometimes we get lazy, sometimes we get convenient, sometimes we forget what is really important to us.

But you told us otherwise.

Let us hope, that that fight is not over, but just a new beginning, for a freer and more just world.

May spirit bless you, and may it take you, as one of his angels, when time comes.

The flow of Change

When things Change, they do it in a specific pattern. First there is a great crisis, then someone steps in with a solution, if the solution is good, there entire system goes that way.

Take the example og the fight between the Soviet Union and the United States of America.

On one hand we had a state that led by morals, or at least that was the idea. To make an ethical state.

At the other hand we had a state that used to see itself as a democracy, but changed as a consequence of the Soviet criticism. It became “capitalist”. The idea was, that if our enemy believes we are capitalist, well I suppose we are.

Still there was the overall fight between Communism and Democracy, but at the heart of the fight was also a fight between ethics and free market economy.

Now fast forward to 9/11 and thereafter the Mohammad cartoon crisis. These two crises were pivotal in the sense that at the first the US realised it had a bitter enemy, and in the second Denmark stepped up and put a direction to the fight.

So the paradigms changed. Before we had a fight between Communism and Capitalism/democracy. Now we have a fight between islamism and democracy with a spiritual twist.

See the connection? In the first war we took some of the critique and used it in our own way, in the second we have done the same. We realise that the threat is spiritual in a sense, and this has led us to rearm our own spiritual core. The Jews in Israel and the Christians in the West, add a pint of Thor and Odin, there you have it.

The course has changed, and we are changing with it.

They beauty of it, is the fact, that we only fight a portion of Islam and not all, giving room for a democratic Sunniislam to grow.

But to truly understand what we are witnessing these days, and see it in the long perspective. We should see what are, right now fighting with and for; for our democratic/spiritual values in opposition to a caliphate.

G-d bless the will to find the most peaceful way of fighting.

Ethics

Ethics is one of those fields that are really hard to understand. Let me give you an example. When Jesus Christ (the benevolent and spiritual jew) was crucified, he was crucified because he rejected all rules.

It is written in the bible, that the Pharisees, some not some benevolent and less spiritual jews, condemned him to death because he healed a man on sunday. Sunday being the day of rest.

If you look at it from a moral perspective, that is what maximises the good of the land in that action. It is true that Jesus Christ did something good, despite the rules and edicts of the Pharisees.

You can see here, that the Pharisees are really the clergy of that time, that ruled and held sway over the Jews.

So what did Jesus do wrong in the eyes of the Pharisees? He did not respect the rules of the Pharisees.

Do we hear a bell ringing here?

Jesus Christ was a rule breaker. Imagine that. The central figure of a complex that now spans the entire globe with a gazillion of rules that people must follow. We cannot do this because the church tells us, we can not do that.

What would Jesus say? He would, because that is why he was crucified, say follow your heart. What does your heart tell you in this situation where you have to chose between A. Following a rule. B. Do something that is obviously right for the person involved.

In this I believe lies a single point of balance between too little and too much.

It is not so that Jesus say we should not follow the rules, he says that when the rules are obviously wrong, we should not follow them, we should follow our conscience.

In this way, he puts our hearts free to do what we think is the most humane.

It will put one a cross often, because the rule makers will see you as a threat to the common welfare. I know this, because I always follow my heart and my own logic in all I do. Because that is what light truly is; following your heart in the light of the creator.

Because the creator has no rules, he has only the attachment to all around us as a rule, and nothing more.

We should try and follow that rule.

G-d bless the wisdom of the creator.

Friendship

Now mr. Trump is criticising the strategies that mr. Obama and I have laid on foreign policy as incoherent. Well, they are not.

Then he says that we are rattled. Well, we are not. The strategy is a strategy, it cannot be rattled.

I like a good fight, and I would love to fight mr. Trump, just because he seems to be a worthy adversary. But I will not, we are friends, remember?

Denmark and the US have been standing side by side for many, many years now. Toiling, fighting even dying.

Now, and then that is abuse, as mr. Trump says.

Listen Donald, I have sacrificed my career, I do not take a single penny for the job I have done for the US. Helping you in your troubled times. I do this because in my view, that is what you do with friends. You help them if they are in trouble.

You did the same to us in the second world war, you helped us. So we owed you.

We do not abuse you, we are friends. We fight together, as one.

I know that there is an economic burden to the US in Europe. I really support the American pressure on European countries to ramp up the defence expenses. Not at least to prepare for the infight with the Islamic state in Europe. That is going to be costly in all ways.

But it is not all about money, it is actually also about using your others ressources as intelligence, strategic insight and diplomatic influence. In all these areas, I have supported mr. Obama from day one, and given him the best we had.

This is an alliance, and friendship.

We are going to keep that friendship whatever happens, because the relationship we have is deep.

G-d bless the international comradeship between Denmark and the United States of America.

The nation

babylon_tower-410x289There is some discussion in the UK on the issue of a nation. Mr. Roger Scruton who blessed us with his presence here in Denmark a week ago, has the idea that you can differ between nationalism that is a vile and dangerous creed and being in connection with the nation, that is an identity.

Well first of all, a nation is simply a system of government. It comes from the Middle East and was invented in what we today know as Iraq. Invented by different semitic peoples like the Assyrians and the Jews.

Especially the Assyrians were some of the first to invent the nation. Things like the rule of law, a social state, kingship, organised religion, literacy, science and so on, was invented in Assyria.

We still have a vital connection to this first step of civilisation in what we in Christianity call the old testament, and in Judaism call the Torah. In Islam, it is written in the Koran.

Religion was designed to be a vital part of nations wellbeing. Take the story of Babylon, this story is about the downfall due to too much liberality. If there is no one language, a common belief system, the nation will turn into a tower built higher and higher, until everything breaks down.

This is a vital story that we can learn a lot from today where our nations are falling apart, and the European Union has been unable to make a common frame for all.

It is like the tower af Babylon in each individual nation, breaking down due to incoherence.

So, in the most of history a nation has been a positive thing, because it gave its citizens peace, prosperity, order, justice, freedom, spirituality and science.

So seen from a historical/philosophical angle being afraid of the nation is like being afraid of a wise architecture that man has built upon for thousands of years, lately building a new version called democracy.

But I do know where the antagonism comes from, it comes from the European Union, who has been in war with the nation as a simple equation; more power to the nations, less to the European Union.

Well, why dont you then just say so?

A nation is, when it works, and unfortunately often it does not. But when it works, it is what makes people happy and satisfied. It is what brings order and symmetry, harmony and justice.

G-d bless the central nation of Israel.

Philosophy

There is a lot of talking about “disruption” these days. How IT tech startups, and grownups are changing the way we see the world. As Apple, as Facebook, as Amazon, as Spotify.

The same happens in the academic life. It has happened numerous times; Anaxagoras, Plato, Aristotle, Rousseau, Walden, Kierkegaard, Adam Smith, Nietzsche, Karl Marx, Voltaire, Newton. Great, great thinkers who saw a truly different world than everybody else, and by their superior intellect as well as drive changed the world.

When that happens, all the pharisees and old guard members will roll off the same incessant drivel about the stupidity of the ideas. They will often persecute the intellectual, while as the intellectual will have his supporters and disciples.

“Disruption” is not only in IT these days, it is also in intellectual life, and the thinkers will change the way we look at the world.

In this situation I think it is vital to reflect on the philosopher and his motivation. Take Newton, he REALLY changed our world, he, more or less, put the church into the grave, singlehanded.

The thing about Newton was that he, as a man, was an extremely nerdish and not a very likeable character. He was often souped up in his dabbling with magic and alchemy, and had very few friends.

The world he made was such a world; a clinical, non personal world we still live in today.

Therefor, I believe, if I realise my project fully, that the world that we create after my ideas are fully implemented, is a world, where family, friendship and human warmness is at the core of how we look at the world.

We need to wheel in what Newton started. Not to forget his many truly astonishing exploits, but to soften the edges. Find friendship, spirituality and warmth again.

Because we may be on the top of the world, but if that is a place of coldness, then it is not worth it.

G-d bless the wisdom of the familymen.

Strategies

Now, we have been criticised a bit, Barack and I on some of the decisions we have made. Well, we are not perfect, and we have done some mistakes. That is only natural when it comes to making international decisions in an environment as difficult as the current political one.

It is not like in the 16 and 17 hundreds, where European manufacture and industrial items, weapons and intelligence were vastly superior to everybody else’s. In this world, our opponents are as skilled as we are, and often more skilled in some ares.

Fighting is extremely complex, and as a consequence the strategies must evolve.

Let me give you a historical example.

When Alexander the Great attacked the Persian empire, it was a showcase in intelligence in opposition to brute force. The persians basically commanded gigantic slave armies, and the Greek were free citizens fighting for a cause.

At the battles there were, many times over, odds stacked in favour of the Persians in an extreme numerality. 2 million persian soldiers against 50.000 Greek.

Alexander won by reinventing strategy. He put up modern positions of soldiery. Some amazing ingenuity. How could he do that? He could do it, because he represented the epitome of Greek thought. The strategies he used were developed in the Greek wars, he was supported by Aristotle, one of the wisest men in human history.

So ingenuity opposed to raw strength will win the day, if the ingenuity os good enough.

Fast forward to George Bush. What did Osama bin Laden do? He made one brilliant attack, and Bush reacted by dragging the US into two costly wars. Wars that dragged the US economy to its knees, and gave no real result. Remember, mr. Obama killed Osama bin Laden with the secret service, not using much money in comparison. So it is smartness compared to brute force.

This is the way we need to fight the jihadis. Not by using brute force, but continuing using the cold war methods that the fight with the Soviet Union gave us.

After all, that is how IS fights, by infiltrating, subterfuge, pinpoint attacks and so on.

A war fought with an elusive opponent is not won by brute force, but by fighting them with intelligence, cunning and subterfuge. Countering their recruitment, forcing our European allies to take the threat serious (we cannot fight in Europe, if the Europeans are not willing to fight), drying our their monies. But most important of all, in these internet times; winning the MORAL war.

Winning the moral war will bring us support from all around the world, because who would not fight along side us against a foe os such immoral behaviour?

That is the mindset we need to use to fight this elusive opponent. Skill, cunning and intelligence.

I think that is why the general public never really caught on to what we have done, because it is such a masterful, difficult chess fight where the overall progress is drowned in the complexities of the moves on the chessboard.

G-d bless the will to win against the terrible enemy.

Nordic summit

There is a great Nordic summit going on in Washington right now, probably the accustomed Washingtonians do not think much of it, after all, things like these happen all the time.

But, instead of just letting it pass as another thing in the endless parade of international occurrences happening in DC, lets have a look at it at a deeper level.

You came from us, remember? When our great, great grandfathers took a single ticket on one of those crammed boats, braved the prairie, plowed the earth, that had never been plowed before. Dying, surviving making a new home in an often hostile world.

My great, great grandfathers brother became a known academic a hundred years ago. His children became American, and were not Danes anymore, except for the memory of a fatherland long forgotten, but still the roots are there.

This is what it is about. A shared memory, and a shared history. Because my great, great grandfathers brother he had his roots here. In Denmark, and that reflects on the culture of the US today, as it is a memory in Denmark still, loosing so many sons and daughters in a time of scarcity.

In these internet times, things seem to go the other way again. The great Democratic party seems to have had a path to the source of their own shared history with the Danes, and my G-d is that a healing thing!

To feel the connection to what you are, the culture that, in many ways, spawned your own.

We are friends, more than just friends, we are family, and as family we stick together.

This shared destiny, is, I hope, deeper than just flags hanging on poles, or empty promises, it is a shared path. A path we trod down on together.

We are not perfect, often we do things wrong, but we have values, and we have a shared destiny, for now, and in the bright future.

G-d bless the great nation of the United States of America.

Faith

There was a time when we philosophers did our best to kill G-d. Remember? When Nietzsche told the story about the man that came down from the mountains and told some people that he met, that G-d is dead. Have´nt you heard?

These days it is the other way around, we try our best, we strive, we sacrifise ourselves to make G-d alive again. To prove his existence, to give him a platform, to make people believe again.

Have´nt you heard? G-d is alive. Read it on this blog, and rejoice in the fact, that you are not alone, spirit will carry you to your final destination, and after that he will carry you in his arms to a place of joy.

Then why? Why is it, that we do this? As our civilization is threatened, some will ignore it, but there are a few people, that will stand their ground. People who have not given up, who still stand by their culture and will fight and sacrifise themselves. They are the last of the last, the fine line between obliteration and renewal.

We do it, because if we do not believe in our culture and our values, then we are finished.

That is what it is basically all about; faith. Faith in our values, in our system, in our religions, in our G-ds.

And it will be by the measure of the strenght of that faith, that we will be either doomed or saved.

G-d bless the wisdom of Socrates and Jesus Christ, the redeemers. (Said as a Jew)

American business

There has been a renewed discussion of the economic skills of the great Us of A. Well there is no discussion that the skills are there, the discussion is just; how does that translate into jobs?

First of all, the Republicans, and most of the Democrats does not really seem to understand the underlying philosophical discussion under what we today have come to term “Obamanomics”.

Remember the last election fight, when mr. Romney was deemed “outsourcer in chief”? Before that election campaign, no-one had discussed the outsourcing as a problem, because there were no theoretical basis to do that from. We made that, Obama and I, and that saved not only the American economy, but also the British, because mr. Cameron got the tools as well, and has made a resurgence of the british economy too.

What is it, that made this possible.

It is, as then stated, a discussion on the two books of Adam Smith. Smith developed the free trade ideas, that drove most of the expansion of British empire. In its core, it argues, that free trade will enhance the overall production and consequently wealth for all who are in the free trade zone.

This is off cause true, and no-one doubts it. We saw it in the crisis of the thirties where trade barriers were put up, here the overall production simply fell, and the wealth and jobs fell away as well.

Then a war came, and that motivated the production again.

But there is another book of Adam Smith, that I have pointed too, that misses its application. Coming from a philosophical world, I know that freedom always goes hand in hand with responsibility. If you have no responsibility to anything, then the freedom you have will make you weightless and disconnected. It is the freedom from something that gives the feeling of freedom.

So, usually there is a kind of trade off or balance in the equation between freedom and ethics.

Being a philosopher, Adam Smith off cause knew the same, so I looked for the ethical part of his philosophy, and found it in his works on moral sentiment.

Smith really was a brilliant philosopher, and he had the balance in his philosophy, we just did not understand it well enough to really implement it. This is our current problem.

So what does Smith say about ethics? He says that the moral sentiment must be attached to the nation to work. In other words, while there is free trade among the nations, there should be a loyalty between those who produce goods and the nation. This is the key, and that is the current problem. When American manufacturers moves production to China, the US looses wealth.

It is not good for China either, because if the system is ruined, then there will be no-one for them to sell their goods too. So it is in all nations interest to keep a sound an loyal production base. In fact, it is a vital a part of the Smithsonian equation as free trade.

So this is the key, and unfortunately it has only worked to some degree, and not all the way through. It needs to be reinforced, with good measure off cause.

Businesses should feel appreciated, there should tax reduction for those business that keep their production in the US, and so on. Use your imagination and it is quite simple to make it happen.

A stronger focus on patriotism overall would also help, be a bit more patriotic, let the flag unfurl again and be happy with your great nation, because in all fairness, you should, because it is so great.

G-d bless United States of America.

Strategy

There has been a lot of discussion about the aim and the purpose of the foreign policy of the Obama administration. Mr. Trump says, at one hand, that it is absolutely without aim, at the other hand the EU administration has just admitted that the policies are much deeper and better than their own!

Well, one cannot be true without the other.

I am not the only one Mr. Obama listens to, there are others, so it is not only my advice that has been heeded. But in the Arab spring Obama and I were pretty much inseparable, and the idea behind the fight against IS were strategic considerations that we both agreed on.

Many people see Obama as against Israel, this is absolutely and totally wrong, he just believes in the same values as the liberal camp in Israel. He wants peace, and to his credit you must be open to the fact, that Obama has never really engaged in the fights between the Gazans and Israel, giving Israel a wide berth here. If he had supported the Palestinians more, the last intifada (that with the bombs) would have been devastating.

He has held on to the idea, that the peace process should be met at the source. This was the entire idea behind making peace with Iran.

If you zoom out a bit, you will find the basic fight that we are in right now; the reclaiming of Western values.

What is so terrible about IS? It is the fact that they hate democracy, and love the caliphate. So the fight against them is much more than just a fight against terror, it is at the same time, a fight for our own values.

And this is what it basically all about; the reclaiming of our own values.

In a world where western interest are threatened and we are loosing ground, we should both put up an ideological as well as a physical defence.

That is crux of the strategies that I have made, and that has influenced Barack a lot; the rise of the West again.

So we have defined the enemy; the Islamic State, and has put together a wide alliance behind it. It has been so strong, that the problems we have had with Russia, that could have developed into a third world war, was eased out by the fact, that we are kin, and we are fighting for the same basic ideas.

The world according to Samuel Huntington is a world where civilisations fight, and we have sought to strengthen our own civilisation, and we have failed in some areas, but also won a lot. Egypt is now a democracy, we have brought momentary peace to Israel, we have changed the mindset of the Europeans, we have forged a friendship with Russia that was extremely important in the wake of the last crisis.

All in all, we are poised for a comeback as a civilisation, if the next president knows how to play his cards wisely.

Not to mention that we have done all this while saving money and making jobs.

G-d bless the United States of America.

Israel

To develop the world, the world needs to have peace. Otherwise most of the ressources and the ability to invest in the betterment of humanity is forfeit.

It is like a lake, if there is war, the ressources are sucked up, the dams breached will take away water. If there is peace, the dams will hold, and the lake will swell, full of water.

So plugging the holes of the dam, will give prosperity. In this way, peace and prosperity are two sides of the same coin.

Now, that may be simple, but the actual peace making is extremely difficult. It all comes down to inspiring the world to do good. Usually enemies portray their enemies as evil. This is wrong, enemies are not inherently evil, they are just in disagreement of how things should be run.

We in the West believe that freedom, democracy and humanism are good things. There are other that have competing systems. That is the way it is with human beings. We all believe our model is the best.

So peace comes from looking at the systems at hand, and find the good elements in them.

Like democracy. There are good and bad things about democracy, so we need to inspire people to do the good things. If the bureaucracy starts corrupting and hiding things, making things intransperent, then we are dealing with the bad elements of democracy. If you have the freedom to act, you need a high ethical standard.

We have to remember this, when we search for peace in the Middle East. There are a number of competing systems there, and we need to align the good virtues of each system towards each other to create a positive flow.

This is difficult, and will require both patience and persistence two work. There are no easy fixes.

We have come far, by focusing on the sources of the conflict between Israel and “Palestine”. Making peace with Egypt and the rest of the Sunni Arab countries. (Egypt is originally not Arab, but Egyptian, but they are allied).

We can do the same with Iran, I know people are against it. But so far, we have not had any atomic bombs over Tel Aviv. We should not be stupid, but if there is an opportunity for peace, we should take it.

This is how Israel should act; as a peace maker.

G-d bless Israel.

The United States of America

April 29th, 2016 No comments

I think that the US must be the most reluctant empiremaker ever. I mean, it is as though the different candidates in the election almost fight over how to NOT be an empire. This is truly the greatest strenght of the US. The clean ethical view on power. Power is not to opress, but to be used for good. I think this is also the part of the weakness, because recently we have seen a few instances of disengagements, where engagement would have been better. Especially in Libya, we should have gone in there and helped rebuild the country. That was a mistake in my mind.

But, the strenght of the fact, that the US does not wish to impose its agenda on everybody, but is happy with the fact, that it can provide some progress and momentum for its own citizens is, to my mind a great boon to the world. It was what, at the end of the day, that stopped the Ukraine crisis from developing into a third world war. Off cause, mr. Putin never wanted the war either, so there were two parts not to really want war.

If you compare this to almost any other emperical power in history, it is truly unique. Just look at how the Chinese treats Africa. It is with contempt, the US has never treated Africa with contempt.

I know that there has been some bad blood in South America, but apart from that, the US has its hands, more or less clean.

I hope, that it continues in this way, that foreign involment has an ideological or protective motive, not a tyrannical motive.

G-d bless The United States of America.

Anglican Church

April 25th, 2016 No comments

sons-of-light-588x441If you want to fight, you have to be prepared to get hit from time to time, that is the way with fighting.

This is especially true with the renaissance of the Anglican church. You get a new message from here, another hit from there, but as when you do a pilgrimage, the difficulties of the walk should never stop you, but make you keep going.

At the end of the day, it is a matter of faith, you are always tried by fortitude, by evil, by all kinds of difficulties.

Yet, as a new mountain appears as a mirage at the end of the road, you just need to pray, get up and find a way over, beneath or around that mountain. There will another mountain to climb when you have climbed the mountain in front of you, but that is the way with work for spirit. It is a never-ending, continuous striving for at better world, and the strange thing is, you never find the end. It is just a road you have to travel.

Sometimes you meet someone on your pilgrimage, and you gather your wits and start a conversation with that person. This is your boons and your nourishment, to find companions along the road.

Sometimes, no, always in my experience, the companions you find on your road, will be there with you all along, and as you travel father and father, the torrent of people you meet on your way will swell.

If you are truly a good person, the persons that will accompany you will be fellows in that same spirit.

So there will be downfalls, and dark days, but do not falter in you belief, because spirit will always be there to support you, and help you find your way. Because that is what G-d is; a helper, a friend and a crutch when you need it.

Praised be Amun.

Europe

April 23rd, 2016 No comments

It is difficult for Europe to hedge its bets in this time of destruction and insecurity.

Germany has, lastly caught up with the new trends of Europe, and has had its very own islamic-critic party. The Afd. well, I do not do mudfests, and I refuse to start throwing ridicules and be the one pointing fingers. As Christians may remember, a lot of people pointed fingers at Jesus, and as Jews remember people did not like Moses much, let alone Mohammad.

This is the way it is, if things Change, people do not like it.

I understand, that the problems that confronts Germany are very difficult, especially considering the influx of migrants and refugees, that creates a lot of problems in Germany right now.

Ms. Merkel is trying to balance the scales in a situation where Germany has to cope with its history as murdering a lot of Jews, and at the same time making sure that the security of the land is working.

Right now, the dilemma seems to tear Germany apart.

There is a short term solution, and a long term solution.

First of all, take it easy. Do not panic, look at the situation, plan ahead and be careful not to lose the initiative.

Germany has the problem, that it is too strong lying there in the middle of Europe. So the minor states and other stronger states around it are vary about its course.

But, look at the way the world has changed these last ten to twenty years. Before the internet revolution, we had absolutely no idea about the ideas and history of the Middle East, even though it lies a mere stonethrow away! Imagine that. We were still, mentally, living in a time where the only transportation was boat and slow moving vehicles.

The US has been good at understanding the new reality, and is acting accordingly. But Europe, mired in its self-pity and inaction, simply has just done….nothing.

What we need to do now, is catch up. Look at our options and act accordingly.

We are not the rulers of the world anymore, that is over, and that is ok. We are living in a multipolar world. Where there are several powers. There is China, the Brics countries, India, Russia, the Middle East and so on. We need to get used to the new situation, and plan from there.

There is no shame in admitting that we are not the rulers of the world anymore, that is just the way it is. And honestly, would we like to be the rulers of the world again? No, why should we? We can be contempt in trying to develop our own world, and strengthening our own ways of doing things. To contribute to a peaceful and humanistic earth.

But in order to do that, we need to get out of that post colonial hangover, and start using our own strengths to our advantage. What are they?

First of all, it is a world class intellectual world. We have the best thinkers, period.

This asset is an asset that, potentially, can bring us back on the world stage as leaders in political, metaphysical and peace bringing theory.

Note that this strength is not a offensive strength, but rather a strength that will give us friends and not enemies.

This is also the strength that will save us in the current situation, the solutions we can find, can solve the problems, without us getting into conflict with the human rights and so on.

So we need to take a fresh look on the situation, define the positive aims we want to have. What is it we want to contribute with? How can we help our neighbours? How can we contribute solving some of the problems of the world?

At the same time, we need to solve the problems we face right now with migration.

As I have said, let us do within the limits of the Human Rights charter, and do it progressively. We should act, but with respect to our allies, our friends around the world, and most importantly, to protect our citizens. This being the main task.

G-d bless the light we must follow, and the peace we can contribute making.

Israel

April 21st, 2016 No comments

I have, together with Obama, had a tremendous succes in the Middle East. The tactic; to focus on the sources of the conflict between Israel and the rest of the Middle East instead of focusing on the proxies; the Palestinians or whatever they are called, has really pulled of.

As of now Israel is hedging its bets with both Saudi Arabia and Egypt. If mr. Netanyahu had been a bit more trusting on Iran, we could have come somewhere with them as well.

I understand, animosity and so on. But we are the Chosen people, and we should not act as local power players, but rather as a moral player, as we are, right?

Now mr. Netanyahu and I are not always on the same page, but I love that man anyway, and do really respect his judgement.

But, be as it may, what is really the process behind these success?

First of all, I am not so self-indulgent, that I believe that is either my doing or Baracks for that matter. We are just tools in a process. Perhaps we are tools of spirit, but perhaps we are just there as a part of a development. The expression of a culture that evolves around certain principles.

Now, what I have been thinking about in the process, is, why really? What is it in the process, that gives us the ability to make peace where no-one else have succeeded?

I believe it is because as Zionist there is a piece that is missing. When Israel was originally founded by Herzl, it was a historic and democratic union of Jews. The state of the Jews, all Jews, and rested on a republican basis. There where some Cabalists that secretly tried to see Israel as a vehicle for peace, we still do. But this was only as private individuals.

The central western democratic blueprint Israel was formed on lacked something that was in existence in Denmark. Denmark is very, very similar to Israel in its construction, but we have one thing that differs; we are based on a historic understanding of the Danish Folk. The Danish people. The great Grundtvig being the master behind this construction. This has given us a historic awareness, and a cohesive disposition towards our neighbours. Instead of representing a state, we represent the Danish People.

Being the Chosen people as Jews, meeting our neighbours as what we are, instead of just a system, makes things much more down to earth, and also makes our neighbours feel they know us more. They know us as a people, not as a state, and if we behave like a people, and respect our neighbours as other peoples, things seem to fall in the right holes.

The Middle East is a very, very proud place. It is the cradle of human civilisation, and every people there remembers, with pride their contribution, even though the rest of the world has forgotten.

If we remember our own history, that is interwoven with our neighbours, we have common ground, and common projects to work with.

And as the Chosen people, there is one mission that will elevate us to where we should be, and that is the fight for G-d. That he may live again. If we do that, we will be friends with our neighbours.

G-d bless Israel.

Business and politics

April 20th, 2016 No comments

67801442Now there seems to be a bit of fashion in businessmen going into politics. We have mr. Naftali Bennet in Israel, and mr. Donald Trump in the US.

Both people most do not like much (mr. Bennet, as a Jew is not liked in the world, though we Jews off cause like him), and mr. Trump is getting a little more popular, but still has a long way to go to be accepted.

Now, this is not to help in the American election, it struck me because as a Zionist I read about the generation of Israelies, that boomed in the dot com time, and is trying to cope with the hard wrenched IT world, and politics.

I have a similar background, I started as a project leader in IT, and shifted after some years to politics and philosophy.

So perhaps my experience can be of a little use.

The reason why I quit the IT business, was because of a moral drive. In IT there is a lot of corruption and a lot of easy money made. After some years learning the ins and outs of that business, I quit it because in a world, you need to stay moral. You need to stay a moral person.

After that I became a teacher and then a philosopher.

That is really the link, as I see it, from business to politics. You need to have a mission, a moral mission. I know that people often despise politicians for being driven by the system. That is true, there are a lot of politicians that are more bureaucrats than politicians. But the good politicians are there to change the world to something better.

It may sound quite silly and obvious, but the truth of the matter is, that as you are grinded down in the political machine, you often lose the ideas as to why you started out. Why you began in the first place. Because you need money and you start doing deals to get something done.

That is natural, but as power corrupts, politics corrupts too. What you therefor need, according to the Romans, is a solid character. Something stoically indestructible. Some higher aspirations. It can be the quest for freedom, solidarity, justice or brotherhood of man. But you need to cling on to those values and virtues.

This is not to be condescending. I do not judge anyone. Just as a afterthought to the mechanics of politics in relation to business.

In business what you need is a fierce will, fighting skills and the ability to understand and analyse markets, competitors and the general layout of the world.

This you also need in politics. But you need something more, you need knowledge of two things; political philosophy and history. The first to get deep into the whereabouts of virtues, the second to avoid doing the same mistakes as leaders before you.

If you want to be smart, you need knowledge. Because you can only know your steps forward, if you know the general layout of the market, and in politics, politics is the market.

G-d bless the wisdom of the Romans.

Europe

April 18th, 2016 No comments

Getting back on the world scene, will be a little taxing for Europe.

We have been sailing around in our own misery after the second world war, and a lot of self-pity put in as well.

It is time we suit up, get realistic about the challenges we meet, and start investing our ressources in security. Both domestic as well as international.

First of all, we need to clean up our own systems. Eastern Europe has already done this after the fall of the iron curtain, but in Western Europe, there are still numerous (ageing) KGB personnel sitting in vital positions in the state apparatus, including media, education, and culture. These traitors are now helping the islamists setting up shop.

So it is really a two pronged war that we need to face. First take all the ancient KGB agents, and the islamists.

After that we will see what is really left of the states.

But, if we succeed, and in some areas we will, then it is on to the next step, and that is playing a role in the international powerplay.

We have the ressources, but we have, mired in our own self loathing, not done anything about it.

But, first of all. Playing with Turkey, puts us on the wrong side of the conflicts in the Middle East. Turkey is one of the main sponsors of IS, and is in real trouble with the other Sunni powers, that is Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Add to this an animosity with Russia, we simply cannot put all our eggs in that basket.

I know we have bought som reprive from the refugee pressure by dealing with Turkey, but it comes at a steep price, and the refugees/migrants will just find new routes. Right now they are going through Libya instead.

We need to strengthen our borders, and start making deals with the countries they come from, so that economic migrants can be send back to their original countries, and we can put up some serious help for the true refugees.

So, invest in security, start cleaning up our states for moles, agents, and other enemies of the state. Put up borders, and start making some real deals with; Eritrea, Pakistan, Afghanistan and so on.

Probably they are unwilling, but we need to find a way. We need to move, as of now.

G-d bless the vision of peace we have to find.

The truth

April 13th, 2016 No comments

When we fight for G-d, we must remember what G-d really is; he is love. When the result of our struggle is less love in-between the living things of mother earth, then we do not fight for G-d. It is only when the result of our actions are love, that we do good.

But then again, this is not easy, because what often seem crystal clear in its moral content, are, more often than not, the exact opposite.

Plato describes, in his famous cave allegory, the workings of truth. In the cave there are many people who pretend to shine truth, but do not. The truth is often very difficult to project to people, and most often people do not like the truth of the matter.

Redemption however lies in accepting and working for truth, even though it will cost you. This is true martyrdom; to spread truth where truth is not found, and do this in the interest of spirit.

In Europe right now, there is very little truth in anything, because we have had a long period of stale peace. The peace of the cold war came at the cost of the truth. What was paraded as truth was only lies and deception.

So to wheel the European discourse back to truth is extremely difficult, we have forty years of lies to counter.

Add to this the problem, that the European Union is almost falling, we have a situation that will most probably lead to some really nasty scenarios. The infighting between the citizens and noncitizen may just evolve into an all out civilwar. The vikings are arming themselves, and the migrants have absolutely no idea what they are facing. This could turn very very ugly.

Therefor, the political system must go on a cold turkey. That is stop the illusions of peace and tolerance with no controlling of the conflict. There has to be control, and it has to be on the right moral basis. That is of Democracy and human rights.

As long as the vikings do fight within the bounds of the state, we cannot touch them. At the same time, it is high time we face the fact that we are infiltrated from top to bottom, and do something about it.

We need also to support the liberal and emancipating strands within the migrant community. Women who are trying to liberate themselves, courageous freedom fighters and other people who wish the support the liberal cause.

It is just like Libya, there are many democratic forces within the muslim community. But we need to support them, wholeheartedly for them to thrive. And we need to fight the islamists wholeheartedly as well.

This is, unfortunately, the consequence of being unvigilant for a long time. We need to wheel in the conflicts that has been laying dormant, and solve them.

G-d bless the peace we are fighting for.

In the memory of Aleksandr Prokhorenko

April 11th, 2016 No comments

56fbea79c461882f7d8b45a3While we in the West are so busy pointing fingers on mr. Putin, I believe that we are overlooking some of the amazing things this great country is doing. I know, that we are in a conflict with Russia in Ukraine, but I also think, that we have not understood the true restraint that mr. Putin has showed. He could have bulldozed his way in, instead he has sought to support covertly. This in an area where Russian interest are very much on the line.

While we focus on Ukraine, we do not see some of the astounding successes he has made in Syria, the liberation of Palmyra, the relief of Assad, that is a long life supporter of Iran, but is a democratically turned westerner in many ways.

What really gets me, is when we do not recognise the true heroism of Russian men at arms. As when Aleksandr Prokhorenko called in air support, ON HIMSELF! That must have taken some real guts. Instead of getting caught, he wheeled in an attack that not only got himself killed but a lot of the enemies as well.

We owe it to the Russians, that they are fighting good in this scenario.

I believe we have a common enemy in the islamists, that we should continue fighting.

And a way of that, is to recognise their true heroes.

G-d bless serviceman Aleksandr Prokhorenko, may he rest in peace, and may his sacrifice not be forgotten.
