Well, I have just seen the victory speech of mr. Trump. Let me clear about this, we need healing. I absolutely agree. We need to come together, work together, and get things done.
I admit, that I have supported ms. Clinton most of the time, and I am really sorry, that you did not succeed. We all fought a lot to get you elected, but we live in a democracy, that is how it works.
Together with Obama, I have laid a great many of the strategic lines of the last six years, so mr. Trump inherits some fights, and some good things as well. Like an economy that is thriving, despite a fierce and unfair competition from China. A fight against Islamic State that is moving into Europe, and a relationship to mr. Putin.
I have been quite clear about my belief in the relationship to mr. Putin, I like him, and I believe he is a good guy. I truly hope you two will get along. Maybe it will really lead to peace, and there is no doubt, with the rising problems with China. That would be good.
Anyway, let us all give mr. Trump the benefit of the doubt, and help him as much as we can. It is more than our own feelings of defeat that is at stake, it is truly the will of the people, and the demise of Western power.
In fact, I agree with mr. Trump on most issues, I just hope we can get along, and find solutions that will keep the system working as a true Republic, because that is my responsibility, as a guardian of Democracy, to see it through, and keep it working.
G-d bless you all, and I am sorry Hillary, you fought good, but things were just not flowing your way.
Well no one saw that coming. Everybody from the elite was backing Hillary Clinton, and yet she was defeated.
First of all, congratulations mr. Trump. I hope everything will shape up all right, but I do fear what is about to happen.
From Denmark, most of my friends actually supported you, but I did not, because I believe it will weaken the system itself.
However, after all, a vote is a vote, and I hope that it will end up positively.
What happened really? It was a vote for independence of viking voters. We are sick and tired of all the “tolerance” speaks, and wish to empower dominance.
The vikings have been used to rule the world for thousands of years, and are not willing to concede just because the elite think it is a good idea.
That is the bottom line. This also, effectively, means, that multiculturalism is over. The viking part, who still is most populous in many areas of the world has voted no.
How will this have an impact? Well if you see it as a “white” push back to African Americans, Muslims in general and so on. New fronts will open up. That is war.
Mr. Trump may not be the one to wield the instruments of war, but the voters want it done, so if not Trump will do it, they will find someone else. The drums of war are sounding.
This is, in a sense, good news for Europe, because we are facing the same threats, just a little more prescient. The migration into Europe, is now out of control, and the vikings are at a warpath.
War is terrible, but it is also just how human nature works.
Odin, war father is at play.
G-d bless the United States of America, and may we win some kind of peace at the end of this major war we are entering.
There is just one day to the election, and that is close. We are finishing an election that is extremely dangerous not only the US, but for the entire world. If US falls as a beacon for Democracy and human rights, the lid has fallen off, and a lot of very nasty ideologies will pop up. Not only in the US, but everywhere in the world. Leading by example has one good thing in it; it is free. Leading by force is costly in all areas imaginable.
Therefor, we need to realise one thing. Whoever wins the election needs to address the charges the rebellic electorate is posing. Not only what they are saying, but also the deeper structures of the problems, which is really where the problems start in the beginning.
What is the problem? The problem is a distance between the needs of the people and the leaders. We, often end up in our own little ivory tower, and the theories we make are not really connected to the challenges people feel.
An example; we carry on discussing the gender inequality, while people can’t make a living. I mean, what is really important, that you can eat, or you have equality between the genders?
The first is important. It is a bit like Marie Antionette saying; why don’t they eat cakes when they can’t eat bread?
Therefor what we need to do, after the election, is start listening. Not just a little, but truly listen to what the electorate, and then find solutions that meet their demands. We need to meet them with a clean slate. Shed all the discussions we know, and try and understand what they are saying. We should stop putting their claims into prejudiced casts, and just find a solution to their trouble, based on a sound democratic/humanistic base.
Otherwise we end up in a revolution, and after the revolution they will say; they asked us to eat cakes when we had no bread.
G-d bless the Democratic Constitution of the United States of America.
Now my good friend mr. Barrack Obama is right on one point. This election is truly a test of American Democracy. Will it fall? It might just fall, if mr. Trump is elected and he really does all the things he threatens to do. Here I am not talking about the wall and so on, but on all the things he will do with the system itself.
It is, I am sorry Donald, I know you do not see it that way, but you are a reflection of the problems American democracy is in. But it is a problem, that the electorate is so desperate it will elect a man that threatens to tear the whole thing down.
This is why I think it is of vital importance that we in the Democratic camp really understand what the rebel voices are saying, and meet them halfway, get over the crisis that the American democracy is in.
We can only do it, if we solve some of the problems they are facing. Like unemployment, national self-assurance, migration and so on.
We should be quite clear about the challenges we meet. If we do not meet the desperate Republican voters halfway, they will tear the entire union apart. It is like that.
So, this is really one of those desperate times, but fortunately, we know what is at stake, and we can do a turn around. Be proud of what American Democracy is, and be humane.
We can do it, it is one of those trying times, but if we are able to get over this crisis, the foundation will be that much stronger.
We need to hear what they are saying, and meet them halfway, after the election.
G-d bless the American Democratic Constitution.
Now, Hillary, you need to get out of your comfort zone and fight for something you believe in. That is really what is missing in this election; you!
We need to see you shedding those teacher glasses and start fighting for something you really believe in, NOW!
I understand, that this is a audacious demand, but we need you to step up, shed all your thinking, and just fight.
Fight for what you believe in, what you see as important.
One thing that I would recommend, is the fight against IS.
We got a hit by FBI, they may have done intentionally, maybe not. But they did it. What they did, was sowing doubt on our ability to fight the islamist. By pointing to Huma Abedin.
We need to turn that around, and tell everybody, that this is a fight between an evil empire, against our democratic ways.
This is a fight between good and evil, and we will prevail.
You need to step that message up, to counter the hit we got from the FBI.
Please Hillary, there is so little time left, and we need to make an impression. It is yours to make.
G-d bless you, and may you find the will to fight for what you believe in.
What is it really to be honest? I have a lot of flaws, but I truly believe, that dishonesty is not one of them. After the Mohammad Cartoon crisis, where freedom of speech was discussed, we did really in Denmark discuss honesty a lot. Because honesty is the basis for freedom of speech.
It works like this; to hide something, you use lies. But if you have nothing to hide, you do not need lies.
So people judge you by your candour. If you are honest, you have less to hide.
Nobody likes anybody who lies, but they will almost always forgive a truthsayer. Off cause, there are somethings that are too bad to be forgiven for. But mostly the dishonesty you have, is human nature.
But it is a very good thing to always try to be honest, because it pushes you to be at better person.
When you do something, that other people find dishonest, you, most of the time, have a good reason. So if someone criticises you, be honest about your reasons to do as you did.
Then you can actually discuss the moral content of your actions. Some find it right, others dislike it.
Nobody is perfect however, we are all sinners to some degree. But most of us try to make something better out of what have of life.
So, to be really honest, you have to be strong and face the criticism of other people. But the funny thing is often, that if you are honest, people usually forgive you for your mistakes, because they know that you have faced what you have done wrong, and will try to be better at another time.
Not being honest, is much worse, because then people start digging in the problems you have, and seek for mistakes.
G-d bless the will and ability to be honest.
Ok, there is one week to go. This is devastating in some areas, and pretty cool in other. I do believe, that both candidates have had their share of scandal, and nobody can say that it is rigged. Mr. Trump got his fair share, and ms. Clinton got hers.
So, we are even.
What I do believe is important, is that what we need to do, is to come clean. We have to be honest in this election, and in general.
I know that the easiest thing to be done is to cheat, but, you know, in politics cheating is like peeing in your pants. It warms at the moment, but after some time it gets colder.
Nevertheless, still, things are not as bad as they seem.
On a political level, actually both candidates are pretty much in agreement on what is important; beating IS, working with the economy.
But there are of cause things that are different, mainly in what parts of the constituency are important, of cause.
I believe, we have had a dirty campaign, but I do not believe it is as dirty as some think. I still believe both candidates have brought a lot to the table, and we will see what will be the outcome after the election.
One thing is sure however, we need to reach out after the election, whoever wins, we need a Netanyahu like capacity for someone who understand both right and left. I think that is really where the good course lies.
G-d bless the United States of America.
The case that the FBI is throwing against ms. Hillary Clinton involves ms. Huma Abedin. Who is she? She is, obviously a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, since she is family with some of the top dogs of that organisation, and she is an agent.
How do I conclude this? Because I have been living, as many other people who are influential, with agents close to my life for many, many years, so I have a lot of experience with this.
It works like this; a person, that reflects your own interests and person shows up, and is willing to do almost anything to please you. He or she will become your friend, and help you beyond what is natural. You are not required to care much about your own actions towards this person. They are always there.
The problem is, it is fake. She or he does not exist because they like you, but to influence you in some way. One of my other friends had an agent in his life. This agent kept taking him to pubs to make him drink more and more. Basically he was not my friends friend, but used his friendship to wear my friend down.
Abedin seems to be the same, she goes to lengths normally not attributed to a muslim woman, like marrying Anthony Weiner, even though he is not a paragon of virtue.
The deeper story of this, is, of course, that she represents the Muslim Brotherhood. On this issue Barack and I have disagreed to some degree. Originally he supported Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt, and, I supported Al-Sisi. I supported Al-Sisi, because the Muslim Brotherhood is a problematic organization spreading islamism around the globe.
After the Egyptian revolution, the Sunnis have worked themselves closer to Israel, and agree on not liking IS. Especially Egypt. So we have made more unity amongst our allies in the Middle East. Even Turkey now agrees on this.
As time has gone by, the Muslim Brotherhood has lost its sway, and is mostly now confined to London, where is lives a poor life. That is, it is no longer a major player.
This is reflected in the tragedy of ms. Abedin, that was divorced to Weiner. (Who wouldn’t)
So the value of Abedin as an ally, is naught. She is not a friend, she is, most probably, just an agent of a small organisation.
The problem is. She is a symbol of corruption. FBI are scared about this, and so they act. They do not act with an all embracing fanfare, but they are putting up a flag.
So, instead of attacking FBI, they are basically just doing their job, we should acknowledge their flagging, and just put up some barriers between Abedin and the inner circle of the friends of Clinton.
Good luck, but you need to act fast, we are losing steam on this issue, at at critical point of our contest drive.
G-d bless the will to get honest about our problems.
Ok let us be cool about the FBI accusations. Let us have a sound and serious look upon the problem. First of all; no ACTUAL accusation has been forwarded, just some airy negative comments. That is all.
The true problem is not the accusations, it is the target of the accusations; Huma Abedin and her former husband Weiner. Bad apples both of them. Weiner because he is VERY negative in his ways with women; Trump like actually. Abedin because everybody knows that she is a meme of the Muslim Brotherhood.
These two persons are not sufficiently ethically based to be a part of the Democratic presidential run.
Why? Because we have run on an ethical basis against Trump. We fight for womens rights, and against the Islamic State.
This leaves no room for a child adulterer as Weiner, and a Muslim Brotherhood agent as Abedin.
So, if we defend ourselves, we, at the same time, defend some undefendable individuals.
We need to let them go, and the fuss will all be over. And it needs to be done fast, because we are very close to the election day.
We are also required to learn from it. There is no room for failure in our government. We have to do as we say. We simply cannot attack Trump for a sexually denigrating perspective and then, at the same time, defend people who do the same in our own camp.
I am sorry, but as the election has developed, it has, for good and worse, been more and more ethical.
We need to realise this and evolve ourselves.
G-d bless the willingness to understand our own mistakes, and be sorry when we do them.
Ok, I must write about something else than the American election. It is off cause of a vital importance, but there are other things as well.
Like the discussion on G-d. I am reading about the great physician Niels Bohr, another Dane. He was one of those few people who were pushing human knowledge on.
I have been discussing the relationship between spirit and physics, arguing, that G-d is as Anaxagoras says; a natural power that is in between matter, in the ether, so to say. Birth is the gateway between this dimension of the ether, and the material world.
This discussion is, in its essence spiritual and physical, that is metaphysical. “Besides the physical” as it is what “meta” means.
I believe that the teological community has done a great disservice in not following the physical discussion. Because the physicians actually disagree in these matters. Some believe, that there is a G-d, like Planck, who realised that energy has a smallest unit, thereby naming the “Planck”s constant.
Instead of trying to fight the physical community, we should just be a part of the discussion. I had an angle on the world famous Niels Bohr institute some years ago, where I met a leading physician there, but due to all the chaos in my life, all the persecution and so on, I could not follow up on this lead. I hope to continue this line of my thought. Because if I can contribute with a scientifically respected line of thought that actually uses the idea of G-d as a proven and well understood idea, we could, potentially be back in the metaphysical community.
That is why, I ask you, all of you who are interested in these ideas, to show support, and help me in my quest. Give me some help, and maybe, I can do this.
G-d bless the will to fight for G-d.
It seems to me, that ms. Clinton is in the lead. Still, we are not here yet, but the signs are good. Anyway, if we win, I think we should discuss, already now, what we should do to foreign policy matters.
First of all, I believe, that the American people are not ready for another full scale war, and if they are, it will not be with the Russians, it will be with the Islamists.
Why? Because the Islamists with their continous terror attacks, not only on American soil, but everywhere in the world, is what is felt as the greatest threat. Some geopolitical analysts will point to the fact that China has a much larger potential for agression, but they have not done anything on American soil yet. The Islamists have, and that is a lot.
There is also a special bonding and history between Europe and the US. Most of American culture comes from Europe, and there is still a very close relationship between the US and Europe, especially Northern Europe. You are our friends and family. That is how we see it.
So when islamists attack France, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, it is felt as an attack on a family member. It IS an attack on a family member.
As the Syrian war is settled, and IS looses its territory, they are going to swarm Europe. At least, that is what they are threatening, and they usually do as they say. We have som calm right now, because they are tied up in Mosul. But after they lose that piece of land, they are free to spread their terror everywhere, especially in Europe. They are not dumb, and they carry the torch of a religious war. So they are hard to turn around.
Anyway, as the confrontation picks up speed in Europe, there will be an increased voice for American intervention in Europe. This is not the first time Americans have been on the shores of Europe, fighting for liberty, and it will, probably, not be the last.
This however, will be a fight with the full consent of the people.
The bad thing is, off cause, that all wars are terrible. Wars should be avoided at all costs, but should be fought vigoursly, if there is nothing else to do.
The good thing about it, is the strategic implications. We are not stirring up another cold war, or getting enemies all around the world. Everybody agrees on taking on the islamists, even sunni muslims, the closest possible allies IS has. So, it will harden the international community around a strategy lead by the US.
G-d bless the US in its wise decisions towards war and peace.
I believe, that, at the end of the day, it is about one thing; passion. What is passion really? Passion is about believing in an idea so much, that you fight for it with a lot of energy.
Thing is, to be passionate about an idea, the idea you fight for, should be a good idea. Otherwise it is a little difficult to believe in it.
There are many good ideas, and then there are many bad ideas. But one thing is for certain. If you want people to fight for a good idea, you need to present them with an idea that is well proven and you know will work. That is why we like the classics, because in the classics we find proven ideas.
In the French revolution we fought a lot for some classical ideas; freedom of speech, justice of the law, enlightenment, human rights, democracy. The thing about these ideas are, that they work. They are time proven, quality ideas worth fighting for, worth the basis of a revolution.
Now I have come up with some ideas, some of them new, some of the classical, but all in a new clothing.
I promise you, that these ideas are, most of them well proven. And those ideas that are not well proven, are already working. Like the idea of focusing on production to boost the economy. It works.
At the end of the day, it is about faith. Faith in those basic ideas of our society that we treasure and love. Faith in the building blocks of society. Faith in the ideas.
Please hold this into your heart; it works. That shining city at the top of hill, is real. Those humanistic, enligthenment ideas, they are real, and they work. The American dream is still a dream attainable. The ideas are sound, all you need, is faith.
G-d bless the United States of America.
It is getting tighter, the television appearances are over, and it is down to the groundwork to work their magic.
This is why, we have to; organise, organise, organise. Work, from day to night, from night to day, work, work, work.
There should be no respite, no taking it easy, we need to do the job!
One thing I believe is pretty positive about this election is the fact that we have seemed to come together. The different arms of the party, and I believe, we should try and keep it that way. Let us build on what we have, and make it even stronger.
Mr. Sanders and the young, ms. Obama and the women, mr. Kerry and the hippies, mr. Biden and the workers, ms. Clinton and the just … well, normal people, right?
Let us come together in a vision of a more equal and free America, and vision where the lame will walk, the poor will not be abandoned and the rich will be satisfied but not handed all the power.
We can do that, and we will, so FORWARD! Let us do that revolution, lead all of us!
G-d bless the United States of America.
We are nearing the end of the election cycles. It seems to be an easy win. But until the end of the election cycle, it is still just a PROBABLE win. We have not won until election day.
When we fought with Barack Obama the last election, it seemed much closer, and yet we won. But in a sense that was good, because then we were fighting to the very end.
Let us learn from that, birds on the roof are not birds in the hand.
LET US FIGHT!
All OF US!
G-d bless the will to fight to the very end.
So, there are only three weeks before election day, and it seems a pretty easy win.
Let us have a look on why. First of all, because we did have a good support from the Liberal wing, this includes all the traditional supporters, a great part of the academia, a great part of the civil rights organizations, a great part of grassroots supporters.
Secondly, it was because mr. Trump had no idea about campaigning. He is good on television, but all the intricacies of voter segmentation, going across the aisle, being strategic, was not really a part of his strategy. As the skeletons started emerging out of the cupboard, he did not have the nerve or the cool to meet it with ease, but started ranting.
I am sorry, I never really disliked Trump all the way, but that is just not a thing to do if you want to be the leader of the free world. You need coolness and strength in your manners.
On the other side, ms. Clinton has really developed herself under the election, and seems to be moving with the tides. She has a new stance on the free market deals, I do believe that free markets are ok, but this was really not the idea of Bernie, so I understand the move, even though I hope it will not ruin our economy too much. And then she started getting back to her roots, I think that is really the most beautiful part of her development. She started thinking about that rural America, where people struggle to get going. That rapport is really what will win her the election. Because this is where the swing voters are. The ancient blue collar Democrats, who are scared by globalization, but still hold on to a worker identity. These voters are the key voters in this election.
Now these people are, at least a lot of them, REALLY angry on how things are progressing, and instead of alienating them. We should try and understand them, and help them. As in Detroit.
Globalization seems to be over, and people are hunkering down in the states they understand and makes sense to them, and we cannot change that. What we can do, is to try and ease that development, so that it does not end in a huge crash. Because they are truly angry, and we need to meet them in order to alleviate some of that pain, be it a right pain or a wrong pain.
We need to stop vilifying them, and start understanding their difficult situation.
G-d bless United States of America
When we get older, we start to forget about the initiation of our lives, we seem to forget what it was all about. I have grown up a poor boy, the first many years of my existence were, honestly, terrible. It gave me a lot of scars and a lot of experience about the bottom of society. But I have, singlehandedly fought my way out of the misery, and as of now, I do actually feel pretty ok. I have a little family, I have a beautiful wife, a place to stay, a job that is not too terrible, and an ongoing artistic career that a care a lot about. But I still worry about the secret police, will they try another blow, what will they do now, and so on.
Kierkegaard, the Danish philosopher, had this way of theorizing. He looked at his own life, and used his own experiences as a guiding light. This is much better than sitting somewhere in an ivory tower and theorizing about things that you know nothing about. It makes me a strange bird in the world of academics, but hey, even the academic life needs outsiders to give them new roads to travel down at. And to me, the greatest philosophers lived their own ideas out.
But what if you get too far away from that dark place you started out from, that river of misery, that train of broken dreams, because you actually get out of the trailer park. What then, how can you do something for those still in it. How can you actually contribute all Americans, Danes, Englishmen, Frenchmen, Germans and so on. You can do it with the Bruce Springsteen method.
I like Bruce Springsteen, and actually, I have thought about where he might have gone in this election cycle, he used to be out there on the trail together with the Democratic contender. Where is he.
Anyway, I will tell you about his method, that I once read about. Now, when he is worldfamous, and miles away from the dump he started out from, he has, sometimes, problems with what to write songs about. But then he goes into himself, and he starts remembering that dark place why he came from, and songs starts coming again. That river of misery.
Now, I know that mr. Trump has made an idiot out of himself, you cannot blame the media for pulling out stories of mistreating women. You should not mistreat women, period. But he had some of that Springsteen blues in him. He did go out and understood the misery of not getting a job, loosing your dreams and seeing everything fall apart around you. He has that blues, and that we can learn from him. Because, yes, he is a bad messenger, but his message is true.
G-d bless the United States of America, and may it rise to shine again.
Ok, it really, really shocks me to hear about all the accusations of rapist behaviour of mr. Trump. They truly seem to be true, and that is the end of that presidential campaign. You simply cannot beat that. Whatever ms. Clinton could have done or not, nothing beats that.
To go into a presidential campaign with that as a possible newsbreak is truly suicidal. The worst scandal in the story of the United States of America.
There is not much to say, other than he did say somethings that were right; like the problems at the border, the problems at the bottom of the industrial rungs.
But that does not excuse this behaviour. As ms. Obama, I am speechless. I thought it was just a hoax, stupid me.
G-d bless the dignity of the United States of America.
There are a lot of signs, that points to the imminent arrival of the Messiah, peace is slowly descending on the Middle East, Israel is thriving, and it seems to me, that there actually is a viable chance that the house of David will indeed be reinstated in the state of Israel.
If we look at the last constitution, that is the constitution of David and Solomon, compared to the constitution we have now, that is a Socialdemocratic, non religious constitution, how would they compare.I mean apart from the fulfilling of the prophesy, there is also a practical organization that has to be done in order for the new king to be a part of the political process.
In practice, how will the Knesset react to having a king all of a sudden.
If we look at other examples, we can see, there are a few to compare to, Denmark, the US, the U.K.
In the US, the president holds the position of the king in a normal monarchy. In Europe, the kings are still hereditary. That is, a single family has been on the throne for a long time, the role of King, or Queen, given from father to son or daughter.
What really is noticeable, is the dignity of the role. A king or queen, is an extremely dignified person, and has a role of loftiness.
The Queen in Denmark rarely talks about much, but when she does, it is with an extreme dignity. She is straight backed, honest, but she still respects the parliament and its decisions.
The current organization of the country, that being a de facto substate under the EU commission, is not her cup of tee, but she refrains from commenting on it, focusing on the wellbeing of the realm.
This role is truly what a new king should fulfill. That of giving dignity to Israel. I believe that mr. Shimon Peres really had a element of this in his ways. He was so dignified, so his example is something we should look onto, to look for a true king.
It should be one that understands the balance between parliament and the signification of the royal institution.
If it actually is realized, it would be an extremely powerful position, giving peace all around the world. It would make the world a better place, and ensure, that we would live in an era of progress.
G-d bless Israel.
Well, it seems to me, that the election is, more or less decided in the favour of ms. Clinton. Ok, there is still some time, and it seems to me, that mr. Trump has invigorated his fanbase. That in itself is really impressive. It would have been difficult to even have a campaign if that had not been the case.
But, listen. This is a very strange election, usually the debates are the high points, but with all the media coverage of the character assassination attempts, the debates seem to matter less and less.
Anyway, as a Dane, to me, I would be happy to work with both persons. You know, I support Hillary, as a true supporter of mr. Barack Obama. But the differences between the two contestants in terms of content, is actually not that wide. Both support a non-racist stance, both are for civil rights, both are against Isis, but not against all Muslims. Mr. Trump even apologised to the muslim hero he had antagonised.
There are differences in the small things. Especially in the stance on second amendment, migration and the relationship to Russia. But all in all, the differences are truly not that wide.
When it comes to leading the country, I do support Hillary, I think, honestly, that she would do the best job. But, I do not worry that mr. Trump would ruin everything. I think he has grown through the election.
So, all in all, i think, for America, things are shaping up. For Hillary and Donald, we will see. But my bet is on Hillary.
G-d bless the United States of America.
It is one day from the most devastating, potentially, turn of events in the world. The second debate in the American election.
As a rare treat in the world of philosophical development, I have had, and has the honor, to participate in that debate.
While as I have been a part of the renewal of politics in the sense of finding the roots of politics. Trying to find the core of what politics really is. This contest is carried by all of what it not is, mud slinging, accusations, debate on moral character rather than political content.
I do believe, that what we need is not a mud fest, but a new direction.
But it seems to me, that that hope is in vain. We have the parties and contestants we have, and they are both flawed to some degree.
But that should not keep us from looking at the world from a sound perspective, and discuss what is not good for us, but how civil service, will be just that, to serve the public.
One true advise I can give ms. Clinton, is a thing she may have overlooked, but then again with the level of preparedness maybe not.
Trump is going to hammer on the alleged infidelity of mr. Clinton. This is just …, but that is an angle. Don’t worry too much about that, he is not exactly the model of good behavior himself, as we have recently come to know.
But there is another flaw or weakness of ms. Clinton, that talks to his strengths in the political discussion, open borders.
That is the opposite of what he is proposing, that is closed borders, and he has the electorate behind him in this area.
So some kind of modern approach to that issue is extremely important. Open borders is true poison for the Clinton campaign. I would recommend a sound and normal understanding of borders. That is, that it encroaches a given territory with a given political system. So that those in the system are, in our case, democratic, and outside, they have other systems.
I know that this goes against the dreams of many people, but this is exactly what scores and scores of voters are against, both in Europe and in the US. If we do not leave that political stance, we end up with a lot of neo nazism, KKK and whatever they are called, and that is simply not a price worth paying.
G-d bless the United States of America.
Well, it was an ok debate yesterday, it was not the prettiest, but it will work.
When we look at the connection to budding Democrats, that tries to learn us about what it is to be young, there is one point we have not truly realized yet, but we need; the fight with Islamic state.
We have ourselves moved quite a bit these late years. Let me give you my own explanation and historical brief.
It happened in the last intifada. Here mr. Netanyahu made a pivotal decision in the middle of the fight. It was all about going in and start truly unleashing the might of the IDF against the budding Palestinian state. In the final ours of that quest, I asked mr. Netanyahu to hold his horses and wait for the world to realize what was happening in Iraq under the guise of the other war. The IS was on the move, taking area after area, finally building the Caliphate.
The world watched in horror and expectation on the unleashing, but it did not come. As a result, Israel is today still in one piece, and the economic and worldwide backlash a pummeling of Hamas would have given Israel was held back. On the contrary the fight was seen as kind of “even” in the eyes of the international audience. Actually a tremendous victory for Israel in itself. Israel reaped the fruits of that victory by the alliance with the Arab world. Quite a feat.
Anyway, let us have a look at “Islamic State” and what it has given us. It has given us a world of pain to all who do not agree to their view. They go after the gays, the minorities, the weak. They rape and pillage. Lately there has been a string of attacks on American soil. Things that are anti Liberal in its very essence.
What they are aiming at is a vast, G-d driven state, where the imams are ruling everything from how to pick your nose to how you take a s… (Sorry) to how to patronize women.
This is what we are truly fighting, a regime that puts Fox network and Breibart as a willy nilly, pink sambadancers.
They are the true tyrants we are facing. Yes there is Wall Street, but these guys beat them by far. Because they defy all that is humane, democratic and just.
G-d bless the will to win.
Things are starting to shape up for us. Mr. Trump seems to have lost his connection to the real world, and we are working on the positive and true image of our campaign. Well done campaigners. And especially well done ms. Clinton, you passed the test with flying colours.
What has really happened?
Well, we are in the middle of another revolution. Mr. Sanders keep telling us this, and maybe he is right?
What is this revolution he keeps talking about, and our young are so idealistic about?
I have thought about it, and there is one thing, that made me realise what it really is; the fact that we have not talked about communism for a long, we have, however talked a lot about another thing that is, or was, also revolutionary in its time; Democracy.
Mr. Sanders, and mr. Obama er truly not communist revolutionaries, they are democratic revolutionaries, and that is a huge difference.
We are not fighting for communism, no we are fighting for the values of the First French revolution. Human rights, enlightenment, the freedom of speech and law.
This is what is the true core of what we are witnessing. And that is bearing the torch to at new generation.
While communism did not stand the test of real life, democracy did. We are in the middle of another of those revolutions. In France they are talking about the sixth republic, we should be talking about democracy 2.0.
Another round of the good, rationalistic, freedom loving men and women, fighting tyranny.
There are a lot of people who despise politics. It is because we have forgotten the virtues of a democratic republic. Forgotten the honesty and enlightenment it craves. We should be thankful that our young daughters and sons reminds us of these values yet again. Because otherwise the system just stops working.
This is why we are winning, we are truly fueled by the revolutionary spirit of the Napoleonic Cisalpine republic.
The right and privilege to be free and the willingness to sacrifice ourselves for that.
G-d bless the United States of America.
When we live up to the expectations of what we are as Jews. There are no closed doors anywhere. When we do not, we are vilified and hated.
That is the way it is. The choosing of us as a people, is not just a blessing, it is, as much, a curse.
We have to be perfect, in almost any possible way, and then they put us on a pedestal.
I think this is why the life and work of mr. Peres is such a telling tale. Everybody hated him for the Oslo accords. But I mean, at least he tried, right. I would not have done it, because there were too many unknowns, and too many players, that did not want the peace. But, he tried, and he won the respect of the world, but the despect of Jews.
I think we have looked on it in a wrong way. What he tried to do, was not make peace, it was the SYMBOLIC act that mattered to him.
He must have known that it could not be done, because the cards were as they were. But he still tried, and doing such a symbolic act, he actually carved out a name for himself, and showed the world, that there is a will for peace.
He was the false Messiah, and for that he was hated and still loved.
When will the true Messiah come, that is the question we all put to ourselves. The king that will truly give meaning to Israel, and realise the existence of Israel. Because, at the end of the day, Israel can only be built by the Messiah.
I know that perhaps I am the Messiah, perhaps it is Barack. To me, that will only be proven, if there is peace.
Until that, we will have to see. But I believe, we should see mr. Peres life as an example on someone who could have been the Messiah, but never really made the last step.
But he showed us a way. That is his true legacy. He showed us, that there are Jews, of a high ranking, that will try peace.
With that, he won the praise of the world, and paved the way for peace. Because he made an example.
In this light, I believe we should see his sacrifice. Because he knew he would have to pay, and he did it anyway. For Israel.
G-d bless mr. Shimon Peres, may he rest in peace.
Ok, there is a bit of momentum right now. Let us use that, put in a few jabs and blows, put him on the defensive.
First of all, we need to understand what truly gave is a lead in the debate. It was not due to good looks or extravagant use of ideas. It was because we gave as we got.
That is the key, and that is truly the difficult thing in this contest. We put mr. Trump on the defensive, and he could not get out of that corner.
That is how we win, be we should be realistic, we caught him on the wrong foot. He was unprepared, he did not see it coming, and he had lulled himself into a belief, that a milder tone would win him the election. In short, he underestimated ms. Clinton.
That will not happen again. We need to put up our defences, and start that gruelling fight with mr. Trump. We should not be overconfident, because one victory will not win us the battle.
So we need to shed the calculator, and start the grim fight. Ok, not too much, not absolutely, but with honour and initiative.
Take the jab mr. Trump does with the discussion on the infidelity of mr. Bill Clinton. This is absolutely grim.
We should be the same. Ask him why he did not deliver his tax papers, is he hiding something.
And then be honest with our defence.
That part of the marriage of the Clintons is totally problematic, but it is a long time ago, and we have found a solution.
Let us go on talking about the things that matter, should we?
Something that matters NOW, like why mr. Trump does not show his tax papers.
It is dirty, but we need to realise, that, to some level, we need to meet mr. Trump in the dirty gutter, otherwise he will just bully himself to the presidency.
G-d bless mr. Trump and ms. Clinton, may it be a relatively fair fight.
It is a bit difficult to be a rebel in ones own country, and then a middle leaning intellectual in international politics.
It gets a little schizophrenic from time to time.
In Denmark I am waiting for a book by the late spy chief Scharff, who did persecute me, and tortured my little daughter. Perhaps his new book will shed some light on the controversies we have had, but I really doubt it.
Internationally I helping ms. Hillary Clinton, and I am working for peace in the Middle East. That is not exactly a rebel standpoint.
But in a sense, I believe that some of the purity of rebelliousness gets to be a part of the mainstream. That is actually good, because all leaders used to be rebels at a given point. That is, we did start out ,to try and change the world to a better place.
But in practise this arrangement is very difficult.
Ok, stop the whining. I am just trying to explain why I have not been more focused on the American election. It just so happened, that my good friend Uwe got attacked by a museum employee, making a work of art.
This was pretty big in the news, and Uwe have a lot of trouble. So I do, as I always try, supported him in his troubled times.
It may seem like a small thing in politics, but he is my friend, and I should be there for him in his trouble.
But, I WILL stay on course internationally. Barack is right in his point, that we need to win with Hillary to continue our work.
G-d bless the United States of America.
It is really difficult when kindred spirits pass away. I have a hard time saying goodbye to someone that I respect so much.
Mr. Shimon Peres passed away yesterday, may he rest in peace.
For me, a relative newcomer to Israeli politics, I feel a bit humbled by the things that mr. Peres took from me. But at the other hand, I can see that we shared a lot of things; the striving for peace, and at the same time the will to keep Israel safe.
This is what Israel is supposed to be; a project of peace. And only when we obtain peace, will the spiritual task of Israel be achieved.
In a way, that task is so daunting, that you have to use all your energy to really achieve it. You have to be focused all the time, be vigilant.
But if you are, you can move things along.
With true tears, I mourn mr. Peres, he was much more than the founding father of Israel. He was Israel, and let us hope, that we can live up to his expectations.
G-d bless the memory of mr. Peres.
To be spiritual, I believe the essence is about being a good person.
The ethical discussion must therefor be at the heart of any person that believes himself to be a Christian, a Muslim or a Jew.
It is like that, right?
But the problem about being a moral person is the fact that the right choice is often very difficult to make. What some believe to be the right choice, others do not.
Take my discussion on Islamic State. In the beginning, this was a thing of taboo. People really thought that I was a bad person. But it came out to be a true, right. Look at what they are doing.
You can look at it from many perspectives; psychology, metaphysics, social sciences. Some people believe we have a innate moral compass, others believe in enlightening the world. But at the end of the day, the truth of the matter is, that being good is one of the most difficult things to be.
One of the things I often see people doing that is a mistake, is many peoples tendency to take the easy road. To do what everybody else do, to blend in. This is the best choice if you want to be socially accepted. But it leaves all the moral consensus to the leader of the group. If he or she is a bad person, the entire commune he is leader of, will be bad as well.
Power corrupts, and a lot of power corrupts a lot. So if you are in an organization with a powerful leader, there is a chance he or she will be corrupted.
It is here the task of the servant of G-d, always to ask himself; what is the moral answer in this case.
Evil is often disguised as good, that is my experience. In fact, the bad people often parade their goodness. Tries to obtain a veneer of being the right and moral person. They cloak themselves in the cloak of goodness. You know the person that always has to be the one that prays the most, or sit, venerably at the head of some local community council to help the poor.
Bad people like to LOOK good.
The real good people you often find at places that is not posh or fine. They are there where they can actually do good, and that is often in the gutter somewhere. Places where things smell, and the air is ripe with sin. There you see them, going about their business, like angels in the filth.
The sad thing is; if a leadership of a country or a congregation, does not realise this. These few angels, that should be ones to lead us, never reach the leadership role they should have. But remain in corners around in the gutters washing peoples feet, taking care of the homeless, sick and poor.
I believe, that one of the things we should start doing, is look for angels, where they are, and ask them to lead us.
Often they would reject our pleading, and go about their business, but often enough they would sacrifice their calling and be an administrator.
If we cannot ask them to lead us, then try and be inspired by those few lights, and do as them.
G-d bless the pursuit for goodness.
I think the discussion last night war absolutely brilliant, it could not have been better. Well done ms. Clinton. Still a long way to go, but on to a good start.
We can still wheel some support in, due to the bomb shock mr. Trumps camp must be in. But it has to be done now.
That is, go out, make your points again at some convention, and start pushing some more.
It is about momentum, try to build on the momentum you get from the discussion.
Well done, ms. Clinton, well done.
G-d bless the willingness to remain humble in the office of the United States.
I believe that mr. Jimmy Carter had some good ideas about what could be the content of this presidential election. Or rather the content of the democratic contented.
1. Civil rights
2. Climate Change
3. Economic justice
These ideas are so strong, that they may very well carry us directly into the oval office.
We still have to counter the threat of islamism. This is a prerequisite for a successful presidentship
But we may have ideas about what we want to do, but we still have to carry the crown juvels into the next four years of presidency.
That is, on one hand, we have to counter the immediate threaths to the US, and next come up with some new ideas, so that people think we have a positive message as well.
G-d bless Hillary Clinton, and good luck in the debate.
The old US of A is tearing up in the seams. What is happening, well is it not obvious if you at it from the eyes of our enemy?
Our enemies are islamists, we fight them i the Middle East, Syria, Iraq, and in Libya and many other places.
This we do, because they are a threat to the liberal order. That is it. The new thing is; they have landed on our shores, and are now fighting, viciously and without any regard to human casualties, spreading terror wherever they are; Orlando, new York, Boston. You name it, you hate it.
This fuels an unconscious fear, also called …. terror.
So in essence, we are fighting the terror here in the US and abroad. But the terror still has hold of us. And instead of us using our tools to target the terror, the angst fuels the racewars.
So what at one point had nothing to do with race, is subtly converted into something else.
What is the cure?
We have to be open and precise about the character of the threat. It is not all muslims, and not all blacks, it is islamists. People who believe in the caliphate and fights for a sharia driven state.
This will, at one hand, give all, without regards to colour a flag to rally around, that is democracy, and at the other hand spare those democracy loving muslims.
So, scream it out, yell it at the top of the roofs, make it clear, fight it, enlighten it, show it, name it, make it bleed.
This is a fight for democracy against at vile creed, an abomination, we need to put it to ground. All, white, yellow, black in defence of out democracy.
Do that and save America for another round.
G-d bless the old US of A.
You know, sometimes, you stop all the grinding and have a little look on what you are, where you come from, and where you might go.
One of those occurrences happened to me just today. It was a silly, small thing, but it kind of struck me anyway.
At prehighschool I was kind of crazy about this beautiful girl. We shared some time together, but it never really kicked off.
Sometime after my prehighschool I had this message from her, where she told me, that she had had a crush on me as well. Kind of tragic. Since then, I have often thought about her, where she might have gone to, what she had done to her life. Did she get married, had kids, and so on.
Stupid thoughts really, but the first love of your life seems to stick.
I just realised what happened to her. She went to a little beautiful island called Bornholm, where she became a professional potter. That was what we had in-between us at that time, we did a lot of pottering together.
You know, if she had, or I had had the courage to ask her that time when we were only fifteen, we would have had a completely other life. A much, much better life. But that is what it is right. You are often pushed to this side or the other by chance.
My point is, you do chose, sometimes where you wanna go, and what to do. Other times you dont.
It has been a bit of a serious relationship Denmark and the US has had over the time, since the Mohammad cartoon crisis, or rather since mr. Fogh was PM of Denmark.
Now we have a shift of presidents of the US. And we can choose to go on with our relationship, or end it.
Like any relationship.
I think my basic point is; when you find something worthwhile, dont lose it. You need to fight to keep the good things in life.
I believe that the friendship between the US and Denmark has been good for both of us. We inspire each other, fight our battles together, have our victories and losses together. Somehow we have grown over the last decade or two.
Let is hold on to that, as long as we can. Because together we are stronger, and the good relationship we have, brings out the best in each of us. That is what friendship is about.
G-d bless the friendship between the US and Denmark.
The American election is tipping around. The reason is, that ms. Clinton is not energetic enough. You have to push your agenda, otherwise someone else will take over.
There is only so much you can do with money, at the end of the day. It is about you, getting up on that podium and start inspiring.
This is a war on energy in a sense. Who has the most to put out there within a frame of civility.
G-d bless the wisdom of beauty.
In a very secular society, all virtue seem to disappear sometimes. There is very little “right or wrong”, there is confusion and the disappearance of traditional values.
Well, I am very traditional in some ways. You know I am a family man, I truly love my wife, and strive everyday to make my little family work.
It has come to the point, where there is a certain balance. In the beginning, it was very difficult, we had no money, and little support. But now after six years, it is getting better. We can pay our bills, there is even a little left after the bills are payed.
Some of the conflicts there were so much in the beginning are not there anymore. Now we do truly support each other, and we can relax. Mind you, this is not perfect, far from. We still have our grievances, as all families have.
But, at the end of the day. It works, we are happy with our little family.
Today, there are many answers to the happiness of life. Go down to any bookstore, and there you will be presented with a myriad of advice; eat healthy, go jogging, make a good career. But what truly matters, that is family and friends, few books are written about.
Why dont we have a good and serious book about how friendship works? Or a good book about the happy family, supported by spirit?
Why dont we, those who are supposed to be the caretakers of family and friendship talk a little more about it?
The gospel of joy.
Why dont we realise, that goodness leads to happiness. If we spread that idea or thought, then we would win over the sceptics and the naysayers. We could say, we could or could not believe in G-d. But there is an idea that we do believe in, and that is that we have to be good and supportive people.
Goodness and care taking, is a moral imperative, we should do that a little more. We should not be naive, and have our goodness be abused, but we should do as much good as we can.
G-d bless the home of families and friends.
It has been 15 years, since those terrorist flew into the Two towers of New York, one of the hall marks of freedom.
It is nice to say, right; freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom from tyranny, freedom from suppression.
It has been a whole bunch of years, fighting one battle after the other, winning some, losing some. But at the end of the day, I believe we have come out stronger. The enemies were not just the islamists, Osama bin Laden and so, also our own corruption and lack of high moral standards when it comes of all the virtues of our society; freedom, justice and equality.
I may not be American myself, but I do know how you feel, how the endless infights of not only our allies, but even our own friends seem to take over from time to time.
At this time of of the year, at this special occasion. I believe we should shed what makes us different, and embrace what makes us alike.
Unite, to the tones of our prophetic anthem; we are the bold and the brave, and so we will remain.
G-d bless the United States of America.
Mr. Zuckerberg asked at Facebook about thoughts concerning Facebook. What is the essence of it really, and how may it develop. This is not a critical essay, but an essay to lay a philosophical idea behind some of the UI development.
Lets have a little tour back memory lane, to where it all started, that is the IT, computer business. It started with Gopher. I remember when I were at university we had this new device that could show a coffee machine somewhere else in the world, we were like; thats amazing! Then we had a computer with a mouse, the idea was again just hilariously ground breaking.
But then again, let us just look a little further back to when some of the hippies were listening to Clearwater revival and talking over something called the Well. Strange, they talked a lot about Openess I remember. Openness became a thing for the nerds. Open source, free code and so on. An ideological strand within the computer community, that gave us things as Wikipedia and Android.
If we take a look at that stream, we can, if we wish, take a small step even further back to the beginning of the cold war, and we may have an idea about what this is about. At the time the great leader of the atomic development team that gave us the tech behind nuclear warheads mr. Niels Bohr, a Danish physician, was in deep trouble. He just realised that he had invented a tool that could effectively end the entire existence of the planet, and he reached out. He made this beautifully scripted letter to the UN, called the “Weapon of Openness”, you could call that the secret simulacrum of all geeks. The kind of deeper scripture of Anonymous and all those free wheeling internet hippies.
Openess. I happen to know a little bit about that idea, because you see mr. Bohr did not just take that idea out of the open. It was a part of a Danish discourse on ethics of that time, that seeped out internationally, and yes, now I will give you the deeper meaning of it. That comes with another beautiful story.
You see mr. Bohr was a friend of a philosopher called K.E. Løgstrup. Mr. Løgstrup was one of those rare thinkers that actually invented his own philosophy, and, by all means a lost thinker that many churches could take up. He was the true heir to Kierkegaard, in my eyes.
He had a beautiful wife, a certain Rosalia Løgstrup. Just as Kierkegaard was helplessly infatuated with a certain Regine, Knud was in love with his beautiful wife, GERMAN wife.
Under the second world war, one day the German soldiers came knocking on the door of the Løgstrups, and Rosalia had to answer the call. The thing was, that Knud was a part of the resistance, a leading part, and the soldiers wanted him.
So there you have it, a German Rosalia speaking to German soldiers about her husband who were fighting the Germans. A dilemma. Rosalia did not solve this dilemma, but told the German soldiers a little about where he might be. Not all, but a little.
Happily Knud was never caught, but he was questioning the wisdom of Rosalia, so she answered him; it is a basic human trait to be open. It is when we lose our ability to be open that we lose trust.
It is what makes us human.
Now, fast forward to Facebook, perhaps mr. Zuckerberg can actually use this wisdom? Openness is more than just a principle, it is one of the basic things of humanity. If you create more openness in the world, you will, by doing that, make people see themselves, their loved ones and perhaps even their enemies more openly, and thereby bring them more humanity.
G-d bless the will to be open.
To win this election, we need to get into the offensive. It works like this.
While we use our energy to demonise mr. Trump, he uses his many faculties to try and make a policy that will work with the voters.
Mr. Trump is many things, but he is not stupid, on the contrary he is extremely intelligent. He is not evil either, he is just without much experience and extremely conservative when it comes to migration and so on.
So if we just continue demonising mr. Trump, he will eventually win. By small steps.
Mr. Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, the major news apparatus out there, has some really interesting, and I think sympathetic ideas about the impact of Facebook. He says, in the old days people got their views from a single news source, or perhaps a couple of news sources. Today with Facebook, the reader are much more prone to be presented to views they would not necessarily agree with.
What does the mean in this election? It means, that even though mass media is not very friendly to mr. Trump, the normal reader does not notice this very much. There will be news outlets that will convey the ideas of mr. Trump regardless, and they tend to pop up everywhere in the internet, because, basically, these informations are of an interest to everybody.
This is the new situation we are facing.
What does that mean? It means, we are facing a war of solutions. People look at the solutions to their problems, represented by different candidates, and they chose accordingly.
That is why I would say, as Alinsky said in his work; organise, organise, organise. Or content, content, content.
We need to come up with serious, solid, good solutions to the problems that Americans worry about.
So what do they worry about the most? They worry about getting jobs, we covered that base, by supporting American made production. Let us use that a bit more.
Then they worry about crime and terror. This is a topic that we have not covered that much. It is extremely dangerous.
But notice, that mr. Trump has softened his ideas on this field. It is not all muslims now he charges, but only islamists.
This is because he is reading Rubicon, hi mr. Trump, you very welcome, and if can use my ideas, please do. But I do still support ms. Clinton.
So what we need to do, is to make a refinement on the same topic. Otherwise he will just use my good ideas, and not ms. Clinton.
The way it can work is like this:
Instead of charging muslims with terror, charge Islamists. That is politically driven muslims. They dream of a Caliphate and hates democracy.
That is an enemy if there ever was one. At the same time, take of civil rights. This is one of our core strengths.
Say that you support our democratic rights, and know that most American Muslims do the same. And at the same time, you will hunt down all those democracy hating muslims, wherever they are. To win the fight over IS.
See it? At the one hand you do protect most muslims, while you protect the American citizens. The secret services are absolutely ok with this tactics, because this is what they have been doing for a long time anyway. So it is a proven tactics.
G-d bless all who fight for Freedom.
I remember for a long time ago, I met this German guy. We walked along each other for a little while, and he just seemed demoralised in a way. I understand this, after the second world war, Germany lost, and with it lost a great deal of its identity and self appreciation.
It has been a paradigm in Germany, that Germans do not question any refugees coming into Germany, because it lost in the war. In a way it was a way to repent, and pay back.
Listen, I am a Jew, my own great grandmother had to flee nazioccupation in Denmark, and almost died. We have a long tradition in my family for supporting Jews in the run and Israel. But this is not a argument for all the suffering that Germany now runs through. It has to stop sometime.
The Shoa will always be a part of Jewish history, and will never be forgotten, it will stand along the persecution in Persia and Egypt many thousand years ago. But this does not mean, that things cannot change, we can be friends again.
But right now I believe that Germany should start thinking about surviving. The problems at hand are getting out of control, and you have to do something about it.
The rise in crime that has followed the massive migrant influx worries Germans, and that is understandable. The religiously motivated conflicts also worries the citizens.
Germans are extremely wellorganized and courageous, we know that. So you need to use those skills to stop the crime, and end the suffering of Germans who are living close to all the problems that are everywhere.
Do not use excessive methods, but use the tools you have within the state to protect Germans against abuse. Otherwise things might just get our of hand.
G-d bless Germany.
If you want to change something, look at the bright side. That was my point about mr. Soros and his focus on the dark side.
Good preachers look to G-d and see his light for what it is; benevolence, love, charity, support, help, solidarity all these words that transcends all that is evil, and boundaries between men.
Bad preachers they look at evil and rages against it. They talk bad, and have a moral superiority towards other people.
Good preachers know that people are full of faults and will do bad things from time to time, but always tries their best.
Bad preachers look at the faults of the man, and scolds him for them.
Good preachers are full of forgiving and love.
Bad preachers are full of hate and venom.
So the same goes for politics. Good politicians are all in for the good in society and focuses on that. Bad politicians focus on the faults of their opponents, and see a moral problem with them.
To win something, you need a positive vibe, you need to come up with new ideas to solve the problems we have.
That is why I believe we should see our world in the light of a benevolent spirit. A, “yes, we can!” spirit of positivism. Ok, there will be many a turn, where people will tell you we cannot. Do not believe them, there is such a thing as goodness and solidarity in the world, there is!
G-d bless the will to look at the bright side of life.
I know that climate change has not been a major point in the current political debate. But, this is one of the strengths of the liberal part, and we should play by our strengths.
After reflecting on the metaphysical and biological content of nature, I think we should also come up with some practical ideas.
If we zoom in on the ideological content of climate change, in the light of an Empedochlean understanding. Nature has to be set free in a way that it will seek harmony. Harmony is about balance of the different factors, and purity. A simple ecosystem has a better chance of working than a complex ecosystem. So what we need to find is places where nature has been left alone and not meddled with. Like the natural parks. These all sit in remote areas where people have a hard time coming to.
We should build on that idea and make more natural parks, where it is possible. And not only natural parks on ground, but also in the sea.
The good thing about natural parks is also, that people can go there and be inspired about nature.
One thing is to talk about it endlessly, another thing is for people to see it with their own eyes.
One last thing, that I think is a problem, and that is with no comparative data to support it, is the vast pollution of the Pacific Ocean. There is a lot of plastic floating around in the sea, and it is a huge problem for many living species. Turtles, fish, perhaps even some of the flora.
This I am not expert in, but there have been attempts on recovering and rinsing the Pacific through different means. That would be a good project to work on.
G-d bless the will to be the caretaker of nature.
When we talk about climate change, I have often been a little sceptical. Because even though nature is a place that I know I go to find G-d, the simplistic idea that all nature is intertwined and is G-d did not seem right to me.
Let me give you an example. When I walked the Camino de Santiago, that is a pilgrimage to a church in Spain (before I converted to Judaism) I had this amazing experience at the end of the walk. The Camino is an arduous trial you give yourself, and in the process of walking you sometimes get revelations.
Just before I reached the final church, I walked through a glade of eucalyptus. It was a sunny afternoon, the birds sang, it smelled of the sweet smell of green eucalyptus, and I just got the most important revelation there in the glade. This was my church, so to say. The glade was the true church, in the sense, that nature in its beauty, is where G-d really resides.
You go back to the whole discussion of climate change, this is really what it is all about right? We revere nature as where to truly find G-d. And we try to protect the creation of G-d against the rape and destruction often brought to nature by mankind.
This is both right and wrong. Right in the sense, that G-d is nature and resides in nature, wrong in the sense, that in nature there is not only G-d there is also destruction and misery.
This is where we go wrong I think. We take all nature as the residence of G-d, and we fail to see, that in nature materialism is there as well.
The dog eats dog process is also what nature is. So taming nature is sometimes to the benefit of spiritual development in nature, so to speak.
To heighten our understanding of nature is, I believe we need another model of it than what we have already.
Nature is driven, according to Darwin by two forces, firstly by the selection of the fittest live within a habitat, and secondly by sexual choice.
These two principles are better described by another natural philosopher, in my mind Empedocles (the same philosopher who invented progressive tax). He says that nature is like sphere, in the centre is love at the fringes is strife. The development of nature goes as a tidal wave between love and strife. At a specific stage there is strife in nature and in other stages there is love.
In a sense it is the same theory as the either-or idea of Kierkegaard. Saying that you either go with your needs (seduction) or with you spiritual self (forgivness). In other words, there is materialism (strife) and spirituality (love) in nature as such, not only in us humans.
This is really the realisation I think we should make. We should not support material and destructive tendencies in nature, but support where nature seeks for love and beauty, in order to enhance spirit in nature.
Take my little glade of Eucalyptus. G-d was there, and I felt in connection with G-d. If we do the same as environmentalists. That is find where G-d is most present in nature and protect those places maybe even enlarge them, we will do a service to nature, G-d and ourselves, because these places will be the most vivid places of worship for us.
But I think we should also make the connection to ourselves as well. Finding spirituality in nature is also about ourselves. We are G-d in the sense, that we have the ability to support at lifestyle that is pure and virgin. If we take that road, we get closer to G-d.
G-d bless the creator.
Well, if we develop something, we need to understand what we are doing, right? If we just do whatever we feel for, it is not really going anywhere constructive. Research and development needs to be based on sound theoretical ideas to work. I mean, if you want to build a house, you need to know mathematics, how the different building blocks should fit, a fair bit about plumbing, electrical work, architecture and so on.
The same goes for political development, you need to know what you are doing, otherwise you often just end up in being sucked into the never ending cycle of dog eats dog.
There are different attitudes to political development these days, but my feeling is, that they rest upon the wrong foundation. Usually it is a late marxist analysis on some economical foundation. I like economics, my greatest succes has actually been to point on to a Smithsonian developmental technique, but this is purely philosophical and not numbers.
You see Marx was more than a capitalist analytical thinker, he was also a platonist. The idea of the commune is Platonic, and Marx followed the fascination Plato had with Sparta, and tried to copy that. The whole idea about a wealthfarestate is really an overblown version of Sparta.
Now, being an ardent neoplatonist myself. I believe that Marx were right in some areas, and wrong in other areas. Marx was a good mathematician, no doubt, but his ideas of political order were not so good as the ideas brought forth in the French revolution. I suppose democracy as an idea was taken already, or something, I dont know.
Now the pure Marxist state has been abandoned by most countries, because they usually end up in a dictatorship and moral coldness.
Why? Because, as I see it, Marx took only the political framework of Plato, and he rejected the ideological framework of Plato. Why is that? Because as Plato were many thing, there was one thing he was most of all; he was a metaphysician, an academic on the theories of spirit.
The keen reader will have a look on the above picture, and you can see Plato in the centre pointing upwards, to G-d.
If Marx had done a spiritual dialectics instead of a material dialectics, it might just have worked. Because the absence of spirit in a political framework will take away the basic motivation of people to do good.
That is really the key to understand modern socialism I think. To understand that the discourse should be spiritual and not only material.
If you take that leap, you will see a whole new world, and actually have a chance to make it work.
I think that that is one of the main reasons mr. Obama was such a novelty, because he on one hand believes in spirit, (hope) and at the other hand believes in the materiale world (change).
This new item of political discourse has not been realised at all at the university level. But when it does, it will create a whole new strain of political debate, and a new beckoning path for people to follow.
That is true political disruption, that is Change.
G-d bless mr. Barack Obama for his new brave ideas.
I have been thinking a lot about George Soros these last few months. There are a lot rumours about him, but after the leak by a lot of emails, it seems to me, that it is right, that he is funding a lot of basically destructive leftist projects.
I have been thinking a lot about this, because when I read about the story of mr. Soros, I just, immediately liked the man. He seems to be a man of great conviction, he has as a bit of the same background as I have had. He is a Jew, and has had some devastating experiences in the second world war. He has these experiences, that he sees as his motives to change the world to a better place.
He describes his method as a strange one, he talks about looking into the darkness and seeing something in there. He learned this in his years as a persecuted Jew in Hungary.
Well, I have the same urge to do something about persecution, finding the bad guys, pinning them out and trying to make people see what they are really doing. But at the end of the day, I do stand on some very different opinions than mr. Soros. I do support the nation, I support all who are persecuted being white, black, gays, Christians, Jews, Muslims. I have no prejudice.
I think I have kind of made out what really is the basic difference of how we see the world. While mr. Soros tries to confront the darkness, I try to pull people up in the light.
I believe, that there is a sense of goodness in all people. And changing the world is to find that piece of good, and make people see it themselves.
I have a long history going back in time working with conservatives of all kind here in Europe. When I started they were absolutely depressed. After some years, they are finding themselves in a position of development and progress. Why? Because I believe, that I have confronted the negative parts of the conservative political baggage and changed it into a positive political development. Where it before was anti this and that, it is now for a lot of things. This being openly Jew.
Now, according to Plato, what a philosopher must do, is to put light into the end of the cave. This being an arduous task.
I believe in the light, and I believe that darkness should not be met with darkness. It should be met with light.
G-d bless the light of the creator.
Well, now we have successfully got over the start of the election. Things are looking quite good, and it seems to me, that the Democratic contender is in a good mood. What started as a race with little content has begun taking shape, with both new ideas and also more depth in the why and how.
If we take a look ahead, on the next four years of government, a lot of pivotal fights are ahead of us. Most importantly the fight over the Chinese seas, and the production capacity that they have taken away from us.
This challenge is quite difficult, and we have to understand, that being an adamant enemy to mr. Putin, will give us a two sides war that we cannot afford.
At the other hand, diplomacy and understanding with mr. Putin is possible. He is a European after all, and at the end of the day, what motivates him, motivates us. We all strive for a betterment of our countries, and antagonism between states that are extremely powerful is really dangerous. This off cause does not mean we should forget our allies, but it does mean, that we should try and keep as much peace in Eastern Europe as possible. There are other wars that are quite a bit more important.
The war with China is dangerous, because they are capable of hitting targets in the US. So we should think a lot about the outcome of the war, and how we should do it. It will come in some form now, that seems to be the case. But how will we do it?
Then there are all the internal projects we can do when and if we get the power. Here I think we should think most about the little things. Education, infrastructure, tinkering with the security system to optimise it and make it better and more just. This off cause has to go hand in hand with creating more jobs, strengthening the production capacity and so on. Little but important steps.
What is very important, is that we end the gridlock of power in the senate, so that the projects we do have some traction. The war with China is a no-brainer, everybody will support that. The support of our home base production is a no brainer. But still, it has to be done, so that people can see a huge difference in their livelihood.
It can be done.
G-d bless the United States of America.
The elections process is going ok, but there is a problem with the rumours of sickness. If these are true, we have a serious problem. This no amount of spin can truly alleviate that.
If you work in politics, you do it because you want to make a better world. Most are flawed to some degree, but all who go into politics have some ideas on how to make a better world.
This is one of the true strengths of democracy, ideally it is driven by the best men or women in their interest of good.
Often it is flawed or corrupted, but at the end of the day, it is the best system, period.
So a politician needs to think about what really drives them in politics. What is it that makes them politicians basically. This is the true drive of politics.
I believe ms. Clinton has something about children, right? I know how it is, I have been working with children for a long time now. Recently with a sick child, that I work as the caretaker for. Hard work, but a giving work.
In my experience, working with children is as much working with the families of the children. If you have a child that is sick, often the family is also not functioning. The same goes for the village they live in. If it is a good village, chances are, the children are more healthy.
So at the end of the day, making a positive frame for our children is off cause thinking about schooling and health insurance and so on. But it is also about thinking about the community they live in. Is it healthy, is it good. If it is not good, then how do we come about turning it around to be a good community. Often this is the work of the local parish, or other good people.
Hard but giving work. Ideally, the community is held together by a common work ethics, and a good amount of help to those who needs it.
But if you zoom out a bit, you can see, that the village is a part of something greater. It is a city in a county, that is a county in a state, that is a state in the nation.
Everything is interconnected. So you cannot just go into a family and help this or that child, without remembering the frame around them.
See, where I am going? In order to serve the tinniest little wheel in our societal machine, that is the child, the machine itself needs to work.
That is why, looking at the health of the children is a good indication of how the general trends of the society is, because they are the most vulnerable and impressionable.
With this downside up way of looking at society, all what we do makes sense. Because why do we make better schools? To have a better education for our children. Why do we support our democratic institutions? Because ultimately, our children are the ones who pay if they do not work. Why do we have a powerful army, ultimately so that our kids are safe.
This is a viable angle on politics, if you can see the big picture around the small.
G-d bless the will to protect at support our families, with all our children in them.
What we are now witnessing in the US election is a ripening of a conclusive stride that mr. Barack Obama initiated in his tenure as president. Rather what we are seeing, is absolutely new ideas creating new opportunities for the wellbeing of the citizens of the US.
If we zoom out a bit, and look at the tools of statecraft, we can see, that most of them are a bit old. Not that old ideas are inherently bad, but ideas must adjust to new realities.
One of the basic premises of the new interconnected world is the connectedness through the internet.
This is a premise that is new, and has changed politics as well as international strategy upside down. Basically because it has changed the way we can do war. In the old times one said that the first victim of a war was the truth. Today this is no longer true. There is internet fact checking on many levels of our society now.
So this calls for a much more moral way of doing politics. Because if you do something bad, people will eventually know.
This is the best medication we could have had in such a precarious moment of our development, where moral decay is the true problem.
So, we need to address the question; how do our democracy tackle this? There has been a number of answers to this, first and foremost I believe that the tenure of mr. Obama is the true answer to that. That is a presidency steeped in morality and honour. There are no lies coming out of the mouth of the president, and that is how a president should behave.
The answer to the problem of moral decay is not a simple one, it is actually an individual one. Each individual citizen must come up with and answer based on their worldview. Do you believe in protecting minorities? Do you believe in a patriotic defense? Do you believe in a liberal world for speech? Do you believe in a patriotic production environment? Do you believe in supporting your local community? Do you believe in family? Do you believe in transparency?
We all believe in something different, and that is ok, each do we have our role to play in the world. The thing is just, we need to have faith.
That is what this all about, having faith in our part of the mechanics. Doing good for children, elderly, family, business, chuch, civil rights.
Doing good, is the basic answer to the predicament we are in.
G-d bless the will of the creator.
I have been working a lot with magic. Yes, I know, that is wrong, and you should not be dabbling with such infamous things Asger!
But, as a rational person, I have been taking another angle on magic than other, I think.
Psychology is basically also magic. It was invented by Jung and Freud, and even though Freud was very keen on making psychology within the bounds of academic lore, you can easily see on Jungs ideas, that he was heavily drinking from all kinds of strange sources. Freud was quite open on the relationship with ancient Egypt and psychology, and if there is one ancient civilisation that was souped up in magic, it was Egypt.
Often things occult end up in academic mainstream in another name, as alchemy that ended up as chemistry, and so on.
The greatest academics often happens to be the greatest magicians, as Newton for example.
Working a lot with magic, I have made some basic realisations. First of all, magic is a way to enhance your own psychological capabilities. Freud and Jung mostly took the analytical road, but magic is often about creating means to strengthen your own soul.
In this work, I have come to realise the strength of magic, and also the potential for manipulation. You can manipulate with other people, so as a magician, you need to have a very high level of ethics to be trusted.
The reason why I bring this up, is because the Nazis must have been using magic. Göebbles, the propaganda genius used methods known in magic, and it did create a very efficient, though totally immoral system. A system that was inherited by the Soviets and then by the E.U.
In the bottom I will a link to the secretary of Göebbels, that hints to truth of my observation.
In that sense, we have, in the European civilisation been trapped in a dark magical world, where the tools of statecraft was to manipulate with the voters or populace, and not meet their demands and needs.
In a sense the French revolution is the antitheses to the nazi reign. There were some occultist influencing the French revolution, and hence also the US, but they were mainly focused on all the positive virtues of spirituality, enlightenment, humanism, and so on.
But my point is, there is a war between light and darkness, that has been going for a long time. We need to support the light bringers, the humanistic belief in truth as a motor for development, not manipulation. Take our own medicine, and be true to ourselves and the world.
G-d bless the light bringers.

Things are going in the right direction due to the presidency of mr. Obama. Do you remember the feeling of empeeding danger that was prevalent before mr. Obama took the helm?
He took over a state that was totally dependent on foreign oil, had done two wars on the credit card (that is borrowing money from China to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan), and seemed to be loosing the war of civilisation with most other systems. Russia was on the rise, and so was China.
Today, seven/eight years after. The US is in a rebound, China is in deep trouble, Russia is still strong but has not overtaken the US, the US economy is not talking about the impeding danger, but on how to do things in a right way.
All in all a come back absolutely none had foreseen. Talk about a turn around.
But at the basis none has really realised what the problem was, and how we went about to solve the crisis. Because even though I have been lecturing about these issues for a long time, bloggers are not in such a high esteem culturally and intellectually so it has never really been discussed much.
But let us have a look at it again, and let us do it in the light of the prominent academic ever; Plato.
According to Plato, the problem of the democratic system is the lack of moral. That is, freedom, that is the main virtue of the democratic ideology, has a tendency to push other virtues aside, and make a political environment that is too free.
This was what let to the downfall of Athens, according to Plato.
Now Plato was an ambiguous figure in the sense, that even though he was leading as a philosopher, still is, he was never really that keen on democracy. He was leaning towards Sparta, that was a communist state.
So even though he is good, we still need to understand that he is very critical of Democracy.
So where does that leave us? Well, there is another voice I think is good to listen to, or rather two other voices, first of all the contemporary philosopher Isokrates and off cause Aristotle. Isokrates is a long forgotten philosopher, but he was extremely influential in his time. He was the engineer behind the hellenic take over of the then known world through the son of Philip the Macedonian; Alexander the great. According to Isokrates what happens at the end of democracy is the fall of law. Nobody respects the law anymore.
Aristotle that came after Isokrates and was the pupil of Plato believes that democracy should rightfully defend itself against the moral corruption.
Now according to Plato the fall of democracy is heralded by the coming of the strong man. Usually a man that promises to “clean up all the mess”, does that ring a bell, mr. Trump?
Now, mr. Trump is basically a bit opportunistic using street level fighting methods to get going, but he is the archetype of a tyrant. That is why he is so immensely dangerous.
Now, usually I do not like to put down political opponents, I still feel sorry for mr. Romney that Barack and I fought down. As a person I believe that mr. Trump can be a good person. But as a symptom of the system he is a problem. Because people vote for him, because they are sick and tired of the system. That is the true problem of mr. Trumps candidacy. The people are telling the political elite, that they are sick and tired of all the lack of moral they feel is prevalent.
So that is why the best strategy against mr. Trump is not fighting him, it is to get cleaned up ourselves. This tells the voters, that we are hearing them, and are ready to act on their angst and disgust. That is why ms. Clinton is winning. It is because she is showing the voters that she is hearing their criticism, and tries to act on it. See the convoluted strategy? Instead of throwing mud, we are meeting the demands of the voters, and they give us the benefit of the doubt.
Now, we have been working on the flagging out of the industrial part of the US. We are slowly turning this around. But we need to discuss the problem of crime in the southern states. Crime due to drug trafficking, unemployment of migrants and so on.
We need to solve this problem with strong but humane methods. Because this problem is another problem the voters are telling us to work on.
We need to work on it, otherwise next time there is a presidential election, another tyrant might just win.
The way we do it, is through a number of means. First of all, we need a better control of the border. It can be done in many ways. But in these days of internet surveillance it should not be so difficult to set up a border patrol that works in tandem with a surveillance system that is satellite run. It is a matter of priority.
Then we need to tackle the migration problem in the South. Some we need, others, like the criminal, are honestly not our problem. If they come from Mexico, they must return to Mexico.
I know that this is a difficult problem to tackle within humanistic values, but we need to do it, otherwise we end up loosing to Trump 2.0.
G-d bless the United States of America.
It seems to me, that mr. Trump has already given up. That was a short fight!
I mean, I hoped for a prolonged, pitch battle with new weapons and new attacks at the ready all the time. But just one week!
Well, that gives us the answer to why mr. Trump is unfit for a presidential role, winning a presidential election is a like a battle, it takes heavy weaponry, and a keen skill on tactics to win.
But above all, it takes an ability to work for hours and hours, stick to the plan and rock on.
You could see this with mr. Kerry, that made one of the most prolonged pitches for the presidency, but still lost. Just to have a comeback as state secretary. That is how you fight for a presidency.
But, at the other hand, the barrage of mr. Trump, that is name calling and trying to pull the candidate down into a mud fighting, has no effect on a candidate that actually tries to win at other parameters. Such as winning the fight over the Middle class and the blue collar voters.
Whereas mr. Trump has had to engineer his political catalogue as a political hotch potch including different parts of the party, ms. Clinton has had the ability to engineer it to meet voters demands.
The race is not over, but the initiative has now been given to us. So we need to get into attack gear and release some of the positive ideas we have. Such as in the realm of race equality.
I believe, that the most important part of the next presidency will be to try and mend some of those negative feelings that the rise of IS has had on the public.
When a bar full of gays is targeted and people are mowed down in Nice, people get scared. Their worry has to be heard. But at the same time, we need to stick together as a people, or rather the American people has to stick together.
This is done by highlighting not the differences, but what we have in common; civil rights. The fight for a just and equal society, where all have chance to make a living and fulfil their dreams.
G-d bless the will of the founding father, including rev. Martin Luther King.
I have the slight feeling, that the current Democratic nominee is powering up a Middle East envoy and a strategy that is more or less Oslo peace treaty wise.
This is a huge mistake. If that is the case, then it will fail as all the attempt done before has been fails. Lately the try of mr. Kerry.
Mr. Kerry is a very intelligent man, with a drive like a bull. He could not do it, a Hillary Clinton administration cannot either. It is just not possible.
I will tell you why. The Middle East is the cradle of one very important part of our civilisation; religion. All three monotheistic religions comes from the Middle East; Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
So any attempt at doing anything in the Middle East must address this basic premise. That is; what is the religious angle?
Since the Oslo accord never has done this, it has failed.
This is the new angle mr. Obama and I tried, and succeeded with. Look at the Middle East; it is at peace.
Look at it, and tell us, that we did not succeed.
Now there was once a wise that told me about a small axiom; if it work, don’t fix it.
If you zoom out a little on what Barack and I have done in the Middle East. We have brought peace not through negotiations or trying to make dialogue. We have done it through a religious development, steeped in a Jewish prophets ideas. Namely the late rav. Ashlag. One of the main teachers of Kabbalah judaism. Yes, there are actually still Jewish prophets around, they are just a little hidden. But they work their magic anyway.
So through his ideas, that has been to try and make a spiritual and metaphysical basis of all three monotheistic religions as a project of Israel, we have made peace.
Yes there are still smallish fights here and there, and there is still IS. But the commonality between judaism, Islam and Christianity has never been better. It has come to the point where the Shiite actually sees his eminence pope Francis as a great friend, imagine that.
This is how you make peace, not by bending wills.
This is the legacy of Obama, and this is what you will truly miss.
It is extremely huge in its implications. And the next president of the United States of America has to bring this legacy on.
This is not to be condescending, it is just to lay out the land for the next president, and explain what Obama and I have been doing. We can, if we expand on these ideas truly make peace. Because, it is not about the method, it is about the aim. And the aim is peace, as we have given in the holy land as a gift of G-d.
G-d bless the wisdom of the Jewish prophets.
When we talk about freedom in opposition to ethics. Let me give you a good example, or rather a good explanation. As Kant says, if you are a bird and you fly freely, you need something to move your wings. You need air to counter the thrust of your beating with your wings.
The air is moral. If you are free, you are free from somethings. Without the moral, you would not have anything to be free from.
So there is a natural relationship between moral and freedom.
Then if you think about moral, you can basically have two versions. One is a patriotic, swearing, excluding moral. That is; we have the values, and you are not included in them. Then you can have a open attitude to moral. See moral as something including. See moral as helping others, being solidaric, showing compassion and grace.
These are all positive values, and ethics.
As Alinsky says; when he was brought up by some workers leaders, he had this good advice, it was; organise!, organise!, organise! That is show solidarity to each other, and serve the community. Ethics.
Finding the right points of opposition is often what is difficult. Because what is the opposite of free trade? Adam Smith gave us, thank you, that answer.
But what is ethics in general seen from a liberal point of view? To me that is pretty obvious; it is about openness and trust.
This should be the aim a liberal political process. To be able to open and trust each other. To be friends across the lines, and that rests on us being good people, trustworthy, not lie, and show solidarity.
G-d bless the will to be honest and straightforward.
